Nitti Gritti Drops New "What A Time To Be Alive" EP With Shaq, Ookay, FuntCase & More
The wait is finally over — Nitti Gritti’s new EP, What A Time To Be Alive, is finally here. Ever since he dropped “Takin’ Over” with Shaq last November, the EP has been on the horizon.
Now, with five tracks and collaborations with Shaq, Ookay, FuntCase, and Yako, the full EP is here and it’s absolutely stunning. Nitti shows off his versatility as a producer, offering up five distinct and impressive bass tracks that all hit a little different.
Of course, teaming up with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal on “Takin’ Over,” which itself is a hilarious track with Shaq’s adlibs, and FuntCase on “To Death,” definitely helps.
With 2020 looking to be incredibly kind to Nitti Gritti, this is a fantastic start. Check out What A Time To Be Alive below, out now Thrive Music!
? Calvin Harris Is Dropping New Music Ahead of Coachella ?
It’s been eight months since we last got some new Calvin Harris, the 2019 update of his hit “I’m Not Alone” he dropped last April. Since he’s returning to the desert this April for the first time since he headlined the festival in 2016, it’s only appropriate that he’s dropping something new! Or somethings…
Responding to fans on Twitter today, Calvin Harris said we’ll be getting “plenty of music” in the next “couple of weeks” he thinks. This is fantastic news considering the constant quality of his productions and the possibility for special guests on the Polo Field.

Lizzo Subtly Responds To Jillian Michaels: "If My Name Is In Your Mouth, So Is My P*ssy"
She said what she said.
Just a few days after Lizzo jumped off Twitter for a hiatus due to the trolls that simply wouldn’t leave her alone, fitness guru Jillian Michaels jumped on national television and body-shamed the “Truth Hurts” singer. “Why are we celebrating her body? Why does it matter? Why aren’t we celebrating her music? ‘Cause it isn’t going to be awesome if she gets diabetes,” Jillian asked. “I’m just being honest. I love her music, my kid loves her music, but there’s never a moment when I’m like, ‘I’m so glad she’s overweight.’ Why do I even care? Why is it my job to care about her weight?”

After Jillian was slammed for her insensitive comments, she still showed no mercy. While Lizzo has definitely not returned to Twitter, she has jumped on Instagram to share a little message that’s seemingly directed at Jillian. Using a short clip that sees her looking glam and beautiful, Lizzo shares her short and sweet message: “If my name is in your mouth, so is my pussy, bitch. Enjoy the flavor.”
Meek Mill Pledges Allegiance To Drake With "Life Is Good" Quote
Meek Mill is feeling Drizzy's "Life Is Good" verse.
So much can change in a few years. Despite being bitter enemies for a brief spell, Drake and Meek Mill have since forged an unbreakable bromance much to the delight of their respective fanbases. Though we've only seen one collaboration in "Going Bad" since their mutual decision to bury the hatchet, it seems as if Meek and Drizzy will remain in constant communication whenever new music is being created. So much so that Meek recently took to IG to further pledge his loyalty to the Champagne Papi.

"Someone hit ya block up I’ll tell you if it’s us," writes Meek, alongside a picture of a grinning Drake. Clearly, he's a fan of "Life Is Good," the most recent dose of menacing luxury raps from the What A Time To Be Alive duo. It should also be noted that Meek's line suggests a pledge of loyalty, all but solidifying himself as one of Drake's go-to generals. Perhaps it's to be expected after Drizzy publically declared his comeback to be the greatest of all time.
While this is hardly a groundbreaking development, it's certainly cool to see how far Meek and Drake have come. From lyrical warfare to open declarations of bromance. What a time to be alive.

S1 Confirms Eminem Has Been Recording Lots Of New Music
Can we expect a new Eminem album in 2020?
Eminem has been relatively quiet since dropping off Kamikaze in 2018, emerging from the shadows to lay down verses for Boogie, Conway, Logic, and Fat Joe. Even amidst increasing vitriol from Nick Cannon and Lord Jamar, Slim has opted to keep quiet and focus on the task at hand. As such, speculation of a new album began to circulate, despite any lack of concrete details. Thankfully, HipHopNMore sat down for a dope conversation with producer Symbolyc 1, aka S1, who confirmed that Em was putting in some serious work.

Coming off contributions to Em’s “Nice Guy” and “Normal,” HHNM openly whether Em was crafting his tenth studio album, prompting an intriguing response from S1. “I’ve been working with Eminem quite a bit,” he reveals. “They’re always real quiet and real secretive but I just know he’s been cutting a lot of records so we’ll see what happens with that.”
Aside from working with Em, S1 also reveals he’s been contributing to J. Cole‘s upcoming album, which has been all but confirmed for a 2020 release. Clearly, the storied producer is looking at another big year. As are the fans. Be sure to check out the whole interview over at HHNM, and sound off below — are you excited for a new project from Slim Shady?

[PREMIERE] Sullivan King Drops Hotly Anticipated Remix Of Kayzo "Alone"
Sullivan King and Kayzo have a bunch of material together due out in 2020, including a joint remix of “Helena” by My Chemical Romance. But the first to drop is a Sully remix of “Alone” featuring Our Last Night, from Kayzo’s latest album.
“Alone” was the lead single off Unleashed when Kayzo first announced it in 2019, so it holds a bit of a special place on the album. (Not to mention it’s also the first song on the album.) So when Sullivan King got his hands on it, you can bet he treated it right.
The remix starts just as the original did, but the first drop goes a much heavier bass route than the more instrumental direction Kayzo took. It’s wild and brash, exactly what we’d expect when someone tells you “Sullivan King remixed Kayzo.” But, it’s the final drop that really brings the metal into the equation, with intense guitar, drums, and screams.
“I’ve known Hayden (Kayzo) for as long as I’ve been in music and having seen what he’s done for our style of music and how he’s helped bring it beyond the EDM vein and into a more mainstream light is so awesome. He and I both come from the same background of music and that’s why I’ve personally had such a connection with his music and sound. I really am just happy to see how this scene of metal/rock and dubstep has progressed so fast, and wanted this remix to just keep propelling that vision I think we both have” – Sullivan King
