Alice Cooper Rewards Fan Who Returned His Lost Credit Card
Rock icon Alice Cooper recently found himself in a relatable predicament after losing his credit card at a gas station in the Payson area of Arizona. However, the situation took a positive turn thanks to the integrity of a local resident named Geoff Guy, who discovered the card and took immediate action to ensure its safe return.
Rather than simply discarding the card or attempting to use it, Guy reached out to Cooper’s Phoenix-based charity, the Alice Cooper Solid Rock Teen Center. His efforts proved successful, and the card was returned to the legendary musician on Monday, June 8, just days before he was scheduled to depart for his European tour.
To express his gratitude, Cooper presented Guy with a signed copy of his latest studio album, The Revenge Of Alice Cooper. Reflecting on the encounter, Guy told 12News, “The guy is a legend for people of my generation, that’s for sure, and I’m really glad I could help get it back to him.” The two appeared together in a local news segment, where Cooper thanked Guy for making “a good call” before heading off to his tour dates.
This act of kindness comes at a busy time for the rocker. Beyond his touring schedule, Cooper has recently announced a “definitive autobiography” titled Devil On My Shoulder, which is slated for release on October 8 via Ebury Spotlight. The memoir promises an intimate look at his storied career, featuring anecdotes involving iconic figures such as John Lennon, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, and Andy Warhol.
To celebrate the book’s release, Cooper will embark on a UK-based Q&A tour this October, with stops in Cardiff, Cambridge, London, Brighton, Manchester, Stockton, Glasgow, and Wolverhampton. Fans can purchase tickets for the tour, which include a copy of the memoir, through official channels.
Before the book tour commences, Cooper remains active on the festival circuit, with a scheduled performance at the 2026 Louder Than Life festival alongside acts like My Chemical Romance, Iron Maiden, and Tool.
