Nicki Minaj has been known to troll her fanbase in the past and her use of Twitter is always a great place to start those little fires. Today, Nicki hopped on Twitter where she engaged with her fans about the success of her "Say So" remix with Doja Cat. For the most part, Nicki fielded numerous questions about the song and how the collaboration ultimately came about.
However, at one point, a fan asked Nicki about whether or not she has been having morning sickness which, of course, is a sign that you might be pregnant. Nicki took the bait and answered the question, noting that she has been nauseous and going to the bathroom more than usual. From there, a fan asked if she would be showing off a baby pump anytime soon. Minaj answered that question, as well, saying: "Yea in a couple months. The world ain’t ready yet."
These comments certainly imply that she might be pregnant but as we said before, Nicki has been known for trolling in the past and there is no telling for sure. Even her fans are remaining cautiously optimistic about these revelations, with some saying they will only believe it once the baby is born.
Stay tuned for updates on this developing story as we will be sure to bring them to you.
Stephen A. Smith Finally Acknowledges His Meme Burner Account
Stephen A. Smith couldn't avoid the questions about the man running a burner account in his honor.
Stephen A. Smith continues to be one of the most entertaining voices in all of sports media despite everything that has been going on lately. Smith is still on First Take every single day and he is always providing his hot takes and entertaining delivery. In a time of crisis, Smith continues to be a voice that we can all rely on for at least some form of happiness.
Last night, Smith decided to hop on Twitter where he did a live Q&A with his fans. At one point, Smith was asked about the burner account that continues to gain traction online. The burner posts various Stephen A. memes under pretty well every tweet related to sports. These clips are hilarious and the burner has become a powerhouse. In the clips below, Smith seems dismissive of the burner at first but when he realized what it does, he changed his mind and gave his stamp of approval.
The burner account seemed pretty excited to get the Stephen A. co-sign although a follow has yet to take place. Smith's burner account has over 300K followers and it will probably be closer to 500K by the time this quarantine ends.
Perhaps the two could collaborate someday.
Nicki Minaj Says Fans & Label "Bullied" Her
The Barbz refused to wait any longer for Nicki Minaj's "Yikes" single.
It's a widely-known fact that Nicki Minaj has one of the most loyal and lethal fanbases in music. The Barbz will tear the throats of anyone who comes for their queen and will readily list off her accolades to put any detractors in their place. While it must be comforting for Nicki to have these troops in her corner, their intense fanaticism can sometimes turn on her. The rapper should have known that when she previewed a new song earlier this week that The Barbz would pressure her into releasing it ASAP.
Unsurprisingly, the intimidation tactics worked and "Yikes" was shared with the world on Friday. In a Twitter Q&A with fans celebrating the single's release, Nicki admitted that the hounding by her stans - and consequently Cash Money Records - led to her rushing the completion of "Yikes". After being asked how the song came about, Nicki explained, "I was playing a snippet for my crazy fans & they made me put it out. They are bullies. I only had 1 verse done. The label bullied me too. I’ve been bullied."
Despite Nicki painting herself as a victim in this scenario, "Yikes" appears to have been a major win for her. The song slaps and The Barbz are ecstatic.
