Robert Plant says the idea of reuniting Led Zeppelin doesn’t “satisfy my need to be stimulated”

Robert Plant has discussed playing Led Zeppelin songs live and the idea of reuniting the band, saying it wouldn’t “satisfy my need to be stimulated”. Woman testifies she was abused by R. Kelly in infamous sex tape, had sex “hundreds” of times when she was a minor

Content warning: This article discusses the alleged sexual abuse of a minor. A woman has identified herself as the underage girl in the footage that formed the basis of R. Kelly‘s child pornography trial in the 2000s, telling a courtroom she was repeatedly sexually abused by the singer while she was a minor. As the Chicago Tribune reports, the woman appeared in a Chicago federal court on Thursday (August 18) to give testimony in the disgraced R&B singer’s current trial, in which he is charged with 13 counts of production of child pornography, conspiracy to produce child pornography and conspiracy to obstruct justice. The singer has denied all accusations. Identified only as Jane, the woman told the court that she was 14 years old when she first had sexual contact with Kelly – whose full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly – after meeting him approximately a year earlier. Music NFT startup HitPiece relaunches with artist partners months after being labelled a scam

The music NFT company HitPiece has relaunched months after it was accused by artists and industry organisations of being a “scam”. The company claimed back in February that its service “let fans collect NFTs of your favourite songs”, and offered NFTs tied to albums and songs from the likes of The Beatles, Taylor Swift, and Bob Dylan, as well as smaller, less established acts. HitPiece relaunched last week with new artist partnerships and industry ties, moving out of its test beta stage. According to founder Rory Felton, the brand has signed deals with young artists and producers, including producer ATL Jacob and rappers and singers Lil Gnar and Lil Gotit. Hard-Fi announce Manchester reunion show for next month

Hard-Fi have announced a special Manchester reunion show next month – tickets will be available from here. Earlier this year, the Staines band confirmed that they’d be reforming for their first gig since 2014. That performance will take place at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on October 1, and sold out within 10 minutes of going on sale. Turnstile have announced they are parting ways with guitarist Brady Ebert after 12 years together.
