Iman Shumpert got to play with LeBron James during his second stint in Cleveland. The two even won a championship together in 2016. With this in mind, it shouldn't be surprising that Shumpert has a lot to say about the NBA legend. The other day, Shumpert spoke about what makes LeBron so great and how his basketball IQ is better than everyone else's. In a recent interview, Shumpert spoke about how LeBron is one of the most hated players in the league and that it really all comes down to just one thing.

Speaking to This is 50, Shumpert admitted that LeBron gets so much hate because he is so good. Not to mention, he hasn't had any real scandals and people want to see him fail. He's simply too perfect which makes him look like less of a real person. Shumpert noted that LeBron has been with the same woman since high school and that he is a model citizen who does so much for his community.

Despite developing artistic chemistry with artists like Denzel Curry and A$AP Rocky in their early years, Purrp would later find himself at odds with the same rappers he once helped. It quickly became a matter not of if, but when the inevitable fallout would occur, with Purrp's reputation as a bridge burner growing in power with every social media rant. 

Today, the underground legend is back at it again with another one, again aiming his sights at A$AP Rocky. Taking to Twitter, SGP explained the origin story behind his notorious feud with A$AP Rocky, though his status as an unreliable narrator should not go unnoticed. "I'm tired of holding my tongue back in 2011 I was invited to dis party in new York by asap rocky," he writes. "I was pullin up wit my girl n shit and I was on da phone like yo bruh where u at I don't see he was like "YO LOOK DOWN IM RIGHT HERE" Next thing u know he in da pool rubbin a mans ass."

"SO IF U WANNA KNOW WHY "ASAP ROCKY AND ASAP and EVERY RAPPER" HATE ME so much it's because I stopped hangin wit him becuase he didnt tell me dat he was homosecual on da low and I felt like he lied bout his life so n order for him 2 keep his secret ,he got me black listed in music," continues Purrp. "So all these rappers that took his side and went against are basically the ones that had to go against so I womt expose their secret , because I did literally. Nothing wrong to them at all." 

As he tells it, his knowledge of Rocky's "big secret" was the main reason for their rift, as his principles simply couldn't allow him to remain tight with somebody living a lie. "This is the main real reason why "EVERYBODY HATES SPACEGHOSTPURRP" FOR no reason and been bashing my name," he concludes. "Becuase I found out his biggest secret and he hot mad because I cut him off for lyin bout his sexuality."

 This isn't the first time Purrp has made unprovoked allegations about his former collaborator. Last year, he issued a disturbing threat to A$AP Rocky, claiming he would "kill" Rocky on sight. As of yet, Rocky hasn't acknowledged his former producer's rant, nor does it seem likely he will.

OVO Sound artist PARTYNEXTDOOR is about to unleash his latest studio album onto us, releasing PARTYMOBILE at midnight tonight. The project is filled with mystery so far and, even though the tracklist has just been revealed, a list of features was not provided, keeping a cloud over it for the time being.

A new single from PARTYNEXTDOOR and Rihanna has been rumored for tonight, but we don’t know the title of the song yet because the tracklist shared just now contains none of the featured guests. Drake, the head of OVO Sound, just shared the official tracklisting for PARTYNEXTDOOR’s album PARTYMOBILE, exposing the fifteen songs being packaged tonight.

In addition to “The News,” “Split Decision,” and “Loyal,” a number of other chunes will be put together and released as PARTYMOBILE tonight. The remix to his Drake collaboration will be added on as a bonus track, with over a dozen other songs making the cut.

Lamar Jackson became a breakout star in the NFL last season thanks to his dual-threat capabilities with the Baltimore Ravens. Jackson won the MVP award and was given various nicknames such as “Action Jackson,” “Lamarvelous,” and “Not bad for a running back.” These are all nicknames that are unique to the Ravens standout and as you can imagine, companies are already looking to profit on his likeness.

Jackson is already starting to feel the effects of this and according to TMZ, he has launched a lawsuit against Amazon for allowing third-party vendors to sell merchandise with his name and likeness. As Jackson explains, he never signed off on these designs and believes Amazon is on the hook for large amounts of money that he missed out on due to the profiteering of his name.

The quarterback is worried that fans purchasing the items believe he is behind them. This ultimately creates some confusion amongst consumers and Jackson wants to put a stop to it. In the lawsuit, Jackson is demanding that Amazon take the items down while also paying him damages. Jackson feels like his brand has been damaged due to this and is looking for a quick resolution.

Jon Jones is a legendary UFC fighter who will most likely go down as the greatest fighter to ever do it. Unfortunately, he has had his fair share of problems with the law. According to TMZ, Jones faced yet another issue as he was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning in New Mexico. He was hit with charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of an Open Container, and Negligent Use of a Deadly Weapon.

This all started when police responded to a report that someone had fired off a weapon at 1 AM in Albuquerque. Once cops got onto the scene, they found Jones sitting in his new Jeep where he appeared to be heavily intoxicated and even smelled of alcohol. After doing a search of the car, they found a handgun and a bottle of tequila that appeared to be half-empty.

A breathalyzer test was performed on Jones and as you can imagine, he failed twice. As of right now, this story is still developing so we will make sure to give you the latest updates as soon as they become available.

Jones’ last fight was a win against Dominick Reyes to keep his undefeated record. It remains to be seen how the UFC will react to this latest legal trouble.

It seems Ariana Grande is making sure to look out for her fans, as multiple “Arianators” have revealed that the pop star has sent them some relief money to cover their finances amid the coronavirus pandemic. Ari has sent more than 20 different fans between $500-$1000 each in order to help them out as they cope with the effects that the coronavirus pandemic has had on them. Many folks have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus causing the government to shut down most businesses, and are searching for a way to pay their rent and bills, buy groceries, etc. While Ari’s been keeping her generosity on the low, her fans don’t want her kindness to go unnoticed. “She reached out and took care of my salary for the month,” one of her fans revealed.

Along with this kind gesture, Ari has also donated a ton of money to various organizations that are fighting the fallout of the coronavirus pandemic. “While we are social distancing and doing the best we can to protect one another,” she wrote on her IG story earlier this week, “my heart hurts for the small businesses, individuals, and families affected by this.” The singer has so far supported the Opportunity Fund to help small businesses, Give Directly for emergency cash funding, Feeding America, which supports food banks, the Italian Red Cross, and WHO’s COVID-19 solidarity response fund. Meanwhile, she is cooped up at home in quarantine, alongside her new boyfriend, Dalton Gomez.

Kathy Griffin is among the growing list of celebrities that have either tested positive for Coronavirus, are showing symptoms and awaiting a test, or else, are simply speaking out about the matter. It sounds like Kathy Griffin is doing all three of these things, actually.

The comedian who has a long-standing gripe with President Donald Trump, stemming back to when she showcased his severed head, is coming for Trump once again amid her own battle with what is possibly COVID-19. Griffin shared a photo of herself, partially visible with a ventilator mask on, sided with a photo of her view in a hospital bed. Underneath, she shared a screenshot of Trump’s tweet, where he proclaimed that “the United States has done far more “testing” than any other nation, by far!” In fact, this is actually untrue, with the United States lagging behind other countries when it comes to the amount of testing in direct correlation to the amount of people populating the country.

Griffin’s issue is the fact that despite she is in an isolation ward for Coronavirus, she is somehow unable to get tested for the deadly virus due to unexplained (to us) rules from the CDC. She writes on her Instagram caption, “He’s lying. I was sent to the #COVID19 isolation ward room in a major hospital ER from a separate urgent care facility after showing UNBEARABLY PAINFUL symptoms. The hospital couldn’t test me for #coronavirus because of CDC (Pence task force) restrictions.”

North Carolina rapper DaBaby emerged into the mainstream with a vengeance, taking the foundation he laid through a pre-fame mixtape run and expanding on it tenfold. Last year he came through with back to back albums in Baby On Baby and Kirk, the latter proving his versatility with songs like “Intro” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “iPHONE.” And while some have criticized Baby’s seeming unwillingness to switch up the flow, the fact remains that he earned his title as a bonafide fan-favorite, one who continues to rack up numbers at an impressive rate.

With Kirk being certified gold by the RIAA, it would appear that Baby has outdone himself, with Kirk allegedly moving one million album-equivalent units only six months removed from its initial release. Look for the RIAA to confirm the news shortly, once the statistics are assembled and tallied. If that wasn’t enough to confirm his upward trajectory, nullifying the skeptics crying ‘flash in the pan,’ I don’t know what is.

Even as the milestones keep coming, Baby is set on keeping his blade to the grindstone. Yesterday he took to Instagram to preview a melodic new banger, and yes — he did indeed switch the flow. All signs point to yet another release being on the way, though Baby himself has yet to offer up any details on his next studio endeavor. Kodak Black has already been transferred to a different prison because of his complaints earlier this year, moving from Florida to Kentucky. Because of the coronavirus outbreak, he has been moved once more, this time calling New York his home.

Somehow, the 22-year-old rapper has access to a phone behind bars. He has been sharing updates on a regular basis, posting pictures of himself and sharing his postal address for fans to send him mail. Informing his supporters that he is no longer at the Kentucky penitentiary, the recording artist told the world that he was transferred to New York, where he will stay until the coronavirus health crisis ends.

Today is Nike Air Max Day which means Nike is dropping a bunch of, you guessed it, Air Max sneakers. Due to COVID-19, this year’s Air Max celebration doesn’t feel as joyous as years passed but regardless, the show must go on. While the Air Max 90 has been a big focus of this year’s Air Max celebration, Nike has been hinting at some other plans over the past few weeks. We had been reporting on an auto-lacing version of the Air Max called the Adapt LE 01. Today, the shoe dropped in Asia and official images of the “Grey Gum” colorways have surfaced.

As you can see, the shoe features a grey upper with an orange bottom and back heel. Overall, the shoe is quite bulky which makes sense when you consider how there is auto-lacing technology placed inside of the midsole. This shoe will function with either manually or through the App that has been created specifically for Nike’s auto-lacing range.
