The state of Georgia made headlines on Tuesday (June 9) as it was election day. The Southern state has recently been fraught with controversy pertaining to the recent riots that broke out in the city of Atlanta. Now, it's being reported by voters that they were left standing in line for hours as polling stations had numerous problems including machines that didn't work all over the state.
Some people have accused officials of voter suppression, alleging that malicious practices were set in place to make sure black people weren't able to cast their congressional vote in the middle of civil unrest. Thousands of people took to social media platforms to share their experiences in real-time, and over on Instagram, Scooter Braun popped up on Justin Bieber's account to share split-screens with real people trying to vote.
According to Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber wanted the world to see just how people were being treated at the polls. "He is on his bus traveling across the country with his wife and right now they don't have reception so he said, 'You log onto my account and go Live with LoTasha [Brown]. Give her my platform,'" Scooter stated.
According to LaTosha and another man with her, polls were supposed to close at 7:00 p.m. and it was 11:40 p.m. at the time of their conversation. People stood in line for upwards of five hours to vote, and some are calling the entire ordeal shady. Check it out below.
George Floyd Killer Allegedly Has Illegal Voting History
Derek Chauvin was allegedly voting in Florida even though he lives in Minnesota.
Derek Chauvin is a name everyone in the United States knows now as he is the man who was caught on camera killing George Floyd. Chauvin's actions have sparked protests all throughout the country as people are hoping for answers and a change to the system. As it stands, Chauvin is facing second-degree, third-degree, and manslaughter charges that could effectively put him in jail for the rest of his life.
In a Twitter thread posted by Danny Rivero on Friday, it was revealed that Chauvin has a history of illegally voting in US elections. During the 2016 and 2018 elections, Chauvin reportedly voted in Florida despite claiming residence and paying taxes in Minnesota. While he had a home in Orange County Florida, he technically isn't allowed to vote there. This is a third-degree felony and can lead to significant jail time.
While it hasn't been determined whether or not Chauvin will face charges for these allegations, it just goes to show that some people truly believe they are above the law. President Donald Trump has been accusing Democrat voters of voter fraud but as it turns out, Republicans are just as susceptible to breaking the country's strict laws.

Get Out And Vote: 9 States Hold Primaries Today
Nine states head out to vote on Black Out Tuesday.
Now, more than ever, it is important for us to elect somebody that will actually fight for the people. As we continue to witness social unrest with protests taking place across the nation, curfews have been imposed to keep people off the streets. On top of that, the coronavirus still poses a major concern.
Some states had delayed their primary voting because of the pandemic and, today, nine states are open for voting.
District of Columbia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Montana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and South Dakota are all voting for seats in Congress today. While it is always important to be educated on politics and what’s happening in the government, it’s arguably more important than ever before for us to make our voices heard through the vote. If you’re registered to vote in any of these nine states, please find out how and where to vote and make sure to protect yourself and others by wearing a mask.
This is an important day for Joe Biden, who will likely clinch the nomination on the Democratic side. Senator Bernie Sanders has suspended his campaign, but his name will still appear on the ballot.

Joe Rogan Says He’d Vote Trump Over Biden, Goes Viral On Twitter
Joe Rogan remarks that he'd vote for Donald Trump over Joe Biden, sending Twitter into a frenzy.

“I’d rather vote for Trump than [Biden],” says Rogan. “I don’t think [Biden] can handle anything. You’re relying entirely on his cabinet. If you want to talk about an individual leader who can communicate, he can’t do that. And we don’t know what the fuck he’ll be like after a year in office.
“The pressure of being president of the United States is something that no one has ever prepared for. The only one who seems to be fine with it is Trump, oddly enough.”
Throughout the segment, Rogan and Weinstein speak about Biden's problematic mental health, which seems to be deteriorating as this campaign goes on. Many Dem-alignment Twitter users are using Rogan's quote to further the mainstream narrative that he's a conservative, while others are opining that Rogan is the exact type of swing-voter that the Dems need to win over, rather than alienate.
Rogan found himself trending for political reasons earlier this year when he endorsed Bernie Sanders for president. Traditional Dems labeled Rogan a bigot in response.

Kamala Harris Joins DNC Push & Backs Joe Biden
Biden gains more allies.
After the man who was projected to lead the DNC in November had a slow start, he is back where everyone expected him to be. Joe Biden entered the Democratic race for the presidential nomination as a favorite, but a slow start in New Hampshire, Nevada, and Iowa almost doomed his campaign. Lo and behold, Biden captured South Carolina off the strength of Black voters, and rebounded during Super Tuesday to steal the lead back from Bernie Sanders. Biden was able to pick up momentum due to Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, and Tom Steyer backing out the race and endorsing him. Now, another DNC candidate is putting their endorsement behind the former Vice President.
"There is no one better prepared than Joe to steer our nation through these turbulent times, and restore truth, honor, and decency to the Oval Office," Kamala Harris said in a statement on Sunday. "He is kind and endlessly caring, and he truly listens to the American people." Kamala is the latest, after Mike Bloomberg, to throw her support behind Biden just months after she attacked him on the debate stage for being insensitive to Black issues. With the DNC seemingly forming around Biden, does Bernie stand a chance of winning the nomination?
Killer Mike Likens Bernie Sanders To Martin Luther King Jr. & Gets Slammed Online
Killer Mike further backed his statement.
Killer Mike has been advocating for Bernie Sanders for years now. The rapper is intelligent and well-spoken, but sometimes his statements miss the mark. That's what happened this past weekend when Killer Mike compared the struggles of Martin Luther King Jr. to those of Democratic presidential nominee hopeful Bernie Sanders. The entire debacle started when Killer Mike responded to a tweet by author and Hillary Clinton supporter Zachary Wood. Wood himself was responding to a tweet by Bernie where Mr. Sanders asked the youth to get out and vote. "There’s just something about you, @BernieSanders, that pisses me off," Wood wrote.
Once he saw Wood's response, Killer Mike hit back with a screenshot of an article titled, "Even Though He Is Revered Today, MLK Was Widely Disliked by the American Public When He Was Killed." Essentially, the rapper was comparing hatred for Sanders to the anger and animosity that MLK faced while he was alive. Mike continued on to write, "Your tweet better help. Me understand I’m on the correct side of history. Thank U." Killer Mike's response received many confused and angry replies.
Killer Mike responded in kind, claiming that he has been taught by those that worked with MLK, so his opinion rules supreme.
Bill Polian Refuses To Vote Lamar Jackson To All-Pro Team
Bill Polian continues refusing to admit Lamar Jackson's talent.
After passing for a league-high 36 touchdowns, crushing Mike Vick's rushing record for a QB, and leading the Ravens to a 14-2 record, Lamar Jackson is still being slept on by Bill Polian.
It seemed like Jackson was a lock for a unanimous selection as a first-team All-Pro until the results came in and Polian, and two of his SiriusXM colleagues, chose Russell Wilson instead, as noticed by Pro Football Talk.
Polian infamously said Jackson should enter the draft as a wide receiver rather than a quarterback, an opinion he walked back as Jackson proved to be a rare talent: “I was wrong because I used the old, traditional quarterback standard with him, which is clearly why John Harbaugh and Ozzie Newsome were more prescient than I was,” he told USA Today, in November.
After throwing for a perfect passer rating in week 1 of this season, Jackson jokingly told reporters, "Not bad for a running back,” after the game.
The remaining 47 Associated Press voters all chose Jackson.
The Ravens have a first-round bye for the playoffs but will face either the Titans, Bills or Texans for the divisional round, depending on the results of this weekend's games.
That game will take place on Jan. 11.
