Waka Flocka is not down with folks looting establishments as they protest police brutality in the wake of the murder of George Floyd by officers in Minneapolis. Plenty of protestors have taken to the streets to fight for justice after footage of George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, being suffocated to death by Officer Derek Chauvin began circulating earlier this week. Many protestors have engaged in looting to show their outrage, but not everybody agrees that this act as the correct way to protest.

On Thursday (May 28th), Waka Flocka took to Instagram to encourage protestors to use a different approach. “Why trash your neighborhoods?” he wrote. “Looting is not justice that’s criminal. Stay on task!!”

However, the following morning, Waka posted a follow-up statement on his Instagram story. “Somebody told me it’s easy to say stop looting from the top of the food chain..” he wrote. “That hit my heart different!! I understand fully.” 

Waka’s not the only rapper that has shared their opinions on looting. On Friday (May 29th), Cardi B shared a statement with her followers, explaining that looting is the result of a community that is “tired” of trying to be peaceful in the face of violence. “This is what people have to resort to,” she said.

Waka Flocka has toyed with the idea of retirement for a few years and it looks like he has finally found a new life's purpose. 

The rapper took to Twitter to announce what he will be doing with his time now that he has completed all that he set out to do in music and his new mission is highly respectable.

"I’m officially dedicating my life to suicide prevention and mental illness!!!" wrote the recording artist on Twitter. "Y’all not alone Waka Flocka Flame is with y’all now!!!!"

The 33-year-old did not explain why he made the decision to take more of a focus on mental illness and suicide prevention but, with the quarantine, an increased number of people around the world have been feeling more down than usual. Waka likely recognizes that and is opening his line to anybody who needs help.

The post is garnering a large amount of support but some of the top responses are jokes about the initiative.

"Imagine calling the suicide hotline and fucking WakaFlocka answers," wrote one fan.

“I’ve gotten my breasts done and I’ve gotten lipo in my stomach, which I never should have done,” Tammy admitted. “It was the worst decision I ever made. First of all, I didn’t need it. I just decided like, you know how on the bottom you have a little something. When you have a baby that little pouch just doesn’t go away. I was like, I’m gonna suck this little pouch out. By me doing that, I felt like the fat deposited in other places.”

She said that she’s “always been bottom heavy” but now she feels as if her body is placing the fat below her waist. Tammy has been accused of getting her butt enhanced, but she stated that’s just not true. “If I could suck this sh*t out, I would. I don’t have to get a BBL, I don’t have to take—it’s crazy, even when I go to my trainers, I say, ‘I wanna lose my butt… It’s just too much butt!” Watch Tammy Rivera lament about her backside below.

All YFN Lucci wanted to do was give a shoutout to Boosie Badazz for looking out for him. The Atlanta rapper shared a photo of himself with Boosie to his Instagram, and Webbie decided to leave a comment under the picture. “N*GGAZ DID THAT AND DOING ALL THIS SH*T FOR THE BOSS NOW ..BUT WHERE THE F*CK ALL U N*GGAZ WAS,WHEN I SACRIFICED ALL MY SH*T..N TOOK CARE OF FAMILIES WHEN YOU WAS IN JAIL..JUST WONDERING.” He made it clear exactly who he was speaking to by tagging Boosie Badazz at the end of his message.

Things then escalated quickly, and Boosie wrote a lengthy reply. Earlier this year, Boosie told VladTV that he and Webbie weren’t beefing, so this random bit of tension caught everyone off guard. “U coulda call me n*gga smh truth is you NEVER sent my mother a ‘dollar’ n y’all had FREE BOOSIE concerts all over SHE NEVA GOT A DIME SMH you lyin bra,” Boosie wrote.

He stated that Waka Flocka, Yo Gotti, and Jeezy made sure that his mother was taken care of while he was locked up, but he claimed Webbie was nowhere to be found. “Everybody know I’ve tried to help you millions of times. Every time we’ve tried to get you n the studio u leave. Trill even tried gettin writers for you out bra,” Boosie continued.

“Ive tried to get you features u refuse 7500 over n over again n that’s more than your show price,” he wrote. “U want me to be like n have hate for all the artist n da game n that’s fake. The rap industry that u think hate u actually have respect for u n*gga. U THE ONE TO BLAME FOR YOUR DOWNFALL. I CANT MAKE U RAP N I CANT MAKE U HUSTLE. IT GOTA BE BORN N YA.” 

Boosie Badazz reiterated once again that Webbie didn’t help his family, calling Webbie’s claims a “bold face lie [100 percent].” Not long after this comment was made, Boosie shut down his Instagram. However, he’s back in action, ready to defend his name. Read his message in full below

It may be too late for Waka Flocka to throw his name in the hat for the 2020 election but he is still telling the world how he would spend his first day in office.

Following the tragic murder of Ahmaud Arbery, Waka Flocka believes that more of a focus should be placed on racism in the White House. A number of celebrities have spoken out about the killing of the 25-year-old, who was shot dead while jogging by two men who have not been arrested.

If we ever live to see a day where Waka Flocka runs for office, we now know what he would do on his first day.

“If I become president first thing im doing is putting in a war on racism act,” said the rapper on Instagram. “Racism to me is like terrorist, bullies, evil, and wrong doing there’s no difference from either #wakaforpresident.”

As it stands, the 2020 Presidential Election will likely see two frontrunners on the ballot in Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Waka Flocka may decide to run as an independent.

After sharing a few bits about oral sex, Tammy Rivera revealed that Waka is not interested in having a threesome. “I’m the more open one like, the more free one,” she said of their sex life. “And people would think that it’s Waka, but it’s me.” Angela wanted to know if Tammy was down for a threesome and she answered, “If he would give me one, b*tch! He won’t give me one!”

“I think it’s so selfish, because, n*gga, you had your fun,” she said. “Your whole career you done had three or four b*tches. You done had your whole little fun and I’ve been at home being a good little wife.” Tammy also said that if Waka changed his mind, she would be the one choosing the woman to join them. “You don’t pick sh*t. You just sit the f*ck down,” she joked. “I don’t think I would be down with [him choosing] because I would be like, ‘How the f*ck y’all know each other? During our weekly trips to the supermarket to stock back up on food, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes, and more, we’ve come across some pretty strange characters. People are being advised to wear masks and gloves when they step out in most areas of the country and, during one shopping trip, a woman decided to protect herself by placing a whole plastic cover over her head and shoulders. While that is meant to be the focus of the photo, which was shared by Waka Flocka, 50 Cent, and others, a background face is making more of a stir.

Lil Baby ended up sliding into the comments but he made an observation that’s impossible to unsee.

“@Jim jonescapo,” wrote Lil Baby on Instagram, clearly not knowing how to properly tag the Dipset rapper. As pointed out by many others, the man helping out the customer inside Lowe’s looks A LOT like Jim Jones. Enough so that people just can’t look at this image without pointing it out.

Of course, Jim Jones isn’t actually employed at a hardware store. He’s busy uploading his weather reports, spending time in the studio, and threatening to “super violate” Tekashi 6ix9ine. This is still pretty funny though.

Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta may have seen its fair share of arguments, but Deb Antney says that’s nothing compared to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. The VH1 series has seen a number of cast members come and go, including Deb, her son Waka Flocka, and his wife Tammy Rivera. The trio are not only currently featured on WE tv’s Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, but they all appear on Waka & Tammy: What the Flocka.

Deb Antney recently discussed the differences between the networks and why she prefers to work with producers over at WE tv. According to the music mogul, her current network allows her, along with other cast members, to be themselves while Love & Hip Hop Atlanta leaned more toward sensationalism.

“It’s very disgraceful for women,” she said of LHHATL. “It makes our men look horrible. I’m just not for it. I’m not for the drama like that.” Deb recalled watching Waka and Tammy air out their marriage struggles while on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. “It just destroyed the inside of me,” she added. “I could not function.” Meanwhile, Ms. Deb is waiting for Waka and Tammy to have a baby. She’s petitioned for the couple to welcome a child together, so we’ll just have to wait and see if her wishes come true.

Capital punishment is a topic that one typically doesn't talk about around the dinner table, but social media is ripe for discussion. On Tuesday, a brief statement about school shooting statistics caused thousands of people to join a conversation about the death penalty. Robert Klemko, an investigative sports reporter for The Washington Post, shared a tweet on Tuesday (April 14) that sparked a discussion. "Last month was the first March without a school shooting in the United States since 2002," Klemko wrote.

He also addressed a few users who shared that there weren't any Wikipedia updates to substantiate his claim. "A number of people have pointed out that the Wiki page for school shootings does not have March shootings in multiple years," he added. "This is true! It’s also true that you should never treat Wikipedia as a primary source."

Later, Hollywood Unlocked shared a screenshot of Klemko's tweet and asked their followers to weigh in on the topic. Waka Flocka jumped in the comments with his take on capital punishment. "I feel who ever shoot up a school need the death penalty no exception," the rapper wrote. He followed that up with, "But hey I'm just telling the truth."

A debate has been launched, thanks to Waka Flocka. The rapper has often taken to social media to share brief tidbits of motivation, inspiration, or just to share a few thoughts about life, in general. Just a few hours ago, he posted a message on Instagram that got tongues wagging. “Atlanta been running rap longer than any coast!! Say it ain’t so,” Waka wrote in the text image.

In the caption, Waka added, “Let’s debate this,” and readers certainly did. Many hip hop fans were quick to point out that rap originated in New York while die-hard fans of the ATL rap reign agreed with Waka’s remarks. It’s undeniable that Atlanta has become hip hop’s hotspot as artists continue to come out of the Peach State’s capital. T.I., Ludacris, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Gunna, Lil Scrappy, The-Dream, Jermaine Dupri, Young Thug, Jazze Pha, Yung Joc, Lil Yachty, Lil Jon, Soulja Boy, Childish Major, Lil Nas X, Killer Mike, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Xscape, Migos, Mulatto, and a host of others have made names for themselves in Hotlanta and beyond.
