Since its launch, Mighty Hoopla has become a cornerstone of the UK festival circuit, celebrated for its commitment to queer joy, inclusivity, and the unifying power of pop music. Organizers have promised that the 2027 edition will be the festival’s most ambitious to date.

A Decade of Pop Celebration

The festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 5, and Sunday, June 6, 2027. Robyn is slated to headline the opening night, following a performance by Kelis. The second night will see The Pussycat Dolls take the headline slot for their first-ever UK festival appearance, preceded by a set from Bebe Rexha.

The diverse bill also features performances from FLO, Nicola Roberts, Eve, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Jordin Sparks, Alcazar, and B*Witched, with further artist announcements expected in the coming months.

Reflecting on the festival’s journey, co-founder Glyn Fussell shared his pride in the community they have built. “These past 10 years have been the biggest privilege of my life. In a world that can often feel hostile and scary, we have created a celebration of life at its most joyful at Hoopla,” Fussell stated.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Co-founder Jamie Tagg recalled the festival’s humble beginnings, noting, “It’s wild to think that 10 years ago we couldn’t even get a bank loan because no one thought the festival was a good idea. Now we have some of the biggest names in music wanting to perform on our stages. Having Robyn and The Pussycat Dolls headline is a real pinch-me moment.”

In addition to the main stage, the festival will see the return of Queertopia, a dedicated space for emerging LGBTQ+ talent, and The Bump, a dance arena focused on club culture. Tickets for the 10th-anniversary celebration go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3, at 10am.
