Patriots owner Robert Kraft has taken out a full-page ad in Sunday's edition of the Tampa Bay Times to thank Tom Brady for his time as the Patriots' quarterback, according to ESPN.

"For 20 amazing years, you gave us everything you had," the ad reads. "When you arrived as a sixth-round pick -- and the best selection this franchise has ever made -- no one imagined all you'd accomplish or how much you'd soon mean to an entire region."
Brady was drafted by the Patriots in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft and went on to win six Super Bowl rings.
"Your passion for the game, competitiveness, and constant pursuit of excellence resulted in an unprecedented six Super Bowl victories, nine conference championships, and 17 division titles," the ad continues. "You’re now recognized as the greatest of all time for what you’ve accomplished on the field, but you’re an even better person."
Earlier this week, after months of rumors and hinting, Brady signed a two-year, $50 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He joins Tamps Bay as a 42-year-old quarterback entering his 21st season in the NFL. His statistics have yet to slow down, recording 24 touchdowns and only 8 interceptions in 2019.
"Take care of him. You got a great one," the message concludes.
Michael Irvin On Potential Dak Prescott Trade For Cowboys To Sign Tom Brady
Will we see Brady in a Cowboys jersey?
Making an appearance on WEEI’s Dale & Keefe, famed Cowboys legend Michael Irvin mentioned that "some very significant people" were putting together a Dak Prescott trade to make way for Tom Brady, as noted by Complex.
"I am telling you right now, at the Super Bowl in Miami, some very significant people that I had conversations [with were] leaning in that same direction," Irvin explained when asked about rumors surrounding Brady going to the Cowboys. "It was shocking. I had a vodka cranberry in my hand and when they said it to me I put the drink down and said, 'Let’s talk a little bit more about this.' ... I promise you, I had a conversation with people, I can’t tell you who, about that same scenario going down."
Irvin later clarified on Twitter that he was not referring to anyone directly involved in the Cowboys organization: "I never said Jerry or anyone in the organization said this to me. It was NOT anyone with the [Dallas Cowboys]."
Prescott is currently in contract negotiations with the team. Both sides have failed to come to an agreement on total value and the latest rumors are that the team could franchise tag Prescott if need be.
Brady has flirted with the idea of leaving New England this year.
Bill Belichick Reportedly Cleared Of Wrongdoing In Spygate 2 Case
Bill is off the hook.
According to the Washington Post, Bill Belichick and his staff are expected to be cleared of all wrongdoing in the Bengals filming incident. The NFL’s investigation has found no evidence linking Bill Belichick or other members of the New England coaching staff to what is being called Spygate 2. Although the investigation clears Belichick and his staff, they may still face punishment. The investigation is expected to be completed as soon as this week, according to sources close to the situation. Unless something changes in the last-minute and more damaging evidence is uncovered, the NFL will most likely impose penalties consistent with other cases of game-day infractions. That may include a fine in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and possibly the loss or reduction in the value of a draft pick.
It is unclear when NFL will announce a decision on the case. Once NFL security officials finish their investigation, Commissioner Roger Goodell and other league leaders must review the findings and decide whether to conduct additional investigations. The Patriots were fined a total of $750,000 by the NFL and the team lost their first-round draft selection in 2007 in the first Spygate case when they were found to be taping opponents’ coach signals. For this recent case, the Patriots admitted violating NFL video policy during the Bengals-Browns game on December 8 in Cleveland.
