Travis Scott resale tickets plummet in price due to “low demand”

Re-sale tickets for Travis Scott shows are currently available for unusually low prices after scalpers reportedly overestimated demand. READ MORE: Travis Scott – ‘Utopia’ review: lofty concept, shaky execution Back in August, the rapper announced the ‘Circus Maximus’ tour – his first headline run of the United States since the 2021 Astroworld tragedy. However, according to independent tech publication 404 Media, overbuying of face value tickets due to inaccurate forecasts of resale demand has led to prices tanking on the ticket marketplace StubHub. Advertisement At the time of publishing, a listing for Scott’s Raleigh, North Carolina show on October 13 showed tickets on sale for as low as $14 (£11.43), compared to a $61.50 (£53.20) face value price. Re-sale prices for shows appear to go up in price as the tour goes on. According to writer Jason Koebler, part of the rush to buy tickets was fuelled by a bet placed by PFS Buyers Club, a site where members are “offered exclusive deals to earn money for helping us source limited edition items”, according to the website. Koebler reported that PFS itself could lose more than $1million (£816,815), while members, who were allegedly told they’d get reimbursed along with a $25… Read More →

But it all depends. Maybe he’s been in, like, decade[-long] relationships.” Advertisement Later in the podcast, Bilson walked back her comments, adding, “No, I don’t know, it’s not fair for me to say either way,” and that “a person is a person”. Advertisement “When I’m working on an album with The Bad Seeds, I occasionally record a song alone at the piano,” he wrote. “Stylistically, these songs usually sit outside the new record and they are generally fragmentary things, circular in shape, softly sung, unspectacular and unformed. There is little love for them from the band, and they aren’t strong enough to compete with the larger, more imposing songs – consequently they tend to fall by the wayside.” “When I listen back to the recordings, I’ll come across one or two of these… Read More →
