‘The Bear’ season three official release date revealed

The release date for the third season of The Bear has been confirmed as cast members share a teaser trailer on social media.

The FX drama set in a high-pressure Chicago restaurant has received critical acclaim for its first two seasons, winning numerous prestigious awards.

The series follows a professional chef who inherits his brother’s sandwich restaurant after he takes his own life. Over the course of the show, Carmy learns to manage the family business with limited funds, hires new staff, deals with his own personal struggles and reinvents the restaurant.

The end of season two showed the opening night of the reimagined restaurant named ‘The Bear’, and questions about Carmy’s love-life and family problems were left unanswered.

The previous two seasons of the comedy-drama series were highly received, with its first season receiving 13 Emmy nominations.

Several members of the cast have been recognised for their acting performances, with Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri winning Golden Globe Awards this year.

Meanwhile Ebon Moss-Bachrach won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at this year’s Emmys, joining Edebiri and Allen White in receiving acting awards at the ceremony.

The show also won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Musical Comedy in January, beating Ted Lasso and Only Murders In The Building.

In a four-star review of the second season of The Bear, NME wrote: “Rather than hone in on Carmy and his struggles, these new episodes develop the other characters further and give them a chance to grow … It’s another intense ride, but it’s served up so deliciously, you’ll definitely be craving more come the end.”

The first two seasons of The Bear are streaming now on Disney+.
