Eminem was definitely impressed by Biz Markie for partaking in the #GodzillaChallenge, but unfortunately, professional rappers aren't allowed to compete for the prize. Em's #GodzillaChallenge has been gaining traction this week ever since he announced the launch through the Triller app on Tuesday. Fans can compete to win a repost from the rapper as well as additional prizes by posting a video of themselves perfectly spitting his insane, rapid-fire verse on the contest's Juice WRLD-featured title track, "Godzilla," off of Em's album, Music To Be Murdered By.

The Stans have been flooding his mentions with their own attempts this week, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Bizzy Bone even took a stab at it. On Thursday, LL Cool J tagged Em in a tweet sharing a clip of Biz Markie participating in the #GodzillaChallenge during his visit to LL's Rock The Bells Radio station.
"Yo Em!!! Ya manz man Bizmarkie ain’t playing with this Godzilla challenge!!!" he tweeted. "@BizMarkie getting it done!!!" Em took notice of Biz's efforts, but jokingly pointed out that he's overqualified.
"Yo biz!!" he replied. "U bodied this!! But this contest is 4 amateurs only!! Ha!!" Seems fair enough, but you can't blame the man for trying.
Bizzy Bone Tries Hand At Eminem’s #GODZILLA Challenge
As one of the fastest rappers in the game, Bizzy Bone has decided to try out Eminem’s #Godzilla Challenge.
Bizzy Bone, who first rose to prominence as part of the legendary crew Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, is easily one of the fastest rappers of all time. For anyone doubting his ability, songs “Thug Luv” and “Notorious Thugs” reveal the dazzling depth of his flow; check them out should you need a refresher course. Alas, it’s been a minute since Bizzy has been chopping at rapid-fire speeds, and in the interim Eminem has come through to seize the crown as the game’s fastest spitter. As it happens, Em’s open invitation to participate in the #Godzilla challenge was exactly the sort of bat signal Bizzy needed.

In a video uploaded to his Jam TV channel, Bizzy opens by shouting out the “little homie” Eminem. “Anybody down with Dr. Dre, down with Ice Cube, part of the whole Mo Thug family is immediately cousins, brothers, and relatives,” says Bizzy. “I finna take the ‘Godzilla’ challenge, I been getting too many calls.” After indulging in a vegan feast, Bizzy once again shouts out Eminem and proceeds to step into the booth.
Unlike many who have been spitting Em’s climactic verse verbatim, Bizzy switched up the rules and simply aimed to surpass the syllable count. Rather than spitting live, he plays back an acapella verse recorded for the occasion and deadpans the camera while his machine-gun bars rattle off. Off the bat, it doesn’t appear that Bizzy’s speed is enough to match Em’s, but it stands as a valiant effort all the same. Suffice it to say, the Bone Thug legend clearly still has what it takes to chop with the best of them. Check it out for yourself below and sound off — who is capable of hitting higher speeds? Eminem or Bizzy Bone?
Eminem Launches #Godzilla Challenge On His Triller Debut
Eminem didn’t quite hop on TikTok yet but he did join jumper where he launched the “Godzilla Challenge” in support of the Juice WRLD-assisted single.
When you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. That appears to be what’s running through Eminem‘s mind after realizing just how much the rap game has shifted since his reign on top. As the rap game continues to use platforms like TikTok and Triller continue to dictate the charts and how music is consumed, Eminem took to Twitter where he announced the #GodzillaChallenge. No, this one doesn’t come with dance. Instead, the Music To Be Murdered By artist is offering a repost and other prizes for those who tackle his speedy verse on the track word-for-word on the social media platform.
“Godzilla” has already seen massive success since the release of Music To Be Murdered By. For one, it became Juice WRLD’s first number-one single in the UK and made waves on the Billboard Hot 100, although it’s yet to actually hit number. With a music video on the way and the newly launched #GodzillaChallenge, Eminem seemingly has things in place to take the song to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
“Godzilla” has already broken records. A few days after its release, Em broke a new record after rapping 229 words in 30 seconds. This beats out the record that he previously held with “Rap God.”
Check out Eminem’s “Godzilla Challenge” below. Are you able to rap that many words in 30 seconds? Sound off in the comments.
