Vanessa Bryant was feeling thankful this week that the murals of her late husband and late daughter, Kobe and Gianna Bryant, did not get vandalized during the protests in L.A. this past week. As protestors across the country have taken to looting and destroying some businesses and property as they fight for justice in the police killing of George Floyd, it looks like the Angelenos thankfully left the murals of the city's Lakers legend alone. Vanessa took to her Instagram stories on Monday (June 2nd) to share some photos of the "untouched" murals, some of which also include her late daughter, Gianna.

She first shared footage of a mural that depicts Kobe and their daughter, Natalia, being saved in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles. She went on to share a screenshot of a tweet that read, "They know Kobe is off-limits" along with a photo of a Kobe mural with signs that say "Black Owned" on either side. Vanessa proceeded to post photos of different murals of Kobe and Gigi, both together and individually, that had been saved around L.A. In some of the captions, she wrote expressions of gratitude like, "Kobe and Gigi mural saved," "Untouched Kobe mural," and "L.A. love," along with an abundance of heart emojis. Check out the photos here.
Earlier this week, Vanessa shared a photo in response to George Floyd's horrific murder, which showed Kobe wearing a shirt that reads "I Can't Breathe." The photo was taken back in 2014 after the police murder of Eric Garner who, like George Floyd, also cried out that he couldn't breathe while a police officer suffocated him to death.
Church’s 100-Year-Old Stained Glass Broken By Man Named Jesus
This may go down as one of the most ironic crimes of all time.
Tensions are at an all-time high right now due to the Coronavirus and people are doing things they normally wouldn’t. With nothing to do in the crib, some people might be looking to get into some mischief elsewhere. Well, that’s exactly what a man by the name of Jesus Jose Arellano did recently while in North Carolina. According to TMZ, the man made his way to the Grace Moran Church where he destroyed their stained glass art piece with a huge rock. As it turns out, this stained glass has been a fixture of the church since 1925.
In the report, it states that Arellano eventually confessed to his crime and was brought up on injury to real property charges. People in the community are quite shocked about the incident and are upset about the damage that has been done to such a positive institution in their community.
What makes this even stranger is the fact that he needed to break through plexiglass before being able to break the stained glass. Clearly, he was motivated to cause some harm to the church.
As far as his name is concerned, the crime truly is a piece of ironic gold although we’re sure the churchgoers in the area would say otherwise.

Julian Edelman Goes At Nick Wright On Twitter: "Nice Hairline, Bro"
Julian Edelman and Nick Wright went at it on Twitter, Saturday, after Wright suggested the Patriots trade the wide receiver.
New England Patriots Wide Receiver Julian Edelman and Nick Wright engaged in a public beef on Twitter, Saturday, after Wright suggested the Pats should trade Edelman on his show “First Things First,” earlier this week.

“If [Lions general manager] Bob Quinn and [coach] Matt Patricia gift Tua Tagovailoa to the New England Patriots and Bill Belichick for the 23rd pick, a third-round pick and Julian bleeping Edelman, I’m out,” Wright said. “I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch this sport again because I can’t deal with the idea of it.”
In a now-deleted tweet, Edelman responded: “Nice hairline bro,” he wrote at Wright, Saturday morning.
Wright responded, referencing Edelman's past legal trouble: "Julian! Good to hear from you, in the middle of the night, responding to a week old clip. Yes, the quarantine has been bad for a number of things, not the least of which is my hair situation. Such is life. Congrats on ducking charges for the vandalism & public intox rap, tho!"
Earlier this year, Edelman was cited by Beverly Hills PD for vandalism. The wide receiver allegedly jumped on the hood of a car, which resulted in damage to the vehicle.

Tom Brady Hilariously Trolls Julian Edelman Over Recent Arrest
It's always fun when you can joke with your teammates.
Julian Edelman found himself in a bit of trouble this past weekend when he was arrested in Beverley Hills after jumping on a car and allegedly vandalizing it. Police say Edelman was intoxicated at the time and could even face charges if he doesn't make things right with the owner of the vehicle. Edelman isn't used to not playing football this time of year so perhaps this recent behavior is a manifestation of his boredom. Regardless, the incident is fairly embarrassing and we're sure Edelman would prefer to forget it ever happened.
Edelman's quarterback Tom Brady isn't so forgiving as he took to his IG story with a quick, yet hilarious troll regarding Edelman's situation. Brady showed off a bottle of his TB12 Electrolytes with the caption "@edelman11 it sounds like you need some of this."
It remains to be seen if Edelman will take up Brady on his offer. It's good to see the two can still joke with each other even after a disappointing end to their season. Brady has a huge decision to make in the offseason which could ultimately see him part ways with Edelman and the Patriots. In the meantime, hopefully Edelman can stay out of trouble.
Report: Julian Edelman Arrested For Vandalism In Beverly Hills
If only the Patriots were still in the playoffs, this wouldn't have happened.
Saturday, Julian Edelman, Patriots' wide receiver and former Super Bowl MVP, was arrested for misdemeanor vandalism, according to TMZ.
Sources in law enforcement tell TMZ that Edelman had been walking alone in Beverly Hills at 9 PM when he jumped onto a car and began damaging it. Police who were working on a nearby robbery case were flagged down and told what was happening.
Police sources also tell TMZ that it was apparent Edelman had been drinking when he was arrested.
The L.A. County D.A. will decide whether to file charges and TMZ says the case will be buried if Edelman "squares up with the owner."
Edelman and the Patriots would be playing against the Chiefs this weekend, had it not been for the Wildcard loss to the Titans last week. Edelman caught 3 catches for 30 yards in the teams' 20-13 loss. On the season, he recorded 100 receptions for 1117 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Fog clouds the Patriots' future as Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and Josh McDaniels could all either retire or be working for different teams next season. Yesterday, Brady, on the teams' future, told Jim Gray, "We are a week removed from the end of our season. There is a lot of time to figure these things out. I don't think any player or team is ready to make any commitments at this point, and I'm sure as the offseason progresses those things will take care of themselves."
