Perhaps one of the perks of being a celebrity is that if you ever want to take up a new skill, you can just hit up the experts. That is exactly what Gunna did for the making of the music video behind his latest single, “Pop It,” which features the rapper hitting the courts with none other than tennis extraordinaire Coco Gauff. The collaboration serves as a high-energy visual centerpiece for the track, blending the worlds of hip-hop and professional sports.
“Gunna has been wanting to get into tennis, so for this video, we thought, why not just learn from the best and make it a reality,” director Spike Jordan of The Genius Club tells The FADER. “That’s really what this whole day was about. Having fun, trying something new and letting the world around just exist.”

The visual narrative takes viewers on a journey from tennis courts to international beaches, mansions, and villas. The aesthetic is elevated by a curated selection of high-fashion pieces from Miu Miu and Bottega Veneta, styled by Bobby Wesley Williams and Jenna Tyson. The single itself is significant, marking Gunna’s first solo release since 2025’s The Last Wun and his debut under his own imprint, SB THE LABEL, in partnership with Atlantic Records.
“SB THE LABEL represents the beginning of a new chapter for me,” Gunna shared regarding the venture. “It only felt right to start that chapter alongside my brothers Casper Bluff, Nechie, and Dracc, who are the first artists signed to the label. For me, this is about stepping into a new role, expanding what I can create, and building something that represents where I’m headed next.”
