French Montana has been on a wild press run, calling up numerous media outlets and talking his shit. The New York rapper initially did some damage when he claimed to have more hits than Kendrick Lamar. Sometime between then and now, he insinuated that he structured his hit record "Unforgettable" with Swae Lee. That comment angered the Rae Sremmurd artist, who ended up calling "cap" on him. Now, their relationship appears to be strained and in another new video, French Montana threw some major shade at Swae.
Speaking with Billboard, French Montana claimed that he produced Rae Sremmurd's song "Powerglide" but that he never got credit for it. Now that a feud has kicked off with Swae Lee, he noted that he will come after his royalties now.

That wasn't all though. Speaking about their near-diamond record "Unforgettable," French Montana called out Swae Lee for releasing a would-be second version and not including him.
"If I didn't structure the song, what happened when they put out 'Unforgettable' part 2, 'Guatemala'? How come that didn't sell nine million?" asked French. "That's how they try and do me. I do 'Unforgettable', they take me out and he replaces me with somebody else to come out with a part 2. I never took it no way."
It sounds like French and Swae need to hop on a call to hash things out because this is getting messy quickly.
Swae Lee Calls "Cap" On French Montana "Unforgettable" Claims
French Montana claims he had to structure “Unforgettable” before it was released but Swae Lee begs to differ.
French Montana and Swae Lee are behind one of the biggest hits of the last decade in “Unforgettable” but they seem to have different stories about how the song came about.
In the last few weeks, French Montana has been involved in tons of drama, stemming from his comments about Kendrick Lamar during an interview with Complex. The rapper said that he would “outshine” Kendrick on a festival stage because he has more hits than him, which did not sit well with fans at all. Young Thug stepped up to fight him on it before Fivio Foreign called him out as well. Now, it would appear as though Swae Lee may not want to be associated with the rapper anymore.

“It didn’t have no structure. I had to sit there like a scientist and put it together,” said the rapper.
Swae Lee was unfond of those remarks, calling them “cap” before French went and started some drama again.
“I HAD A MONKEY BEFORE YOU. YOU HAD THE MONKEY FIRST?” asked French about their affinity for exotic pets. “LETS BEEF ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE NOT UNFORGETTABLE WE WON.”
At this point, French Montana should possibly consider just laying low for the next few weeks. He continues to let his mouth get him in trouble.
French Montana Reacts To Nearly Going Diamond
French Montana reflects on selling eight million records on the anniversary of his biggest song ever, "Unforgettable" with Swae Lee.
French Montana seriously delivered a goldmine three years ago when he released one of the defining songs of the year, "Unforgettable" with Swae Lee. The track cemented Swae Lee as a veritable solo artist, and it also gave French Montana that one mainstream hit that he was missing. Until the end of his days, the Bronx native will be getting hefty cash payments from the song.
On the three-year anniversary of its release, French Montana is looking back at how much it has changed lives across the globe. He posted a touching message on Instagram.
Eugene Gologursky/Getty Images"JUST IN TODAY - 8 MILLION RECORDS SOLD ! ALMOST DIAMOND," wrote the 35-year-old rapper. "NOTHING MADE ME HAPPIER THAN SEEING THESE KIDS’ FACES AFTER I GOT THEM THE 12 VISAS TO COME TO THE LAND WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE, I KNOW THAT FEELING," he added, referring to the children he filmed the video with in Uganda.
"IT WAS MORE THAN A SONG IT WAS A LIFE CHANGING EVENT THAT HELPED MILLIONS, THANK YOU TO ALL THE FANS BECAUSE ON THIS DAY 3 YEARS AGO IT CAME OUT AND MY BROTHER @swaelee THE YOUNG GOAT AKA BLANKET JACKSON," he wrote.
That final statement speaks volumes about the talent of Swae Lee. French clearly believes that he is a spawn of the great Michael Jackson. Do you think the Rae Sremmurd member will continue levelling up to prove that to the rest of the world?
