While Lil Baby's sophomore album, My Turn, has experienced a few delays, we were never left in desperate need of new music from him for long. Lil Baby is extremely prolific, popping up as a feature on everyone else's songs when he's not dropping his own singles. The two most recent singles we've received from the Atlanta rapper are "Woah" and "Sum 2 Prove". Based on how hard they're hitting, Lil Baby is living up to the mission statement he set for his forthcoming project. "I called it My Turn 'cause I feel like everybody else had a lil' turn," he said on IG Live a few months back. "It's my turn now. Everybody dropped their mixtapes, their albums - go number 1, number 2, number 3."
We already knew that My Turn was coming in February, but Lil Baby just specified its exact release date: February 28. The album will be released through Quality Control Music and Motown Records. Lil Baby also revealed My Turn's lovely cover art at the beginning of this month, which you can see below. With all the pieces now in place, there's nothing left for us to do but wait.
This week, Lil Baby shared the music video for his song, "Catch The Sun", which appeared on the Queen & Slim soundtrack.
Gunna Teases New Release Coming In February
Gunna is doing his part to keep 2020 going strong.
It's not even February yet and 2020 has already brought new albums from Eminem and Lil Wayne (Funeral this Friday) into the mix. Perhaps it's the willingness to make an impression on the new decade and define some of the early sonic trends. Either way, fans have all the reason to believe that it's going to be a fruitful musical harvest. And judging from his latest tweet, Gunna is gearing up to do his part.

Though keeping things relatively close to the chest, the beloved melodist has officially unveiled stage one of his master plan. Which is to say, release "something" in February. Though it's possible he'd be teasing a new single this far in advance, the more likely choice is that Gunna is gearing up to drop his Drip Or Drown 2 follow-up. He has been extra prolific lately, and it will be interesting to see what he's cooked up since his debut album hit last February.
Are you looking forward to new music from Young Gunna? And what does this mean for Young Thug's Punk, another YSL project that's allegedly slated for a February release?
Nike Air Force 1 Low "Black History Month" Coming Soon: First Look
Nike is doing something a little different with these.
Every single year, Nike celebrates Black History Month by coming out with a plethora of sneakers with similar colorways. The swoosh brand chooses a wide variety of silhouettes and they typically sell out within a few weeks. Sneakerheads typically anticipate February because it means a whole bunch of new sneakers are on the way. In 2020, Nike’s efforts will be continued and thanks to @solebyjc, we now have some images of the brand’s first BHM shoe of the year.
As you can see from the photos below, the Nike Air Force 1 Low will be a part of the Black History Month pack. The base of the shoe is black while red, green, blue, and yellow are sprinkled throughout. From there, strings can be seen hanging from the red Nike swoosh all while the insole has BHM branding. Nike is looking to switch up their aesthetics this year and this latest BHM shoe is an example of that. It remains to be seen whether or not the pack is a success although fans are already intrigued by these new images.
Stay tuned for updates on this sneaker as we will be sure to bring them to you. Let us know in the comments if you like these and whether or not you plan on copping.
