All 1025 Pokémon get name-dropped in new 30th anniversary anthem

The Pokémon Company has officially announced ‘Pokémon All Stars 1025’, a brand-new anthem created to commemorate the series’ landmark 30th anniversary. The ambitious project serves as a musical tribute to the vast history of the franchise, aiming to unite fans across the globe.

‘Pokémon All Stars 1025’ is performed by the acclaimed Japanese artist Masayoshi Oishi. The track is notable for its impressive lyrical feat: it features the names of all 1025 Pokémon currently existing across the expansive universe of video games, trading cards, movies, and television series.

The massive project has been structured into five distinct parts, with the first installment of ‘Pokémon All-Stars 1025’ now available for fans to enjoy. The upbeat track highlights the Japanese names of 213 different Pokémon, ranging from iconic original favorites like Pikachu, Psyduck, and Dragonite to more contemporary additions such as Krokorok, Miraidon, and Hippopotas. While the first segment is currently live, the remaining parts of ‘Pokémon All-Stars 1025’ are scheduled for release in the near future. At this time, there has been no confirmation regarding an official English-language version of the anthem.

This release is just one component of a wider celebration. Earlier this year, The Pokémon Company captivated audiences with a video featuring Lady Gaga duetting with the singing Pokémon Jigglypuff. This initiative is part of the ‘What’s Your Favourite’ anniversary campaign, which seeks to honor the brand’s mission of bringing people together through a shared love of the franchise, celebrating a diverse and multigenerational global audience.

The campaign has already featured a star-studded lineup, including BLACKPINK’s JISOO, Trevor Noah, F1 driver Charles Leclerc, Young Miko, Lamine Yamal, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, all of whom shared their personal favorite Pokémon.

Looking ahead, the 30th-anniversary festivities will continue with a series of live events. Marshmello is set to headline two ‘Night Out’ EDM gigs in London and Los Angeles, joined by Alison Wonderland. Additionally, the company is planning four immersive, family-focused ‘Day Out’ events across France, the United States, Germany, and Mexico later this summer.
