Marcus Smart is one of ten players in the NBA to have tested positive for the Coronavirus. His diagnosis certainly came as a shock to fans although if you have been paying attention to the news, you would know that this shouldn't be too shocking. The pandemic has been ramping up over the past few weeks and people are scared. Now, the NBA has been completely shut down and there is a real chance that the season may have to be canceled.
Yesterday, Smart offered an update on his condition as fans have been checking in on him to see if he is doing well. As you can see in the tweet below, Smart is doing just fine and is beginning to feel a lot better. He may not be 100 percent cleared of the virus but so far, so good. He even urged fans to stay home and do their part as we all continue to practice social distancing.
Over the next few weeks, the NBA players who caught the virus will begin to see it leave their systems, thus making them non-contagious. For instance, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz were both told today that the virus is no longer in their bodies.
Hopefully, this pandemic can be squashed and we all go back to sports, sooner rather than later.
Jon Jones’ Arrest Caught On Tape With Police Body-Cam
Jon Jones offered a bizarre explanation to the police as to why he was out and about with Tequila in his car.
Jon Jones was arrested in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Thursday morning and was hit with three charges. The main charges had to do with driving while intoxicated, as well as negligent use of a deadly weapon. Jones was found in his jeep while a firearm and half-empty bottle of tequila were next to him. Police were prompted to approach his vehicle after a report that he had allegedly shot off a round.
According to TMZ, the video of the arrest has been made public thanks to body-cam footage taken by one of the officers. In the video below, Jones appears to be slurring his words as he explains that he needed to get out of the house because the pandemic is making him go stir-crazy.
“I literally just got stir-crazy,” Jones said. “I just wanted to have a drive. This is my first drive in 2 weeks. And, I saw these homeless guys. I was being nice to them, having a conversation with them, treating them like humans.”
After being arrested, Jones began to cry as he was escorted into the police vehicle. It was then that he admitted he was scared for his family and even said he wanted to be a police officer growing up.
Stay tuned for updates on this story as we will be sure to bring them to you.

"Tiger King" Joe Exotic’s Ex-Husband John Finlay Gets New Teeth
"Tiger King" star John Finlay has a brand new smile, setting the internet on fire with his fresh look.
Currently the top-rated show on Netflix, Tiger King is a runaway hit for the streaming service. The multi-part documentary series tells the story of Joe Exotic, the owner of an exotic animal zoo known for its big cats. Throughout the series, Exotic's longtime partner John Finlay is shown giving on-camera testimonials without a shirt and with very few teeth remaining in his mouth. After it was reported that several stars of the series were upset at their portrayal on-screen, it was revealed that Finlay had actually gotten some serious dental work to repair his chompers.
If you're as obsessed about Tiger King as the remainder of the world is, you probably know all about John Finlay already. If you don't, he's the ex-husband of Joe Exotic, the main character of the show who is currently in prison on murder-for-hire charges. His toothless grin was a highlight of the doc, but it appears as though he's either got a fresh pair of dentures or had his teeth permanently fixed.
In new pictures that are currently circulating across the internet, John Finlay is seen flexing a brand new smile and, noticeably so, homeboy's got some fresh dentures. Good for him!

NYC Hospital Crammed With Coronavirus Patients In Alarming Video
A hospital in New York is shown crowded with tons of sick Coronavirus patients in a shocking and concerning clip.
The Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York City, was shown filled to the brim with Coronavirus patients seeking medical care in a disturbing new Facebook video. The emergency room of the hospital in question was crammed with defeated-looking patients on gurneys, pushed side-by-side. Patients were also shown sitting in chairs waiting to be assessed by a medical professional. At the beginning of the clip, a distressed employee can be heard asking, “Who is the sickest patient [who] needs to go up?”
“I don’t know,” responds another voice. The video is a perfect illustration of how condensed and crowded hospitals have become since the coronavirus pandemic escalated, particularly in the United States and specifically in New York. The clip was posted on Thursday by a Facebook user after an anonymous hospital worker had sent it to them. At the time it was posted, Queens was leading New York City as bearing the highest percentage of reported cases of coronavirus out of all five NYC boroughs, with 7,362 reported cases of infection. Out of the 4,720 patients hospitalized citywide, at least 850 were being treated in the ICU. In response to the video, a spokesman for the hospital simply said that the footage was “unauthorized.”
Donovan Mitchell Reacts To Being Cleared Of COVID-19
Donovan Mitchell was recently told he is no longer carrying the Coronavirus.
Donovan Mitchell was one of the first NBA players to be diagnosed with the Coronavirus. His positive test came immediately after his teammate Rudy Gobert was also diagnosed with the virus. Since then, Mitchell has been quarantining at home where he was getting his rest and a fair share of fluids. Mitchell and Gobert received some positive news earlier today as it was revealed that they no longer have the virus which means they can't pass it on to anyone else. At this point, they will probably still stay home, just for the good of everyone else.
Mitchell was so excited about this news that he hopped on Twitter and posted a prayer hand emoji alongside a gif of a child happily dancing. The young Jazz star is clearly happy to be rid of the virus that has killed thousands of people around the globe.
Other NBA players have contracted the virus including Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets. Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics got it also which just goes to show how the virus can be spread so easily. Even the most healthy individuals can end up with it.
Regardless, we wish everyone else with the virus, a speedy recovery. This pandemic has been very scary but if we work together, it can go away much faster than we think.
Young Thug & Lil Baby’s "Bad Bad Bad" Goes Platinum
Young Thug continues to break down doors with another platinum plaque, this time for the Lil Baby-assisted “Bad Bad Bad.”
It’s hard to imagine that there was once a time when Young Thug wasn’t moving units like a heavyweight, with many fans feeling like he wasn’t getting the attention he deserved. That all seemed to change with So Much Fun, Thugger’s official “debut” album — though that feels more like a technicality than a truth. Whatever you prefer to call it, the project proved to be Thug’s first number one album, spawning heavy-hitting singles like Lil Baby collaboration “Bad Bad Bad” and the Gunna-assisted “Hot.”

Given that Lil Baby himself has grown into a commercial juggernaut in his own right, it was only a matter of time before “Bad Bad Bad” secured the pair another platinum plaque. The YSL IG page came through to make the announcement, confirming that the Wheezy-laced banger was the third single off the album to secure the honor – the first being the J. Cole and Travis Scott-assisted lead single “The London,” with the second being the aforementioned “Hot.”
At this rate, it feels like So Much Fun will join the prestigious platinum club before all is said and done. It’s already gold, and many are still finding treasures to unpack amid all of those carefully arranged nooks and crannies. Given that Thugger is supposed to be dropping off Punk, his previously-announced sophomore album, it’s unclear as to whether he’ll be issuing further So Much Fun singles. But even if he opts to stay the course and wait, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the album hit the big leagues eventually. Congratulation to Young Thug and Lil Baby!
Yung Berg’s Alleged Attack Victim Granted Restraining Order
Yung Berg’s alleged attack victim, Talia Tilley, has been granted a restraining order against him, after she accused him of pistol whipping her after sex.
A woman who claims she was pistol whipped and held hostage by Yung Berg after the two had sex in his home has been granted a restraining order against the rapper-producer. Earlier this month, Talia Tilley alleged that Yung Berg, also commonly known by the alias Hitmaka, had hit her across the face with a pistol multiple times. She also accused him of holding her hostage and threatening to kill her. She was treated in a hospital following the alleged attack on March 14th, and found out she had suffered a “closed head injury, closed fracture of nasal bone, and facial lacerations.” As a result, the LAPD issued her an emergency protective order against Berg, which prevented him from contacting her and coming near or or her home. However, the temporary order expired last Friday, so Talia decided to file for an extension, which the judge has granted her a week later.

The alleged incident went down at Berg’s place at around 5:00am on March 14th. Talia claims he invited her over a few hours earlier, and the two of them proceeded to have sex before she fell asleep. Talia was woken by Berg, who complained that her phone kept ringing. Berg then allegedly began to get violent, slapping her with his pistol and threatening her life. According to her story, she was later let out of the house, but Berg and his security guard made her hand over her ID and social security card. She says she fears for her life because he knows where she lives, and she believes he wants her dead.
Berg has vehemently denied these accusations, claiming that he acted in self-defense because Talia was supposedly apart of a ploy to rob and kill him. He alleged that Talia was attempting to let in a gang of armed robbers to carry out a home invasion, but that they were caught by the security system before they could complete their mission. Talia has denied these home invasion claims. Berg has also accused her of making up the story just to get money from him.
Melvin Gordon Sends Shots At Chargers Fans
Melvin Gordon always seemed to have issues with the lack of fans in Los Angeles.
Melvin Gordon started out his career with the Chargers organization although last year, it appeared as though there was some trouble on the horizon. Gordon was clearly not happy with his contract and held out from football activities as he sought to get his money up. He and the Chargers never came to an agreement so he decided to return to the field. During this most recent offseason, Gordon decided to leave Los Angeles and signed with a divisional rival in the Denver Broncos.
While speaking to journalist Nicki Jhabvala, Gordon admitted that playing in Los Angeles wasn't very fun as the fanbase was practically non-existent. All of the football fans in the city were indebted to the Rams which made the Chargers a second rate team. As Gordon explains, Broncos fans made home games feel like away games. In fact, most Chargers home games felt like away matches.
With this in mind, Gordon is happy to go to a team that actually has fans at their home games. However, when you have fans, there are bigger expectations and as a running back, your performance isn't always guaranteed. Regardless, Gordon seems content with his decision and that's all that should matter at this point.
While his beef might be with Chargers fans, one could make the argument, what Chargers fans?
