Blueface was on his clown sh*t on Friday (June 5th) when he uploaded a video of himself on his Instagram story, asking a sales associate if he could get "that George Floyd discount" while he was buying furniture. The novelty rapper was doing some shopping at LA Furniture as part of what appears to be a brand sponsorship. He shares some clips on his Ig story of himself browsing the store, showing off the different pieces.
He later posted these videos onto his account directly, but it appears he may have deleted one of the clips, in which he makes reference to the recently deceased George Floyd, who was murdered by police in Minneapolis last week. "Ay, could y'all tell 'em to give me that George Floyd discount? "Blueface asks the salespeople in the deleted clip. "I need that Black Lives Matter discount."
Although he did end up taking it down, these jokes definitely didn't sit well with some people, especially since Blueface appears not to have used his platform to bring attention to the issue at hand.
Quavo’s Coronavirus Supermarket Picture Has Post-Apocalyptic Vibes
Migos rapper Quavo went to the supermarket and was met with empty shelves and a whole lot of nothing in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak.
If you’ve been tasked with stocking up on groceries and supplies this week, you know just how dire things are starting to look out there. Walking around the neighborhood, you’ll hear much less chatter than usual. Wandering into the supermarket might remind you of an early episode of The Walking Dead with empty shelves and panic-stricken customers roaming the aisles. Quavo recently took a trip to the store to re-up on goods for himself and Saweetie when he came across a section of the market that had been rummaged and was left with nothing. It made for the perfect post-apocalyptic setting.

We’re not quite there yet but the words “global pandemic” definitely sound as though we’re on our way to a George Orwellian reality. Migos rapper Quavo went shopping in a hoodie and a face mask to protect himself, taking a picture in one of the aisles and perhaps coming through with the spookiest coronavirus-related image yet. The rapper stands in the middle of the row with the majority of items already in the hands of other concerned individuals. Empty shelves and non-essential price tags are all that’s left.
It’s important not to panic during a time like this. Don’t hoard supplies. That’s simply unfair to the people who actually need toilet paper and hand sanitizer. You don’t need forty-seven bottles of Purell laying around, Karen.
Floyd Mayweather Drops $11K On Rare Air Force 1’s: Report
Floyd Mayweather knows how to spend a money, and he reportedly was out shopping in New York City when he decided to cop a few pairs of kicks.
We can only imagine what Floyd Mayweather‘s home closet looks like. Within the last decade, reports state that Mayweather amassed a fortune totaling somewhere around $1 billion. The boxing mogul has traveled the world, is friends with the rich and powerful, and when it comes to purchasing a few items for himself, he can drop a few stacks without batting an eye.

According to TMZ, Floyd and his crew were spotted in New York City visiting Flight Club close to Union Square Park. The outlet captured Mayweather and his entourage as they were leaving the store with multiple bags in tow. The TMT CEO reportedly snagged “multiple pairs of rare Nike Air Force 1’s — coming in at a combined price tag of $11,000.”
TMZ states that Mayweather went all out because there are new TMT sweatsuits on the way and the retired boxer wanted some exclusive kicks to pair with his outfits. To be fair, with the amount of money Floyd likes to flash, some could say that an $11K shopping spree isn’t that big of a deal. However, earlier this month 50 Cent told Ebro Darden that Mayweather will need to return to the ring soon because he’s going broke.
“I think he got to right now because the money gone,” Fif said to a stunned Ebro. “What you think? It’s fight, get the money, spend the money, fight. It’s been two years [since his last fight]. “With that lifestyle, the money’s gone, trust me. Now he’s like…he’ll be at your local hosting in a nightclub because he needs that action right now.”

On Wednesday, The pair were parading around Paris as they shopped at high-end stores, including Jean-Paul Gaultier where Ye chowed down on Kentucky Fried Chicken. The couple shared a few images of their French vacation while they stole away a few moments without their four children. Kim gave her 160 million followers a brief glimpse at the shopping-filled afternoon, but it was a video of the couple in an elevator that made the rounds online.
In the clip, the Wests are seen descending in a glass elevator. They're captured giving each other a smooch before they realize people are watching them. Kanye exits the elevator all smiles and the video ends showing Kim left alone picking up two large bags of clothing by herself as the elevator doors attempt to close with her still inside. The public couldn't help but chuckle at the video and leave their reactions about Ye leaving Kim to fend for herself, so we've included both them and the video below.
Amazon Testing Out System That Allows Customers To Pay By Scanning Their Hands
Amazon is going full dystopia with this one.
Now that’s some Black Mirror sh*t. Amazon is reportedly testing out a new system in which customers would be able to pay for their purchases using just their hands. No, not handing over cash or credit cards, or even using phones to make the payment—just your hands. Customers would scan their hands at physical retail stores at point of sale terminals, where they would then attach their credit card information. These details would then be associated with the hand scan, so that returning customers could simply forego carrying physical forms of payment and just rely on their own anatomy.
“Amazon envisions that customers would first use the terminals to link their debit or credit card information to their hands,” The Wall Street Journal explained. “Customers might insert cards into a terminal and then let the terminal scan their hands. From then on, they would only need to place a hand over the terminal to pay at a participating merchant.” Amazon is reportedly teaming up with Visa and potentially Mastercard for the new system. Card providers JPMorgan Chase and Well Fargo are also reportedly involved with the technological venture. Amazon-owned Whole Foods is said to be the first supermarket chain to partake in the rollout for the new system.
