Eminem has been oddly more interactive with the world in recent times. Perhaps it's the need for change or management demanding that he hop on TikTok but either way, he's giving fans a bit more insight into his otherwise private life.
At the wee hours of the morning, the rapper seemingly stumbled upon a video from No Life Shaq where the YouTuber DM'd several rappers requesting their pick for the greatest rapper of all time. Among the rappers that he DM'd is 6ix9ine, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, and more, as well as Eminem. No Life Shaq admitted that he didn't expect Eminem to respond, though he said that was the only rapper he was eager to hear a response from.
"I had to try with Em. I had to try with Em. Of course, Em not gonna respond," he said. "That one kinda hurt my heart a lil bit because I wanted Em to say himself."
Though he never got a response on Instagram, Eminem did issue a response on Twitter with a list of rappers he'd consider GOATs but suffice to say the inclusion of Redman twice probably confirms that his position on the Def Squad member hasn't changed.
"For me, in no particular order... Toss up between wayne, pac, royce, jay, redman, treach, g. rap, biggie & king crook....," he wrote in one tweet. "Plus redman, LL, nas, joyner, kendrick, cole, andre, rakim, kane..."

A trailer for the new season of Growing Up Hip Hop was released on Friday (March 27) and the show is certainly turning up the drama. Pepa and Treach’s daughter Egypt Criss finds herself at odds with her friends over her fiancé Sam. Things even come to blows with Briana Latrise, former step-daughter to Mary J. Blige. While things kick up with that storyline, the tit-for-tat between Angela Simmons and Romeo rages on.
The Millers suggested that Romeo was doing the right thing with Angela, especially because he could have taken advantage of her while she was morning the death of her son’s father, Sutton Tennyson. In a later scene, Romeo and Master P are confronted by others like Dame Dash’s son Boogie Dash and Eazy-E’s son Lil Eazy-E. Things get heated during the talk and Percy Miller wasn’t about to have anything go left in his presence. Check out the trailer for the explosive season below including Dame getting arrested and speaking about the accusations against him.
Rita Wilson Raps Naughty By Nature Hit During COVID-19 Quarantine
Rita Wilson surprised the masses when she shared her "stir crazy" social media clip of herself rapping "Hip Hop Hooray" in full.
There are many ways that people are occupying their time on this COVID-19 quarantine, but Rita Wilson surprised us all with her recent video. Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson recently shared that while they were in Australia filming a movie, they both contracted coronavirus. Fans immediately sent well-wishes and prayers to the beloved actors, and ever so often, Hanks would give the world an update on how they've been recovering Down Under.
The couple's son, Chet Hanks, took a bit of a break from showing off his patois in order to reassure the world that his parents are recovering just fine. Last week, it was announced that Tom and Rita had been released from the hospital and were on the mend, and then over the weekend, Rita Wilson wanted to let us know just how she's been passing the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown hours as she rapped Naughty By Nature's classic hit "Hip Hop Hooray."
It didn't take long for Naughty By Nature to catch wind of the video and it looks as if they're trying to kick off a bit of a "Hip Hop Hooray" challenge. Growing Up Hip Hop star Egypt Criss, and Treach and Pepa's daughter, hopped online to give Rita Wilson a shout out before rapping a few of her father's lyrics as well. I guess we now know where Chet gets it from. Check out both videos below.

Egypt Criss, daughter to Treach and Pepa, and her fiancé Sam shared the news with their friends at their engagement party.
The relationship between Egypt Criss and Sam Mattick has been a central focus of Growing Up Hip Hop. As the daughter of Naughty By Nature’s Treach and Salt-n-Pepa’s Sandra “Pepa” Denton, Egypt has plenty of people looking out for her. The 21-year-old’s romance with Sam has often been a point of contention with a few of her friends who don’t believe that he has the purest of intentions.
Nevertheless, when Sam proposed, Egypt happily accepted. In a recent episode, the pair decided that it was time for Sam to live his truth so he made a revelation to the cast that left many people floored while at his engagement party. Sam was in the middle of performing when he sang the line, “I’m not straight but I’m not gay” which shocked a few of his friends.
In a speech, Sam spoke about his love for Egypt because she was the first woman he was honest about his past with. He said even after he told her about his two children and his “massive child support” during the first week that they met, Egypt didn’t run from him. “Egypt was the first person that I ever told that I had experiences with a trans woman.”
Eazy E’s son Lil Eazy E said the news took him by surprise and he almost spit his drink out. Angela Simmons was “happy for Sam that he’s being open and honest and vulnerable.” Dame Dash’s son Boogie said he was “shocked” but “not surprised” because “Sam has an outrageous lifestyle.” Vanessa Simmons wished them the best, but Egypt expressed her main concern was how her father, who was in the audience, was going to react.
Treach was obviously not happy how things were unfolding. You can watch his, and everyone else’s, reaction below.
Treach Refutes Allegations He Was Violent With Pepa: "When Did This Ever Happen?"
Their daughter Egypt said she never heard her parents argue.
It’s a family affair on this season of Growing Up Hip Hop. Not only has rap icon Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa back on the small screen with her daughter Egypt Criss, but Pep is also joined by her son, Tyran Moore, and her ex-husband, Naughty By Nature’s Treach. Pepa and Treach’s relationship has been the subject of controversy for decades, but the crux of their scandalous headlines came from Pepa’s allegations that during their relationship, Treach was physically abusive toward her.
Cindy Ord / Stringer / Getty ImagesTreach has publicly addressed the accusations on multiple occasions and even spoke with their daughter Egypt about it on their reality show. Both father and daughter recently stopped by The Breakfast Club for a quick chat about Growing Up Hip Hop but the topic of Treach’s relationship with Pepa couldn’t be avoided.
“We have a love-hate relationship,” Treach admitted. “We good, it’s just, it’s certain things that come up from her book, and now it’s gonna be a Salt-N-Pepa movie. So they come to me and I’m looking at the character they got for me and they wanna release it. And it will never happen, you feel me? It’s like, What’s Love Got to do With It was a great movie, but it wasn’t our story.”
He said he didn’t take any legal action when the accusations first surfaced because his career didn’t skip a beat. “It wasn’t like I was blackballed or anything else. It’s getting to a stage now because I’m seeing—when I actually got the script of what they were saying, I’ve had to keep saying, ‘When did this ever happen?'” He added that he asked Pepa about the same stories in the book and he claims she told him that she didn’t proofread it.
Treach stressed that the #MeToo movement has the capabilities of completely ruining a person’s legacy and career, so he wanted to know exactly when these domestic violence events occurred. “I don’t even know if my kids ever even heard us argue,” Treach said while Egypt interjected she couldn’t recollect any incidents. She also said that Pepa is careful about what’s included and shared publicly because she doesn’t want his life to be negatively affected by any allegations. Watch Treach and Egpyt talk about Pepa below.
