Trina is on the wrong side of the protests, referring to the people fighting for basic human rights for people of color as "animals" on her radio show with Trick Daddy.
The Love & Hip Hop star has been on the airwaves for several months after announcing that she and her longtime collaborator Trick Daddy would be starting their own radio show. Well, it looks like a lot of people will stop supporting her after she made comments that did not sit well with Black Twitter or anybody that cares about the protests happening this week.
Discussing the current protests, Trina allegedly suggested that the curfews be started earlier in Atlanta so that stores owned by her friends could be protected. She also reportedly referred to the protestors as "animals." That statement got everybody up in arms.

"What trina said was indefensible. i’m not even gonna try to make sense of it, she can go," said a former fan. Others brought up the racist incident that she faced several months ago, being called the n-word by a white woman at a Walmart.
The self-proclaimed "Baddest Bitch" is facing tons of backlash on social media but, regardless, she does not appear to be bothered. She fired back with a couple messages of her own this morning.
"Some of y’all are plain fuckN ignorant and nothing nobody do will help period," she wrote on Twitter. "I’m at work and I’m muthafuckn ready."
Trina & Trick Daddy Have IG Live Battle & It Was Hilariously Out Of Control
Trina and Trick Daddy had their own IG Live Battle, and it was as wild as you'd expect from these two longtime friends.
They weren't going to wait for anyone to give them a platform, so they created their own. Trick Daddy and Trina have been friends and collaborators for decades. They've given us classic favorites like "Nann N*gga," "Shutup," and "Take It To Da House," so instead of jumping on Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's Verzuz train, Trina and Trick Daddy decided to host a friendly Instagram Live Battle of their own.
We may not get a collaborative album from the two of them, but they certainly showed up and showed out on Live. Music fans who are used to seeing the calm energy on Verzuz were hit with absolutely, hilarious chaos with Trick and Trina. There were all sorts of people in both of their Lives, and at one point, Trick even puled out a smoke machine. You couldn't see anything on his end, and when a bit of the smoke cleared, he wasn't even on screen.
There were some live performances and it seems like the two rappers weren't far from each other because Trick reportedly pulled up at Trina's house. The event was fun for fans who were able to sing along to some of their favorite Trick Daddy and Trina tracks, and considering these two have collaborated repeatedly throughout the years, this was more of a joint effort than a battle. We were able to gather some mixed reactions as well as clips of the Live, so you can check all of that out below.

Footage of Trick Daddy's arrest earlier this year for DUI and cocaine possession has been released, showing cops finding a white powdery residue in his dollar bill.
Trick Daddy found himself in a tough spot back in January when cops pulled him over for reckless driving, and he was found to be under the influence and in possession of cocaine. TMZ has gotten ahold of the body cam footage from the cops who arrested Trick Daddy in Miami earlier this year, and the video even shows the moment that the officers found the white powdery substance believed to be cocaine in one of Trick's dollar bills.
The clip begins with the officers approaching Trick's vehicle, where he can be seen sitting in the driver's seat. Trick appears to have bloodshot eyes and a slurred speech while one of the cops questions him about his evening. He confesses to having consumed a few drinks earlier in the evening, "about 2-3 hours ago," but when the officers ask him to perform a sobriety test by attempting to walk in a straight line, he does not successfully complete it. After they handcuff him for driving under the influence, one of the officers begins counting his money, and discovers that a white powdery substance has fallen out of one of the crumpled up dollar bills. Another officer asks Trick, whose real name is Maurice Young, "what is that?" although it's clear what the officers believe it to be: cocaine residue.
He was booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami, but was later released on a $6,000 bond that same day. Trick got clowned for his mugshot from the incident, but went on to reveal that he looks to be in such rough shape because he's been suffering from lupus.
Trick Daddy Goes Off Over Catfishing & Finances In Impassioned Tirade
Trick Daddy is not impressed with women who lack financial literacy.
Even if it is Easter morning, that did not stop Trick Daddy from getting some thoughts off of his chest. The rapper hit social media with a video where he simply went off about women on the 'Gram who own nice watches and cars but don't actually have any property or assets to their name. "If I see another bitch on social media showin' a AP watch and bitch, you stay at an apartment. You don't own a house. Bitch, I'mma rob you, hoe" he yelled at the camera.
Earl Gibson III/Getty ImagesIt's unclear what prompted this rant but clearly, this is something that's been weighing on his mind for quite some time. He continued to blast this group of women for getting men to buy them watches and foreign vehicles but still paying rent. "You don't impress me. Y'all hoes better wake up. 'Cause Your AP lost value as soon as you walked it out the mothafuckin' jewelry store," he added before sharing some wise words about the First Time Home-buyer program.
"A lot of you hoes act all cute and prissy and think you know everything, ya pussy is not worth how you look. That's what a Catfish is. Y'all think catfish is a hoe take a picture in at an angle. Suck her tummy in. That's not a catfish. Catfish is you hoes that act bad, look bad, dress in designer and your pussy smell like dead fish," he added.
"That's what a catfish is," according to Trick Daddy.
Trick Daddy Goes Off On Trina’s Former Manager: "Imma Break Your Jaw"
Trick Daddy wasn’t playing any games with Trina’s former business partner Julian Boothe who Trina claims scammed her out of money meant for her album.
One place where a fight is guaranteed to take place is a Love & Hip Hop reunion special. The Miami cast is finishing up their latest season, and the reunion didn’t disappoint. Hosted by Fox Soul‘s Claudia Jordan, the Love & Hip Hop Miami cast joined together to look back on the ins and outs of their drama-filled season.
Julilan Boothe, manager to Trina and Amara La Negra, has faced some serious accusations. Trina claimed that Jullian, her business partner, scammed her after he stole money that was supposed to be spent on her last album, The One. During the reunion, Jullian came face-to-face with his accusers, and the conversation sent Trick Daddy over the edge.
After leaving the stage, an irate Trick Daddy returned and let his frustrations be felt. “Stop playin’ crazy like you don’t know what the f*ck is going on,” Trick said. “You remember selling songs of mine overseas?” At first, Jullian asks him what he’s talking about. Then he asks Trick, “Did you not get paid every dollar?” “No!” the rapper replies.
“Man, Imma break your jaw soon as I get a chance,” Trick continues. “You a **** ass liar… Sittin’ up here lying. I’ll make you leave Miami ****!” More expletives were shouted by Trick Daddy while Julian sat in stunned silence. Check out Trick Daddy lay down the law below.
Trick Daddy’s Sick & Tired Of Being In Quarantine
With both phones charged, clothes cleaned, and a bunch of ones, Trick Daddy is unsure what to do with himself as the Coronavirus spreads.
Social distancing is driving a few people to madness including Trick Daddy. The Miami legend hit the ‘Gram today expressing his disdain towards social distancing and being in quarantine in an epic rant that touched on deeper topics. “I’m sick of this shit,” he said. “I’m sick of the whole quarantining thing. I’m sick of it, yo. Got the strip club closed. Got a thousand mothafuckin’ ones that I done had for a mothafuckin’ two and a half weeks. Okay?”
Things began to escalate further as Trick detailed the list of chores he’s accomplished such as picking up all of his clothes from the dry cleaners and charging both of his phones. However, even with his clothes cleaned and his phones charged, he has nowhere to go. “I got both of my phones charged for the first time in my mothafuckin’ life and then everybody talkin’ ’bout, ‘it’s just a lockdown.’ No, that’s not a fuckin’ lockdown. That’s not a lockdown! This is a major fuckin’ problem. You tryna control us,” he continued. “What’s lockdown is all my n***as that’s in the county jail, the federal penitentiary, the state penitentiary. That’s on lockdown.”
It should be noted that Trick Daddy has been open about his lupus diagnosis in the past, making him part of a vulnerable group that’s at greater risk of contracting the virus, according to LupusResearch.org.
Stevie J Slams "LHHMIA" Ladies For Bad Makeup & Lace Front Wigs
Stevie J called out the ladies of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” for rocking bad lace front wigs and makeup, leading Trick Daddy to make a response of his own.
Stevie J is considered to be a veteran of VH1’s popular Love & Hip Hop franchise, so it grabbed a lot of people’s attention today when he slammed the ladies of Love & Hip Hop: Miami for their less-than-stellar choices when it comes to hair and makeup.
Thaddaeus McAdams/Getty Images“Good morning! Ladies retire those lace fronts from love n hip hop Miami! Except PM,” Stevie wrote on Twitter, making sure to exclude cast member PreMadonna for his public shaming. He went on to add, “Fire hair & make up immediately, have our beautiful Sisters looking nuts out here!” Many were quick to comment once it hit The Shade Room, including PreMadonna herself who wrote, “Except Premadonna! that’s right Stevie …cause one thing for sure you know my hair be laid !!!” One person who wasn’t so thrilled by his words was LHHMIA star Trick Daddy, who sent his own video response filled with threats towards Stevie J. Let’s just hope that two music veterans in hip-hop culture don’t start beefing over the cosmetic care of ladies. That’s definitely not gangsta!
Take a look at what Stevie J and Trick Daddy both had to say below, and let us know if you think they should stay out of grown women’s business down below in the comments:
Trick Daddy Slams Claims That His Miami Restaurant Was Shot Up
After TheShadeRoom claimed that Trick Daddy's restaurant in Miami was shot up, the rapper has cleared the air once and for all.
Rumors circulated in the past few hours that a shooting occurred at Trick Daddy's Sunday Eatery in Miami but he has personally put those allegations to rest. Trick Daddy hopped on Instagram TV where he made it clear that there was no shooting at his actual restaurant and that they are currently open for business.
"I don't know what TheShadeRoom talkin' about. If y'all believe the mothafuckin' ShadeRoom, y'all gotta be fuckin' crazy," he said before showing the line-up outside and the restaurant's menu. "When I find out which one of you mothafuckas at TheShadeRoom puttin' up that false shit 'bout my mothafuckin' restaurant, I'mma slap the shit out you, bitch ass n***a. I'm tellin' you now, better take that sh*t down."
TheShadeRoom initially reported that a man ran into Trick Daddy's restaurant and let off shots with one injured in the incident. Trick Daddy clarified that wasn't the case at all. He stated that someone actually got shot in the area and went to Trick Daddy's restaurant immediately after as a safe place to hide.
"I don't know what they got goin' on. We wide ass open," he said. "Yeah, that shit happened across the street. The man ain't have no safe place to go. We let the man in. Simple as that."

Trick Daddy & Ex Joy Throw His New Bae Nikki Out On "L&HH" To Twitter’s Delight
Never a dull moment on "L&HH."
Ever since Trick Daddy's new girlfriend, Nikki Natural, made her debut on Love & Hip Hop: Miami as an aspiring rapper who is a fraction of Trick's age, she has definitely not been a fan favourite. Not only were Trick and Nikki dragged for their massive age difference, but Nikki also claimed to be celibate, which seems unlikely if a supposed discovery from Monday's episode turns out to be true. Nikki was already in very few people's good graces after getting disrespectful with Trina on an earlier episode, but now it looks like even Trick wants nothing to do with her. During an argument about the Trina incident, Trick's estranged wife, Joy Young, revealed that she had it on good authority that Nikki had previously been involved with rapper and fellow cast member, Brisco, only two weeks prior when Trick and Nikki were already seeing each other.
Though Nikki denies this claim, Trick chooses to believe the woman he's known for 20 years instead. In a rage, Trick kicks Nikki to the curb with Joy's support, seemingly signalling the end of their short-lived romance. As usual, avid L&HH viewers took to Twitter to share their reactions, practically everyone dragging Nikki.
Trick Daddy’s New Boo Nikki Natural Gets Dragged For Disrespecting Trina On "L&HH Miami"
Twitter has spoken: don't f*ck with Trina.
The premiere of the third season of Love & Hip Hop: Miami last week was the onscreen debut of Trick Daddy's latest relationship with aspiring rapper, Nikki Natural. The two were getting clowned for their significant age difference and for Nikki's supposed celibacy, but Trick and Nikki (Trikki?) are more focused on how to get her rap career off the ground. However, it looks like Nikki got a little too bold in her attempts to have her voice heard and get her music out there, because she quite literally tried to steal the spotlight from seasoned Miami rapper and fellow costar, Trina. In a clip from the tumultuous second episode of the season, Nikki can be seen trying to grab the mic from Trina mid-performance.
The audacity. Trina is understandably shook but manages to keep her grip on the mic as she tells Nikki to "fall back" repeatedly. Not only did Nikki get disrespectful with her actions, she expressed some less than loving thoughts about Trina as a rapper, as well. In another scene, Nikki and Trick are discussing the incident and Trick asks Nikki a leading question: "Trina is successful in the music business?"
Nikki responds with, "she aight," which is clearly not the answer he was looking for. She continues with, "Her last album ain't do good," to which Trick points out that she is in no position to critique Trina. "You talking bout some 'last album,' what your first album did?" he asks. She tells him that her first album will do "motherf*ckin' amazing, I bet." Trick gets frustrated and proceeds to lat it all out for her. "If you ever wanna be a rapper that came from Miami, and you don't respect Trina, you ain't never gonna be sh*t." The clip ends with Nikki stating that, "I do respect Trina, do she respect me is the question." Fans were quick to point out that she didn't exactly display any type of respect when she tried to snatch the mic out of Trina's hands, many saying she was out of line and acted entitled. Others also insisted Trina should have retaliated more aggressively.
