Terry Crews has been under fire the past couple of days, after the actor tweeted out a stance on how to defeat white supremacy. Crews wrote to his twitter followers: "Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together."
Despite his intentions, whatever they might have been, the tweet has been at the receiving-end of criticism from both fans and fellow celebs alike. Amanda Seales gave him a full lesson on what is so problematic with his tweet, and his Everybody Hates Chris co-star, Tyler James Williams, has expressed level-headed outrage to Crews over the statement.
The actor attempted to combat Crews' tweet with his point of view, while also advocating for Crews' good heart: "Terry, brother, I know your heart and you know I have love for you and always will," he wrote in response on twitter.
"No one is calling 4 black supremacy & the narrative that we are hurts our cause & our people. We’re just vigorously vetting our “allies” because time & time again they have failed us in the past." He continued, "Our people are tired of white people who put on a good face a claim they “arnt racist” while operating and benefiting from the privilege of a clearly racist system. We’re not trying to do this alone. We KNOW we can’t. But we refuse to have allies who won’t go the distance."
Crews has issued a series of responses to some of his naysayers on twitter, including Williams. In response to Williams, Crews wrote: "I understand, Tyler. I was not saying Black supremacy exists, because it doesn't. I am saying if both Black and Whites don't continue to work together-- bad attitudes and resentments can create a dangerous self-righteousness. That's all."
He also shared a tweet and message for everyone: "Any Black person who calls me a coon or and Uncle Tom for promoting EQUALITY is a Black Supremist, because they have determined who's Black and who is not."
He later followed this up with another message, writing, "I believe it is important we not suffer from groupthink, and we keep minds of our own, and be allowed to ask difficult questions to each other. I believe this dialogue is important as we get through this trauma together. I love you." He continued, "Please know that everything I've said comes from a spirit of love and reconciliation, for the Black community first, then the world as a whole, in hopes to see a better future for Black people."

Erykah Badu Urges Protesters To "Fall Back": "We Are Out Gunned"
Erykah Badu's recent comments on the protests have warranted backlash.
The murder of George Floyd has been met with outrage across the country with peaceful protests taking places in numerous cities. Though with the involvement of the National Guard and local law enforcement the tensions have rose, many celebrities are chiming in with sometimes unpopular opinions on the matter.

Erykah Badu took to Twitter where she shared her thoughts regarding some of the protests across America right now, though not everyone appreciated it. "Military just part of a design. POWERS THAT BE designed it this way 100+ yrs ago. It is a flawless plan that has successfully kept us exactly where we are-In a position of servitude &consumerism. They BANK$ on our fear &emotions then pacify us w/ placation if u push bk," she wrote. "They know we are in revolt mode. WE ARE OUT GUNNED. FALL BACK for now. Family. THAT IS AN ORDER." Adding, "FALL BACK is not BACK DOWN."
Though the bit that confused many was when she said the police and military are "also US." Adding that, "they just confused right now."
"Sometimes we are more interested in CHOOSING A SIDE than critically thinking. But it is humility that brings us to a place where we can observe all sides and make an informed decision while simultaneously seeing what is RIGHT AND to speak on it even in fear," she said in a later tweet.
Donald Trump’s Violent Tweet Leads To Widespread Outrage
President Donald Trump has people up in arms after suggesting that looters should be shot.
President Donald Trump has done and said a lot of outrage-inducing things throughout his presidency and recently, he did it again, this time on his favorite platform, Twitter. As many of you know, there are mass protests happening throughout the country against police brutality. Specifically, these protests are happening in Minnesota where George Floyd was murdered on camera by a police officer. Trump has been made fully aware of these protests and he is clearly not a fan of the citizens exercising their democratic right.
In light of this, he took to Twitter with some chilling commentary, saying that the military could be called into Minnesota and said "when the looting starts, the shooting starts."
These words sent shockwaves throughout social media as it became apparent what the President was trying to say. Essentially, Trump has no issue with killing his own people if they are caught looting and protesting. It's a statement that you simply wouldn't expect from an acting President and social media had quite a bit to say about it all.
In the tweets you will see below, many are comparing Trump to other fascist leaders while many are scared about what this could mean for our future. Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden had a lot to say about this too and it's clear he is upset by what is going on.
If there is one thing for sure, we are living in dark times right now.
Kathy Griffin Advises Trump To Take A Syringe Filled With Air
Kathy Griffin faces backlash for her tweet advising Trump to take a syringe full of air.
Kathy Griffin did not take kindly to Trump’s joke regarding seniors suffering from diabetes. “Trump at diabetes event at WH: ‘I don’t use insulin. Should I be?’” tweeted Jim Acosta, CNN’s chief White House correspondent.
Griffin quoted Trump’s comment in a tweet saying, “Syringe with nothing but air inside it would do the trick. F— TRUMP.”
The Washington Examiner asked Twitter if Griffin breached their violent threat policy and contacted the Secret Service seeking repercussions for the comedian after tweeting, “Griffin advocates for someone to stab Trump with [a] syringe full of air. Air embolisms, caused by air getting into the bloodstream, can be fatal.”
“I SURE DID F***ER,” Griffin tweeted in response.

Griffin’s syringe tweet sparked criticism surrounding past statements of her own, as well as Trump’s. Some interpreted the tweet as a reference to Trump’s remarks about exploring the option of treating COVID-19 with injections of disinfectant: “And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?”
Others are referencing Griffin’s prior scandal involving Trump in which she produced an image of herself holding what appeared to be the severed head of the president. “Are you encouraging yet another death threat against @POTUS? @SecretService she’s at it again,” tweeted @GeminiSQ0714, who is referring to when Griffin was investigated by the Secret Service after the picture first surfaced in 2017.
Griffin has received some support amidst all the backlash. @briansantamaria tweeted, “The pearl clutching over Kathy Griffin is hilarious. Didn’t trump himself tell people to fill a syringe with bleach like a week ago? Hasn’t he been ranting all day specifically about free speech on twitter? Lol at trump’s protectors suddenly caring about decency. Ffs.”
Giffin’s tweet has since been taken down for violating Twitter rules.
“Marshall Law” Is Trending Online & People Think It’s A New Eminem Album
The misspelling of a word has led people to think a new Eminem album is dropping soon.
On Monday, Florida senator Marco Rubio sent out a tweet addressing the coronavirus pandemic and the possibility of needing military assistance to control normal civilian functions, aka Martial Law. However, Mr. Rubio misspelled the term “Martial Law” and instead tweeted out about “Marshall Law,” which caused the term to start trending on Twitter and left people thinking that a new Marshall Mathers album was on the way.
"Please stop spreading stupid rumors about marshall law. COMPLETELY FALSE," Marco tweeted. "We will continue to see closings & restrictions on hours of non-essential businesses in certain cities & states. But that is NOT marshall law."
His unfortunate misspelling of the term, which refers to a military body taking control of a certain area, became a trending topic and confused Eminem fans into thinking Shady was dropping a new album titled Marshall Law.
"Saw 'Marshall Law' trending n thought Eminem had dropped ANOTHER surprise album," someone commented on Twitter. "No, no. Marshall Law is real. It is just the title of the next Eminem album soon to be released," another Twitter user posted.
Someone else added, "Damn I was wondering why Marshall Law is trending. I seriously thought Eminem is dropping a new album."

Halle Berry Disses Distant Relative Sarah Palin
Halle Berry dissed her distant relative, politician Sarah Palin, on a viral Twitter thread, clarifying that the former VP candidate "ain't invited to the cookout."
Halle Berry has a very surprising distant relative in her family tree, but let her be clear, former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin is NOT invited to the cookout. Halle threw some shade Ms. Palin's way on Friday Twitter, after the Daily Blast Live tweeted the little known fact about her family tree as part of a thread on celebrities who are surprisingly related. Among the herd are Hillary Clinton and Madonna, best buddies Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, Kerry Washington and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, and lookalikes Sen. Bernie Sanders and Larry David, who actually plays the Democratic presidential candidate on SNL.
The thread noted Halle and Sarah's relation in a tweet that reads, "This pair shares roots that may seem like they're from different trees, but @halleberry and former VP candidate @SarahPalinUSA are distant relatives -- though the actual connection is unclear." Halle saw the mention of her and the unwelcome member of her bloodline, and decided to respond in the most hilarious way possible.
"She may be on the tree but she ‘AINT invited to the cookout," Halle responded, making her feelings toward the conservative politician very clear. The actress has never denied their relation, however, and even addressed their ties back in 2012 during a promotional tour for Cloud Atlas. "You want to know who I'm related to?" she asked in an interview. "Sarah Palin."
"No!" interviewer Jerry Penacoli, exclaimed. "That's what I said! 'NOOOOO!'" Berry shouted while laughing. When her co-star, Tom Hanks, asks, "is it a DNA thing?" she replies, "some twisted way...somebody sent me this information that she was my distant [relative]."
Khloe Kardashian Laughs Off Tristan Thompson Shirtless Tweet
Khloe Kardashian reacted to a tweet of her ex, Tristan Thompson, shirtless on an exercise bike, laughing at the user's joke about him cheating.
Khloe Kardashian can finally make light of Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal, as she reacted to a Twitter user using a shirtless photo of the NBA player to joke that they "understand" why she let him treat her so poorly. It's been over a year since Tristan Thompson was exposed for trying to cheat on his baby mother, Khloe Kardashian, with family friend, Jordyn Woods. The scandal made headlines for months, but Khloe eventually forgave Tristan, who had been caught cheating on her in the past, for his actions. Now, it looks like she's gotten to a point where she can laugh about the whole thing, since she reacted to a Kardashian superfan's tweet featuring a photo of a shirtless Tristan working out.
"You know what..." Myleeza Mingo wrote on the photo. "I understand now girl @khloekardashian." The reality star saw the tweet, and proceeded to reply with five laughing emojis. Tristan himself recently thirsted over his ex in the comments of her racy IG photo. Khloe posted a mirror shot of herself rocking a white two-piece set, which Tristan reacted to by commenting, "Saucy." He pulled a similar move in November, writing, "WOW! PERFECTION!" on a different photo of her.

In December, Khloe issued a statement on her relationship with Tristan, revealing that she had forgiven him. "I don’t hold any negative or hateful feelings towards anyone! I mean that. Life is short," she wrote on her Instagram story. "We are all humans trying to figure out this thing called life. Who am I to condemn anyone else? Yes, I’m allowed to feel hurt and pain. It would be unnatural for me to pretend as if I don’t. Personally, I don’t want to be carrying around a hateful heart. I crave peace in my life. Me holding onto hate is only going to hurt me in the end."
Cardi B Says Rico Nasty Is "Up Next"
Cardi B and Rico Nasty gave each other some positive affirmations after an old clip of Cardi rapping "Bodak Yellow" resurfaced on Twitter.
Cardi B and Rico Nasty were spreading the love on Twitter after an old tweet of Cardi rapping her breakout hit, "Bodak Yellow," in a clip resurfaced. In a world where women in hip hop are so often pitted against each other and the public pushes narratives about constant beef, it's always refreshing when two female rappers have nothing but kind words for each other. Such actions recently occurred on Twitter, when a video of Cardi B rapping the hit song that would launch her into superstardom made its rounds. The tweet was posted by Cardi herself on April 22nd, 2017, a few months before "Bodak Yellow" was released and Cardi subsequently blew up.
At the time when Cardi was better known as a reality star, but all that was about to change. Rico Nasty brought up Cardi's impending success at the time when she retweeted the throwback tweet on Friday, noting how dope the song already sounded back then.
"This so fire it didnt even have adlibs yet omg," Rico tweeted. "I wonder if she knew right here how big that song would be." Cardi responded with the answer she was looking for, and even asked Rico if she knows that she's destined to follow in her footsteps.
"Yeup ... I felt in my heart !" Cardi replied, before asking Rico," ......I wonder if you know your up next ?!" Nothing like queens supporting queens. Could this mean that a collab is on the horizon?
Yaya Mayweather Declares She & NBA YoungBoy Are "Locked In For Life"
It's a ride or die situation with these two.
The relationship between NBA YoungBoy and Iyanna "Yaya" Mayweather has never been an easy one to define, but apparently they're in it for the long haul. YB has always made it clear that he is definitely not a one-woman man, which has lead to plenty of problems including one of his many girlfriends getting attacked this week by a woman who appears to be Yaya. While it's unclear whether YB himself is still playing the field, Yaya seems to believe that the two of them are each other's ride or die regardless. She recently took to Twitter to call out all the negativity surrounding her man, and declared that she and YoungBoy are "locked in for life."
"Y’all don’t know the half, but y’all always going to believe lies," Yaya wrote on Twitter. "Anything to make me or him look bad. We locked in 4L through thick and thin, wrong or right, the good bad and ugly. Who are y’all to judge? #caseclosed." YB himself recently denounced the way he's been recognized by the public thus far, tweeting, "F*cked up how People always make me seem like a bad person I’m just me."
While his romantic history and legal troubles have certainly contributed to this bad reputation, it looks like both NBA YoungBoy and Yaya are committed to tearing down these "false" perceptions.
Conor McGregor Claims Donald Trump Might Be The GOAT Of The USA
McGregor just came off of a win at UFC 246.
Twenty-twenty is a big year for politics in the United States of America. Later this year, the Democratic party will have chosen their candidate who will go to battle against President Donald Trump in the general election. It remains to be seen how the election will go down, even with all of the criticism surrounding Trump. While many speak out against the president, there are still plenty of people who are ride or die for him. As it turns out, one of those people is none other than UFC star Conor McGregor.
Yesterday, Trump celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day by talking about himself and his accomplishments as President. That's when McGregor jumped into the comments section to express his love for the 45th president of the United States.
"Phenomenal President. Quite possibly the USA ?," McGregor wrote. "Most certainly one of them anyway, as he sits atop the shoulders of many amazing giants that came before him. No easy feet. Early stages of term also. Incredible. Congrats and Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day America."
McGregor's comments were met with a mix of support and strong disagreement. There is no denying both McGregor and Trump are polarizing people. Perhaps that's why they attract each other. Either way, we're sure some McGregor fans won't be too impressed with these comments.
