The greatest (or worst) thing that has come out of this pandemic has been Tiger King. Hailed by Joel McHale as the greatest docu-series of all time, it certainly is one of the most riveting, entertaining, and wild documentaries ever. Following the reunion episode that premiered this weekend, fans of the show still had questions, specifically for Jeff Lowe, and the man came through with some answers.
If you've been obsessed with the show (and all of the conspiracy theories surrounding it), then you already know about the ties between Jeff Lowe and Carole Baskin. The internet believes to have found evidence that the two were married at some point, tracing it all back to a photo that shows Baskin and her former husband, who looks a little like Lowe.
Jeff Lowe is adamant that he has never been married to Carole Baskin, taking to a board to tell the people the truth.
"You're a brilliant man and she is not my type," said Jeff Lowe during an AMA session on , responding to a fan who remarked how he generally goes for younger women. "If I was stuck on a deserted island with her, I would fuck a coconut. I've seen the side by side pictures. It looks more like John and Joe's love child."
In the same question-and-answer period, Lowe spoke on how the show was represented to the participants, noting that the producers didn't do an accurate job of telling them what would be shown.
"They framed it as an expose on Carole Baskins," he wrote. "And to Carole, they said it was warning against the dangers of keeping tigers. They misrepresented the show to everyone."

Lowe broke the news to L.A. Dodgers' star Justin Turner for a cameo video message. He claims Netflix producers will be filming at his house, Sunday, and the episode will then be available to stream next week.
“Netflix is adding one more episode. It will be on next week. They’re filming here tomorrow,” Lowe said. “Take care, stay safe, and put your mask on.”
Earlier this week, Netflix released a clip from an interview with the show's star, Joe Exotic, on the company's Twitter. "You know it would be nice if I could actually see me being famous out there, but I've seen these same four walls for a year and a half now," he says in the video.
Exotic goes on to show remorse for some of his past decisions: "Go sit in a cage with your animals for a week. I mean, when I left the zoo and I sent my chimpanzees to the sanctuary in Florida and imagined what my chimpanzees went through for 18 years, I -- I'm ashamed of myself,” he says.

Shaq Feels PETA’s Pressure Amid "Tiger King" Controversy
Shaquille O’Neal recently Facetimed Jeff Lowe, owner of Oklahoma’s Greater Wynnewood Animal Park, and PETA is applying pressure on him.
PETA has been on the prowl ever since Tiger King came out on Netflix. Joe Exotic connection to major celebrities earned backlash for the rich and famous who paid a visit to the incarcerated zoo keeper’s land. Shaq was recently among those who had to deal with PETA’s wrath and recently tried to distance himself from Joe Exotic but now, the animal rights company is putting pressure on the 4x NBA Champ for his association with another zoo owner.
PETA is demanding Shaq distances himself from Jeff Lowe, owner of Greater Wynnewood Animal Park in Oklahoma, on claims that he’s equally as bad as Joe Exotic. Lowe hit Facebook a to share a photo of himself Facetiming Shaquille O’Neal and calling him, “One of the nicest guys in the World.”
“Shaq facetime’d a few minutes ago to see how we were doing and if we need anything. We love you too buddy,” Lowe wrote on the Facebook post.
“We saw your statement about not being as involved with Joe Exotic as the Tiger King documentary made it seem. It appears that the equally problematic wild-animal exhibitor, Jeff Lowe, is now claiming to have your support,” the letter from PETA reads. “Lowe is no different from Joe Exotic when it comes to harming animals.
