Bruno Mars jokes that he’s nearly debt-free after performing ‘APT.’ with BLACKPINK’s Rosé

Bruno Mars has seemingly poked fun at rumours that he’s heavily in debt – see what he had to say below. READ MORE: Rosé and Bruno Mars’ ‘APT.’ is an addictively flirty and fun intro to the BLACKPINK star’s solo era On Sunday (July 13), BLACKPINK performed their second show at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. To celebrate the occasion, Rosé brought out Bruno Mars to perform their hit collaboration ‘APT.’ to close out her short solo set mid-show – you can watch footage of the performance here. Advertisement Following the performance, Mars uploaded a clip of the performance onto Instagram, which he captioned: “Almost out of debt BehhhhhBehhhhh!!! Preciate You ROSAAAAYYYYYY!!!!” The caption seemingly relates to rumours that surfaced in 2024 that the singer was $50million in debt with the MGM Grand due to gambling. The MGM Grand later denied these claims. Amid his ninth year performing a residency there, a “well-placed Vegas insider” reported that Mars “owed millions” to them from gambling. They went on to claim that Mars apparently made $90million from the deal with the casino, but after paying off his debts and taxes, takes home $1.5million per night. In their dismissal of the speculation, a spokesperson for MGM… Read More →

Eminem meets real-life ‘Stans’ in first trailer for new documentary film – watch

A new trailer for Eminem’s upcoming documentary film has been shared, with the rapper set to meet with his real-life ‘Stans’. Check it out below. News of the upcoming project was first shared back in February, when it was confirmed that the iconic rapper would be co-producing a documentary called Stans, which was based on some of his most devoted fans. Advertisement The title references the term he coined with his 2000 song of the same name. In the song, which featured Dido, Eminem raps from the point of view of a delusional fan who thinks he shares a parasocial relationship with the rapper. Now, the first trailer has dropped for the film, and it is set to be shown in select theatres for one weekend only, beginning on August 7. In the clip, the trailer opens with the official definition of “Stan”, which was added to the Oxford English Dictionary and Merriam-Webster in 2019, and is a noun used to describe “an overzealous or obsessive fan, esp. of a particular celebrity”. From there, it shows archive footage of the rapper over the years, performing to massive crowds, and over the top of the footage, fans can be heard posing… Read More →

You’re on the side of creation. And that does a lot to quell the impulse to destroy. Creativity eats darkness. Joe Perry says Aerosmith are “talking about” reuniting to play together again

Joe Perry has revealed that Aerosmith are “talking about” the possibility of reuniting for one final concert together. The rock legends announced their abrupt retirement from touring in August last year after frontman Steven Tyler suffered a serious vocal cord injury. The band’s final live show was held as part of their ‘Peace Out’ tour, which began in 2023, but only saw the band play three shows. Advertisement Tyler did return to the stage for the first time in February for a charity event that saw him sing a number of Aerosmith classics, including ‘Walk This Way’, ‘Dream On’ and ‘Sweet Emotion’. That was followed by a similar event in April that saw Tyler and Perry reunite on stage for the first time in two years. Now, in a new interview on Sirius XM’s Trunk Nation, Perry has raised the prospect of another full Aerosmith show somewhere down the line. “We’re talking about it,” he said. “I mean, except for like, anything on the calendar, we’re all alive and well, so, you know, we’ll just have to see, you know? I know there’s gotta be at least another Aerosmith gig, and I’m not looking forward to putting the set list… Read More →

Neil Young, Yusuf/Cat Stevens, Van Morrison – BST Hyde Park, London, July 11, 2025

“What a world we got, folks,” says Neil Young, before crashing into “Throw Your Hatred Down”, a 1995 anti-war song he surely hoped wouldn’t still be so horribly relevant today. Young doesn’t say much else for the duration of a gripping, intense, two-hour set, but his exasperation, anger and compassion are palpable in both his choice of songs and the way in which he plays them. Advertisement BST Hyde Park is very much the Wimbledon of music festivals, a place where it’s possible (for the right price) to watch the bands while sipping champagne on a shady terrace. With three headliners pushing 80 and temperatures into the thirties, a genteel afternoon is on the cards. But while Van Morrison doesn’t share Young’s world-changing zeal, he’s still buffeted by raging internal passions, despite having to perform from beneath a gazebo temporarily erected on the Great Oak Stage to protect him and his terrific band from the fierce afternoon sun. Lithe and dapper in purple sunglasses and a sky blue shirt to match the ribbon of his hat, lockdown gripes finally out of his system, Morrison seems like a man reborn. At the end of a show-stopping “Summertime In England”, he’s still… Read More →

It’s set for release on September 12 via Music For Nations, with the latest offering from the forthcoming album seeing them urge listeners to “hold space in your mind for Palestine” and not look away from the “attempted erasure of a people”. “Saoirse means freedom, something we are witnessing being violently denied to the people of Palestine,” Maruja shared in a statement about the five-minute track, which you can check out below. Damon Albarn has happily conceded defeat in the great battle between Oasis and Blur amid the Gallagher brothers’ massive reunion. READ MORE: Blur and Oasis’ big Britpop chart battle – the definitive story of what really happened The two groups went head-to-head in a legendary rivalry that ran throughout the height of Britpop in the 1990s, and has remained so infamous that last year it was revealed that a West End play based on the turbulent time was on the way. Advertisement The announcement of the theatre production came on the heels of both bands dominating headlines in 2024, with Blur sharing To The End – a documentary that followed their reunion and 2023 comeback album ‘The Ballad Of Darren’ – as well as their huge shows at London’s Wembley Stadium last summer. Oasis, meanwhile, shocked fans by announcing their long-awaited reconciliation and subsequent 2025 reunion tour dates, with Albarn telling The Sun his two-night stint at Wembley “will be dwarfed by their seven” in a new interview.
