If you were looking to fill your home with Erykah Badu's vagina-scented incense, you're too late. This past Thursday (Feb. 20), the artist born, Erica Abi Wright, took to Twitter to announce the news that her 'Badu P*ssy Premium Incense' sold out. Lately, the gifted musician has been passing along words of wisdom to the new generation of up-and-coming artist, praising the father of her children, and showing the masses her generational blessings. And now, she's in the business of providing the masses with flavorful aromas and more.
It took only 19 minutes for Erykah Badu's 'Badu P*ssy Premium Incense' to sell out. According to the Badu World Market website, the vagina-scented candles were hand-crafted with ashes from the singer’s underwear, pure resin, essential oils, and herbs. For $50, each order came with a total of 20 incense per pack.
While speaking to 10 Magazine, the "Green Eyes" singer stated:
"I took lots of pairs of my panties, cut them up into little pieces and burned them... Even the ash is part of it."
While the incense might have sold out rapidly, the Badu World Market website still has Badu-designed t-shirts, hoodies, clogs, crystal-infused water bottles and more available for purchase. As of right now, there is no information available when or if the 'Badu P*ssy Premium Incense' will be restocked.

“Badu’s Pussy” will be distributed through her future web store.
Earlier this month, it was heavily reported that Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop company was selling a candle that smelled like her vagina. Everyone who curiously clicked on this story discovered that this candle was not actually designed to replicate the scent of Paltrow’s vagina, but was merely marketed in this way because she remarked that it smelled like vagina when giving it a first whiff. Erykah Badu, on the other hand, is actually aiming to release a fragrance that smells like her vagina.
In a new interview with 10 Magazine, the 48-year-old singer-songwriter detailed her plans to sell “Badu’s Pussy” incense through her soon-to-launch online store, Badu World Market. “I took lots of pairs of my panties, cut them up into little pieces and burned them,” she said. “Even the ash is part of it.” Badu didn’t mind disposing of her underwear to craft this olfactory tribute to her “superpower” because – as she revealed in the interview – she no longer even wears underwear.
The notion that Erykah Badu’s vagina has superpowers is one that has circulated in hip hop folklore. She has birthed children with three rap legends: Andre 3000, Jay Electronica and The D.O.C. When you consider the connecting thread between these men, they are all incredibly talented lyricists who have been really bad at regularly releasing music in recent years. Badu has been asked in the past whether her “superpower” has something to do with this phenomenon.

This past Tuesday, the former Marvel Universe actress, hosted a private screening of the upcoming docuseries in Los Angeles, CA. However, while her guests were thoroughly entertained by her multi-part documentary detailing alternative health methods or wellness trends, it was her floral decorations that stole the show.
A tight-abed and svelte Gwyneth Paltrow, who recently received some shade Martha Stewart in regards to her vagina-scented candles, stood in front of a vulva-shaped floral arrangement that ranged from deep scarlet hues to softer varying pink tones. The vagina-shaped floral composition used as a backdrop complimented Paltrow’s white spaghetti-strapped crop top and matching, flared slacks.
While the event’s vagina flower design turned heads, Paltrow’s The Goop Lab docuseries informed its viewers about alternative medicine and wellness activities. The Goop Lab features Paltrow interviewing a multitude of alternative health and wellness experts and enthusiasts. Paltrow then proceeds to participate in said alternative methods during various segments throughout each episode.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s upcoming docuseries The Goop Lab is set to premiere Friday, Jan. 25 on Netflix. Check out the official trailer for The Goop Lab as well as more photos of Gywneth Paltrow’s vulva-inspired floral decor in the photos provided below.
