Tekashi 6ix9ine is one step away from being a free man. After the feds approved his early release from prison this week, it's all up to Judge Engelmayer, who is set to decide the rapper's fate imminently.
Many of us expected the verdict to be out yesterday afternoon after Judge Engelmayer noted that he was "inclined" to grant 6ix9ine a compassionate release amid the coronavirus outbreak, citing his pre-existing medical conditions as the reason why he should serve the remainder of his sentence from home. Now that he's about to become a free man, the internet is blowing up with memes and jokes about the rainbow-haired informant.

Some people joked about what his first Instagram Live session would look like. Others begged for a "First Day Out" single release. Others envisioned how happy 6ix9ine must be, knowing that he won't get attacked upon his release because of the self-quarantine locking us all down.
Of course, all of this will soon come to reality. Once 6ix9ine is back in the real world, it's anybody's guess as to what we can expect from the boisterous Brooklynite. Will he lay low for a few months before dropping new music? Or is he going to come back strong right off the bat? Will he be as reckless as before? Or will he tone down his act?
Check out some of our favorite memes about his release below.
Cardi B Rushed To Hospital For Stomach Pains
Cardi B tweeted that she went to the emergency room after experiencing days of serious stomach pains.
Imagine making the very difficult decision to take a trip to the hospital’s emergency room right now for stomach pains. Cardi B was tasked with deciding whether or not her discomfort was serious enough to go to her local medical facility, sharing a photo of her wrist bracelet to confirm she had been admitted.
As reported by TMZ, the global music superstar was in the hospital this week for abdominal pain and she’s reportedly feeling better. She sent out a tweet, which has since been deleted, confirming her trip to the ER.
“Honestly cause I been having some real bad stomach problems for 4 days, I went to the ER last night and I’m feeling way better. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel no more pain,” wrote the rapper.

Given the current state of the world and the health crisis we are navigating, a trip to the hospital is very risky. The fact that she showed off her hospital bracelet has some fans speculating that she was tested for COVID-19, but that much has not been confirmed by the recording artist.
This poses an important question. If you were having serious stomach pains, would you risk your overall health and go to the emergency room, knowing you have a chance of coming into contact with the coronavirus?
O.J. Simpson Convinced "Tiger King" Star Carole Baskin Killed Her Husband
O.J. Simpson speaks on "Tiger King" and Carole Baskin as he remains on the golf course during the coronavirus pandemic.
Much like the rest of us, O.J. Simpson has watched the new Netflix docu-series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem & Madness and he has some theories over what actually happened to Carole Baskin's husband.
The former football star is widely believed to have gotten away with murder, and now he seems to believe that Carole Baskin has done the same thing.
Recording a video on the golf course where he is currently not social distancing, O.J. Simpson claimed that he watched the majority of Tiger King this week and he is convinced that Baskin had something to do with her husband's death.

"There's not a shred of doubt in my mind that that lady's husband is tiger sashimi right now," said Simpson before laughing and signing off.
Carole Baskin has vehemently denied having anything to do with her husband's death, for the record.
In the same video, Simpson makes a comment about race and the current state of America.
"Oh my god, is America in this bad of shape?" asks the man. "I watched about six episodes of this show and I couldn't even believe what I was looking at. White people! What's with you and wild animals? Leave them animals alone!"

21 Savage Fans Freak Out Over #RIP21 Twitter Trend
NFL stars remembered #21, Sean Taylor, on his birthday, but the resulting Twitter trend scared a bunch of 21 Savage fans.
Hip-hop fans opened the #RIP21 trend on Twitter with their hearts already having dropped to the floor, anticipating the worst regarding Atlanta rapper 21 Savage. Thankfully, the superstar recording artist is still very much alive and the trending topic has nothing to do with him. That didn't stop fans from freaking the hell out though.
As football fans remember the life and legacy of Sean Taylor, who wore the number 21 for the Washington Redskins, on what would have been his thirty-seventh birthday, the hip-hop world was scared to see what had happened to their beloved Saint Laurent Don.

"WHY WOULD YOU HAVE #RIP21 TRENDING DURING THESE TIMES, I THOUGHT WE LOST 21 SAVAGE," wrote one person on Twitter. "I see #RIP21 and automatically thought y’all were talking about 21 Savage," tweeted another.
While several people in the world can be described using solely the number 21, 21 Savage is likely the most recognizable figure using the moniker. Another hashtag would probably have been more appropriate while avoiding all of the confusion that broke out on social media. Hopefully, that's noted for next year.
Sean Taylor passed away in 2007 after being shot inside his Miami home. The Redskins' safety was only twenty-four at the time of his death.
Luka Doncic Apologizes For Racist Video
Luka Doncic accidentally shared a video that contained racist remarks against Albanians, and he has since apologized.
Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has apologized after posting a video to his social media pages that contained a racist statement against Albanian people, which he initially did not understand.
The guard landed himself in hot water after posting the video, which he removed immediately after realizing he had made a mistake.
"Sorry about the video i posted!! didn’t see the bad world !! i would never share something like that," said the 21-year-old basketball player on Twitter.
He also reached out to Albanian personality Deni Hoxha, who responded to the video with harsh remarks. Hoxha noted that he accepts Doncic's honest apology and understands that the video was shared without the hooper's full understanding of its content.
"Mavericks player Luka Doncic shared by mistake a video with racist remarks towards Albanians. Thank you Luka for your apology," said the Albanian. "I believe you. Reconciliation between our nations is the only way forward."
Doncic has blossomed into one of the best players in the entire league, becoming the first player to ever earn two 40-point triple-doubles before turning twenty-one. When/if the NBA season continues, he will surely be somebody to keep your eye on.
Do you think Luka Doncic can continue his tremendous rise in the basketball world?

Ronnie 2K Disses DeMarcus Cousins On Live; Boogie Responds
Ronnie 2K accidentally called DeMarcus Cousins a "dick" during a live-stream, which he has since apologized for.
The NBA season may have been stopped because of the current global health pandemic but that doesn't mean that the league is exempt from the usual drama. Things have just shifted over to the virtual world.
Without the opportunity to compete on the hardwood, NBA players will be going head-to-head in a Players-Only League on NBA 2K20. The game's social media head, Ronnie 2K, is well-known in the basketball community and, although he usually remains diplomatic, he forgot that he was on a live-stream when he hopped on a call about the upcoming tournament. Speaking to one of his colleagues, he accidentally revealed his true feelings about DeMarcus Cousins.
"Cousins is such a dick, I can see him just being like, 'I don't wanna fucking do this,'" said Ronnie 2K, forgetting that he was in the middle of a live-stream.
Once the 7-foot-tall center caught wind of the comment, he responded with a GIF on Twitter, which forced the gaming wiz to apologize.
"Bro in a moment of work stress, I said something super dumb that wasn’t at all how I feel about you," said Ronnie 2K. "My bad & I sincerely apologize. Let’s have some fun starting this weekend, bring the action and see if you can be crowned champ."
Rookie mistake.
Tekashi 6ix9ine May Be Released From Prison Today
Tekashi 6ix9ine may be released from prison later today as the Judge is "inclined" to grant him compassionate relief.
It's looking likely that Tekashi 6ix9ine could be released from prison later today, as Judge Paul Engelmayer has officially stated that he is "inclined" to offer compassionate relief to the Brooklyn rapper.
In a wild turn of events, the Judge presiding over Tekashi 6ix9ine's case appears to be willing to grant his release from prison later today. In a series of tweets by Inner City Press, who has been providing live courtroom updates on the matter for months, it was revealed that after the Bureau of Prisons denied 6ix9ine's release this week, a second appeal was filed and the Court intends to grant it.
False reports have started to circulate regarding the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine and, although that may happen later today, it would not become official before 5 PM.
"The Court directs that the Government respond by 5 pm. The parties are advised that, provided the Court has authority to grant the relief requested by defense counsel, the Court intends to do so," reports Inner City Press. Unless the Judge is pulling an epic April Fool's Day prank, it looks like 69 will actually be getting out.
The rapper's first appeal was reportedly turned down because he had not consulted with the Bureau of Prisons but, after being denied by the BOP, the Judge is now inclined to release 6ix9ine pending the US Attorney's official opposition of the order.
We will continue to keep you updated on 6ix9ine's possible release from prison throughout the day.
Lil Nas X Wins April Fool’s Day
Lil Nas X came through with the funniest April Fool's Day joke of the day so far, trolling his fans about his sexual orientation.
April Fool's Day 2020 has justifiably been canceled this year because, well, nothing can top what we've already lived through during these last three months. The entire year has basically been a complete joke, complete with a literal global pandemic popping off in the last few weeks. If you were planning on pranking your friends and family today, it might be a good idea to reconsider. We're all going through a lot and dealing with this situation differently. Twitter jokes are welcome, however, and the king of said internet activity just reigned supreme once again.

Lil Nas X has been celebrated for the way he connects with his fans online, engaging in ridiculous amounts of banter with his followers and quickly becoming one of the most relatable celebrities on the planet. Much like the rest of us, the 20-year-old recording artist is in self-quarantine but he wasn't about to let a pandemic ruin his months-long preparation for April Fool's Day. He rang off his prank successfully this morning.
"I was never gay. i said it to build up fuel for aprils fools day. ha got u guys," wrote LNX on Twitter, joking about his coming-out moment last year. It took him all of thirteen minutes to reveal he was capping.
"Where the hoes at," he added before bouncing back to his real life. "Ok i’m gay again," he wrote.
Do you think Lil Nas X has April Fool's Day on lock? Can/will anyone out-perform him?

He's gone extra hard at Meek Mill, claiming he was a "scary" guy who hides behind his security.
Meek Mill's Twitter fingers shot back by calling Chop mentally ill.
