If there's one thing nobody wants to be on the receiving end of, it's the Ice Cube scowl of disapproval. And while he didn't exactly fire one off per se, the legendary rapper did take the time to voice his displeasure following the tragic murder of George Floyd.
This morning, Cube was scheduled to appear on "Good Morning America," where he would presumably discuss topics like his Big 3 league, his musical legacy, and the state of American society. Unfortunately, Cube decided that America as a whole had failed in a major way, and canceled his appearance altogether.

"I apologize to everyone expecting to see me on Good Morning America today, but after the events in Minnesota with George Floyd I’m in no mood to tell America, good morning," he writes, Twitter. It goes without saying that morale has been low following Floyd's death at the hands of a police officer, who knelt on the man's neck for an extended period of time -- despite Floyd's panicked declarations that he couldn't breathe.
Cube is but one of many prominent rappers who have voiced their frustration and anger over the incident, which is beginning to feel like a societal boiling point. Even those who would normally stand silent have been seemingly moved into anger, a testament to the growing tension permeating in America at the moment. It's unclear as to whether rappers will continue to take action in protest, but you've gotta respect Ice Cube for remaining principled -- a quality he's maintained for the entirety of his career. Rest in peace George Floyd.
"Good Morning America" Reporter Caught Without Pants
Will Reeve appeared on "Good Morning America" this week where he very clearly was not wearing pants.
Many of us have been joining daily or weekly video calls with our bosses to check up and see how things are going while working from home. Students have similarly transitioned to Zoom classes with their peers, where everyone can see them through their webcam. Without a need to leave the house, it's become customary for many of us to work in our pajamas, throwing on some office attire whenever the call approaches. This morning on Good Morning America, reporter Will Reeve, son of the legendary Christopher Reeve, was caught in a pretty tough spot after thousands across the nation realized that he had called into the show without wearing any pants.
Will Reeve was all business on top -- wearing a shirt and blazer -- and party on the bottom with his boxer briefs. The shot was seemingly wider than anticipated because the reporter's bare right thigh and boxers were visible to everybody who tuned in, forcing him to comment on social media.
"When WFH goes wrong (or, your self-framed live shot goes too wide). Hope everyone got a much needed laugh," joked Reeve on Twitter.
At least he's got a good sense of humor about it.
He can't have been the first person to do this on live television. However, he was the unlikely one who got caught.
US Surgeon General Calls On Kylie Jenner Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic
US Surgeon General, Jerome Adams Ph.D., wants Kylie Jenner & social media influencers to participate in COVID-19 awareness.
America's most prominent doctor, Jerome Adams, is calling on the likes of Kylie Jenner and other social media influencers in order to get the youth of the nation to take the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) more seriously. Jermone Michael Adams Ph.D., who is currently serving as the United States 20th Surgeon General, appeared on Good Morning America on Thursday (March 19), to speak about the country's efforts to contain the highly-contagious disease and the role that millennials play in attempting to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Adams, who was appointed by President Donald Trump to serve as US Surgeon General in 2017, believes that social media has the power to influence America's young citizens to participate in an effective coronavirus prevention plan.

During his appearance on Good Morning America, the certified anesthesiologist wasn't afraid to call upon some of the most influential names in pop culture to serve as catalysts for COVID-19 awareness as he stated to Super Bowl champion, Michael Strahan:
"What I really think we need to do ... is get our influencers. We need to get Kylie Jenner, we need to get our social-media influencers out there in helping folks understand that, look, this is serious. This is absolutely serious. People are dying."
US Surgeon General Adams then went on to name drop highly-popularized NBA players Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell who have tested positive for coronavirus despite being asymptomatic. Before ending his segment with a message to the negligent youth of the country, stating:
"Think about your grandmother, think about your grandfather. Think about the fact that you're spreading disease, which could ultimately be what kills them."
With the recent flock of college students and millennials making their way to Florida for spring break despite being in the midst of a global pandemic, Dr. Adams' message is more necessary than ever in order to properly contain the virus that has now reached over 200,000 confirmed cases around the globe. And with popular social media personalities like Kylie Jenner reaching a following of over 166 million people, influencers have the opportunity to have major impact over how history will be made with this pandemic.
We shall see how things play out over the course of the next couple of weeks and how many will choose to use their platforms during these trying times. Check out US Surgeon General Jerome Adams' full Good Morning America interview in the video provided below.
Tyra Banks’ Toddler Son Celebrates Body Positivity
Tyra Banks’ four-year-old son, York, is up on game about body positivity.
Tyra Banks’ son, York Banks Asla, understands the concept of body positivity at the tender age of just four-years-old. Hailing from Inglewood, California and beginning her modeling career at 15-years-old, Tyra Banks has been able to acquire the mental toughness to ward off comments about her physical features from people in the modeling industry, critics, and fans alike. In a business that requires aesthetic perfection, the America’s Next Top Model creator has been celebrating body positivity for years and now her son, York, is doing the same and even knows how to smize.

Tyra Banks took her talents to Good Morning America on Monday (Feb. 24) to talk about a plethora of subjects including her upcoming experimental venture ModelLand, her various entrepreneurial endeavors, and motherhood. When the topic of her son arose, Banks (AKA Banx) had this to say:
“My little boy is amazing. First of all, he’s a hot mess.” Tyra Banks then went on to add, “Oh he knows how to smize… And, I’m teaching my son to love all body types.”
The former supermodel then went on to explain her ‘X out booty standards’ slogan to which her son, York, commonly uses in his own vernacular. Tyra Banks continued:
“He’s like, ‘Mommy x out booty standards, mommy your booty is bigger and it’s OK.'”
Banks then went on to state her influence about her current ModelLand venture saying:
“America’s Next Top Model is in 180 countries, it is one of the longest-running reality shows in history, but I feel like I’ve only given so many people that opportunity. It’s time to bust open that door and give everyone that opportunity to feel beautiful and push so much self-love into their spirit. I created ModelLand as a place you can come and live the ultimate modeling fantasy. You can do the fanta-scene, which is like the fanciest spa you’ve ever gone to, except instead of a massage you get couture hair, makeup, styling, photos to take home — everybody who comes gets a look book.”
The fashion-forward businesswoman went on to explain that it took a total of twelve years for ModelLand to become a reality. The goal for ModelLand is to provide women and men the full supermodel experience from fashion shows and photoshoots to shopping and more. The model-based ‘theme park’ is based in Santa Monica, California and is set to open doors sometime this spring.

Dwyane Wade: Zaya’s Gender Identity Was Tough To Talk About
In a new interview with Good Morning America, Dwayne Wade recounts how he struggled, at first, to open up about his daughter Zaya's transition.
Dwyane Wade and his daughter Zaya have been making headlines over the last week due to the revelation that Zaya is trans and identifies as a female. At 12 years old, Zaya has been able to recognize her gender identity and has been making strides to educate her parents on how she feels. Wade has taken this all in stride and has been as supportive as one could imagine.
Recently, Wade sat down with Robin Roberts Good Morning America where he spoke on his brand new documentary. D.Wade: Life Unexpected takes a look at the basketball player’s hectic life. Zaya is a major part of the documentary and as Wade described, he felt a little uneasy about talking about her transition, at first.
“I struggled on how much I wanted to talk about it in the doc,” Wade said. “I actually didn’t talk about it a lot, but I knew if I put it in the doc at all, it would be a big conversation…We struggled with what people would say about a 12-year-old making a decision about her life. But we also know our child.”
Eventually, Wade came around on the idea of opening up because he knew it would help people out there. He figured that if people were going through something similar, they would be able to relate to him and his family’s story.
“We’ve been through so many different things that other people and other families go through and they thank us for speaking out on it,” Wade said. “That’s what we’re trying to do. We know there are other families out there dealing with their kid finding themselves and learning who they are.”
Wade says Zaya was very self-aware of herself early on and new that she was different from everyone else. The former basketball star says Zaya would talk things out with her parents often which eventually led to her discovery. Thanks to the power of research, Zaya was able to learn about herself and it eventually made it a lot easier to talk with her parents.

“Zaya, early on, knew two things: She knew straight and she knew gay,” Wade went on to say. “But Zaya started doing more research. She is the one who sat down with us, as a family, and said, ‘Hey, I don’t think I’m gay.’ She went down a list and said, ‘This is how I identify myself. This is my gender identity. I identify myself as a young lady. I identify as straight trans because I like boys.'”
Admittedly, Wade says he needed to check himself once Zaya came out as he needed to fully understand what she was going through. Throughout his career, Wade has used words in the locker room that would be regarded as offensive in today's climate. Being aware of that, Wade says he knew he had to change his behaviors in order to become a better father. Needless to say, Wade has come a long way over the years and will do absolutely anything to make sure his child feels loved.

Shayanna Jenkins Opens Up About Aaron Hernandez’s Sexuality Following Docuseries
Aaron Hernandez’s former fiancee speaks on his sexuality for the first time after Netflix’s docuseries.
Aaron Hernandez has been back in headlines over the past few weeks since Netflix debuted Killer Inside: The Mind Of Aaron Hernandez which explored his murder cases, his sexuality, and his CTE diagnosis. For the first time since the docuseries, his former fiancee Shayanna Jenkins is opening up about the claims made in the docuseries including his sexuality.
“If he did feel that way or if he felt the urge, I wish that I was told. I wish that he would’ve told me ’cause I wouldn’t — I would not have loved him any differently. I would’ve understood. It’s not shameful and I don’t think anybody should feel shameful about who they are inside, regardless of who they love. I think, I think it’s a beautiful thing,” she told ABC News’ Amy Robach. “I wish I was able to tell him that.”
In the interview, which is set to air in full on Wednesday, she also speaks on one of the people in the documentary, Dennis Sansoucie. Sansoucie was a high school teammate and a friend of Hernandez. He claimed that they would engage in sexual acts when they were in high school. Jenkins-Hernandez said that she only knew of Sansoucie but he wasn’t active in Aaron’s adult life.
The entire interview is set to air tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 28th) at 7 a.m. on Good Morning America.
Aaron Hernandez’s Ex-Fiancee Set To Break Silence On Netflix Doc Next Week
Shayanna Jenkins will speak to "what was not in the documentary" on "GMA" next week."
Aaron Hernandez has been back in the news after Netflix released the documentary, Killer Inside: The Mind Of Aaron Hernandez. The documentary was obviously a bombshell, detailing his sexuality, his murder cases, his childhood, and more. One person who didn't appear in the documentary, though, is Shayanna Jenkins, the former fiancee of the one-time NFL star.
This Monday, Jenkins will sit down on GMA for her first interview since the documentary dropped. Jenkins has been silent, for the most part, since the documentary's release, although she did issue a message on Instagram to thank everyone for their positive messages. The teaser for the interview started with the reporter asking her, "How do you think the world should remember Aaron Hernandez?" Clips of her tearfully respond are shown as the narration continues. Jenkins will be discussing the documentary as well as facts that were missing from the documentary itself.
The documentary has sparked more backlash from people who were directly connected to Aaron Hernandez's murder case including the family of the victim. The other day, Odin Lloyd's family said they were blindsided by the documentary especially after they declined this documentary and other specials in the past. They said that the producers used old footage of themselves in the documentary to make it appear as if they gave exclusive interviews for it.
