Carnage Drops Massive Collab with Tyga, Ohgeesy & Takeoff

Carnage just dropped “Hella Neck,” a brand new, heavy-hitting hip hop cut featuring Tyga, Ohgeesy and Takeoff.


Sometimes less is more and Carnage demonstrates that here with a triumphant yet tasteful beat that backs each rapper’s bars to sheer perfection. Though the DJ/producer is known for in-your-face productions, some of his best work is more leaned back, as we hear in this case.

If this massive collaboration with Tyga, Ohgeesy and Takeoff is any indication, Carnage is on pace to have an insane 2020. Having already worked with some of hip hop’s finest — Gucci Mane, Thirty Rack, G-Eazy, Wiz Khalifa, Young Thug, Meek Mill and the list goes on — we can’t wait to hear what else is in store.

Oliver Heldens Proves Once Again He's "The G.O.A.T." with New Mesto Collab

Oliver Heldens is starting off 2020 right with a brand new single “G.O.A.T.”


The sound we know and love Heldens for is back in action, as he leads us into a new decade along with Mesto. “G.O.A.T.” rocks an upbeat, four on the floor groove matched with classic rave synths and a thick bassline. Chords strike at just the right moments, working in all the feels before dropping it again.

Last year brought a steady wave of new music from Heldens, including “Turn Me On” with Riton featuring Vula and “Lift Me Up” with Firebeatz and Schella featuring Carla Monroe. It seems there’s no slowing down for the producer and his Heldeep Records.

Jauz Drops New Single With TYNAN From Forthcoming EP, "Bring Em Back"

The Dangerous Waters EP from Jauz is due out next week, January 17, and we’ve just gotten another wild and crazy good track from the project, courtesy of a collaboration with TYNAN, “Bring Em Back.”


In this latest installment, we see Jauz go back to his classic bass house sound with a bit of an acid twist. Starting off with that always-recognizable synth that everyone knows from Kill Bill, which reemerges at various point in the track, an anthemic instrumental build leads us into the addictive drop.

2020 is shaping up to be a stand-out year for Jauz, beginning the New Year with a live virtual concert experience Dangerous Waters in partnership with Wave, where he debuted the first look at the Dangerous Waters EP, showed-off the new tour production for his headlining tour including stand-out piece ‘The Fin’, and took gamers into an once-in-a-lifetime underwater virtual experience filled with unique sea creatures, shark attacks, and more! Gearing up to reveal the full Dangerous Waters EP on January 17th and kicking-off the 39-date US tour on January 18th, Jauz will be bringing many more surprises into the new year and tickets for the tour are still available for purchase here.

Kodak Black Dying To Do Joint Album With Drake: "I Am Your Biggest Fan Sir"


Kodak is a confirmed Drake stan.

Kodak Black may be behind bars at the moment, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t browsing social media from time to time. The South Florida rapper was perusing Instagram on Friday, when he came across a photo of one of his idols, Drake, and decided to show his love for the “Life Is Good” rapper.

Drake shared two photos of himself in a post on January 4th wearing a white Nike hat and showing off his recently pierced ears. Of course, since Kodak doesn’t have access to IG at all times, he didn’t see the photos until 6 days later on January 10th. Despite the fact that Mr. Champagne Papi has plenty of more recent posts, Kodak chose to share his feelings on this one. “I Am Your Biggest Fan Sir. I Love Your Music Sir,” he wrote in the first comment, followed by a separate comment stating, “If We Can’t Do A Whole Album Together, I Never Want To Do A Song With You Sir.” The love and respect is definitely mutual for Drake, as he gave Kodak immense praise when he dropped his album, Dying To Love, back in 2018 before he was sentenced to forty-six months in prison in November on charges related to obtaining firearms illegally. In December, Kodak shared an awful story from his time in jail in which he claimed to have been laced with drugs by prison staff and kept in solitary confinement in abhorred conditions.

Clot x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Rose Gold" Drops Soon: Detailed Photos


Clot and Nike always come with some fire.

Nike had a dominant 2019 and in 2020, they will be certainly looking to build on all of their success. At the tail end of last year, Nike came through with a pair of Air Force 1 Low collabs with one of their favorite partners in crime, Clot. These Air Force 1 Low colorways were extravagant as there was both a black and blue version with gorgeous silky patterns on the upper. From there, a white midsole and gum bottom helped round out the features. This time around, Nike and Clot are back at it again, this time with a “Rose Gold” colorway.

This shoe has the same pattern as the first two colorways, except this time, the silky material is a beautiful shade of pink. Thanks to @kickwhoshow, we now have some detailed images of what the shoe will look like both in hand and on foot. The lowkey shade of pink allows this sneaker to be quite versatile. It can go with various different outfits and will be a dope addition to any collection.

Nitti Gritti Drops New "What A Time To Be Alive" EP With Shaq, Ookay, FuntCase & More

The wait is finally over — Nitti Gritti’s new EP, What A Time To Be Alive, is finally here. Ever since he dropped “Takin’ Over” with Shaq last November, the EP has been on the horizon.


Now, with five tracks and collaborations with Shaq, Ookay, FuntCase, and Yako, the full EP is here and it’s absolutely stunning. Nitti shows off his versatility as a producer, offering up five distinct and impressive bass tracks that all hit a little different.

Of course, teaming up with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal on “Takin’ Over,” which itself is a hilarious track with Shaq’s adlibs, and FuntCase on “To Death,” definitely helps.

Shaggy Says He Declined Collaborating With Rihanna For "R9"


Shaggy didn’t want to “audition” to be apart of the project.

We’re still waiting on the arrival of Rihanna‘s R9, an album that seems to be put on hold indefinitely at this point. While RihRih’s been building the Fenty empire in the past few years, we’ve yet to hear much music from her. We do, however, know a few things about the project including the direction she’s taken with the album. She’s tapping into a more dancehall/reggae sound for this album and enlisting some heavy hitters in the scene to help bring it to life.

One of the people that was reportedly reached out to was Shaggy. In a recent interview, the international reggae star revealed that Rihanna’s peeps had reached out to him for a collab on R9 but he ended up declining. His reason? He didn’t feel the need to audition for it.

“They approached me for the Rihanna project, yeah. There’s a lot of great people involved, but for me, I didn’t need to audition to be on the record. I’ll leave that to younger guys,” he said. “But from what I hear, it should be good.”

She previously shared details in a cover with Vogue, explaining that the direction of reggae just feels right. “It’s in my blood. It doesn’t matter how far or long removed I am from that culture, or my environment that I grew up in; it never leaves. It’s always the same high. Even though I’ve explored other genres of music, it was time to go back to something that I haven’t really homed in on completely for a body of work,” she said.

The Neptunes Reveal Possible Collabs With Jay Z, Lil Nas X, Lil Uzi Vert, & More


The Neptunes tease possible collaborations with Jay Z, Lil Nas X, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.

The musical genius of production duo Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams, also known as The Neptunes, is undeniable. The two masterminds have curated, crafted, and polished their own distinct sound that has led them to multiple platinum plaques, a Grammy Award for Producer of the Year (2004), and world-renowned success. Now, after taking a brief hiatus to work on individual ventures, Chad Hugo has revealed in a new interview with Clash that The Neptunes are back in the studio full-time producing music for artists like Jay Z, Lil Nas X, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. 

While speaking with the music publication Hugo dropped a bombshell revealing that Williams and he were working with some of the hottest musicians in the game as well as a video game soundtrack. Hugo stated the following:

“I’m focusing on The Neptunes stuff, getting back on The Neptunes grind. We’re doing a couple of things. There’s a videogame soundtrack that’s in the works right now that I can’t speak about, I’m not supposed to, but uh, it’s in the works right now. We just did some work with Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, Blink 182, Lil Uzi Vert, Brandy, Ray-J, Snoh Alegra, G-Eazy…”

The unaging producer extraordinaire, Pharrell also added some gracious words directed at his production partner Chad Hugo, stating:

“He’s himself. He’s a Savant. Being around him only makes everyone else better. He radiates genius. He’s been that way since I met him in the beginning band at 12 years old.”

It came as a shock to many back in May 2017, when Chad revealed that he was stepping away from music indefinitely. However, with a mind driven to create, true Neptunes and N*E*R*D enthusiasts knew that Hugo couldn’t stay away from the studio for long. With The Neptunes recently landing a nomination for the Songwriters Hall of Fame and releasing a collaborative effort alongside Metro Boomin, the duo is back in the limelight and looking to make some major moves in the new year. Zeds Dead & Ganja White Night’s Highly Anticipated Collab Is Here At Last [MUST LISTEN]

Five days until the WE ARE DEADBEATS, VOL 4 compilation drops, and Zeds Dead just unleashed one of the most anticipated new singles from the project, “Dead Of Night” with Ganja White Night.


“Dead Of Night” marks the seventh single from the compilation. With the frequency of these single releases, it might not even be the last. But the vibe on this one is undeniable, bringing two powerful bass duos into the studio and pumping out this masterpiece.

A lot of comments are saying it sounds better live, which I’d have to agree with, just because of the sound system all of those low tones demand. That being said, it’s good to have it in our hands.

Zeds Dead x Ganja White Knight’s Collab Is Finally Coming Out

The new compilation from Zeds Dead and Deadbeats, WE ARE DEADBEATS (Vol. 4) drops one week from today on January 14 and we couldn’t be more excited. Collaborations with Subtronics, Dion Timmer, Jauz, Delta Heavy, Jauz, and DROELOE have already seen the light of day, but there are seven more coming.


Among them is “Dead Of Night,” the Canadian duo’s second collaboration with Ganja White Night, following 2018’s “Samurai.” They just teased the collab on Twitter today and it’s getting our blood pumping for sure.

You’re likely to see a bunch of these teasers in the week leading up to the compilation’s full release. In the meantime, check out the teaser below!
