A new study indicates that a living wage for people in the creative industry could boost the UK economy by £42million. Analysis from the Living Wage Foundation found that if the policy were to be introduced across the country, it would result in a pay rise for tens of thousands of jobs in the creative and cultural sectors, which in turn could result in a $41.6million injection into the UK economy. Loving tributes have been paid after it was announced that legendary bassist Mani – of Stone Roses and formerly Primal Scream – has died, age 63.
