Nearly three months after accepting Eminem's #GodzillaChallenge, Twista has finally tried his hand at it—and, to say the least, he succeeded. Back in March, while Em's challenge was in still in full swing, Twista declared that he would indeed be participating. Although the contest, which challenged participants to attempt to spit Em's rapidfire verse on the Music To Be Murdered By track, was technically only open to amateurs, several pros like Bizzy Bone and Biz Markie decided to give it a shot. Considering Twista has one of the most high-speed flows of all time, having once held the title for fastest rapper ever in the Guinness Book Of World Records, it seemed like a no-brainer that he too would answer the call—and annihilate the verse.
Unfortunately, Twista never shared his attempt, and later that month, Em crowned a winner of the #GodzillaChallenge. However, it looks like Twista didn't forget about his promise to show off his chops, and on Friday (May 29th), he finally took on the #GodzillaChallenge. "I feel like rapping fast today #GodzillaChallenge," he tweeted. "I’m going to do this #GodzillaChallenge in under a min and put it right out."
Twista proceeded to post a clip of him spitting his own original verse over the "Godzilla" track. "Wheeew kinda slowed it up so y’all can hear what I’m sayin," he wrote on the video.
Eminem Crowns Winner Of #GodzillaChallenge
Eminem has announced the grand prize winner of his #GodzillaChallenge on the Triller app, as well as the five runner-ups.
Eminem revealed which lucky fan has officially been crowned the winner of his #GodzillaChallenge on the Triller app, along with the five runner-ups for the contest. Em first launched the challenge last month, asking fans to attempt to spit his insane third verse off the Juice WRLD-featured track, which reportedly sees Em dropping 229 words in 30 seconds. While fellow rappers like Bizzy Bone and Biz Markie tried their hand at it, and Twista made promises of taking a stab it but never delivered, Em ensured that the true amateurs would win the promised repost and additional, unspecified prizes. According to Em's posts on social media, a young lad under the username @jacksherlock1 has been crowned the winner.
"'Godzilla, fire spitter, monster' #GodzillaChallenge @triller winner squad on the site. Shout out to the homie jacksherlock1 on taking the #1 spot!" Em tweeted, along with a link to his website that also includes the runner-ups. Interestingly enough, none of the winners are actually rapping the verse themselves, instead lip-syncing to Eminem's original rendition. Regardless, a huge congrats to the winners for their successful efforts and for getting recognized by their idol! At the moment, it is unclear what the prizes will be.
Twista Accepts Eminem’s #GODZILLACHALLENGE
Legendary chopper Twista has answered the call and taken up Eminem's ongoing viral #GODZILLACHALLENGE.
Ever since Eminem broke the Guinness World Record for fastest rap of all time with his breakneck "Godzilla," the subsequent #GODZILLACHALLENGE has awoken the competitive spirit of fellow choppers like Bizzy Bone and Twista. And while Bizzy recently tried his hand, albeit in his own unique way, many fans were left wondering whether Twista would answer the call with a response of his own. As it happens, the time has come. Yesterday, Twista took to Twitter to confidently accept the challenge -- much to the rampant delight of his fans.
Given that Twista is one of the quintessential double-time spitters of all time, there's a certain gravitas that comes with his participation. It's unlikely that he'll simply rap Em's verse verbatim, but rather move to one-up Shady's record-breaking lyrical onslaught. Some have even been speculating that a full-blown remix is the only logical conclusion, bringing Em, Twista, and Bizzy Bone together in a no-holds-barred battle of technical prowess.
One has to wonder if Em's open challenge is enough to get Twista back on his record-breaking mentality, his Adrenaline Rush grind, reclaiming his rightful spot as rap's reigning chopper. In truth, it's kind of strange seeing Em as the current title-holder, given his embrace and subsequent mastery of double-time flow is a relatively recent development. If Twista sets his mind to the task, there's no telling whether Em's record is safe. All we have to do and wait and see what the Chicago legend cooks up. Do you think Twista will be the one to break "Godzilla?"
Eminem Drops "Godzilla" Lyric Video
Eminem dropped a lyric video to accompany his track, "Godzilla," with the late Juice WRLD, following the launch of the #GodzillaChallenge.
Eminem is giving us all a chance to try to catch up to his rapid-fire flow on "Godzilla" by dropping a visually-appealing lyric video for the Juice WRLD-featured track. On Wednesday, the seasoned MC announced on social media that he'd concocted a helpful tool for all those visual learners out there hoping to master his unreal verse on the reportedly record-breaking track, which has him spitting approximately 229 words in 30 seconds.
The animated visuals stick to the established "monster" theme of the track, though the words appearing on the screen become difficult to follow at times due to how quickly they disappear from the screen as Em raps at the speed of light.
Em's remarkable delivery on the Music To Be Murdered By track led to the launch of the comical #GodzillaChallenge, a contest in which fans can compete to win a repost and additional prizes from Em if they manage to spit all those bars in that short time frame. The challenge has spawned many attempts from the Stans and fellow rappers alike. So far, Bizzy Bone has attempted the challenge, as has Biz Markie, both of whom Em has acknowledged for their efforts. While he hasn't set a deadline for the contest, he'll likely be declaring his favourite submissions sooner rather than later, so any hopeful prospects better get to practicing.

Eminem Applauds Biz Markie’s #GodzillaChallenge Effort
Eminem praised Biz Markie for taking on the #GodzillaChallenge, but reminded him that the contest is for amateurs only.
Eminem was definitely impressed by Biz Markie for partaking in the #GodzillaChallenge, but unfortunately, professional rappers aren't allowed to compete for the prize. Em's #GodzillaChallenge has been gaining traction this week ever since he announced the launch through the Triller app on Tuesday. Fans can compete to win a repost from the rapper as well as additional prizes by posting a video of themselves perfectly spitting his insane, rapid-fire verse on the contest's Juice WRLD-featured title track, "Godzilla," off of Em's album, Music To Be Murdered By.

The Stans have been flooding his mentions with their own attempts this week, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Bizzy Bone even took a stab at it. On Thursday, LL Cool J tagged Em in a tweet sharing a clip of Biz Markie participating in the #GodzillaChallenge during his visit to LL's Rock The Bells Radio station.
"Yo Em!!! Ya manz man Bizmarkie ain’t playing with this Godzilla challenge!!!" he tweeted. "@BizMarkie getting it done!!!" Em took notice of Biz's efforts, but jokingly pointed out that he's overqualified.
"Yo biz!!" he replied. "U bodied this!! But this contest is 4 amateurs only!! Ha!!" Seems fair enough, but you can't blame the man for trying.
Eminem’s #GodzillaChallenge Ushers In Responses From Fans
Eminem called and his fans answered. The #GodzillaChallenge may seem impossible to some, but others stepped up to the plate.
On Tuesday (February 25), Eminem made his debut on Triller as he issued a social media challenge for those with expert breath control. The Detroit rapper shared a clip of himself performing the spit-fire lyrics from "Godzilla" off of his recently released No. 1 album Music to be Murdered By. The world has witnessed millions responding to challenges such as these, but rap fans are finding it difficult to keep up with Eminem's quick lyrical skills.

The public didn't believe that anyone would really answer Eminem's call, but there were a handful of stans who were up for the challenge. Some are better than others, but overall, it's all in good fun as they're just fans who wanted to keep up with one of their favorite rappers. The track has amassed much success for both Eminem and Juice WRLD since its release. It became the late rapper's first No. 1 hit in the U.K. and the Shady Records CEO said Juice "was so talented."
"To be so young, he mastered that so f*cking quickly. His potential was so off the charts," the rapper added. Check out a few Eminem stans answer his #GodzillaChallenge and let us know how you think they did.
