Lil Baby is special. That much is clear. The 25-year-old has the potential to become one of the biggest rap artists ever, beginning a potential monster run with this year's My Turn. The album is expected to hit #1 on the Billboard 200 again after initially debuting there. This week, the Atlanta superstar released his new single "The Bigger Picture," which is being praised by just about everybody who gives it a spin.

Detailing everything that has gone on in the last several weeks, Lil Baby speaks to the people as only he can, delivering conscious rap and sticking true to his brand. 

The song has people wishing that the rapper gets his flowers this year with some of his most popular peers publicly stating their admiration for his art.

"Just give lil baby a Grammy this year already," said Tory Lanez on Twitter, earning 18,000 retweets from fans who agree with the statement.

The Toronto native has a love affair with Miami, keeping a residence there and spending most of his time in the beautiful city. He’s sang about his love for the 305 and, now that businesses are starting to re-open after the coronavirus outbreak, he can start enjoying the city to the highest degree.

Hearing that nightclubs will begin to re-open in Miami tomorrow night, Tory Lanez couldn’t be more pleased about the latest development as governments fight to protect us against COVID-19. He shared a photo of Kehlani peeking from out of the garden to express his own reaction to the news.

“I jumped out the bushes like this …. when N***as told me the club is low key back in miami after Friday,” wrote Fargo on Instagram. “I said ‘Woooooowww.'”

As restaurants and clubs begin to accept patrons again, it’s important to remember that the coronavirus has not yet run its course. It’s still in the air and people are still getting sick. If you choose to go out and party, try and maintain social distancing and protect yourself and others by employing the guidelines stated by the World Health Organization.

B. Simone seems to find herself in the middle of controversy every other week. Despite the fact that there's a lot going on in the world, her thoughts on dating someone with a 9 to 5 job has sparked outrage. Many thought she was narcissistic for her comments while others thought it was plain unrealistic. Either way, the criticism poured in for the second time in a matter of weeks.

"He can’t have a 9-5... He can be a hustling entrepreneur," she said. "I think entrepreneurs should date entrepreneurs…you’re not going to understand my lifestyle. You’re not going to understand why I’m up at 3 a.m. He has to be an entrepreneur.”

Though it seemed to be more about the lifestyle rather than the income, it still rubbed many the wrong way with Tory Lanez being the latest to chime in. Hitting Twitter, he essentially said that even some of the rappers that flex hard for the 'Gram aren't making as much money as those with a regular job.

"Lolol i guess no one told my dog B.Simone that the world got ALOT of people who work a 9-5 THAT GET MORE MONEY THAN SOME OF OUR FAVORITE RAPPERS /ENTERTAINERS ?!?!???" He tweeted before extending an invitation to all the ladies working normal hours.

"For me on the other hand ... all y’all ladies with 9-5s hit my line I got time," he added. 

Even though Tory Lanez spilled all the receipts, confirming that he cleared his Pretty Ricky sample and ending his feud with Spectacular, his new rival still feels a type of way over what went down.

In a new video uploaded to social media, Spectacular explains his side of the story, noting that he still feels majorly wronged by Tory Lanez and claiming to have lost over $350,000 working with the rapper.

"When I talk about stealing my record, I'm talking 'bout sampling my record," asserts Spectacular. "You put out 'Grind On Me,' not even hollering at me after we was already having conversations, and then you put out 'Yessir,' 'Your Body,' and you literally called me on the phone. You talked to me, bro! And asked me, can I get on the record for you. You told me to come to the studio in Miami. Hit Factory. I couldn't make it because I was on tour. You knew I was on tour, bro. You came to my meet and greet. And the first thing you said to me was, 'Man, you still mad at me huh? I'll just pay you back that money.' Cause you know what you did bro!"

Spectacular goes on to say that he lost $350,000 of his own money dealing with Tory Lanez. He says that the Toronto native has never made things right with him even though he agreed to clear "Yessir" for him.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Stop trying to fool the people," says Spectacular at the end.

Pretty Ricky's Spectacular had better check his facts before he opens his mouth because, after accusing Tory Lanez of sampling the group's music without his permission, the Toronto native proved him wrong.

This weekend, Tory Lanez commented on the surprising collaboration between Akon and Tekashi 6ix9ine.

There was a lot of online banter after Tekashi 6ix9ine and Akon got acquainted in the studio this weekend, sharing a preview of their upcoming record “Locked Up Part 2.” Hip-hop fans are angry at Akon for collaborating with the formerly-incarcerated rapper. Styles P issued his response and so did Tory Lanez.

“So what y’all telling me is …. Akon gave the #LockedUpRemix / SAMPLE to someone else !?!?? And not me?!????” exclaimed Tory on Twitter.

This led another party to get involved, suggesting Tory should just “steal” the record like he allegedly did with a number of others.

“@torylanez you should just stole it like you did Grind On Me and Your Body. Why stop now ….. Just keeping it 2 Virgils,” said Spectacular of Pretty Ricky. 

As expected, the shady reply garnered a response from Lanez.

“STOLE WHAT ??!? Actually I BOUGHT the rights from whoever signed u and publishes your music,” said Tory. “But I guess you weren’t apart of that conversation. Go stare in someone eyes and rub on someone thighs and leave me outta this one.”

Spectacular got the final word in, leaving a comment on the post.

“Ever since you got that new hairline, you been acting different,” he said. “Stop with the [cap]. Last time I checked, I owned my own masters. What type of bootleg business you running. You acting like Virgil but not keeping it 2 Virgils.”

In the midst of all of the protests yesterday, Akon and 6ix9ine had the entire internet buzzing as they linked up for a preview of a new song. As many figured out, the song was a remix to Akon's smash hit "Locked Up." 6ix9ine was dubbing this song as "Locked Up Part 2" and fans are already split on how they feel about it. On one hand, some think the song sounds good while others are appalled that Akon would associate himself with someone like 6ix9ine.

After hearing about the collaboration, Tory Lanez took to Twitter in utter disappointment. As he explained, he couldn't believe Akon had given the "Locked Up" remix to another artist. However, all was not lost for Tory as Akon quickly chimed in noting that he would allow him to be on "Locked Up Part 3."

In these politically-charged times, emotional reactions are expected. Yet, when Shekinah Anderson got on Instagram Live and tearfully yelled at people looting and rioting in Atlanta, some of her comments weren’t well-received. “Y’all done been in them folks’ store taking they sh*t,” she said. “Them people got a family. That sh*t not right. They ain’t did nothing to you, Gucci ain’t did sh*t to y’all. Y’all can say whatever y’all want to say; they racist, I don’t wanna hear none of that sh*t. They ain’t did sh*t to y’all. Saks [Fifth Avenue] ain’t did nothing to you. They ain’t did nothing to you. Lenox Mall ain’t did nothing to you.”

Meanwhile, Tory Lanez was firing off tweets about seeing celebrities and his famous friends denouncing what’s happening within the community. “And to any of my black peers in this entertainment industry …. if your opinion on this matter at hand is ANYTHING along the lines of ‘ we need to blame ourselves … and it’s not the cops fault ‘ or ‘u gotta look at both sides’ ..personally from me to u … F*CK OUTTA HERE.” He added that people have been crying about “protecting these businesses of these huge brands and cooperations from looting” when they will in turn receive insurance money.

“WITH ALL THE THINGS GOING ON …. IM SEEING THIS LADY CRYING OVER THE GUCCI STORE BEING BROKEN INTO?!!?? THE F*CKING GUCCI STORE??!?!??” Shekinah was made aware of Tory’s comments and the two engaged in a bit of a heated exchange when they hopped on Instagram Live together. She claimed that she wasn’t upset about Gucci, but businesses being destroyed, while Tory Lanez let her know this all goes far beyond just George Floyd. Check it all out below.

Tory Lanez is one of the biggest artists in the world right now which means he has a massive platform to enact some change. These platforms are more important than ever right now in light of the recent protests going on across the United States. Protests began following the police killing of George Floyd and now, people of all races are looking to stand up against white supremacy and police brutality.

Yesterday, Lanez was seen marching in Miami, and today, he took to Twitter with a strong message for all of his peers who won't speak up. As he explains, rich people need to realize that the poor and middle class are being killed by cops every day and that it is up to those with a voice to speak up and try to change things for the better.

YK Osiris and Lil Tjay engaged in a friendly boxing match this week, leading the self-proclaimed King of R&B to challenge any and all rappers to the smoke. 

“I’m trynna get busy y’all tag your favorite that y’all think can whoop me,” said Osiris on Instagram. A few suitors stepped up, including Polo G, who was apparently more interested in facing off in a game of pick-up basketball.

After a while, the original fight caught the eye of Tory Lanez, who was ridiculously unimpressed with the technique from YK Osiris and Lil Tjay. 

“Y’all n***as footwork is horrific lmaooo,” he commented. YK offered to fight him the next day, but it seems as though the Toronto native has different plans.

One man that is interested in engaging in a friendly bout with YK Osiris is Trippie Redd, though. The man accepted his challenge, planning a date and time for their face-off.

“Put your money where y’all mouth is ‼️ who y’all betting with. I’m about to tear this man up,” wrote YK on the ‘gram. In his comments, an overwhelming number of people are going for Trippie Redd.
