To think this all began because Keyshia Cole didn't like O.T. Genasis's remix of her song. The beef between these two continues to climb now that Keyshia's sisters have become involved in the war of words. Things seemed to have simmered down until Keyshia said she would vote for 21 Savage in an R&B battle between the Atlanta rapper and O.T. Genasis. Then, things kicked off later when O.T. made comments about Keyshia's private area. He would later claim that he was just joking and things were going too far, but Keyshia's sister Neffeteria "Neffe" Pugh wasn't quite finished giving him a piece of her mind.

That caused O.T. Genasis to throw some crude jabs at their mother, Frankie Lons, who is currently in rehab to help with her addictions. Neffe isn't the only sister who has a few thoughts for the rapper, as Elite Noel has come forward with an onslaught of harsh comments aimed for both O.T. and his baby mama, Malika Haqq.
"Hey otgenasis you said you don’t like street b*tches and hoes and drug addics but ya baby mama been suckin d*ck in and out the Hollywood hills for decades ....... black d*ck , white d*ck , small d*ck , big d*cks.... skinny d*cks , fat d*cks , rich d*cks poppin pills ? like they Tylenol’s !!!!!!!!!!" she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Malika and their newborn son. "I want all the smoke bout my mama ...... and since I can’t catch him U gotta take the licks @malika and it’s not about keyshia nor neffe because they can handle they own ..... but my mama ...... that’s out wit me..... all bets are off! (We fuss and fight wit Frankie cause we love her , never on some hateful sh*t ! Gettin on social media jokin bout sellin my mama crack is some hateful sh*t! So now his family not exempt) and I ain’t talkin bout his baby nor his other kids ....I’m talkin bout his b*tch.... any of em....all of em ....line em tf up.""

Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Mother Adrienne Talks Recovery & Past Heroin Addiction
Jada Pinkett-Smith joined her mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones on “Red Table Talk” where they discussed addictions & recovery during this quarantine.
Many people may find themselves bored during this quarantine, but others are struggling to maintain. Whether they’re facing mental health issues or dealing with steps in recovery from addictions, being under lockdown is a mountain that many can’t climb on their own. Red Table Talk discussed a few of these topics with Adrienne Banfield-Jones, mother to Jada Pinkett-Smith and grandmother to Willow Smith. Adrienne was once again candid about her past drug addiction and shared how she’s been coping during this COVID-19 quarantine.
“As some of you may know, Gammy was a heroin addict and has been in recovery now for…how long?” Jada asked her mother. Adrienne replied, “Twenty-nine years. I celebrated 29 years in December so I’m in my 30th year… It’s been a long time since I’ve had to rely on going to meetings daily. The quarantine, believe it or not, actually put me back into going to meetings.”
She may be decades into her recovery, but that doesn’t mean that Adrienne doesn’t have a support system. She shared that her sponsor contacted her just in case this quarantine was a stressor and told her about online gatherings. “I went to my old homegroup back in Baltimore. I’m telling you, it was such a good feeling,” she said.
Jada also chatted with Entertainment Tonight about her mother’s recovery. “She just has some really veteran, useful tips in regards to how to stay clean, how to stay connected, and what to do. ...It’s like I always tell people, ‘Never judge the journey you’ve been on because once you get through on the other side, you’re gonna have so much to offer other people who are going through it as you once had.” Watch the clip of red Table Talk below.
Fredo Bang Talks Juice WRLD Overdose & Says Everybody Needs Therapy
Fredo Bang also added that President Trump may want to fight the opioid crisis but all it does is make fake pills circulate on the streets.
We’ve lost a number of artists recently to drug-related deaths including Lil Peep, Mac Miller, Lexii Alijai, and reportedly Juice WRLD. The growing list has caused rap artists to take a long, hard look at their lyrical content as it pertains to drug use. Some have even pledged to stop rapping about popping pills and drinking lean, while others have vocalized that while they don’t promote drug use, they still intend to talk about it in their songs.
When Fredo Bang, who once regularly drank lean, sat down with Vlad TV, he shared his thoughts on his generation of artists’ addiction issues. “I feel like a lot of us need help out here,” Fredo said. “Therapy. A lot of us have disorders and stuff that we don’t know of. I feel like everybody should be evaluated at some point in they life. Early on. Especially if you go through something.”
“The Juice WLRD thing, it’s real sensitive because it was like, a bad way,” he added. “I feel like a lotta people… It’s the way… I took it as he took it to get rid of them because the police was there.” Vlad interjected to share the circumstances around Juice WRLD’s death once again. “It’s sad,” the rapper said. Even though Fredo Bang had never met the Chicago rapper, he still admitted that “Juice WRLD was one of my favorite artists.”
“That’s what makes it a hurtful situation because it wasn’t like, I think dude was supposed to have got clean,” Fredo said. “I don’t know. It wasn’t like he was just taking them and getting loaded. He did it to not go to jail.” Fredo Bang added that “[President] Trump doing the opioid stuff” has caused there to be “a lotta fake pills” to be manufactured and distributed on the streets.
He said that people support Trump wanting to tackle the opioid crisis, “but they don’t know that it’s causing the reaction of fake pills people worse than the actual pills.” Check out the rapper with Vlad TV below.
Demi Lovato’s Eating Disorder Relapse Led To Overdose
Demi Lovato revealed on Ashley Graham’s “Pretty Big Deal” podcast that her over-exercising and extreme dieting was actually a relapse from her eating disorder, and ultimately led to her near-fatal overdose in 2018.
Demi Lovato has gained some perspective on how all her demons coincide, as she explained on Ashley Graham’s podcast, “Pretty Big Deal,” that eventually, relapsing from her eating disorder by over-exercising and heavily dieting would come to play a part in her near-fatal overdose in 2018. Demi has been very open about her struggles with alcohol, cocaine, and Oxycontin addiction as well as bulimia, and she firther addressed all of these issues on Graham’s podcast on Tuesday.
“I’m tired of running myself into the ground with workouts and extreme dieting,” Demi expressed. “I thought the past few years was recovery from an eating disorder, when it actually was just completely falling into it. And I just realized that, like, maybe my symptoms weren’t as obvious as before, but it was definitely an eating issue.” Demi further explained how elements like her disordered eating habits as well as her toxic environment led to her overdose a year-and-a-half-ago, which nearly killed her.

“I think when you have certain people around you that are telling you certain things, that you should look a certain way, it makes it harder. I was in that situation, and I was just running myself into the ground. And I honestly think that’s kind of what led to everything happening over the past year. [It] was just me thinking I found recovery when I didn’t, and then living this kind of lie and trying to tell the world I was happy with myself when I really wasn’t.”

Demi spent two weeks in the hospital after nearly losing her life, before entering a long-term treatment centre. The singer made her comeback at the Grammys last month, where she performed her new song, “Anyone,” that she wrote just a few days before she overdosed. “[‘Anyone’] represented that period in my life when everything hit the fan,” she told Andy Cohen on his radio show following her incredible Grammys performance. “I thought if I ever come back from this—I was in the hospital, I didn’t know—if I ever come back from this, if I end up going back to music and I’m onstage and I get a first performance, I want it to be at the Grammys and I want it to be this song.” Following her powerful Grammys moment, Demi had the honour of singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.
"Mighty Ducks" Child Star Shaun Weiss Arrested On Charges Of Burglary & Meth
He’s faced a number of struggles in recent years.
In Hollywood, it’s not uncommon to see child actors grow up to be adults who often are in trouble with the law. If they don’t find themselves behind bars, many former child actors deal with emotional or mental issues, or possibly drug or alcohol addictions. Often, it’s all of the above. The thrust into fame at a young age is something children struggle coping with, especially if as they grow older they find it difficult to maintain the level of celebrity they held as a youngster.
Matt Winkelmeyer / Stringer / Getty ImagesShaun Weiss was a comedic actor in his younger days, picking up roles on The Cosby Show, Boy Meets World, Freaks and Geeks, City Guys, Webster, Charles in Charge, and most notably as Greg Goldberg in The Mighty Ducks series. However, in recent years, the 40-year-old has made headlines for his troubles with law enforcement more than his acting career. In August 2018, he was taken into custody for public intoxication. Four months later, he was arrested for shoplifting.
It was reported on Wednesday (January 29) that Weiss was once again put in jail. On Sunday (January 26), the former actor was arrested in Marysville, California, around 7:00 a.m. on charges of residential burglary and being under the influence of a controlled substance. It’s believed that he was high on methamphetamine. According to police, Weiss broke into a garage before shattering the window of the car inside. The owner of the home heard the noise and called police who, upon arrival, found Weiss sitting inside of the vehicle. His bail has reportedly been set at $52,500.
Clive Davis Plans Whitney Houston Biopic Because Her Story "Has Not Been Told Yet"
Angela Bassett directed a biopic for Lifetime in 2015.
Lifetime’s biopic about Whitney Houston wasn’t as well-received by fans as the network had hoped. The film was directed by Angela Bassett, Whitney’s Waiting to Exhale co-star, and was centered around Whitney and ex-husband Bobby Brown’s tumultuous relationship. The 2015 film, which starred Yaya DaCosta and Arlen Escarpeta as the lead roles, earned several nominations, but when it came to public approval, some criticisms were downright vicious.
Kevork Djansezian / Staff / Getty Images“I consider it a gift that was given to me, the opportunity to tell this story and try to tell it with love and compassion and dignity,” Bassett shared with HuffPost Live following backlash over the film. “I, like, everyone adored her.” Some have called for Hollywood to embark on another biopic about the life and death of the music icon, and it looks as if Clive Davis is stepping up to the plate.
The 87-year-old music executive is responsible for discovering some of the greatest talents that the music industry has to offer, including Whitney Houston. He founded both Arista and J Records and served as president of Columbia Records before later taking on the title of CEO of RCA Music Group. Currently, he’s the CCO of Sony Music Entertainment.
Every year, Davis hosts his annual pre-Grammy party, and in 2012, it was scheduled to go on like clockwork. Whitney was supposed to perform at the February 11, star-studded get-together, but instead, she was found dead in her Beverly Hilton Hotel bathroom. Davis recently shared with the Los Angeles Times that he plans on producing a biopic about his late friend because “the story of Whitney Houston has not been told yet.”
He shared with the publication that he was “very disappointed” with two documentaries about Whitney that were released in 2017 and 2018 because he doesn’t feel as if her “genius” has been highlighted outside of scandal. He added that he doesn’t plan on “whitewashing” her addiction issues and even her alleged secret romance with best friend Robyn Crawford may get a mention.
We’ll have to wait and see if this ever comes to fruition, but if so, who do you think should tackle the role of Whitney Houston?
Lil Nas X Reveals His Mother Is An Addict: "We Don’t Have The Closest Relationship"
He tried to get her into rehab but claims it “didn’t quite work out.”
He’s a rookie in the music scene, but Lil Nas X has made history. He’s broken Mariah Carey‘s record for the longest-running No. 1 song on the Billboard 100 chart, and although the “Old Town Road” hype has dissipated in recent months, the song is an unforgettable milestone for the 20-year-old artist.
Emma McIntyre / Staff / Getty ImagesThe 62nd annual Grammy Awards will take place this Saturday (January 26) in Los Angeles, and Lil Nas X has received his first nominations—six, to be exact. He recently caught up with Variety to chat about his quick rise to stardom while sharing a few unknown facts about his background. “So much happened during my rise,” X said of artists like Nipsey Hussle, XXXTentacion, and Juice WRLD dying. “You know, drugs and murders. And my grandmother passing [in 2018]— she was the first person close to me who died. It was devastating. And it made me a hypochondriac: I’d wake up, heart racing. It was scary.” That caused him to “[smoke] [weed] heavily, but then I started feeling more connected with the universe, and taking everything as a sign.”
Lil Nas X also shared that while he was one of the most talked-about artist of 2019, he was secretly attempting to get his mother into rehabilitation. “I never really talk about my mom. She’s an addict so we don’t have the closest relationship,” he said. “Even trying to get her better — things didn’t quite work out. But there’s still love… The biggest surprise of becoming globally famous? On the outside, everybody loves you — but on the inside, everything [feels] the same.”
Back in September 2019, he announced that he was taking a break from music after he canceled two festival appearances. “I wanted to do more performances last year, but it didn’t go as planned and I didn’t have confidence,” he said. The time off wasn’t particularly helpful. “I would start to overthink it all and I’d get overwhelmed. Like, what song should I put out next? Or should I put out multiple songs? Or how do I prove this person wrong?”
Make sure to tune into the Grammys this weekend to see if Lil Nas X takes home any trophies. In the meantime, swipe through below to check out a few images from his Variety feature.
Orlando Brown’s Baby Mama Says His "Lack Of Attention" Is Why He’s "Trolling"
She doesn’t blame his behavior on drugs or mental illness.
It’s been an interesting ride for Orlando Brown over the last few years. The child star is well known for his roles on That’s So Raven and The Proud Family, but his struggles with addictions as an adult have taken center stage over his career. He shared with Dr. Phil that his addiction issues have caused him to hit rock bottom, but Brown has asserted that he’s now clean and in recovery.
Even so, the actor-rapper’s recent antics have been a cause for concern from the public. There have been some strange posts made to his social media pages, but on Wednesday (January 22), a video surfaced from Worldstar showing Brown making wild accusations against Nick Cannon. “You want me to tell everybody? You want me to let everybody know what happened?” Brown asked. “Nick, I let you suck my d*ck. Okay? Fine, I said it. I let Nick suck my d*ck. And I liked it, it was okay. Nick, you sucked my d*ck. But everybody knows you did it as a female.”
The public commentary has been overwhelming, and even Cannon came forward to offer prayers for Brown. Now, the mother of Brown’s son has come forward to share her thoughts on his behavior. “I worked in Hollywood a long ass time. I know a lot of people, lotta personalities, and have seen and heard a lot of sh*t,” she said. “But this sh*t right here? I be so surprised to hear even the people, the Hollywood people like, bruh what? Y’all gotta knock it off. It’s not just drugs, mental illness that make a motherf*cka behave the way that you’re seeing. It’s attention. It’s lack of attention.”
Omena added that Brown is saying these outlandish things for “shock value, for reaction, for response.” She doesn’t think it’s right that when Brown acts out, the public begins to bash his family and friends as if they aren’t there for him while blaming Hollywood for any of his issues. “Knock it the f*ck off! This is not Hollywood,” Omena continued. “He been doing this sh*t since post-show, well after the show. So you can’t blame Hollywood because there was no Hollywood in-between him leaving the show and doing the crazy sh*t. Where? You mean it’s the lack of Hollywood in his life. It’s the lack of real contracts. It’s the lack of people actually buying the music that he’s putting out and is good. So now he’s reaching for the stars and y’all wanna reach for the family.”
Watch Omena’s full response to Orlando Brown’s antics below and hear why she says he’s “trolling out of desperation.” You can also read her caption where she tells everyone to support his projects.
Wifisfuneral Called Russ A "Trash Rapper" Due To Insensitivity Over Lil Peep
He said Russ called people with drug addictions “losers.”
In their series Arts & Raps, All Def Music features a rap artist who answers questions from kids as they break out the crafts and spark conversation. On Wififuneral’s February 2018 episode, he was asked who he thinks is a “trash rapper.” Without much hesitation, the New York artist said “Russ,” and thus ignited a back-and-forth feud between the two.
Russ later sat down with Joe Budden for his Pull Up series and spoke about the beef. “[Wifisfuneral] is one of these rappers, I’ve never met,” he said. “I don’t know you and you’re talking sh*t. It’s kinda one of those things where like you’re joining in on, ‘Oh wait, we’re all making fun of Russ. Cool, here’s my joke too.’ You don’t realize there are consequences to that.”
In a recent chat with VladTV, Wifisfuneral was asked why he mentioned Russ’s name in the first place. According to the rapper, it all stemmed from Russ’s alleged insensitive remarks and behavior toward Lil Peep after the late rapper’s overdose. “I think he’s very misconstrued on what exactly my issue is with him,” Wifi began. “I really don’t got a problem with his music at all. I personally, from the bottom of my heart, I don’t really care for his music. I know he doesn’t care for mine, so we don’t lose on that end at all. Second of all, I never knew that somebody would feel so offended by my words. Never thought that I would have that much power to offend somebody.”
“Third of all, the reason why I actually said that was not because it was a trend and not because you know, people were at the time saying like, ‘Oh, f*ck Russ.‘ Imma drug addict. Straight up and down. We’re just gon’ address it like that,” Wifi said, before adding that Russ’s anti-drug Twitter rant following Peep’s death upset him. Russ also reportedly wore a shirt that said, “How much Xans and Lean do you have to do before you realize you’re a f*cking loser.”
Wifi continued, “So you mean to tell me that people who have problems like me, people who have problems like Peep, people who have problems like, you know…we’re legit losers? So me expressing my pain because every form or way that I’ve tried to do it is just not working for me, I’m a loser for that? Alright, well f*ck you then.” Watch his full explanation below.
