The Texas rapper and actor is currently portraying Zidler in the production for an eight-week run, marking her Broadway debut.
Her representative confirmed in a statement that Megan, 31, fell ill while performing on stage last night (Tuesday March 31).
“Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated,” they said (via Consequence).
“We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.”
Her hairstylist, Kellon Deryck, wrote on X/Twitter: “Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital.”

Further details about her condition have not yet been disclosed.
Megan (real name Megan Pete) is set to play Zidler until May 17, per the Moulin Rouge! website.

The rapper released her third and most recent studio album, ‘Megan: Act II’, in 2024. In a glowing, five-star review, NME wrote: “On ‘Act II’, Megan confirms why she’s ‘the baddest bitch out right now‘ once again.
“Despite all the adversity that has plagued her in recent years, she firmly stands atop the rap world as the princess of rap, gazing down from her pedestal while polishing her tiara – maybe there’s a coronation on the horizon very soon.”
She has since shared two singles: 2025’s ‘Whenever’ and ‘Lover Girl’. At the start of this year, Megan revealed that she was underway with “completing act three” of her albums. She said at the time that she planned to release more new music in 2026.
“The hotties just need to give me a little time,” she explained. “I’ll be in the gym and the studio – the gym and the studio.”
