Back in the late 2000s, Dwight Howard was seen as the man who would dethrone Shaq as the NBA's best center. Of course, Shaq was on the decline while Howard was carrying the Orlando Magic. Shaq never gave his seal of approval to Howard and instead, they were embroiled in a pretty nasty feud. These days, Shaq has a lot nicer things to say about Dwight but he still hits him with some slander every now and then.
Recently, Shaq joined Ro Parrish on NBA TV where they played a game of "start, bench, cut." Shaq was given three options, including LeBron James, Yao Ming, and Dwight. As one would imagine, Shaq chose to start LeBron but he ended up making the controversial choice to cut Howard and put Yao Ming on the bench.
Howard has accomplished a lot more in his career than Yao Ming has so for Shaq to pick the Rockets star over Howard, is insulting, to say the least. Regardless, it's not a surprising slight when you think about all of the bad blood they had over the years. If Shaq is ever presented with an opportunity to make fun of Dwight, he's going to take it and make no mistake.
When presented with these three players, let us know who you would start, bench, or cut.
Boosie Badazz’s Yao Ming Coronavirus Meme Is Dicey
Boosie Badazz shared a photo of Kevin Garnett wearing a mask as he guards Yao Ming, making light of the coronavirus fear.
When it comes to approaching topics of this nature, Boosie Badazz isn’t always the most sensitive guy. The Baton Rouge icon just ran into some harsh backlash for his thoughts on Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter, and his subsequent rant about Planet Fitness. While this situation is certainly less touchy, the coronavirus has people up in arms and, in a world where Summer Walker is getting dragged for her so-called xenophobic response to the pandemic, Boosie Badazz might want to be a little more careful.

Summer Walker and Boosie Badazz don’t necessarily share the same type of fanbase — in fact, they’re two completely different artists — but they are both feeling the heat over their posts related to the coronavirus. Getting a little too high, Boosie shared a post that shows Kevin Garnett and Yao Ming during the NBA All-Star Game, however, one pertinent detail has been added to the picture. KG is wearing a face mask.
The comments are surprisingly mixed. There are folks laughing along with Boosie Badazz’s attempt to make light of the terrifying virus, while a whole other group of people are urging him to take down the post because of its xenophobic roots. Considering his rant about Dwyane Wade’s daughter is still present on his page, we wouldn’t be surprised if Boosie kept this one up before doubling down on its message.
Stay tuned for even more craziness from the rapper, who will be debuting his reality show with HotNewHipHop very soon.
