WWE revealed the 2020 salaries for top executives such as Paul "Triple H" Levesque, Vince McMahon, and Stephanie McMahon (Levesque) on Tuesday during their annual shareholders meeting. It shouldn't surprise anyone that all three will be handsomely paid this year.
Both Triple H and Stephanie have received a raise from their 2019 salaries but Vince, WWE's chairman and CEO, will still make nearly as much as both of them combined.
According to Wrestling Inc, Vince McMahon will make $1.4M in salary in 2020, the same amount he made in 2019 and 2018. Meanwhile, Triple H and Stephanie will each earn $730,000 in 2020, which is a $20,000 increase from their 2019 salaries and over $45,000 more than their respective salaries in 2018.
But those figures are just their base. When you take into account things like bonuses, stock options or talent pay, each of the three execs will make several millions.
For instance, Triple H's total compensation in 2019 totalled $3,328,092, including the $2,016,977 he made for his in-ring performances. As Wrestling Inc reports, that was actually a down year for The Cerebral Assassin, who earned a whopping $5,031,459 in 2018. His wife, Stephanie, made $716,133 as a performer in 2019, while Shane McMahon made $2,082,011 as a performer.
Obviously, it remains to be seen how 2020 will shake out for the WWE but we know the McMahons and the Levesques will be just fine either way.
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs Gifted Custom WWE Belt: First Look
Triple H is sending a WWE title to KC in honor of Super Bowl LIV victory.
The WWE is sending a custom championship belt to Kansas City in celebration of the Chiefs' first Super Bowl victory in 50 years. WWE icon Triple H shared a first look at the special edition Heavyweight Championship on Monday afternoon, congratulating head coach Andy Reid and Super Bowl LIV MVP Patrick Mahomes, as well as the rest of Chiefs Kingdom.
The black Heavyweight Championship is highlighted by an enormous, bejeweled WWE logo on the front, flanked by red side plates bearing the Chiefs logo and "Super Bowl LIV Champions."
The Chiefs join the likes of the 2019 Toronto Raptors, New England Patriots, the WNBA’s Seattle Storm and MLB’s Boston Red Sox, as some of the other professional sports franchises that have received custom WWE Titles in honor of their championship performances.
If everything goes according to plan, there may very well be several WWE Heavyweight Championships headed to Arrowhead Stadium in the near future. Mahomes, who is now eligible for an extension after completing three seasons, spoke about his desire to win a lot of football games in KC for a long time coming.
"That's stuff that's handled with other people,'' Mahomes said Monday, according to ESPN. "Obviously, I want to be in Kansas City for a long time. I understand that and also I want to win a lot of football games here.
"For me, it's kind of letting that stuff handle itself. I'm in a great organization. I have a great team of guys working for me, guys and girls. For me, it's about trusting those people and finding the best way to do it in order to have the best team around me.''

WWE’s Triple H Apologizes For Sex Joke About Former Wrestler, Paige
"Even my boss jokes about me.. no wonder you guys still do it too."
WWE Vice President Triple H has issued an apology for making a "terrible" sex joke about former WWE superstar, Paige. The incident occurred over the weekend at a wrestling event in England, during which Triple H was asked about the possibility of Paige and/or Edge returning to in-ring competition.
In his response to that question, The Cerebral Assassin said he'd rather see both superstars - each of whom have had serious neck injuries - live long and healthy lives. He then made a joke about Paige "probably" having some kids she doesn't know of, which doesn't even make sense but definitely upset Paige nonetheless.
“When you’re talking about people as talented as Edge and Paige, who wouldn’t want them to return? I’m a fan, just like everyone else. Yeah, I’d love to see them step in the ring and compete,” Triple H said. “More importantly than that though I’d like to see them live long healthy lives.”
“Edge has kids, you know, Paige — she probably has some she doesn’t know of,” he added, which drew a laugh from the crowd in attendance.
Paige, whose intimate videos and photos leaked on social media in 2017, posted the following response on twitter, "Even my boss jokes about me.. no wonder you guys still do it too."
Ex-WWE superstar Nikki Bella and current WWE host Renee Young were among those who showed support for Paige following Triple H's remark. Check out their reactions in the tweets embedded below.
