Shaquille O'Neal's classic signature sneaker, the Reebok Shaqnosis, is reportedly making a return to retailers this year in celebration of the iconic silhouette's 25th anniversary. Among the colorways set to release is the OG black & white design, as well as a hairy, grey suede "Year of the Rat" iteration.
The Reebok Shaqnosis originally made its retail debut back in late 1995 when Shaq, then a member of the Orlando Magic, was establishing himself as one of the most dominant athletes on the planet. Appropriately named the Shaqnosis, the iconic high-tops are highlighted by a dizzying design of swirling overlays with Shaq's unmistakable logo stationed on the base of the tongue and heel.
A release date for the Reebok Shaqnosis "Year Of The Rat" has not yet been announced, but the Chinese New Year is coming up on Saturday, January 25. Needless to say, we expect the drop to take place sometime around then.

Chinese New Year is almost upon us.
Every single year, Nike comes through with a brand new Chinese New Year collection which celebrates the festive holiday. Chinese New Year is set to take place on January 25th and in 2020, we will be in the midst of the “Year of the Rat.” As expected, Nike has come through with its very own “Year of the Rat” collection which will surely pique the curiosity of sneakerheads everywhere.
One of the shoes that will be a part of the collection is the Nike Air Force 1 Low. This is a classic silhouette in the Nike arsenal so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the brand would want to come through with a CNY colorway for it. As you can see from the official images below, the sneaker is made with white leather. The upper features a textured upper with dope CNY-inspired patterns. These same patterns can be seen in the shoe’s interior which boasts a more colorful approach.

Nike Officially Unveils Its "Chinese New Year" Collection: Photos
This pack commemorates the “Year of the Rat.”
Every single year, Nike comes through with an extensive collection that is supposed to celebrate Chinese New Year. This year is being pegged as the “Year of the Rat” and Nike will be tailoring their collection to this theme. So far, we have already seen some dope colorways of the Air Jordan 34, Air Jordan 13, Air Jordan 1 Low, and even the Nike Kyrie 6. Today, Nike came through by unveiling the entire collection which will come with shoes for both men, and women.
The men will be getting the aforementioned models as well as the Air Max 1, Air Force 1 Low, Air Max 90, Air Max 720. Meanwhile, the ladies will be laced with the Air Max 90, Air Force 1 Shadow, Air Max 270 React, and Joyride Run 2. All of these shoes are incredibly colorful which is exactly what we’ve come to expect from the annual Chinese New Year collection.
