50 Cent Secures Roddy Ricch For Posthumous Pop Smoke Album, Waiting On Drake

50 Cent is getting the ball rolling on executive producing Pop Smoke’s posthumous album.

On Sunday (Mar. 1), 50 Cent revealed his plan to executive produce Pop Smoke’s posthumous album. It appears 50 got his hands on the late Brooklyn rapper’s unreleased songs, which inspired him to polish them off and share them with the world. 50 has been openly mourning the loss of Pop Smoke, who was a friend and fellow NYC artist with a ferocious voice and drive. 50’s passion for the cause definitely makes him well-fitted to put the finishing touches on what may be considered as Pop Smoke‘s first official debut album. The head of Pop’s label, Steven Victor, has confirmed that 50 has been handed over the reins for this role.

The TV mogul has already started holding casting calls for the project on his IG page, where he handles most of his affairs. After first announcing that he was on the hunt for a Roddy Ricch feature, “The Box” hitmaker responded that he is ready to report for duty. 50 then sent out his next request for Drake to appear as a guest, simultaneously taking a little jab at him. “See i got @roddyricch on deck, this shit gonna be stupid ?‍♂️ @champagnepapi where you at n****, don’t start acting light skinned on us.” Despite this playful call-out, Drake would probably be honored to contribute to the Pop Smoke album, as he has expressed great respect for him in the past

Another New Drake Track Surfaces With "Not Around"

More new music by Drake surfaces online, this time with a song titled “Not Around” which features a beat produced by Pi’erre Bourne.

The word “leak” has been synonymous with Drake for what’s felt like weeks now, first with his Detox reference track for Dr. Dre, followed by The Weeknd’s demo of “Practice” and most notably by his own admission with the double play of “When To Say When” and “Chicago Freestyle.” Now, we’ve got yet another Drizzy banger assisted by Pi’erre Bourne production titled “Not Around.”

This one definitely appears to be an unofficial leak, which sees Drizzy giving bars to an unnamed stripper fling that he tricked on at one point and used to make pornos with until she “got morals n’sh*t.” Pi’erre provides a dreamy instrumental complimented by the now-standard hi-hat, and even his son Adonis gets a shoutout as well, proving that Drake is finally feeling more comfortable with publicly embracing fatherhood.

Listen to “Not Around” by Drake right now over on SoundCloud. Until the next one!

Quotable Lyrics:

I make it rain in this b*tch
I make it snow in this b*tch
She tryna get out of the mix
Shawty is going legit (Shawty is going legit)
Me, I’m supporting this sh*t
This is a story
It came from my life, and I’m just recording this sh*t
Imma just give it to you direct instead of me throwing this sh*t
You know you important n’sh*t
You know I’m supporting this sh*t
We used to do pornos when you would come over but now you got morals n’sh*t
I got, like, four on the wrist
And an adorable kid
I got a drac’ in the studio and I don’t just mean that I’m in this b*tch

Drake Gets Dragged Online For Michael Jackson Lyric In New Song

Drake's MJ line could have two meanings.

Everything Drake does is put under a pretty big microscope. He can't drop a bar without expecting people to dissect it in every way. The Toronto superstar dropped two new songs this weekend, “Chicago Freestyle” and “When to Say When.” The latter features a bar that set Michael Jackson fans off, while others think that Drake is defending himself from rumors.

The line in question goes, “Michael Jackson shit, but the palace is not for kids / Still women sayin’ it’s childish the way we live." The Twitterverse went in on Drizzy.

Several others online thought it was a clever way for Drake to address the Millie Bobby Brown and Billie Eilish rumors online. Drake has been criticized for having friendships with both girls, who are underage. Drake is anticipated to drop a new album in 2020. The arrival of two new songs confirms this rumor, and the fact that Drizzy didn't drop anything in 2019 adds fuel to the "album dropping soon" fire. Do you think Drake's bar about Michael Jackson was disrespectful? Or was it just a clever use of wordplay to defend himself against rumors? Sound off below.

The Weeknd’s Demo Of Drake’s "Practice" Surfaces

The Weeknd’s version of Drake’s “Practice” has hit the internet.

Earlier today (Feb. 29), audio of The Weeknd‘s demo version of Drake‘s hit single “Practice” popped up on Soundcloud. Now, the leaked version of the song has rekindled the conversation about how much the “Blinding Lights” singer might have actually contributed to Drake’s sophomore musical offering, Take Care (2011). Fans of both artists have fought in the past about how impactful The Weeknd’s contributions were on the album and now, it looks like we’re going to get another round of Abel vs. Aubrey: The Take Care Saga.  The Weeknd's Demo Of Drake's "Practice" Surfaces Ollie Millington/WireImage/Getty Images

According to The Weeknd, he gave up a total of four songs that were supposed to be used for his iconic House of Balloons (2011) mixtape. Those songs included “Crew Love,” “Shot For Me,” and “The Ride” for Drizzy’s 2011 effort. Years later during Take Care‘s six-year anniversary a fan commented on a Complex Instagram post claiming The Weeknd wrote the album to which the Toronto rapper swiftly replied:

“Abel CO WROTE on Shot For Me and Practice, obviously was featured on Crew Love and The Ride and that’s it…there’s 20 songs on that album…don’t try me.”

Now, with the arrival of The Weeknd’s reference track for “Practice” where he harmonizes “you been waiting for me” and “Practice” a couple of times make the actual final version, we’ve all heard and have become accustomed to today. The Weeknd and Drake have one of those complex business and personal relationships that the general public will probably never get the opportunity to truly understand. Regardless, both artists are immensely talented and created some timeless records together.

Listen to The Weeknd’s demo track of “Practice” in the streaming link provided below and check out all of Drake and The Weeknd’s collabs, here.

Drake Gifts Matthew Williams A 40-Carat COBRA Buckle Chain

Drake Gifts 1017 ALYX 9SM’s Matthew M Williams with a 40-carat COBRA buckle Rollercoaster chain.

Drake, who boasts one of the most impressive jewelry games within the culture, recently gifted ALYX 9SM’s Matthew M Williams a 40-carat, diamond-encrusted chain. With watches that cost more than the average American house and a one-of-one customized Toronto Raptors Championship ring, the “Life Is Good” rapper knows a piece of quality jewelry when he sees one and decided to share the wealth with the Chicago-bred fashion designer and 1017 ALYX 9SM founder, Matthew M. Williams.

For those of you unaware of Matthew Williams’ work, he debuted his women’s ALYX Autumn Winter collection in 2015 and later found a menswear line consisting of all of your fashion needs from formal wear to streetwear, footwear, accessories, and more. However, it was Williams’ patented designed COBRA belt buckles that have allowed him to work with the likes of Moncler, Nike, Audemars Piguet, and more. Throughout his journey in the fashion realm, he was able to develop a relationship with Drake, who’s become quite the designer himself

While the details on their relationship are fuzzy at the moment, the two obviously have some type of bond for the Canadian emcee to gift him with this amount of drip. Williams’ brand new chain comes in the form of 1017 ALYX 9SM’s signature COBRA buckle Rollercoaster design, is completely platinum and features over 40-carats of flawless white diamonds. The chain was executed Jason of Beverly Hills.

While Matthew M. Williams’ chain is dope, does it compare to Kid Cudi‘s Takashi Murakami “Kiki” chain designed by Ben Baller? Check out Matthew Williams’ 1017 ALYX 9SM’s signature COBRA buckle Rollercoaster chain gifted by Drake in the photos and videos provided below.

Drake Confirms Netflix’s “Top Boy” To Return For A Second Season

“We Baaaaaack” – Drake.

Drake may not have released a ton of new music last year but he did have his hands on several major film and television projects that were released to critical acclaim. Among them was the Netflix series Top Boy, which we’ve learned is coming back for another season.

Drake shared the news on his Instagram last night, sharing the show’s full script, including the episode 201 which is titled “Killing No Murder.” He added to the excitement by writing, “WE BAAAAAAAACK @topboynetflix.”

Speaking about Drake’s involvement with the show, show’s actor Michael Ward told NME: “He came to the first read-through and spoke and that was mad motivating. But what was weird was I saw him at Wireless… and then less than 24 hours later I’m chatting to Dave and Drake’s walking in. This whole process, for me, has been surreal. You couldn’t even write it.”

Top Boy isn’t the only TV show Drake was involved in last year. The rapper also served as an executive producer on HBO’s hit Euphoria, which was named as another one of the best TV shows. We’ll keep you posted moving forward.

Megan Thee Stallion Lap-Dances To Drake & Chris Brown

Megan Thee Stallion gets down and dirty to Drake and Chris Brown’s hit single “No Guidance,” twerking on one of her friends.

You got it, girl, you got it. Megan Thee Stallion is one of the premier ass-shakers on the planet, proving that time and time again with her insane displays during live-streams and in her live show. While she has established herself as a fearsome emcee from the South, the Houston-bred talent also carries a ton of sex appeal, truly serving as the total package. During a recent display, Hot Girl Meg listened to the hit collaborative single from Chris Brown and Drake, “No Guidance,” and felt a sudden urge to get on top of her male friend for a lap dance, twerking on him and making every dude in the world wish they were on the receiving end.

Rocking ice blue cornrows, Stalli hopped on top of her friend and started going to town, dropping it low and moving each cheek to the beat of the music. The soundtrack was perfect, with Drake’s clear vocals ringing in the background. Singing “you got it, girl, you got it” seemed to get Megan even more in the mood to be as sensual as possible.

At this point, Megan Thee Stallion basically has no competition. Perhaps Nicki Minaj is in the running for best twerker in the country after her recent moves but Stalli seemingly has this one in the bag.

Drake Trolled By Wizards After Trash Talk Backfires

The Washington Wizards' social team was ready to pounce on Drake after the Bucks secured victory over the Raptors.

Prior to Tuesday night's nationally televised showdown between the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors, Drake was spotted talking trash to Robin Lopez with a WWE championship belt slung over his shoulder. As a warning for what the Raptors were about to do to the NBA-leading Bucks, Drizzy could be heard yelling, "This ain't the Wizards, baby!" Unfortunately for Drake, his prediction could not have been more wrong and he was eating his words at the end of the night.

Not only did the Bucks pick up a double-digit victory on the road, the Washington Wizards social media manager also rubbed it by tweeting, "how'd that go for him?" in response to a video of Drizzy's trolling ways.

Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee to victory at Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday with a 19 & 19 double-double to go along with eights assists and three blocks. Following the 108-97 win, Giannis explained that he was motivated to take control of the game, the team's first matchup in Toronto since losing Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals last May.

"You always remember the last time you played here, the feelings you had," Antetokounmpo said, per ESPN. "It was definitely on my mind."

As a result of Tuesday's performance, the Bucks improved their NBA-best record to 50-8. Of the six teams to start a season 50-8, five have gone on to win the NBA title, with the lone exception being the 2016 Golden State Warriors who, as we know, blew a 3-1 lead.

Drake Started Trash Talking Bucks Before Raptors Game Even Started

Drake's courtside antics at tonight's Bucks-Raptors game included carrying two WWE belts into the arena which appears to a jab at Giannis.

Drake's dedication to the Toronto Raptors is unlike most fans but sometimes, his fandom seems to be a bit extra. At the same time, you got to applaud just how far he'll go to remind everyone else that his city holds the NBA Championship title. Tonight, the Milwaukee Bucks face the Raptors in Toronto and Drake was early to the game. Not only did he walk in with Chubbs on his side but also with two WWE Championship belts strapped onto his shoulders.

"I brought these for the mascot, you know what I'm sayin'?" Drake said as he strutted through the Scotiabank Arena. "We got our own belts too." Of course, it didn't end there. He really gave the belts to the mascot as he sat courtside yelling, "This ain't the Wizards, baby!" Drake's heckling appeared to get under Robin Lopez' skin who gave Drake the staredown. This also warranted a quick response from the Wizards' official Twitter account.

Bringing the WWE belts to the game appeared to be a shot at Giannis who was seen carrying one over his shoulder yesterday as he and his teammates had a WWE-style wrestling match against the mascot. It's unclear if Giannis has responded to Drake yet but there did appear to be an exchange between the two during the game recently. Peep the clips below.

Drake’s Earrings Have Women Ready To Risk It All

Drake debuted his ultra-shiny diamond earrings at a recent Toronto Raptors game and let's just say ladies love him even more now.

Although some basketball analysts predicted the Toronto Raptors would tank this season after losing Kawhi Leonard, the defending NBA Champions are actually striving, going on a historic winning spree and enjoying one of the best records in the association. Drake is affiliated with the team, always popping up in his courtside seats when he's in T-Dot. Lately, he debuted a new look and, while it got clowned by Lil Baby and a few of his other friends, the ladies are absolutely digging it. Yes, we're talking about his very shiny diamond earrings.

Drake decided to get some mountainous studs in his earlobes, completing his look and getting women across the globe to swoon over him to an even more ferocious degree. While some people aren't a fan of the look, his recent appearance at the Raptors vs. Suns game this weekend gave everyone a close-up at the diamonds gracing his ears, causing a bunch of girls to react feverishly on social media.

"Drake just went from a 10 to a 100 w them earrings," wrote one commenter. "This video should have come with a warning," added another. Clearly, people are feeling the vibes, and women are ready to drop their entire lives just for a single moment with the Champagne Papi. What do you think of his new earrings?

600Breezy Shares Why He Wouldn’t Sign Record Deal With Drake

600Breezy doesn’t think that artists should sign to rappers who have active careers because there’s a “hidden agenda” behind it.

Artists are excited when industry professionals and label executives express interest in giving them a record deal, but not all that glitters is gold. For decades we’ve listened to stories about artists being taken advantage of, and rapper 600Breezy recently shared some advice to rappers during his interview with DJ Smallz.

600 Breezy said the biggest mistake artists make is “signing to other rappers.” He added, “He gotta do his job, too. Like, he’s still rapping. You gotta sign to somebody that don’t wanna be the person that you are or don’t want to hold you down to not get bigger than them. You sign to another rapper it’s always a hidden agenda there.”

There have been “plenty of times” when label-owning rappers have attempted to ink deals with 600Breezy, but he said he’s had to turn them down. “If it’s like, a rapper that’s not rappin’ no more or don’t really care about it, it’d be cool,” he continued. “But not an active rapper. Everybody seen me with Drake all the time. I wasn’t signed to Drake, bro. ‘Cause at the end of the day, he’s still an artist. If I signed to him, he’s gon’ sign me to a label. I would have other people over and it ain’t gon’ be like I’m dealing with him. He’s still on the road doing shows, making albums. So, if you sign to him and he’s really who you singed to and you gotta do the professional part, too, they ain’t gon’ get nowhere ’cause he gotta focus on himself.”

Another mistake that artists make is “taking bullsh*t deals” like “360s.” Artists who take advances for a number of albums over a certain number of years is also something that he warns against. “That’s where everybody f*ck up at.” Watch 600Breezy talk about Drake and share other thoughts about the industry below.

Drake "Detox" Reference Track For Dr. Dre Leaks

Drake was writing songs for Dr. Dre’s long-lost album “Detox” and one of his reference tracks leaked over the weekend.

Above all else, Drake is an extremely talented songwriter who can convey basically any emotion in his music. His writing ability has been criticized in the past, especially during the Quentin Miller saga, but it’s clear that this man is skilled with the pen. When Dr. Dre‘s long-awaited Detox album was still a thing, it was reported that the mega-producer was working with Drake on a few songs for the project, including the title track. Well, the reference track that was recorded for Dre has allegedly leaked and fans are unsure of how to proceed.

While we’re unable to provide information on how to find the leaked reference track for “Detox,” it has been reported that it is on the internet somewhere. In addition to that, the reference for PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Don’t Run” also appeared online this weekend, including a shot at The Weeknd that didn’t make the final cut.

Judging by the timeline of the creation of Detox, which is apparently never going to see the light of day, the reference track in question was likely recorded in the early 2000s. This isn’t the first time the Canadian superstar has suffered from his unreleased music being leaked online. Despite having endless resources at his label, he still finds himself on the wrong end of things like this from time to time. We can’t tell you where the leaks are but they’re seemingly out there.

Drake Vows Next Album Will Be Shorter Than "Scorpion"

Drake is aiming for his sixth studio album to be more of a "realistic offering."

There were mixed reactions when Drake dropped his double album, Scorpion, in 2018. While some fans embraced "the more the merrier" philosophy, others felt inundated by its 25 tracks. There have been some iconic double albums throughout music history, but it's no easy feat to pull off. When not executed properly, they can attract criticism for lacking careful curation and dumping a bunch of material in hope that something sticks. In the streaming era, projects that hover in the 20-song range are also often viewed as ploys to boost numbers and revenue. I'm not saying that Scorpion is guilty of any of these things, but I am saying there are people out there who will be pleased to learn that Drake's next album will be significantly shorter.

While chilling courtside at the Toronto Raptors-Phoenix Suns game on Friday (Feb. 22), Drake spoke to TSN announcers about what has been going on in his life recently. As we could have suspected, The 6 God has been busy cooking up his sixth studio album, which he hopes to keep compact. "I've been doing this for like 10+ years as well... Sometimes you need to set a target goal for yourself just to keep it interesting," the rapper said. "Last album, I went high volume. I did two sides. It was like 20-something songs, which is a lot of songs. This album I'll probably make it more of a realistic offering. Something more concise. It could be 10, 11 songs - 16."

While Drizzy is shooting for shorter, he explained why it would be difficult for him to craft a project that could fit the template of the Kanye-produced albums of Summer 2018. "I also do a lot of different types of music, so it's tough to make it like a seven song album." In conclusion, Drake said that he's "having a lot of fun" working on #D6 and that's a great sign.

Drake Shows His $620,000 Roulette Watch In Action

Drake and friends gamble on his wrist at dinner.

Just a few days ago, Drake flexed on us with his massive Toronto Raptors championship ring. Now, he's back to make us feel poor by showing off his new $620,000 Jacob & Co. watch that has been attracting much attention

Drizzy first teased that this timepiece was on the horizon when he shared a photo a couple weeks back of his rendez-vous at Jacob & Co. The limited edition watch has made its big debut on his IG and people are dazzled by its imaginative design. Its face consists of a functioning roulette wheel, hence the model name of Astronomia Casino. As if doubling as a roulette wheel wasn't impressive enough, the watch has an arm with a diamond on it that turns over every 30 seconds to best display its 288 facets.

While you may have already seen this new addition to The 6 God's ever-expanding jewelry collection, he has advertised its features once again. Drake is using the watch to its full potential, entertaining dinner guests by placing friendly bets on his transportable gambling device. It's unclear whether the videos on Drake's Instagram Story were taken in his home, but if so, he has a massive kitchen island and multiple chefs preparing his meals. Would you expect anything less from a man with a $620,000 watch?

Drake Playfully Disses Quavo & Justin Bieber During Raptors Game

Drake engaged in some lighthearted trash-talk about his recent basketball opponents Quavo and Justin Bieber while doing on-air commentary at the Toronto Raptors game on Friday.

Drake took a playful dig at Quavo and Justin Bieber while providing commentary during the Toronto Raptors game this weekend, after the three stars battled it out on the court in New York recently. The certified Raptors superfan and global ambassador took his usual courtside spot at the Toronto Raptors vs. Phoenix Suns game on Friday night to cheer on his favourite team.

He was even given the opportunity to go on air and offer up some commentary during the game. Though he spent a good portion of the game giving the Raptors encouragement while occasionally taking digs at some of the players, he took a brief moment to rip on Quavo and Justin Bieber. The "Intentions"-collaborators recently went head to head with Drake in a star-studded pick-up game, as Quavo was training for the NBA All Star Celebrity Game last weekend. Drizzy decided to stir up some drama, though all in good fun, of course.

"We don't wanna talk about scrubs on the air though, you know what I mean?" he said, in reference to his recent opponents. "Quavo and Bieber. How dare you?" In the same clip, Drake could later be seen doing a little salsa dance in celebration of the Raptors scoring. The Raptors went on to win 118-101, proving that maybe Drake should be part of the broadcast more often.

Drake And Benny The Butcher Are Dropping A Track

Benny The Butcher and Drake are gearing up to spit some bars on a new collaboration, set to arrive as soon as possible.

During the 2019 Holiday Season, Drake spoke rather highly of the Griselda movement during his interview with Rap Radar. “In a mainstream space I feel like the art of bars and that traditional long verse is kind of going extinct,” he reflected, chopping it up with Elliot Wilson and B. Dot Miller. “Then you got guys like Griselda making it wavy again to be on your gutter, straight rap shit. The interesting structures — that gutter shit.” When Miller asked if a Drake and Benny The Butcher collaboration was a possibility, Drizzy took a sip of his wine. “I’m down. Benny showed me love one time in an interview. He did show me love.”

Though Westside Gunn, Conway, and Benny are used to high-profile co-signs — they’ve already been endorsed by Eminem, J. Cole, Jay-Z, Raekwon, Royce Da 5’9″, and Ghostface — many were excited to see Drake showing love to such a bar-centric collective. Especially those who value Drake getting back on his BS, spazzing on lyrical slow burners like “Omerta.” While there’s certainly a strategic benefit of securing the Drake feature, as seen for Lil Baby, Blocboy JB, and even Migos, the Griselda trifecta have already established themselves as key players in the game without Aubrey’s blessing. Be that as it may, the idea of these particular worlds colliding is enticing on a purely stylistic level.

Drake And Benny The Butcher Are Dropping A Track

As luck would have it, what started as a what-if fantasy has become a reality. Seizing the opportunity presented by Drake’s Rap Radar interview, Benny The Butcher stepped up and slid an instrumental to Drizzy’s camp, the confirmation of a full-scale collaboration all but locked in. Taking to social media to fan the flames of hype, The Butcher made is known that the wheels are in motion. “Sent Drake a record and I kno imma wanna drop it as soon as he send it back,” he wrote, in a screencap captured by Elliot Wilson (the man who may have inadvertently helped spark this unexpected friendship in the first place).

To make things even more exciting, Drake slid into the comments with a simple Typewriter emoji, roughly translated to “I’m writing as we speak.” Of course, going toe to toe on wax with Benny The Butcher is no easy feat — one must bring their best bars to the table, and in no small dose. Benny is used to lyrically trading with the likes of Conway The Machine, another formidable wordsmith. While Drake is certainly competitive, a collaboration with Benny might be the biggest challenge he’s faced in a minute. On the other hand, it might be exactly what the game needs right now — a reminder that when inspired to do so, the 6ix God can spit at elite levels. No matter how things turn out, it’ll be exciting to see whether he’s capable of keeping strides with The Butcher on Benny’s home turf.

Concrete details surrounding the track are scarce. We can speculate that it will be produced by Daringer or Alchemist, but that’s about it. All we know is that, much like The Butcher himself, it’s coming.

Drake Pays Respect To Pop Smoke

Rappers have been paying their respect to Pop Smoke who was shot and killed during a home invasion in Los Angeles on early Wednesday morning.

The Pop Smoke tributes have been pouring in on social media today following the tragic death of the “Christopher Walking” rapper. Drake hit the ‘Gram earlier today to pay his respect. Although it’s unclear if the two had a relationship, Drake issued a message to his followers in wake of the young rapper’s death and paid his respects at the same time.

Drake Pays Respect To Pop Smoke

“Sit by some good energy tonight in these unwelcoming times,” Drake wrote on his Instagram Story. “Be with some good people and express how grateful you are for whatever it is you have… RIP POP.”

Along with Drake, other artists like Meek Mill, 50 Cent, and Nicki Minaj paid their condolences to the late rapper on social media.

Pop Smoke was shot and killed this morning during what police said was a home invasion at a rental property in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, four masked men broke into the rapper’s home and fired shots at Pop Smoke, leaving him with critical wounds. The rapper was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Pop Smoke was one of the leading figures in Brooklyn’s drill scene. Fresh off of the release of his debut album Meet The Woo 2, the rapper’s debut album launched to number 7 on the Billboard 200. The project cemented him as one of New York’s next biggest stars.

Snoop Dogg Declares Drake & Pusha T Beef A "Draw"

Snoop Dogg shatters Pusha T’s win by declaring the feud with Drake as a “draw” since everyone was dancing to Kiki.

Snoop Dogg believes that Pusha T and Drake were actually neck-in-neck during their 2018 feud. The West Coast legend sat down with Michael Rapaport this past week on GGN News they touched on the topic of Drake and Pusha T‘s beef. Drake’s even declared Pusha T the winner in that bout but Snoop Dogg doesn’t seem to agree with that. The success of “In My Feelings” alone was a major dub for Drake, even in wake of Pusha T’s “The Story Of Adidon.”

Snoop Dogg Declares Drake & Pusha T Beef A "Draw"

“The n***a made ‘Kiki Do You Love Me?’ when Pusha T took off on him,” he said. “Like, you can have my head, but I’m going to have everybody in your family and everybody in the world singing ‘Kiki Do You Love Me?’  That’s the answer. The answer is not, ‘I can’t match you lyrical wop-di-wop-woop,’ but ‘You can’t match me with this song that’s gonna play forever when they forget about that diss and then [at] your birthday party for your daughter in four years, guess what they’re gonna be playing? ‘Kiki do you love me?’” He added, “Drake is the shit.”

Snoop went on to applaud Pusha T for bringing that type of energy back to the rap game but at the same time, he admitted that Drake played that move well. “Pusha-T, you did that, you scored a 10. But at the same time, his answer was a 10. So it was like a draw to me,” Snoop added.

Drake, Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj Now Hold A Huge Record Together

The Young Money familia reigns supreme as top three rappers with most Billboard Hot 100 entries.

The year is 2010. Drake and Nicki Minaj both release their debut albums through Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records. The game is shifting and we don't know exactly what it's going to look like, but we know it's exciting and we have Lil Wayne to thank. In a historic move, Weezy introduced two artists to the world that went on to become household names and continuously grow bigger over the following decade. Their music crossed over into mainstream, producing countless hits and breaking countless records in the process.

Actually, you can count their hits and this quantification just resulted in another clenched title for the rappers. Nicki Minaj's new promotional single "Yikes" has just entered Billboard's Hot 100 at #23, placing her in the company of Drake and Lil Wayne as the rappers with the most charting singles in history.

Wait, there's more. Nicki was already the female artist with the most entries in Hot 100 history, her latest release boosting her entries to a total of 108. However, "Yikes" debuting at #1 on the Digital Song Sales chart makes Nicki the first female rapper to ever do so with a solo track. As the Queen herself delineated in an IG post, she accomplished this with no feature, no video, no promo, no performance, no radio, no placement on any big Spotify playlists AND she released the track three hours late. She appeared to comment again on this accolade in her IG Story, which read, "dropped my first tape in '07. 13 years later..." What a ride.

DJ Khaled Reminds Us Of Drake’s Success With "Views" While In Toronto

DJ Khaled used a little bit of comedy to let us know that Drake will always be the king of Toronto, Canada.

DJ Khaled is always one for keeping it all the way real, even when the realness is delivered with a bit of comedy. While stopping through Toronto recently, the Father of Asahd super producer reminded us that Canada’s most populous city is actually spelled after a multiplatinum-selling native.

“HOW DO YOU SPELL TORONTO D R A K E,” Khaled wrote as a caption for his video posted on Instagram recently, which showed him standing outside while pointing up at the CN Tower. As we all know, in addition to representing for Toronto as much as he possible can, Drizzy also famously posed (read: got Photoshopped) on the top of the building for his fourth studio album Views, which went on to rack up a handful of American Music Awards back in 2016. So, does the album’s success compared with everything Drake has accomplished within the four years following officially make him the King of Toronto? Khaled says yes, but we’ll let you guys be the judge of it.

Watch DJ Khaled’s lighthearted salute to Toronto town hero Drake below,  and let us know whether or not you agree with the honorific title by sounding off down in the comment section:

Twista Explains Why Drake’s "Ghostwriting" Saga Was Actually A Good Thing

Twista breaks down how Drake might have averted a crisis amidst the infamous “ghostwriting” debacle.

Fresh off the drop of his recent Lifetime EP, Twista slid through for a conversation at the Hot 97 studios with Ebro and Laura Stylez. The discussion eventually shifts to Eminem‘s “Godzilla,” which currently holds the Guinness World Record for Fastest Rap Verse — a record originally held by Twista for a solid decade. “Mine was the most syllables in a minute,” reflects Twista. “I stopped my record on purpose because I thought people came right behind me to break my record. Nobody ever tried it for over ten years. So by the time somebody broke it, I was already making my joints and my hits. I didn’t really care about it.”

Around the ten minute mark, Twista reflects on the game’s current state, particularly with regards to the perceived death of lyricism in commercial hip-hop. “A lot of young cats don’t really care about intelligence in rap no more,” he says. “Some do, but we saw the decline of intelligent input. Right now you got a lot of people more into the vibe.”

Circling to his own experience collaborating on his recent Red Bull collaboration project, Twista also reflects on how artists like Drake and Kanye West occasionally use writing teams in the studio. “At this stage in my career, I wrote so many records, when I got presented with the opportunity to express myself than be the lyricist, I wanted to see how the feels like. Let me get in the room with a collective mind, see how I work with other artists. It was a fun project to do with that many different writers who understood my rap style.”

Twista Explains Why Drake's "Ghostwriting" Saga Was Actually A Good Thing

Ebro raises the classic topic of Drake’s ghostwriting controversy, prompting Twista to offer what his solution might have been. “He should have told them I’ll bust your head,” says Twist. “Yeah somebody wrote for me, but if you try me I’ll bust your head with something I wrote…To me, you should be scared of an artist who can make his own records and also chooses to use other people to write. That’s the artist to be scared about. That means his ceiling is high – it’s way over where you thinking. He’s achieving a perfection and he wants a position in music you may not even understand. He knows he can do it, but he knows with these collective minds, he can get it.”

“I told you what he should have told them,” says Twista, with a smile. “I’ll bust your head with my rhymes. I do this to take what I’m doing further.” He reasons that sometimes an artist simply can’t keep up with the pace of their vision, and bringing in a trusted team of collaborators is simply part of the process.

Drake Really Has A Casino On His Wrist

Drake’s latest addition to his ever-growing watch collection is Jacob & Co.’s Astronomia Casino which swaps a watch’s dial for a fully functioning mini-roulette table.

Rappers might often compare the value of their timepiece to a piece of real estate but Drake‘s latest addition to his watch collection shows that his flex his just different. You may have recalled a photo Drake shared to Instagram from his visit to Jacob & Co. alongside OVO Niko. He didn’t reveal what exactly he was up to but Drake’s jewelry collection isn’t basic by any means.

According to GQ, the rapper was rocking Jacob & Co. Astronomia Casino, a high-end watch that includes a fully functional roulette wheel. Now, by the time he shared pictures from his meeting with the jewelers, we should’ve known that he was about to show out. Jacob & Co. have innovated the world of timepieces that play the Godfather theme song and others that include a mock solar system. Drake’s Astronomia Casino that includes a “double-axis tourbillon, a magnesium lacquered globe and time display, all rotating around the dial in 10 minutes” and “underneath is the working roulette table with ceramic ball, while on top is the 1ct 288-facet Jacob-cut diamond, which turns on itself in 30 seconds,” per their Instagram page.

Drake’s watch collection has drawn a lot of attention from watch enthusiasts to your everyday Joe Schmo. During the NBA Finals, the rapper was seen rocking a $750K NSFW Richard Mille “69 Tourbillon Erotic” that included includes three lines that show different lustful phrases that might be deemed workplace harassment in any other setting. But Drake’s the Raptors’ Global Ambassador, he can do what he pleases.

Drake Surprises Crowd At Post Malone Concert In Toronto

Drake made a surprise appearance at Post Malone’s concert in Toronto on Valentine’s Day, in which he called Post “one of the greatest human beings.”

Drake took the stage at Post Malone‘s Toronto show on Valentine’s Day and surprised the crowd, before he declared that Post is “one of the greatest human beings.” As part of his Runaway tour to promote his Hollywood’s Bleeding album, Post Malone made a stop in Toronto, the hometown of self-proclaimed 6God, Drake. Post surprised the crowd by bringing the local legend on stage at the Scotiabank Arena to perform his hits, “Money In The Grave” and “Life Is Good.”

Drake had some particularly kind words for his buddy after his set. “I just wanna let you know,” he said to Post, “in front of all these beautiful people from the greatest city in the world: this is one of the greatest human beings you will ever encounter in your life. I love you.” He also said that the two of them “should go on tour together.” We can only dream.

In the spirit of spreading the love, Drake made a mini speech about Valentine’s Day and acknowledged all the singletons in the room. It has been rumoured that Drake may not consider himself to be part of that population, as he was recently spotted kissing supermodel Imaan Hamman before leaving her apartment in New York City.

Drake, DaBaby & Lil Baby Jump On Future’s "Life Is Good" Remix

Future and Drake have been collaborating for a while, going back nearly a decade.

Just last month they dropped “Life Is Good,” which isn't even really a collaboration, but more like both of their songs on one track.

Obviously, that wasn't enough, and Future had to add DaBaby and Lil Baby to the official remix, which dropped yesterday.

Are you diggin' it?

Drake Sued By 2018 Tour Stage Designer: Report

Drake was sued by Sila Sveta, the stage designer for “Aubrey & The Three Migos” tour, over six-figures worth of unpaid work.

Drake and Migos hit the road in 2018 together with an elaborate stage set up but the stage designers, Sila Sveta, are suing the 6ix God over unpaid work. According to The Blast, Sila Sveta accused Drake of failing to cough up the dough for the additional work to ensure that the visual elements of his stage were on par. Drake’s now facing a $108K lawsuit after they said they made “a unique visual experience and to elevate design standards across the industry.”

As you might recall, there were several dates on the tour that had to be pushed back or canceled due to technical problems with the stage set up. The court file reads, “they delayed the dates of the tour (requiring Sila Sveta staff to work of additional days)” and “radically changed the configuration, size, and shape of the screens on which the video content was to be played four times.”

Sila Sveta said they sent Drizzy and co. the invoice on two separate occasions but Drake’s team refused to pay them the $108K they were asking for.

Drake’s set-up at the show included ice and lava displays on the stage, along with a floating Ferrari, and an enormous 3D scorpion to represent his fifth studio album. Surely, you’ve seen pictures.

We’ll keep you posted on any updates regarding the lawsuit.

Drake’s "If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late" Is A Winter In The 6ix

Reflecting on the impact of Drake’s 2015 mixtape, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” on the fifth anniversary of its surprise release.

If you’re feeling old, just know you’re not alone. When So Far Gone marked its 10-year anniversary in 2019, it was a reminder of simpler times when mixtapes were readily available without a subscription. Lil Wayne was at the top of the rap game. Kanye had yet to marry into the Kardashian family. Things changed — including the rap game — when Drake‘s first tape dropped. He was a breath of fresh air when every rapper at the time was improperly using auto-tune and “ringtone rap” was beginning to phase out. He rapped, he sang; a former Canadian child actor that shied away from the rugged look to embrace an emotional vulnerability conveyed in a palatable fashion to the world.

The year is 2015 and Drake was two years removed from what some may argue was his best album, Nothing Was The Same, a turning of tides in the rapper’s career. But it was If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late that marked Drake’s transition from boy to a man, Lil Wayne’s protegee to OVO Boss, the birth of the 6 God. Even as the “surprise release” tactic became a typical industry practice following Beyonce’s self-titled 2013 album, Drake was among the few able to execute it successfully — despite Demar Derozan lowkey dropping the ball on the album’s release months earlier. And since there were no set expectations, Drake was able to tread into whatever turf he wanted without the pressure of his fans.

Sure, it was an exciting moment for the rest of the world but everything about If You’re Not Reading This It’s Too Late centered around Toronto. The dry, cold production that became known as the quintessential regional sound exceeded the standard it was built on. With 40 and Boi-1da leading the parade, they perfectly blended trap and R&B into a bone-chilling soundscape. The reflection of homegrown talent Drake called on for assistance on the project enhanced the sonic thesis: PartyNextDoor, Daxz, Frank Dukes, Sevn Thomas, Most High, and more only solidified the Canadian city as a hub for quality talent.

Drake created a project that finally brought the world into Toronto and not the other way around. “Know Yourself” opens up with a man speaking Patois, paying homage to the Jamaican dialect that’s informed the regional lingo of the 6ix. As Boi-1da’s production rings off, “Know Yourself” qualifies as Toronto’s unofficial anthem of sorts. Even if you’ve never been to Toronto, the idea of running through the 6ix with your woes became more enticing with each listen.

For better or for worse, this unapologetic version of Drake’s Toronto put a different light on his name and the city. As the gun-related crimes began to escalate, songs like “No Tellin’” made Drake an immediate target in the eyes of local media and authorities. “Police comin’ ‘round lookin’ for some help on a case they gotta solve/ We never help ‘em,” he raps on “No Tellin,” lyrics that would go on to haunt his hometown existence. Following the infamous 2015 shooting at Muzik Nightclub during the OVO Fest afterparty, Drake was placed under a microscope. But Drake didn’t fold, even as officials and media pressed him to speak up on the matter. Instead, he issued a PR-friendly statement hoping for peace in the city while mildly elaborating on his dilemma to talk on the situation. To this day, the media taunts Drake with these very lyrics.

Even though 2015 became a year where Drake ascended into hip-hop royalty, it was also the year where his aspirations to become the biggest rapper ever became blurred by his radio-friendly inclinations. Already walking the line between pop and hip-hop, Drake embracing the streets, especially of his own hometown, and vice versa, finally gave him a certain level of certification he once was never recognized for. If You’re Reading This had Drake embraced across the board which only aided his cause to exceed predecessors like Hov and Wayne. Unfortunately, this album can’t be celebrated without the mention of the controversy that it sparked. Quentin Miller’s infamous involvement in the album’s creation became a blessing and a curse; though he might have produced only a few defining moments, the fact that he was involved in the first place will be a constant reminder for as long as Drake continues to rap.

Although Take Care and Nothing Was The Same are often viewed as some of Drake’s best bodies of work If You’re Reading This deserves a space in that conversation. As elements of trap and R&B infused itself even further into the musical DNA of the album, Drake not only honed into the essence of Toronto but elevated into his position as both a cultural chameleon and behemoth. Even as Drake morphed into this street-centric rapper, taking notes from bubbling artists from Atlanta and Toronto, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late is ultimately a celebration of those cold, dry Canadian winters.

DaBaby & Lil Baby Remix Future & Drake’s "Life Is Good"

DaBaby and Lil Baby recorded a remix to the current number two song in the country, Drake and Future’s “Life Is Good.”

Currently sitting at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, Future and Drake’s hit song “Life Is Good” may be getting a much-needed boost to the top spot, courtesy of a remix by DaBaby and Lil Baby. In the past, the North Carolina and Atlanta rappers have teamed up to release “Baby” Quality Control and it looks like they’re going to impact the airwaves again. This time, things will go down on a track that has already proven itself to a hip-hop loving crowd and the chart directors.

Future and Drake have been sitting at the same spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the last four weeks, not earning enough streams or sales to dethrone Roddy Ricch and “The Box” from the pole position. With a remix of “Life Is Good” being teased recently featuring Lil Baby and DaBaby, that may change. As evidenced by a song snippet on social media, the two buzzing stars have hopped on the song to add their own respective flavors. DaBaby’s verse is barely heard in the preview while Lil Baby can be heard flexing his diamonds with a catchy flow.

Do you think this will give “Life Is Good” the boost it needs to finally be crowned a number one record? Only time will tell. Stay tuned.

Travis Scott Not "Thrilled" About Kylie Jenner-Drake Rumors

Travis Scott was reportedly not happy when he heard that his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner was hanging out with Drake.

After Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott announced their break-up last year, it was revealed that Drake had swooped in and was trying to win the make-up mogul over, but that didn’t please his “Sicko Mode” collaborator. While there were never full-blown reports that Jenner and Drizzy were an item, they were spotted getting chummy at his birthday party before hanging out in the studio, which some believed was a ploy to make La Flame jealous. These days, it looks like we’re nearing a reconciliation between Scott and Jenner but new reports state that, upon hearing about the rumors that Aubrey Graham was shtupping his ex-girl, Cactus Jack was pissed.

A new article published by People claims that Travis Scott was angry that, during their split, Kylie Jenner was hanging out with other guys. “He is very protective of Kylie,” says an anonymous source close to the situation. After being spotted in the same limousine while heading to an Oscars after-party, Travis and Kylie were the subject of reunion rumors once again, however, they’re not quite ready to put pen to paper yet.

“Kylie doesn’t want this public back-and-forth when it comes to her relationship with Travis,” said the same source. “When she is ready to announce that they are back together, she will.”

Thankfully for Travis, Drake appears to be out of the picture now that he’s reportedly been spending time with supermodel Imaan Hamman. Do you think Trav and Ky will get back together?

Reason Obliterates Drake & Dreamville Favorites On LA Leakers

Reason drops a freestyle for the LA Leakers and slaughters both “4 PM In Calabasas” and “Down Bad.”

Say what you will about the Los Angeles Leakers, but the men have an appreciation for the time-honored tradition of spitting bars. As such, they know to pay homage when a lyricist in their midst. Once again, TDE‘s Reason stepped into the booth to do as he does, riding the momentum of hard-hitting singles like “Pick It Up” and “Same Ol Shit.” With speculation that an album is on the way, the Carson rapper wasted little time in laying waste to a pair of Drake and Dreamville bangers, “4 PM In Calabasas” and “Down Bad.”

Reason Obliterates Drake & Dreamville Favorites On LA Leakers

“Every day I’m Charlamagne, Envy face to face with me,” he spits, in the tone-setting first moments. Before long, he’s whipping up some insane new schemes. “My ancestors were slaves too long, they rolling over in graves,” he rhymes. “Be a mobster, you want the pasta, know it come with the strain / lotta n***as namedropping it just come with the game, that’s not a diss but that’s crazy.” From there, his “that’s crazy” scheme mounts in intensity as he snaps at a rabid pace. Before long, the beat simply can’t handle it and switches to some jiggy Dreamville shit.

A veteran of the Dreamers 3 session, Reason sounds at home over “Down Bad,” even borrowing J.I.D’s introductory flow to kick off his verse. While the double-time beat closes the door for some of his denser punchlines, it leaves even more space for Reason to switch it up, a process he does so with practiced swagger. Check out the crazy freestyle below, and sound off – is the TDE rapper the king of the Leakers booth?

Steve Stoute Claims He’s To The Knicks What Drake Is To The Raptors, Internet Disagrees

He also had a few words about Knicks' personnel. The team issued a statement.

He's branded himself as an icon in hip hop, but steve Stoute has a new gig on the sports front. He's known as a record executive, artist manager, marketing agent, and author; yet now, you can add branding consultant to the New York Knicks to his ever-growing resumé. The 49-year-old businessman recently sat down for his first interview since taking on his latest title, and there was one comment he made mentioning Drake that made him the target of social media.

Stoute is hoping to change how the Knicks are perceived from the public, and according to him, it starts at the top. “There had to be a change in [firing team president Steve Mills]. That change will bring a new coach and new coaches that are going to help develop these younger players,” Stoute told ESPN's First Take. “And they got some young players — you see RJ Barrett, Mitch Robinson. They got something to work with. And getting a coach in there and ultimately getting a coach and a coaching staff that’s going to help develop a team. That’s what I expect to happen so that we can actually get to what you expect from a New York team."

He added, "New York City is the hub of sports and entertainment. That’s how I feel. And it started moving around. My job is to bring it back. Toronto Raptors, they brought in Drake. Right? They brought in Drake to bring that thing. The New York Knicks brought in me." Stoute delivered a mouthful, but the Knicks quickly swept in with a statement saying that Stoute is not a mouthpiece for the franchise.

“While Steve Stoute is a valued contributor to the Knicks’ marketing and branding efforts, he does not speak on behalf of New York Knicks personnel and basketball operations," the statement reads. "Any decisions regarding the operations of the team will be made by the new President of the New York Knicks.”

Stoute returned with a sort-of-apology. “In my excitement to defend the Knicks on live TV today, I inadvertently insinuated about Knicks personnel. I look forward to working with Knicks management to elevate the great Knicks brand moving forward.” Check out Stoute's clip, and a few reactions to his Drake comparison, below.

Drake To Bring URL Battle Rap To Live Stream App Caffeine

Drake unites the largest battle rap institution, URL (Ultimate Rap League) with Caffeine, a burgeoning live-streaming app.

Anything with Drake's name attached to it is sure to be a huge success, or is at least sure to attract loads of attention. The Canadian rapper's latest venture is a multiyear partnership with live-streaming platform, Caffeine. The deal was officially announced on Tuesday, along with details about the first project that Drizzy and the app will be pursuing.

The world's largest battle rap outlet, URL (Ultimate Rap League), will be brought onboard to kick-start a new initiative to make Caffeine a hub for battle rap viewing. In collaboration with these new partners, Caffeine will live stream and co-produce the Rap Battles.

In a statement, Drake explained how he's been a fan of URL, which has been promoted by Troy "Smack White" Mitchell out of Queens, New York for years. "I’ve always loved URL and admired what Smack and his team have been able to create, it just wasn’t easily accessible," Drake said . "It’s exciting to be in a position where I’m able to bring Caffeine to the table and help provide URL with the tools they need to elevate the viewing experience and make it more accessible to fans." Smack White, who also co-founded of URL, echoed this sentiment, calling Caffeine "the perfect strategic partner."

URL was first popularized through the distribution of DVDs - referred to as "S.M.A.C.K. DVD" for Street Music, Arts, Culture & Knowledge - in the early 2000's. Bringing this tradition of raw battle rapping to a live-streaming app seems like an ideal way to revamp it for a new and wider audience. This partnership actually marks an interesting turn of events because Drake was infamously called upon to participate in a URL event in 2015, but declined.

Roddy Ricch "The Box" Dominates Drake & Future For Another Week At No. 1

There is no stopping Roddy Ricch.

Life is good for Roddy Ricch right now -- pun fully intended. For the fifth week in a row, the Compton rapper finds himself at the absolute forefront of the Billboard Hot 100, beating out some proven chart-toppers as he continues his history-making reign. When Ricch released Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial in December, the album was heralded as one of the better rap debuts in a while, showing us exactly what the 21-year-old could accomplish if he continues to hustle in the music business. The album was considered a commercial success, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and, after two of his songs impacted the TikTok circuit, it was game over for every other artist. "The Box" and "High Fashion" are huge success stories but it's the former that has been ruling the charts for the last four weeks and, today, it was revealed that he will remain on top for yet another seven-day campaign.

Drake and Future keep coming close with their collaborative single "Life Is Good" but, for the fifth official week, Roddy Ricch has defeated his competition to sit on the throne. According to Billboard, the song saw a slight drop in streaming numbers but that wasn't enough for him to fall out of the pole position. However, if the trend continues, he may very well be replaced next week.

At the second spot, Drake and Future's "Life Is Good" stands still while Post Malone's "Circles" follows closely at No. 3. Maroon 5 and Tones And I close out the Top 5 with their respective hits.

Congratulations to Roddy Ricch, who is enjoying yet another week on top of the game.

Drake Responds To Jokes About His Visit To Marcy Houses

"It was all Marcy love."

Most recently, Drake was spotted filming a music video in Brooklyn's Marcy Houses, well-known as the projects that birthed Jay-Z.  In clips filmed by bystanders of the project, Drake is prominently caught in a perceivably awkward position as he's seen literally ooking over his shoulder frequently. The setting has naturally caused users online to proceed with clowning the Canadian star for seeming like a fish out of water, but it seems that Drake got the last laugh as he took to Instagram to briefly address the jokes.

"That other clip under covers pulled up quick with the iphones out on my life," Drake penned in a comment attached to a clip of Drizzy giving dap to a group of folks gathered in Marcy.  "I was tryna see what was going on...it was all Marcy love."

Currently, just what Drake is working on is unclear. However, Rap Radar's B.dot Miller did confirm that the track being filmed was the same cut that he previously heard and subsequently praised.

"He sent me a record and it's incredible," he told Genius' Rob Markman in a sit-down. "It sounds like one of those time-stamp joints."

Drake Spotted Filming Music Video In Jay-Z’s Old Brooklyn Neighbourhood

Drake headed to the Marcy Projects in Brooklyn, New York where Jay-Z famously grew up, to film the music video for a new song.

We all know that before Drake was Drake, he was a little Canadian boy named Aubrey Graham who grew up in the Forest Hill neighbourhood of Toronto. Drake reps the 6 proudly and has never claimed to hail from elsewhere, but it looks like the 6God recently headed down to the BK to shoot his latest music video.

Drake Spotted Filming Music Video In Jay-Z's Old Brooklyn NeighbourhoodVaughn Ridley/Getty Images

Drake was spotted filming some visuals in the Marcy Projects this week, a public housing complex in Brooklyn, New York, that one of hip-hop’s biggest legends used to call home. Jay-Z famously grew up in that exact neighbourhood, before he got his big break and became the billionaire we know today.

It appears that the music video Drake was seen shooting will be for a song he has yet to release. A snippet of the song can be heard in a brief clip of Drake leaning against a fence in front of the Marcy houses, wearing a blue Yankees bomber jacket and rapping silently into the camera. In the comments, users noted how obvious it is that Drake did not grow up in the hood, due to how uncomfortable he appears to be filming in that area.

Though there’s no certainty that this song in particular will be a part of the project, it has been heavily speculated that Drake and Future are in the midst of concocting a sequel to their infamous What A Time To Be Alive collaborative album. A month ago, the duo dropped the highly anticipated track, “Life Is Good”, and then leaked “Desires” last weekend. Whatever Drizzy is cooking up in these clips, we hope it has something to do with WATTBA2.

Drake Spotted Kissing Supermodel, Ignites Dating Rumors: Report

Drake and Imaan Hamman spark dating rumors after the rapper is seen leaving her New York City apartment.

Despite being one of the most talked-about celebrities in the entire world, Drake manages to keep his personal life relatively under wraps. The superstar famously hid his child, Adonis, from the world for nearly an entire year before Pusha-T outed him, revealing the news to the world diss record. Since then, Drake has gone back to his regular ways, keeping things to himself and not really divulging many details about his life outside of music to his fans. Some things though, like the paparazzi, are unavoidable.

Drake was spotted last night reportedly leaving supermodel Imaan Hamman’s apartment in New York City, which is evidence enough to get the gossipers spreading the word about a possible new relationship. However, hours before, he was reportedly locking lips with the 23-year-old at the Flur Room in the city, which just makes things that much more obvious that something is going on between the two.

Drake and Hammam have been linked together in the past but the Daily Mail reports that they are not believed to be in a romantic relationship. At this time, they appear to just be having some fun.

If they were to hypothetically begin dating, do you think they would make a nice couple? Check out photos of the supermodel below.

Andrew Wiggins Uses Joyful Drake Clip To Shade T-Wolves After Trade

Wiggins is going from 14th to 15th.

Andrew Wiggins has had to deal with a lot of scrutiny over the last few years thanks to his lackluster play with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The former number one overall pick hasn't lived up to expectations and Timberwolves fans have become fed up with him. Over the past week or so, there have been rumors that the T-Wolves could trade Wiggins to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for D'Angelo Russell. Earlier today, that's exactly what happened.

Timberwolves fans are excited about the trade and have already taken to social media to rejoice. Meanwhile, Wiggins himself also took to social media where he posted a video of Drake on his Instagram story. In the clip, Drake is acting in a frantic, excited fashion. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to deduce that this is how Wiggins feels about being traded to Golden State.

For now, it looks like the Timberwolves have won this trade but with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson coming back, they didn't need D-Lo's services, nor his large contract. As for Wiggins, he will be able to learn from some veterans and perhaps even improve his game. Wiggins has been thrust into the spotlight with very limited support throughout his career and clearly needs a change of pace. Maybe a secondary role will help him develop and become a more confident NBA star.

What do you think of the Warriors/Timberwolves trade?

Drake & Rosalía Style Hard Front Row At Nike’s NYFW Show

Virgil Abloh and OVO Chubbs also kicked it with Rosalía and Drake at the event.

Drake‘s commitment to Nike is impressive. So it was no surprise when he showed face in New York City, once again, but this time for New York Fashion Week. The rapper was spotted front row with Rosalía and Virgil Abloh for Nike’s presentation. The rapper shared a slew of photos with both the singer, “La jefa de Sant Esteve Sesrovires” which translates to “the head of Sant Esteve Sesrovires.” Perhaps this might mean a collaboration is on the way? He’s been dabbling outside of hip-hop and R&B a lot more in recent years, this could be a strong indication of what he has in store on his next project.

Drake’s friends go where ever he goes so he had to bring his head of security, business partner and long-time friend, OVO Chubbs. Drizzy shared a flick with a meme-worthy flick of Chubbs looking incredibly concentrated. Drake seems to believe Chubbs already plotting out Nike’s design for the next season. “Third fashion show ever and Chubbs is already thinking about next seasons designs @nike #creative,” he captioned the photo.

In other Drake-related news, Drake has secured another platinum plaque in his extensive collection. Future and Drake’s “Life Is Good” has officially gone platinum. Unfortunately, this didn’t mark another number one hit for either one of the artists. The song has maintained its spot at number two on the chart, only being blocked by Roddy Ricch‘s “The Box.” Hopefully, Drake does come through with more music before the year ends. Maybe the highly speculated What A Time To Be Alive 2?

Future & Drake Secure Yet Another Platinum Plaque

Those lovable ruffians Drake and Future add another plaque to the collection.

The house that toxic masculinity built. At least, that's what the internet concludes every time Drake and Future linked up. Simultaneously the best and worst influences on one another, the dynamic duo have proven themselves commercial juggernauts for the umpteenth time. At the top of January, Drizzy and Future dropped off "Life Is Good," a dynamic beat-switch fuelled single complete with amusing visuals. It didn't take long for the track to pick up steady rotation, to the point where it's already gone platinum a little under a month later.

Future & Drake Secure Yet Another Platinum Plaque

As confirmed from a Chart Data tweet, the track has officially moved over one million album-equivalent units in the United States alone. And remember, one album-equivalent unit equals 1500 streams. That's a lot of people riding with Drake and Future's latest anthem, a possible first look at the mysterious and frequently-teased What A Time To Be Alive 2.

Congratulations to the "Digital Dash" duo. Given that both rappers are veterans in the game, these level of commercial dominance is absolutely staggering. Regardless of how you feel about those lovable ruffians, it's clear that they will remain a force to be reckoned with. Even if they remain on their worst behavior.

Drake’s OVO & Canada Basketball Team Up On New Women’s National Jersey

OVO x Team Canada.

The OVO imprint has made its way onto a lot of things. There’s, of course, their essential collection that’s frequently donned by the OVO clique and their affiliates but the signature owl has been seen alongside the Canada Goose logo, Timberland, Alpha Industries, Porter, Jordan, and more. Drake‘s brand has also collaborated with the Raptors.

Most recently, the rapper and OVO unveiled their new collaboration with Team Canada ahead for the women’s basketball team. Ahead of the FIBA Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament, OVO and Team Canada unveiled the jersey which includes the heritage OVO branding with the owl. It marks OVO’s first collaboration in their new partnership with Canada Basketball. Drake, 40 and Noah Shebib have taken the heritage owl into sports in the past but the announcement coincides with the Canadian women’s team “final stage Olympic qualifying tournament” so if they do well, there’s a good chance we can see the owl in the Olympics.

“It’s pretty cool, right?” Glen Grunwald told Sportsnet ahead of the tip-off on Thursday. “I think they want to support the women’s team, assist in the growth of women’s sports and help the women’s team move forward. It’s a smart move for everybody.”

Drake unveiled the design on his Instagram Story earlier today which was later shared on the Canada Basketball Instagram page. Check it out below.

Roddy Ricch Gets Into Canada, Thanks To Drake

Drake has pull at the border.

Roddy Ricch is undeniably the hottest rapper in the game right now. "The Box" has been taking over the globe, thanks to TikTok, and he's now the first rapper in 2003 to have the longest-running #1 debut album on the Billboard 200, tying 50 Cent's Get Rich Or Die TryingPlease Excuse Me For Being Antisocial undoubtedly is a solid introductory effort for anyone who wasn't following him prior to commercial success.

He's currently on his North American tour in support of the album and like most rappers that enter Canadian territory, there's always the possibility of getting denied. As much as race plays a factor in it, G-Eazy has also been denied at the border so there seems to inexplicable targetting towards rappers in general, as well. Anyways, Roddy Ricch has finally made it into Canada and it appears that he has Drake to thank for that. Drake's the plug and all it took was one phone call for Roddy to get into the country. "Called @Drake and bro he got me into Canada," he tweeted with a muscle emoji.

We're sure Canadian fans are appreciating Drake's efforts right now. Back in July, Roddy, a man of little words, simply tweeted that he spoke to Drake. Later on, he confirmed that he and Drake have a few songs together. When we can expect to hear them is unconfirmed but it seems more than likely that Drake will show face during Roddy's show tomorrow.

The Best "Spittin’" Memes Include Bars From Drake, Future, Eminem & More

This latest viral meme is a keeper.

What appears to be the first meme of February is in full force, as folks of the Internet have taken to quoting famous bars and designating who would agree with the sentiments in the lyrics. It appears that the meme was born from a Roddy Ricch lyric, where he spits, "B*tch, don't wear no shoes in my house," on "The Box." On the original post, the user added a screencap from an animation that declares, "This n***a spittin'" and indicated that their grandma was the speaker. The new meme format quickly caught on, as other users took well-known lyrics and noted who would think that the artist was "spittin.'"

Some examples include moths vibing with Kanye's various lightforms in "All of the Lights," Thanos complying to T-Pain's "Snap ya fingers" catchphrase, and turkeys making the same noise as Shakira's tongue trick during the Super Bowl halftime show. One line in particular that has been used in more than one meme is Drake's "Haven't done my taxes, I'm too turnt up" from "Life Is Good," which tax-evaders like Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Wesley Snipes are shown relating to.

As far as memes go, it's one of the more versatile formats. The options are endless, and the results are pretty hilarious.

Drake Continues Drill Wave In New Song Preview

Drizzy is back in his drill bag.

The hip-hop superpower that is the Drake co-sign has been covered at length. Every so often the 6ix God will bless an up-and-coming artist with a verse, absorb some of their sonic instincts into spongelike memory, and send them off into the world with a pat on the head. While some beneficiaries like Lil Baby took the momentum and ran, others, like Blocboy JB weren’t able to capitalize so efficiently. Now, with Drake putting in work on his first album of the new decade, all signs indicate that he’ll be sitting comfortably in his drill bag for the duration.

Following the arrival of street single “War,” Drake appears to have linked up with Sosa Geek and Fivio Foreign for a new banger. Sosa previewed Drizzy’s verse on his IG (as captured by HHNM), with one bearing witness to the session declaring it to be “a movie.” Over a hard-hitting instrumental, Drake fires off lines like “that’s how man get blem” and “all my g’s are blessed, we checking for them.”

True, these days Drake’s verses can feel like a recitation of a high-school graduating yearbook shoutout, lined with inside jokes and monikers. But that doesn’t mean he’s not operating at an elite level, sliding over beats with an icy swagger. For those eager to hear Drizzy on some pure rap shit on this go-around, consider this a positive sign.

Drake Rocks New "Icy Cross" He’s Always Dreamed Of Owning Despite Jewish Background

Drake adds yet another chain to his collection.

It looks like Drake is dipping his toe into a different faith with his latest shiny new purchase. The rapper shared a story on Instagram showing off his new chain designed by jeweller, Jacob & Co., thanking the company for making one of his "dreams come true." Drake, who is Jewish, claims he always wanted to rock an "icey cross" despite the Christian background of the famous symbol.

Drake is definitely no stranger to the chain game. Back in 2017, he copped a Stone Island-inspired chain designed by jeweller Ben Baller. The piece is modelled after the Italian brand's compass logo and has the words, "on tour," written on it. It also features Drake's 6 God logo on the back with the words, "BRINGING THAT CERTY," written above. A year later, the OVO founder debuted a "life size" owl chain, made of "over a kilo of gold & and over 100 carats of Asscher cut diamonds" and designed by famous celebrity jeweller Jason of Beverly Hills. Just last month, Drake commissioned Jason of Beverly Hills once again to create some similar pieces for himself and his "Life Is Good" and "Desires" collaborator Future, to kick off what many believe to be the second-coming of their What A Time To Be Alive era. That same week, it was reported that Drake had also dropped a cool $1 million on a 100-carat, heart-shaped diamond chain by Gemma Fine Jewelry. If ever there was any doubt that this man's got some extra cash lying around, he's ensured that we know just how good life is for him.

Joe Budden Is Glad Drake "Humanized Himself" During Rap Radar Interview

He said it was probably the first time he’d heard Drake refer to himself as a “black artist.”

He’s known as a social commentator of the culture, so MSNBC invited Joe Budden to their studio for a candid interview about music, diversity, politics, therapy, and much, much more. The podcast host chatted with Ari Melber for nearly a half an hour, and while there was a myriad of topics discussed, right out of the gate they spent quite some time analyzing Drake.

Recently, Budden and his The Joe Budden Podcast co-hosts spoke at length about Drake’s filmed Rap Radar interview, a rare appearance for OVO’s head honcho. Ari wanted to chat about Drake lamenting that he doesn’t get recognition as an accomplished black artist and he played the clip back for Budden.

“Sometimes I don’t feel celebrated when I know somebody else would be celebrated for those accomplishments,” Drake said in his interview. “I don’t feel like people say when Drake is the artist of the decade, I don’t think anybody says ‘Wow, a black artist is the artist of the decade.” After the clip ended, Budden said, “That might of been one of the first times I heard him refer to himself that way. Like, as a black artist, but he’s right.”

“He’ll never be on the outside looking in, so who are we to say how he feels, how he should feel, but I think that many entertainers and athletes and just people in our industry move around with that chip on their shoulder,” Budden continued. “And they carry it. And they protect it. And I think we got a rare chance to see that in Drake. Somebody who’s piled up so many wins that I guess we feel like that shouldn’t be there.”

Budden thought it was good to see the superstar rapper “humanize himself” in such a manner on that platform. Check out what else Budden had to say about the Toronto rapper below.

Billie Eilish Defends Drake Against Backlash For Texting Her

“The internet is such a stupid-ass mess right now…”

Now that Billie Eilish has become a critical and commercial phenom, the masses have adopted the “protect her at all costs” mentality. This instinct may result in alarms ringing off when there isn’t even a true threat present. When it was revealed that 33-year-old Drake had been texting Eilish, who was 17 years old at the time, the public erupted. Drake was labelled as a creep who had no right talking to girls so young, a concern that was amplified by the fact that he had faced similar criticism for privately communicating with Millie Bobby Brown.

Riding the wave of her Grammy sweep, Eilish has been selected as the March cover star of Vogue. The Drizzy fiasco is broached in her profile and she fumes about the Canadian rapper being treated unfairly. “The internet is such a stupid-ass mess right now,” Eilish said. “Everybody’s so sensitive. A grown man can’t be a fan of an artist? There are so many people that the internet should be more worried about. Like, you’re really going to say that Drake is creepy because he’s a fan of mine, and then you’re going to go vote for Trump? What the fuck is that shit?”

Millie Bobby Brown gave a similar response to the Internet framing her correspondence with Drake in this perverted way. “Why u gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline? U guys are weird… For real,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships.”

UMG CEO Lucian Grainge Jokes That Drake’s Budget Is Unlimited

Money is no issue for Drake.

Apparently, Drake has an unlimited budget because he’s “the greatest.”

HipHopDX ran into Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge and asked him about Drake’s budget by referring to a bar on the classic track “Stay Schemin,” where Drake raps, “Tell Lucian I said ‘fuck it,’ I’m tearin’ holes in my budget.”

“If ever Drake or whenever Drake calls up and says he needs something for his project, I give it to him,” Grainge says with a smile. “Because he’s the greatest.”

Strong praise from the boss himself. Drake most recently released a pair of singles with frequent collaborator Future titled “Desires” and “Life is Good.” Fans expect a follow-up to What A Time To Be Alive could be one the way soon.

RadRadar’s Brian “B. Dot” Miller recently appeared on Genius’ For The Record and discussed what he’s heard from Drake’s upcoming music: “Prior to the interview, Drake sent me a record. He just said he wanted to set the tone of the interview. It’s incredible. It sounds like one of those timestamp joints… It’s just one of those kinda flamboyant kind of records. It has a great sample to it, everyone’s going to love it. It’s called ‘Say When.’ I think Elliot talked about that in that. He’s talkin’ that — He be talkin’ that sh*t.”

Drake and Future Drop New Song ‘Desires’

Drake and Future shared a new track on Friday called "Desires." The single comes three weeks after the pair dropped their cut "Life is Good," which is expected to be on their follow up project to 2015's What a Time to Be Alive.

"I should have put you somewhere where no one could find you / Mansion out in the sticks with nothin' around you / Katy, Texas, Dallas, Texas, you know, a different environment / 'Cause you got desires, I know," sings Drake in the chorus.

What do you think about the song?

Drake & Future Praised As Toxic Kings For New Song "Desires"

Drake and Future are being hailed as the leaders of a toxic movement.

We were expecting Lil Wayne to release his new album Funeral last night but we did not anticipate waking up to some brand new music from Drake and Future. Mere weeks following the release of their collaborative single "Life Is Good," the ultra-potent duo has returned with a brand new leak, quietly distributing "Desires" the OVO SoundCloud and letting the head honcho do some very minor promotion on social media. Now that fans have had the chance to consume the new joint for a few hours, reactions are pouring in across the internet with people hailing the duo as "toxic kings."

"Drake and Future really get on tracks and try to out toxic each other, I love it," wrote one fan of the new song on Twitter, which echoes a sentiment felt by nearly all of its listeners. If you dissect the content being presented by Drake and Future on the fresh record, the two are seriously flexing by saying they would move a girl out to "the sticks" where nobody could find her. However, if that ain't the most insecure and anxiety-inducing thing you've ever heard, we've got a problem.

People are loving the song thus far but, as far as the lyrics go, Drake and Future are being praised as leaders of the real-life toxic movement. Hopefully, this leak brings us closer to the arrival of a WATTBA sequel. What do you think of "Desires"?

Lil Wayne Says He’s Prepared To Decapitate Drake On Wax

We're only a few hours away from Lil Wayne's Funeral album.

From comments Wayne made during a preview of a new Drink Champs interview, Drake may be providing the body.

NORE asked Weezy "even though Drake is your artist, he sends you a record, you still taking his head off?"

Wayne didn't hesitate with his answer.

"Yeah," Wayne said. "All day. I'm letting him know when he send it like, make sure your mom and them don't be listening to this."

The preview clip ends there.

50 Cent Says Drake Citing Him As An Influence To Sing Is "The Coolest Sh*t In The World"

50 Cent appreciated the shoutout.

In Drake’s widely discussed Rap Radar interview from December, the rapper touched on many different aspects of his career. Though Drizzy did indicate that his beef with Kanye did not have an end in sight, he also noted Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreaks album as inspiration for Drake to start singing. Another source of motivation for him to pursue singing was “obviously, 50 Cent.”

“’21 Questions’ will probably be my most inspiring example of a guy who’s not supposed to be singing, singing,” Drake said about Fif’s 2003 hit with Nate Dogg. Fresh off receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Fif told Variety that he was overjoyed to hear what Drake had said about him.

“Drake was saying recently that I had influenced him to start singing, which was the coolest sh*t in the world for him to say, because I can’t sing as good as he sings,” he confessed. “I was always just trying to outline the melody. Because once you have a broad enough audience, you’re gonna have people who don’t speak English, so all they can follow is the melody…And when you’re writing [lyrics], I mean: ‘Go shorty, it’s your birthday’ — that’s not rocket science. Every day is somebody’s birthday.” It is indeed, 50.

Lil Wayne Vows He Will Always Decapitate Drake On A Record

Lil Wayne has a taste for OVO blood.

While funerals are undesirable as a general rule, the gathering hits different when Lil Wayne is handling the eulogy. With his upcoming Funeral album set to drop tonight, many have their sights set on the generational talent. For some, there’s a matter of resetting the course where Carter V slightly veered. For others, it’s Lil Wayne and that’s all that matters. For those seized by rapturous Weezy fever, keep an eye out for Wayne’s first appearance on REVOLT’s Drink Champs, an anticipated episode NORE has already started teasing.

“Even though Drake is your artist, he sends you a record, you still taking his head off?” asks Nore. Completely stonefaced, Wayne nods. “Yeah.” This of course spawns guffaws from the Drink Champs host, while Wayne doesn’t so much as smirk. “All day,” continues Weezy. “I’m letting him know when he send it like, make sure your mom and them don’t be listening to this.” Sadly, the preview ends there — leaving us speculating on whether Drake will indeed be appearing on Funeral tonight. Or more importantly, whether he’ll be leaving with his head intact.

Sometimes, it be your own labelmates. When Tunechi and Drizzy link up, who gets the last laugh by your estimation? In our own poll, fans named Weezy the winner in seven out of eleven tracks, with one being an exact tie. Stay tuned for both Funeral and Wayne’s full Drink Champs episode arriving tonight. Safe to say this will be one to remember.

Chris Brown & Drake’s "No Guidance" Reaches New Billboard Chart Milestone

The dynamic duo beat Miguel's previous record.

When Drake and Chris Brown teamed up last summer to bring the world their single, "No Guidance," the collab was a major success. The track had sold over one million units in the U.S. by late July last year, and the smash hit even tied Drake with The Beatles by earning his 34th Top 10 single in his career. This Tuesday, it was revealed that the song had reached yet another milestone. "No Guidance" is now the longest running #1 hit in R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart history, as it just entered its 24th week at the top of the list.

This feat has knocked down Miguel's "Adorn," which spent 23 weeks at #1 during 2012-2013, from the coveted spot. Breezy himself shared the record-breaking accomplishment on Instagram.

The song is now the longest-running chart-topper since Billboard launched this particular chart in April of 1992. According to Billboard, the single topped the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay list for 10 weeks from August to October of last year, and currently sits at #9 for its 31st straight week in the top 10. "No Guidance" was even nominated for Best R&B Song at the Grammy Awards this year, but ultimately lost to PJ Morton and JoJo for their song, "Say So."

Drake Showers His Mother With Love On Her 60th Birthday

“Happy Birthday to my incredible mother” – Drake.

Drake is showing love to the woman who made it all possible for him, his mother. Yesterday, January 28th was Sandi Graham’s 60th birthday, and to celebrate it her son Drake decided to shower her with love on Instagram.

Sharing a picture of his crib decked out in birthday balloons, which spells out “happy birthday,” Drizzy wrote a short, heartfelt caption along with it, wishing his “incredible” mother a happy birthday.

“Happy Birthday to my incredible mother” – Drake simply wrote.

The yearly shout out isn’t anything news from Drizzy as he’s been known to give Sandi a birthday shout in years past, but not every birthday is her 60th. And more importantly, most years don’t happen to fall on a day after the world is mourning the loss a mega celebrity like Kobe Bryant, so that makes all the more meaningful this time around. Check out his birthday shout out from a couple years back (below).

Drake Is On Some "Thriller" Vibes On This Fine Tuesday

Drake was vibing out at the wee hours of the morning to some “Thriller.”

At the height of cancel culture in 2019, Michael Jackson faced it at some of the worst degrees. Leaving Neverland put a spotlight on age-old allegations of child molestation that continues to haunt the legacy of the groundbreaking pop singer. All of this came at a bad time for Drake who was still reeling in from the rocky release of Scorpion to a lukewarm reception. But of course, the inclusion of a posthumous MJ feature would warrant another hit single but that didn’t seem to be the case. Drake had reportedly removed the song from his setlist without any explanation, although he didn’t really need to provide one.

Despite all of this, it seems that Drake didn’t subscribe to “canceling” Michael Jackson after all but rather, dodged a bullet. The rapper hit the ‘Gram at the wee hours of the morning to share his vibes for the day. It appears as though it’s a “Thriller” type of morning for Aubrey Graham, although it’s unclear if it’s the actual video from Michael Jackson. As one Twitter user pointed out, the credits typically read, “Michael Jackson’s Thriller” while Drake’s screen simply reads, “Thriller.”

Drake received unreleased Michael Jackson vocals for “Don’t Matter To Me,” a song that was chosen as a single off of Scorpionand still received major radio play. Unlike “God’s Plan,” “Nice For What,” and “In My Feelings,” “Don’t Matter To Me” never managed to hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

DaBaby Teases New Album & Potential Drake Collab

DaBaby says new music is coming “asap.”

It looks like DaBaby is getting ready to drop some new music soon. While on the red carpet at the Grammy’s last night, the Charlotte sensation caught up with Billboard and was asked a few things abut what he’s got in stored for us.

When asked about carrying the momentum from last year into 2020, DaBaby said he’s already done with new music and just needs to put it out and present it. He said he’s just getting started and now it’s really time to “ball.” “2019 that was play time, that was the layup line. It’s time to ball now” DaBaby says confidently into the camera.

DaBaby then talked about his upcoming music, saying it’s coming “asap.” After joking that he wanted to “leak his whole album,” due to the excitement, DaBaby said that their camp was letting Stunna4Vegas have his shine & time coming off the release of Rich Youngin’ but that he’s coming right after that.

“Stunna4Vegas from Billionaire Dollar Entertainment. He just dropped this past week. We had to let him have his season, and I’m right behind him, Boom! Right behind him,” he reiterated.

Lastly, before leaving to go into the venue, DaBaby was asked about the rumored Drake collab, saying that he’s waiting on Drizzy to link up. He says they already planned to do it, but are wanting to have it happen organically rather than just rushing it.

“Whenever Drizzy ready I’m ready. We already chopped it up and spoke. We gon’ let it happen naturally. Organically that’s what it’s all about,” he says before answering that the sound of their hit would be that of a “billboard.”

Watch the short, 2-minute interview with DaBaby (below).

Kanye West Mentions "Drake On A Skateboard" On Unreleased Track

Aubrey Graham Pro Skater.

Where once was a fruitful creative chemistry, the relationship between Drake and Kanye West has since become fraught with tension. The narrative is well-documented, with Drizzy elaborating on his side of the story during a late-December stint on Rap Radar. And while Kanye has yet to address the situation in-depth, he has occasionally taken to the booth to air his frustrations. The most recent Drake namedrop occurred during an unreleased leak called “Wait For God,” as shared here by HHNM.

Kanye West Mentions "Drake On A Skateboard" On Unreleased Track

Michael Loccisano/Getty Images

“I was going to Dennys the other day, I was in Westwood. I seen a tall, light-skinned dude with a beard and shit, I said, ‘that look like Drake right there,'” says Kanye, over some reverberated guitars. “But he was like on a skateboard, I said, ‘I know that ain’t gon’ be Drake on a skateboard.'” He laughs. “I was like man I’ma talk to him right now! I pulled to I swear he looked just like him. I swear he brought beards for light skinned n***as back in style. I said on my first album ‘I’ma make sure light skinned n***as never come back in style.”

While some have chosen to interpret the line as disrespect, others seem to think Kanye is simply using humor to quell a growing tension. While the idea of Drake on a skateboard is amusing in itself, is it really far-fetched to imagine that Lil Wayne taught him how to ollie on one particularly slow night at the studio? Of course, given the history between Drizzy and Ye, it’s hard not to place every mention under the microscope and interpret accordingly. To be fair, Yeezy likely never intended for this to drop, so does it really count?

Drizzy is having a blast on his customized court.

It appears that Drake is paying a visit to his hometown of Toronto this week, and he certainly seems to be enjoying himself. The Canada-native shared some footage on his IG story on Thursday of his gorgeous mansion, including some shots of his NBA Regulation-sized basketball court. The rapper gave us a little peek at the OVO-emblazoned court, filming from above through a skylight on his roof. Drake, who is basically the Toronto Raptors’ personal cheerleader, displayed his own skills on the court as he proceeded to sink a shot from a tiered second story in the next clip.

Drake spent a solid $6.7 million on the 35,000 square-foot mansion, which he had built late last year after purchasing the two-acre property in 2015 in the city’s Bridle Path neighbourhood. Designer Ferris Rafauli completed the customized home, and after visiting Drake at his mansion, DJ Khaled was so impressed that he enlisted Ferris to build his next estate. Along with the massive court, Drizzy’s new home features a lavish lounge area, a grand kitchen with a marble island, a 10-car garage, and his own awards room. Drake had to seek approval from the city of Toronto in order to build fences twice the regulated height for privacy purposes, and he reportedly dropped $1 million on 20-foot trees to line the fence.

DJ Khaled Loves Drake’s Mansion So Much He Recruited The Designer To Build Him One

DJ Khaled wants in on the Embassy.

DJ Khaled and his wife Nicole Tuck just welcomed their second child a few days ago and already the mega-producer has his sights set on a new architectural opportunity. Most people are aware of Drake‘s stunning Toronto mansion that he built from the ground up in the city’s Bridle Path neigbourhood. The “Feel No Ways” musician had to get approval from the city to have taller-than-usual fences and his home features an OVO basketball court among other luxurious amenities.

DJ Khaled clearly made his way to the North to check out Drake’s home (since he hinted at another track on the way) and clearly he was taken back by the mansion’s good looks while he was there. Taking to Instagram, Khaled shouted out Drake’s home designer Ferris Rafauli, letting him know that he wants to hire him to build his next estate.

“Amazing job!!!!! I want you to build my next estate,” Khaled wrote. “I been thinking about the one we’re going to build together because Embassy is incredible!!!!! @champagnepapi inspired me on another level! I have more work to do!” DJ Khaled currently lives in Miami in a mansion of his own located in the Island Estates gated community.

Drake Reacts To Tying Glee Cast For Most Billboard Hot 100 Entries

Drake got slaps for days.

Drake‘s out here doing numbers — that you cannot deny. The Toronto-bred rapper is the biggest star on the planet and anytime he decides to drops new music, it’s a bonafide hit. I mean, he even boasted in 2018 that he got more slaps than The Beatles and cemented this milestone with a tattoo of himself leading The Beatles on his arm.

Perhaps a tattoo of the Glee cast might be underway next. As the rapper reached his 207th Hot 100 entry with Future‘s “Life Is Good,” which debuted at #2, Drake is now neck-in-neck with Glee cast for most Hot 100 entries in the chart’s existence. Like any accomplishment, Drake took a moment to acknowledge the milestone on Instagram simply saying, “One more to go. Gleeful.” He shared this following a screenshot of the news.

There’s no doubt at this point that he won’t exceed Glee’s record already. In fact, if “War” was up for streaming, he probably would’ve surpassed them already. However, he does seem to be plotting on a new album in the foreseeable future. The rapper did seem to be in album mode towards the end of 2019. There have also been rumors of WAATBA 2 dropping, although there hasn’t been any solid indication of a sequel to their joint project arriving yet.

Keep your eyes peeled for more news of Drizzy Drake.

DJ Khaled Hints That He’s Got Another Drake Hit On The Way

It appears the Drake vocals came in, again.

Yesterday, Billboard's Hot 100 chart updated and revealed that Drake and Future's latest collab, "Life Is Good", debuted at No. 2, sitting beneath Roddy Ricch's "The Box". Even if it didn't clench the top spot, "Life Is Good" marks Drake's 207th Hot 100 entry, which ties him for most entries with none other than... The Glee Cast. It's pretty hilarious that such an impressive record is held by a show that was only around for six seasons, rather than by The Beatles or something, but it seems very likely that Drake will be able to surpass The Glee Cast. DJ Khaled has hinted that he could be partially responsible for securing this achievement for Drake.

Drake's official fansite, Word On Road, posted the news that Drake tied The Glee Cast's record on Instagram and Khaled popped up in the comments with the simple message: "Stay tuned". While pretty much anything Drake drops is guaranteed to appear on the Hot 100, DJ Khaled and Drake have a history of making hits. Look back to "I'm On One", "No New Friends" and "For Free".

Drake also acknowledged how close he is to reaching another milestone in his career. He posted a video of himself on his Instagram story saying, "One more to go. Gleeful!" Even if he didn't break that record with "Life Is Good", it did make him the only artist in history to have 100 singles placed in the Hot 100's Top 40.

Lil Yachty Ranks Drake’s Discography, Gets Called Out For "More Life" Placement

Is Yachty tripping?

It's always a good day to rank an artist's discography for no reason. There didn't seem to be anything specific that prompted Lil Yachty to list his favorite Drake projects on Tuesday (Jan. 21), but he went for it anyway. The Atlanta rapper took to Twitter to share "My drake list in order from best to least best imo", which looks like this:

1. Take Care
2. Views
3. Nothing Was The Same
4. What A Time To Be Alive
5. Thank Me Later
6. If You're Reading This It's Too Late
7. More Life
8. Scorpion

Before we get heated over his picks, let's remember Lil Boat is entitled to his opinion, as we all are. While arguments for other albums can be made, Take Care in the top spot is a fairly uncontroversial opinion. What has people up in arms is Yachty's placement of More Life. The top replies under his tweet read: "You really sleeping on more life like that", "More Life is 1", "More Life heavily slept on". Evidently, fans dug Drake's 2017 playlist. Yachty was also accused of not paying proper respect to Drizzy's latest release, Scorpion.

How you feel about this ranking? What would your own look like? Also, do you think WATTBA should qualify? Let us know in the comments. You could also participate in Yachty's own poll that he posted on Twitter, but he narrowed it down to four albums.

Drake’s "Talkin’ That Sh*t" On Upcoming Record, Says RapRadar’s B. Dot

Described as a “time stamp joint,” an upcoming Drake record called “Say When” is about to fire the streets up.

It appears as though Drake‘s getting ready to drop a new album this year. Scorpion was underwhelming to many fans but it’s still Drake — when he releases an album, it’s an event, and at the very least, a few bangers to carry you through for a while. That being said, the anticipation for his new album is real. After dropping “War” and appearing on RapRadar for an in-depth two-hour interview, it seems like he has some sh*t up his sleeve this year.

RapRadar co-host Brian “B. Dot” Miller appeared on Genius’ For The Record where he spoke on an unreleased record he heard from Drake called “Say When.” According to B. Dot, Drake’s coming through bar heavy this time around on a record he described as being akin to a “5 a.m. in Toronto” or a “4 p.m. in Calabassas.”

“Prior to the interview, Drake sent me a record. He just said he wanted to set the tone of the interview,” he said. “It’s incredible.

It looks like we can expect some bar heavy Drake in the near future.

Future & Drake’s "Life Is Good" Secures Gold Certification

Life, good. The numbers, also good.

True, Drake and the artist formerly known as Meathead have been hip-hop superstars for a minute now, having enjoyed prime runs throughout the past decade. Now, with both men having comfortably entered their thirties, they have seemingly discovered the perfect method of expressing their satisfaction: endearing smug flex anthems. It seems as if whenever they get together, the pair allow themselves room to get cockier than ever, perhaps emboldened by their shared net worth and admiration for the fast life.

Future & Drake's "Life Is Good" Secures Gold Certification

Paras Griffin/Getty Images

Their latest concoction "Life Is Good" is no exception. By now, the song has become a fan favorite of sorts, with many playfully debating who reigned supreme. Driven by a badass beat switch courtesy of Ambezza, OZ & D. Hill, the precursor to an oft-teased What A Time To Be Alive 2 (never confirmed, but heavily speculated) has become yet another hit in Drake and Future's collective catalog.

According to chartdata's findings, "Life Is Good" has officially sold over 500,000 album-equivalent units in the United States alone, a staggering amount given that one such unit equates to 1,500 streams. While the milestone has yet to be confirmed by the RIAA, it's only a matter of time before Drizzy and Future find themselves sporting a shiny new addition to the wall.

Drake’s Baby Mama Sophie Brussaux Flaunts Bikini Body During Island Vacation

Abs for days.

The OVO rapper isn’t the only one living his best life. While rumors circulate about Drake purchasing a $1 million diamond chain for himself, Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his son Adonis, is flexing her bikini body on social media. Sophie doesn’t post too often to her Instagram page, aside from the occasional casual run-ins with the Pope where she gifts him a painting she created, but now she’s back to flaunt her luxury vacation.

In one post, Sophie shows off her citrine necklace as she thanks the company that created it for her. In another photo, she poses and shows off her “Xena vibes” as the sun sets behind her. Over on her Instagram Story, Sophie’s Turks and Caicos rest and relaxation time is completed with a selfie taken on a cliff oceanside.

She’s also seen in her bathroom, again in her bikini, posing in the mirror. She wrote over the clip that she’s “Happy, but I miss the gym.” The former adult movie star-turned professional artist seems to be enjoying her short break from mommy duties, so check out a few snaps of Sophie’s Turks and Caicos island vacation below.

DaBaby Names Artists He Wants To Collab With In 2020: Drake, Lizzo & More

DaBaby can make it happen.

Now that DaBaby has established a name for himself, his next focus is putting on other artists that he believes have potential. He has already completed the first step to accomplishing this goal: founding a label. When the Charlotte rapper said "I'm a young CEO, Suge", he was referring to the fact that he has his own imprint under Interscope Records. Considering that DaBaby is still in an early stage of his career, this is quite impressive. Stunna 4 Vegas is the first signee to Billionaire Baby Entertainment and DaBaby is doing all in his power to make sure he prospers. Stunna dropped a new album on Friday, entitled Rich Youngin, so DaBaby is thinking up ingenious ways to spread the word about it.

DaBaby just hosted a Twitter Q&A and, in order to participate, inquirers had to tweet out a link to Stunna 4 Vegas' project and attach its cover art. Many eagerly followed these guidelines to get a chance to interact with the one and only DaBaby. One person asked him which artists were on his wish-list to work with this year and he named: NBA Youngboy, Drake, Young Thug, Roddy Ricch, Lizzo, Meek Mill and more. Given how bright DaBaby's star is shining right now, all of these artists would probably agree to collaborate in a heartbeat.

DaBaby and Drake have already crossed paths, so they must've discussed hopping the studio together.

Drake Shows Love To "Some Of The Greatest Ever": MF Doom, Phonte & More

Drake goes back to the “Comeback Season” vibes.

Drake might be the biggest pop star on earth right now but he’s ultimately a student of hip-hop. Acts like Kanye West, Cam’ron, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne have clearly been influential in his sounds, as he’s admitted in the past, as well as R&B artists like Aaliyah, Sade, and Usher. However, he’s a student of the rap game, first and foremost, and last night, he hit the ‘Gram to pay homage to a few artists that he might not credit as often as he should for influencing him.

“Spent my night listening to some of the greatest ever,” he wrote in the first of eight Instagram Story posts where he showed love to a few artists he’s worked with in the past and some that are on his bucket list of collaborators, apparently. Among them are Elzhi, Phonte, Dwele, Slum Village, MF Doom, The Roots, and Cody Chesnutt.

For those familiar with Drake’s ATF/October’s Very Own Blogspot days, the rapper has collaborated with several of these artists in his early career. Not only has Drake called Phonte one of his biggest influences but they also worked together on “Think Good Thoughts” alongside Elzhi. Dwele and Little Brothe also linked up with Drake on “Don’t You Have A Man.” He’s also sampled The Roots and Slum Village in some of his recent work as well.

As for MF Doom, the rapper has previously paid homage to the masked MC in the past while sparking speculation of a collab in the works. Although that’s never been confirmed, Drake did rap over “Accordion” with Nickelus F back in the day.

Drake Shows Off His Poetic Prowess With Lengthy IG Caption

Drake isn’t afraid to show off his bars on any platform.

Drake has been teasing fans with new music for a long time now but in typical Drake fashion, he is making sure most information stays under wraps. The Canadian artist is one of the biggest acts in the entire world and in 2019, he didn’t release a project although he did come through with some singles here and there.

Just yesterday, Drake took to Instagram where he flexed some of his poetic prowess as a way to get fans excited about what he might be writing. As you can see, Drake came through with some interesting bars and rhyme schemes that will surely have fans demanding a project in the near future. Unfortunately, these bars didn’t come with some sort of announcement, such as a release date.

“Psychic readings, Corporate meetings, Power lunches, Private funding,100 push ups 100 crunches, Final touches, Lemon squeezes, Island breezes, Press releases, Moving speeches, Multi tasking, Torches passing, Strong attractions, Forceful actions, What’s really cracking, I’m maintaining thanks for asking,” Drake wrote.

For now, we’re going to have to be patient when it comes to new Drake music. It takes time to craft a great album and we’re sure the artist is dotting his i’s and crossing his t’s before dropping another body of work.

Paul George & Kawhi Leonard Planned Their Clippers Move At Drake’s Mansion

Drake’s Hidden Hills mansion was the spot.

Los Angeles has always been Laker town. Although the Clippers have spanked the Lakers on court for the last few years, nobody in the city of angels would tell you that it was Clipper town. That all changed last year when Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard made the jump from the Toronto Raptors to the Clippers, and Paul George went to meet up with him. Now, the Clippers have a championship team that has beaten the Lakers twice this season. Although LeBron James and the Lakers are the number one team in the Western Conference, the Clippers are slowly taking over the city with a renewed push for relevancy.

Paul Geroge recently sat down with ESPN for a cover story on his progress and his reasons for returning to his hometown, Los Angeles. In the lengthy piece, George speaks on how he and Kawhi first began plotting their move to the Clippers. George claims it all started when he called Kawhi, who he had known since their high school days in Southern California, to congratulate him on the Raptors championship win. “It was congratulating him on winning,” George stated. “That’s how it started … then it took on a life of its own.” The two shared innumerable text messages and phone calls before they had two in-person meetings at Drake‘s mansion in Hidden Hills, California. Drake had befriended Leonard while he was playing in Toronto, and loaned out his mansion to the finals MVP to use for free agency meetings while he was in Los Angeles. Drake really is everywhere.

Drake Surprises A$AP Rocky With An A$AP Yams Pendant Ahead Of Yams Day 2020

Try not to shed a tear.

Ahead of Yams Day 2020, A$AP Rocky got quite the thoughtful gift from his buddy, Drake. The annual music event, which the A$AP Mob started in honour of Mob founder, A$AP Yams, who died of an accidental overdose in 2015, kicked off at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Friday night. Drizzy decided to pay tribute to the late rapper by having a special gift made for Yams’ fellow Mob member and friend, A$AP Rocky. The “Life Is Good” rapper presented Rocky with an iced out pendant that bears Yams’ likeness to a T. In a video captured by photographer Angel Rivera, Rocky is shown absolutely awestruck by the incredible gift.

“This is crazy, I just wanna look at it,” Rocky says in the clip. “Man, Drizzy a good dude, bro.” The video features some close-up shots of the pendant, and there’s no denying that the jeweller, Jason of Beverly Hills, has managed to capture Yams’ appearance in jewelry form perfectly. The detail and consideration that went into nailing all of the elements, from his braids and facial birthmark to his cheek tattoo and his affinity for Coogi sweaters, is impressive. It’s revealed in the video that they “went over all the details” and “made a ton of changes until it was perfect,” and it shows. The piece consists of 600 grams of gold and 15 carats of flawless diamonds, and reportedly took over three months to manufacture. Though the price of this piece has not yet been revealed, similar pendants are valued at around $150,000. Jason of Beverly Hills has been commissioned by Drake to design pieces for him in the past, most recently some matching $400,000 OVO eagle and owl chains for himself and his “Life Is Good” collaborator, Future.

Along with A$AP Mob, Yams Day 2020 featured performances by 2 ChainzBun B, Hoodrich Keem, Joey Bada$$, Kenny Beats, Metro Boomin‘, Nav, , Night Lovell, Pierre Bourne, Pop Smoke, Smooky Margiellaa, YG, and more.

HNHH TIDAL Wave: Future, Drake, Lil Baby & Mac Miller Bolster This Week’s Playlist

The latest edition of the TIDAL Wave playlist includes Quando Rondo, Moneybagg Yo, Stormzy, Dreamville, and more.

Without accounting for the new releases from today, the HotNewHipHop staff was busy mulling over each of the fresh vibes introduced to us to decide what deserves placement on our TIDAL-exclusive, staff-curated playlist. TIDAL Wave has been a constant in our office for months, offering the readers a chance to get to know our editorial staff a little bit better, while also providing you with some of the hottest drops from the last two-to-three weeks. To start off the year, we were gifted new projects from Moneybagg Yo, Quando Rondo, and a few others before things were shaken up today. Next week's playlist will certainly be fun to put together but for now, let's focus on last week's come-ups.

It wouldn't be right if things didn't start off with Future's new single "Life Is Good," which features Drake. The song is arguably still the biggest hip-hop collaboration to release this month and it will surely earn a high placement on the Billboard Hot 100 next week. Following up that record is Lil Baby's new single and the pre-Circles single posthumously dropped by Mac Miller's estate. We've also got two Stormzy joints on deck from his Wiley beef, as well as some select Dreamville cuts, new Mick Jenkins, and the Khalid single.

Let us know whose list is the best this week and, if you're not already on game, sign up for a free 30-day trial with TIDAL right here.

Drake Doesn’t Know If He’s Doing Duck Face: "This Really Feel Like A Normal Face To Me"

Drake’s selfie game has been the topic of discussion but he’s unsure why.

Over the years, men have particularly have gained notoriety for their selfie game. In fact, there have been articles exploring the “selfie face” and others that have provided steps to take a “good selfie.” Drake‘s notorious for pulling off the duck face in his selfies which has become a joking point in the comment section of his Instagram page. Tory Lanez even jokingly roasted Drake about his “kissy lips in the camera.”

Despite what the public says, Drake might be showing some signs of insecurity in his selfie game. The rapper shared a selfie of himself, doing his iconic duck face, while presumably playing hoops in his home, but he asked whether he’s doing “the face” or not. “Am I doing the face right here? Because this really feel like a normal face to me,” he captioned the photo along with several laughing emojis. To answer the question, though: yes, Drake. You are doing the face but we aren’t mad about it.

In other Drake-related news, the rapper recently announced that he’s working on his new album which he suggested is in its final stages. The rapper dropped “War,” his UK drill-influenced banger that’s yet to make its way onto streaming services and collaborated with Future on “Life Is Good” which has been making the rounds in the past week.

Future & Drake Drop "Life Is Good" Merch Inspired By Their Day Jobs In The Track’s Visuals

Everything is available for pre-order on Future’s online store.

The official “Life Is Good”-inspired merch has been officially unveiled and is available for pre-order purchase on Future‘s official online store. The collection is based off of the music video for the Drake-featured track, in which Future and Drake had to stretch their imaginations in order to pull off pretending to work at various regular day jobs. Their positions working at places like a fast food restaurant, a mechanic’s garage, and their version of the Apple store in the Fred-Foster-creatively-directed visual were used in the designs for various pieces in the collection.

The collection includes a black T-shirt with a red “Hotlanta” logo embellished on the chest, the same logo found on Drake and Future’s uniforms from the fast food chain where they work in the music video. The T-shirt also has “Life Is Good” and “Future” printed on the back, matching the print found on the front of the grey hoodie from the collection. There’s also a classic trucker hat available with the name “Future” embroidered on the panel, mechanic’s style. The collection also features some collectibles, such as a cassette tape, CD and signed 7” vinyls of the track. Each of the vinyls feature a different logo of one of the companies that the rappers worked for in the visuals as the sleeve art. The apparel ranges in price from $35 USD to $65 USD, while a digital download of the track starts the collectibles at $0.69 USD and the signed vinyls cap off the collectibles price at $13.98 USD.

Popcaan speaks highly of Drake and Vybz Kartel.

Dancehall’s always had a global appeal but in recent times, it seems like the sounds have seeped into the sound of pop music. Jhonni Blaze Regrets Drake Hook Up Rumors: "He Unblocked Me" After Apology

The singer laid it all out on the line.

She’s made her way through a few reality shows throughout the years and some say she left a path of destruction along the way. Whether she was fighting her Love & Hip Hop New York castmates or arguing with Ms. Deb on Growing Up Hip HopJhonni Blaze is a talent who is known for her temper more than her music.

The singer has also been caught up in a few headlines, as well, associated with some of our favorite rappers. Jhonni recently chatted with Supa Cindy from 99 Jamz radio station to talk about her controversial history and the spiritual growth she’s experienced over the years. While there, Supa Cindy couldn’t help but ask Jhonni about the famous men she’s been linked to including Empire‘s Bryshere Gray (who is just her friend), Fetty Wap (who she worked on a few records with), Rich Dollaz (who she was “talk-dating” at one point), and then Drake, who blocked her after she spread rumors about him.

“Never dated Drake,” Jhonni flat out admitted. She said when she was in her early twenties, she was “all about being into the brag and if something doesn’t go my way, I wanna go off on somebody and post their number.” When she learned that Drake was “talking to” her friends, she decided to air him out on social media. Years ago, she even sat down with VladTV and said that she and the rapper had a “five-some” without protection, a declaration she would later apologize about.

“It was just really bad, I’ve apologized,” Jhonni said. “He unblocked me, that’s a good thing... Everything’s cool. I feel like one day we’ll bump into each other and it’ll be I [apologize], he’s heard me say [it] millions of times. We all grow up and build and become better people so that was just something that I wish I was this age now. It would have went totally different.” She added that Drake is a “phenomenal artist” who is “so dope.”

Check out more from Jhonni Blaze below including her opening up about being a sex trafficking victim and working on bettering herself after the traumas in her life.

YK Osiris Asks Judge For Travel Approval To Record With Drake In Toronto: Report

YK is trying to hit the 6ix.

The self-proclaimed King of R&B is trying to hit the studio with Drake right now, or at least, that’s what he’s telling the judge. According to TMZ, YK Osiris filed paperwork asking the judge for permission to travel to Toronto in order to record with Drake but the 6ix God was apparently not aware of this.

The rapper is currently on bond for an assault case where he’s accused of attacking his girlfriend. He filed documents asking that the judge gives him the green light to fly to Toronto because he has an opportunity to work with Drake. His lawyer even filed documents with emails from Preme, Drake’s affiliate, asking for Osiris to head to the 6ix to record for several days. The studio time was booked from Jan. 13th to 16th and Osiris decided to apply for this on the 14th.

The publication reports that Osiris has yet to sign off yet but things are looking favorable for him as he’s previously received approval and the D.A. has no problems with him recording with Drake. But as previously mentioned, Drake’s camp said that his management wasn’t aware Preme reached out and made it clear no collaborations are in the works with YK Osiris and Drake.

Despite the reports, though, the rapper did share a post on Instagram with his location set to Toronto last night. He also shared videos on his Instagram Story recording in Scarborough, Toronto with Preme.

Stormzy Explains Why Drake Using UK Sound "Is Undeniably A Good Thing"

Stormzy looks at the good and the bad of Drake dabbling into the UK Sound.

Stormzy is undoubtedly one of the leading global figures in grime, proving himself last week with his recent bout with Wiley. Although a response to "Eediyat Skengman 3" hasn't arrived yet, Big Stormzy has been making the rounds in the U.S., appearing on Hot 97, making his U.S television debut on Jimmy Fallon, and most recently, sat down with Charlamagne Tha God for an in-depth conversation. They discussed a variety of topics but as you'd expect from Charlamagne, the topic of Drake's adaption of UK culture came into the conversation.

"I think it helps because Drake is undeniably a fuckin' massive, mahoosive, gargantuan artist, do you know what I mean? And an incredible artist, as well. Having a big incredible artist pay homage or pay recognition to a style or a genre is undeniably a good thing, a positive," he said. Stormzy explained that he's also not very in tune with American's outlook on UK culture so he's not the most familiar with how people outside of the UK's perception of Drake's grime/drill flow.

"The undeniability of it, of course, is [Drake] brings exposure and that brings a light to a situation that no one -- listen, what Drake has done, in terms of having eyes locked in on culture is undeniable. That can't happen without -- that's a massive light onto what we do," he said. "You get your purists who are never going to like that idea of a massive artist gettin' involved with a niche thing."

Paul George Claims Drake Played A Role In Kawhi Leonard Union

The Clippers are looking like a real contender.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard made waves this summer when they decided to team up on the Los Angeles Clippers. Both of these players are from California so their union was the perfect way to go back home and play for a hometown team. Of course, Leonard signed there as a free agent while George was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Interestingly enough, it took a lot before these two decided to make their respective decisions. In an interview with Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, George spoke about what led to his relationship with Leonard.

As it turns out, George called Leonard to congratulate him on his championship. This led to some extended talks and texts. Eventually, the two met up at Drake's house on two separate occasions and eventually made plans to link up and change the league for years to come.

As of right now, the Clippers are fourth place in the Western Conference although much of this has to do with the fact that the team isn't healthy. Both Kawhi and George have been injured at points which has led to some chemistry woes. Once both players heal, this team will be one of the dangerous squads in the NBA.

If they end up winning it all, Drake will have had his hand in two straight NBA titles.

Drake Basically Lives In A Museum: See Tupac & Snoop Dogg Collectables

A letter from Obama, a LeBron James action figure, and much more.

At this point in his career, Drake can afford just about anything he could possibly want. While financial wealth isn't the end goal for all recording artists, it certainly is a motivator for the majority of rappers. People see the flexing that occurs on social media and they think to themselves: "if I perfected my skills as a rapper, maybe I could get this rich?" The reality of the situation is that most people will never get to Drake's level of success. The Canadian artist has calculated his rise to superstardom for years, taking advantage of certain situations and screwing his head on tight for a long ride. We've seen glimpses of the interior of Drake's lavish Toronto mansion in the past and today, he felt like showing off a number of high-ticket collectables that he's got laying around the crib. Some of them are so special that a price can't even be estimated for them.

Updating his Instagram story with handfuls of images from around the house, Drake gave fans a sneak peek into some of the things he values most. Much of the artwork displayed in the candid imagery has a musical background, including a cassette tape from DJ Screw, a vinyl of Michael Jackson's Thriller, and a gift from Tom Ford to commemorate his use of "Tuscan Leather." Drake has often found his interests pouring out into other realms though. Clearly a super-hero movie fan, he has action figures of the Joker and Harley Quinn, as well as some sports ones, including one of LeBron James when he was with the Miami Heat. Perhaps the most special possession that Drizzy showed off is the personal letter he received from Barack and Michelle Obama, thanking him for supporting their daughter Sasha at her sweet sixteen. Black-and-white photographs of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg round out the post, making us seriously want to explore the rest of Drake's crib.

What's your favorite item that he showed off today?

Big Sean’s "Detroit II" Rumored To Feature Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Young Thug

Can you see any other names on the list?

Is Big Sean prepping for Detroit II? Internet sleuths think so. The Motor City rapper has been hyping up his new project for months now, sharing that he’s gone through his sort of spiritual awakening that caused him to self-reflect. Sean has also stated that he’s making the best music of his career and as fans await his forthcoming LP, there may be another mixtape on its way, as well.

On Tuesday, YK Osiris shared a few photos of himself in the studio with Sean Don. Initially, fans were questioning what these two artists were working on, but then they began to notice that there was a whiteboard in the background that listed features for Detroit II. While it’s small print and difficult to read when one tries to zoom in, some people say that they can clearly see a few noteworthy names on the list.

After the internet started buzzing about the sneak peek, Sean decided to stir the pot by re-posting the image with the caption, “Ready to eat! Swipe to see a glimpse of the menu. ??.” Decipherable names are Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future, and Young Thug, but the others are a bit of a toss-up. Check it out for yourself below and let us know what other names you can spot. If you haven’t already, make sure to give Big Sean’s acclaimed 2012 mixtape Detroit a few spins.

Yearbook Photos Of DaBaby, Drake, Travis Scott & Over 30 Other Rappers Go Viral On Twitter

Check out these photos of a bunch of rappers in their early days.

Twitter account, Culture Central, shared a tweet on Sunday that features photos of "36 of your favorite rappers as kids." It appears as though nearly all of the photos are from yearbooks or school photoshoots, and the ages of the artists range from as young as toddlers to as old as high school seniors. Though it got a few details wrong—the photo claiming to be T-Pain is actually a young Lil Jon, A$AP Rocky's dollar sign is missing from his name, 50 Cent has a dollar sign in his name, for some reason—that were pointed out by Twitter users in the replies, the post is mostly accurate. Photos of plenty of the best (and some of the most mid) of the rap game are included, from OGs to newcomers, and some who are no longer with us.

In order, the tweet includes Post Malone, "T-Pain" (Lil Jon), Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, French Montana, A$AP Rocky, Diddy, Drake, Lil Pump, XXXTentacion, Nipsey Hussle, Chief Sosa, NBA Youngboy, Megan Thee Stallion, YNW Melly, Tay K, DaBaby, 21 Savage, T.I, Kodak Black, Cardi B, Jay-Z, Offset, Tyga, J. Cole, 50 Cent, Quavo, Eminem, 6ix9ine, Blueface, Lil Tecca, Trippie Redd, Future, Bhad Bhabie, Juice WRLD, and Travis Scott. Though plenty would argue that there are some names in this group that would certainly not qualify as their favourite rappers (Bhad Bhabie, for instance), it's still sweet to see childhood photos of the artists we admire and look up to. Plenty of hip hop fans flooded the comments with their own responses to the post. Some took to dragging currently incarcerated rapper, YNW Melly, for how large his head appears in his photo.

French Montana also got dragged relentlessly.

Some noticed that A$AP Rocky practically looks exactly the same then as he does now (i.e., very good looking).

Overall, the post had people laughing and enjoying the throwbacks of their faves. Whose yearbook photo was this post missing that you'd want to see?

Rick Ross Explains What Happened To Drake Collab Project, "YOLO"

Remember?

Once upon a time, Rick Ross and Drake teased a collaborative project. You could determine exactly how long ago this occurred based on the fact that they planned on naming their mixtape “YOLO”. It was first mentioned in 2011, before this acronym became played-out and started eliciting physical reactions of discomfort. While the topic of “YOLO” was rehashed in a few interviews over the years, it was pretty much filed in the drawer of music collab folklore alongside other teased projects that never materialized (Migos x Young Thug, Chance The Rapper x Childish Gambino, J. Cole x Kendrick Lamar, etc.).

In a new interview with Complex, Rick Ross was asked once again about “YOLO”. While there is a zero percent chance that he and Drake ever release a joint venture under this expired title, Rozay only had nice things to say about Drake and claimed there is always a possibility that their chemistry results in a collab project.

“[‘YOLO’] was just a vibe. You never know what could happen in the future, but me and Drake, him being in Miami at that time [in 2011-2012], and him coming by the crib every day, we was spending a lot of time together. And it was a serious possibility. We wasn’t just talking shit. We really was in the studio a lot. It’s just not the same no more. Meaning, the way he travel and the way I move. But is it a possibility? There’s always a possibility for that, because it would be simple for us.”

Ross continued to express his fondness for his collaborative work with Drake:

“…Whenever I collaborate with the homie, it’s always the best of the best. So, if we just kicking some street shit, and if it feel like some YOLO shit or if it feel like some “Aston Martin Music” shit or “Gold Roses,” I always find the best in it. Because whenever we collaborate, I love when I hear him go from bars to switching that shit all the way to the tune of Keith Sweat. That’s something that keeps him in his own lane. So I enjoy both.”

After Complex pointed out that the rapper duo apparently has ten songs in the stash already, Ross shared that he’s sitting on mountains of instrumentals ready to be used. He imagined three projects that could divvy up these beats: “I’ve got enough production to do a me and Drake project and a Nas project. The next Maybach Music Self Made 4.”

Drake Curse Is Back; Baltimore Ravens Lose After Drizzy Shouts Out Lamar Jackson

Days after Drake wished Lamar Jackson a happy birthday, his Ravens lost in a stunning upset.

It looks like the Drake curse has struck again. For years the 6 God has been a so-called bandwagon fan and has been spotted supporting several high-profile programs and professional sports teams, particularly the cream of the crop in their respective sport. Regardless of his love & support, Drizzy has had a costly effect on his teams. For instance, Drake was spotted wearing an Alabama sweatshirt just days before they lost to Clemson last year, and British boxer Anthony Joshua, who lost his fight to Anthony Ruiz, posed with Drake and vowed to “break the curse,” which he couldn’t. Elsewhere, there’s the Conor McGregor support right before he lost to Khabib, and let's not forget about Serena Williams who entered the U.S. Open in 2015 as the top seed and ended up losing to unranked Italian player Roberta Vinci, which Drake happened to be in attendance watching live when that happened. We could go on with other Drake curses, but you get the point.

Earlier this week, Drake decided to show some love to superstar QB Lamar Jackson and wish him a happy birthday on January 7th. He did so by giving him a shoutout on IG, while sharing a pic of his sweatpants that read “Trusss” on it, the famous catch phrase of the Ravens this year and Mark Ingram.

However, right after Drake gave him the shoutout, fans instantly feared that the curse was already in effect, including Ravens own safety DeShon Elliott, who asked him to wait until after the Super Bowl, and what do you know… they were right. Drake’s support for the Ravens earlier this week has once again ended Baltimore’s hopes at the championship parade this year or at least that's what the internet like to believe. Ravens lost Saturday night at home to the Tennessee Titans 28-12.

ComplexSports shared a fitting image on their IG page following the game, reminding folks of Drake’s costly effect on their teams. One person wrote in the comments, “Yoo any team drake likes in America really is cursed ???,” while another added, “Every time.”

Is Drake’s curse really a thing? Or is it sheer coincidence that whatever team he supports ends up losing? I can't tell ya, but I’m sure there’s some people down in Baltimore that could. Read some of the reactions and tweets from Twitter (below).

2020 is continuing to boast a strong start.

Following a strong start to the year last week, our weekly “FIRE EMOJI” playlist is back with another update filled with the hottest releases from the last seven days.

Kodak Black Dying To Do Joint Album With Drake: "I Am Your Biggest Fan Sir"

Kodak is a confirmed Drake stan.

Kodak Black may be behind bars at the moment, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t browsing social media from time to time. The South Florida rapper was perusing Instagram on Friday, when he came across a photo of one of his idols, Drake, and decided to show his love for the “Life Is Good” rapper.

Drake shared two photos of himself in a post on January 4th wearing a white Nike hat and showing off his recently pierced ears. Of course, since Kodak doesn’t have access to IG at all times, he didn’t see the photos until 6 days later on January 10th. Despite the fact that Mr. Champagne Papi has plenty of more recent posts, Kodak chose to share his feelings on this one. “I Am Your Biggest Fan Sir. I Love Your Music Sir,” he wrote in the first comment, followed by a separate comment stating, “If We Can’t Do A Whole Album Together, I Never Want To Do A Song With You Sir.” The love and respect is definitely mutual for Drake, as he gave Kodak immense praise when he dropped his album, Dying To Love, back in 2018 before he was sentenced to forty-six months in prison in November on charges related to obtaining firearms illegally. In December, Kodak shared an awful story from his time in jail in which he claimed to have been laced with drugs by prison staff and kept in solitary confinement in abhorred conditions.

Meek Mill Pledges Allegiance To Drake With "Life Is Good" Quote

Meek Mill is feeling Drizzy's "Life Is Good" verse.

So much can change in a few years. Despite being bitter enemies for a brief spell, Drake and Meek Mill have since forged an unbreakable bromance much to the delight of their respective fanbases. Though we've only seen one collaboration in "Going Bad" since their mutual decision to bury the hatchet, it seems as if Meek and Drizzy will remain in constant communication whenever new music is being created. So much so that Meek recently took to IG to further pledge his loyalty to the Champagne Papi.

Meek Mill Pledges Allegiance To Drake With "Life Is Good" Quote

David Becker/Getty Images
"Someone hit ya block up I’ll tell you if it’s us," writes Meek, alongside a picture of a grinning Drake. Clearly, he's a fan of "Life Is Good," the most recent dose of menacing luxury raps from the What A Time To Be Alive duo. It should also be noted that Meek's line suggests a pledge of loyalty, all but solidifying himself as one of Drake's go-to generals. Perhaps it's to be expected after Drizzy publically declared his comeback to be the greatest of all time

While this is hardly a groundbreaking development, it's certainly cool to see how far Meek and Drake have come. From lyrical warfare to open declarations of bromance. What a time to be alive.

Future & Drake Perfected Menacing Luxury Raps On "Life Is Good"

What makes Future and Drake such an interesting duo?

When Nas dropped off “Life Is Good” in 2012, it felt like reassurance. A reminder that, in spite of a few concerting personal narratives, his equilibrium was back on track. Fast forward to 2020, where Future and Drake have borrowed the expression for their first major single since What A Time To Be Alive. One might think a moment of humility was upon us; both men have witnessed their personal baggage going public, with Drake admitting to having been “caught slipping” in this very chorus. Yet the stakes have become too high, the fortune too vast. When Future and Drake connect, it’s opulence over everything. It’s part of what makes them such an enjoyable partnership; the hip-hop equivalent to Fraiser and Niles Crane.

For the most part, Drake’s contributions to “Life Is Good” dwell on his material gains, and how they serve to contextualize his cultural dominance. Within the opening lines, he’s already dropped an elite level flex about his acrobatic Patek -- courtesy of Virgil Abloh, esteemed designer and writer of “Brick” on bricks. Shortly thereafter, he’s boasting about a “manor house in Rosewood,” establishing his reach as international. Essentially, he’s reminding his haters that they’re simply beneath him, a brazen cockiness no doubt emboldened by Future Hndrxx, the self-proclaimed “well-known nuisance.” He even makes reference to Kanye West hijacking June 2018 for his Surgical Summer, a move Drizzy deemed to be on some serpentine energy.

It’s interesting to note that while Drake remains adamant that “Life Is Good,” many of his chosen exhibits lead back to material wealth. For an artist who often speaks candidly about his insecurities and doubts on a personal level, some of his material with Future can feel a bit shallow in comparison. Even his section of the instrumental seems to lack any urgency, like a formidable mobster who may or may not have gained a wine gut. Still, what he loses in substance he makes up for in swagger; the duo have a formula and little reason to dete from it. Perhaps Drizzy is simply content to sit shotgun, as he did back on What A Time To Be Alive. In reality, “Life Is Good” remains Future’s show through and through.

Driving that point home further is a beat switch, a tactic that has become a staple in Future’s arsenal. Cementing Fewtch as a man of action, the spooky instrumental picks up the pace accordingly. While Drake opted for a success-is-the-best revenge approach, Future seems content to return to the trenches and handle his business accordingly. “I'm tryna avoid nonsense, get Osama sprayed in this bitch,” he raps. “They had the candlelight lightin' it up, n***a anybody could get it.” Cementing himself as a "poor high class" individual, there's a validity there that speaks to the appeal of Future's image. Even at his bougiest, there's an underlying sense of menace arisen from a hustler's personal experience. And damn it, the formula works. Perhaps simply it's a shared sense of expensive tastes that allow Future and Drake to find common ground -- neither one seems inclined to challenge themselves during a collaboration. It's not like they need to -- when it comes to providing elite-level threatening luxury raps, Future and Drake are the logical conclusion.

Drake & Virgil Abloh Show Off The Actual Patek Watch From "Life Is Good"

Check out the actual Patek watch that’s “goin’ nuts” and “doing front flips.”

Drake and Future finally bestowed their highly anticipated single, “Life Is Good,” on us today, and the title could not ring more true. Though it was not yet known what the shoot was for, the first hint that a collab was on the way was revealed when the two legends were spotted filming a music video in December, posing as fast food workers. The actual name of the single was revealed last week along with a snippet of the song, followed by an official announcement Thursday that the single would be dropping at midnight. While the world awaits the highly speculated sequel to their joint album What A Time To Be Alive, “Life Is Good” is certainly enough to hold us over.

With the release of “Life Is Good,” Drake decided to put a “face” to some of the lyrics, by posting a photo of the Patek watch he boasts about ont he track. The lyric, “Virgil got the Patek on my wrist doing front flips” in Drake’s first verse could be heard in the snippet that Future shared on his IG story last week, but the Patek watch is mentioned again in the chorus on the line, “Virgil got that Patek on my wrist goin’ nuts.” Drake took to Instagram to show us just which watch that Off White designer Virgil Abloh designed, with a little sarcasm.

“New designer you guys probably have no idea what’s going on in the scene super underground all good I will put you on to Veerjil Ablow,” Drizzy captioned the photo of the green Patek Philippe x Virgil Abloh timepiece, intentionally spelling Virgil’s name wrong and playing the role of the pretentious fashion buff. Virgil appreciated the joke, commenting, “Hahahahaha hahah. It’s too early in the new decade to laugh this hard ????.”

He also shared the same photo on his own account with the caption, “‘no rap cap.'” Drake commented “Front flips,” referring to the lyric in his verse. Drake’s affinity for flashy jewelry has been a recurring theme during this “Life Is Good” hype. After dropping over $400K on a matching chain with Future, it was reported on Friday that he also purchased a $1 million 100-carat diamond heart-shaped chain for himself. Drake is icing himself to a new level for this (hopefully) new WATTBA era, and who can blame him.

Drake Drops $1 Million On 100-Carat Diamond Heart Chain: Report

Just a little somethin’-somethin’.

We can only imagine what Drake‘s jewelry collection looks like, let alone the room he houses it all in. We recently reported on the matching eagle and owl head chains that Drake and Future purchased—bling that reportedly set them back $400K. It’s believed that the “Life is Good” collaborators were hinting at their joint single, but it may also mean What a Time to Be Alive 2 may be arriving sooner than later.

It’s not uncommon for rappers to drop a few stacks on some new ice, but Drake has been outdoing himself lately. Back in November, it was revealed that the OVO mogul reportedly spent $500K on a massive 22-carat, platinum-plated diamond ring from Gemma Fine Jewelry. Keeping with the heart theme, TMZ shared on Friday morning that Drake copped himself yet another chain, but according to the outlet, he spent over $1 million on this one.

TMZ stated that Gemma Fine Jewelry was responsible for this piece, as well. It’s said to be 100 carats and features a series of heart-shaped pendants all around. Check out the video of Drake’s shiny new necklace below and let us know if you’d drop $1 million on a chain if you had the chance.

Drake & Future’s Anticipated "Life Is Good" Single & Video Lands Release Date

What a time to be alive.

Rumors of a new project from Drake and Future have swirled around for a minute, although no confirmation has been made. What is confirmed, though, is that they have new music in the cut. With the number of leaks they've faced, and snippets that have surfaced, it's evident that they got stash worth of unreleased material but the question is: when will it see the light of day?

While we anticipate What A Time To Be Alive 2, an album that may or may not exist, Drake and Future will be releasing their highly anticipated single, "Life Is Good" tomorrow. The song is set to debut on iHeartRadio tomorrow and set to play every hour. This is a great way to kick off the new year, although it's unclear whether the video is supposed to drop tomorrow as well.

The two rappers were previously spotted filming the music video for the song at a burger joint. The two rappers ditched the rapper lifestyle while embracing the fast-food get-up, headset and all. The video is directed by Director X so there's no doubt that it will be a stunning visual overall.

As Future and Drake continued to ramp up the hype for the single, they recently debuted their matching FBG x OVO chain that had a eagle and owl sitting next to it. Delivered by Jason of Beverly Hills, the two chains are worth $400K.

Drake & Future Debut Matching $400K+ Chains In Anticipation For "Life Is Good" Collab

Life is good, indeed.

Drake and Future have been playing with our feelings about releasing a follow-up to their 2015 joint project, What A Time To Be Alive, for what feels like forever. Just yesterday, though, they brought the hype to new levels when they announced an upcoming collaboration between the two of them called “Life Is Good.” Now, it looks like these two buddies are looking to solidify their new era with some matching bling.

The rappers purchased some matching eagle and owl chains to symbolize OVO Sound. Their new ice made its debut on Future’s Instagram story with the caption, “LIFE is GOOD,” to amp up the already overwhelming excitement for the track. Drake opted for a gold version while Future chose silver, but other than that, the chains are identical, and reportedly valued at over $400,000. According to Complex, a representative for jeweller Jason of Beverly Hills confirmed the price, and shared that Jason hand-delivered the pieces to the rappers in Atlanta for a music video shoot.

Drake has previously tapped the jeweller for multiple pieces, including a commission for a “life size” owl chain back in 2018. He also asked Jason to design a $150K ring with over 30 carats of diamonds in honour of the Toronto Raptors championship win in October.

A$AP Rocky Thinks Drake’s Friend Preme Looks Like Tupac In This Pic

Happy birthday, Preme!

Upon first glance, you would think that Drake travelled back in time to have a chill session with one of rap’s biggest legends ever. The picture that the Torontonian posted today to his social media profiles shows him wearing a white bucket hat during a video shoot with his boys. The man he’s sitting next to is known mostly for his joint record “Jackie Chan” with Post Malone, as well as for being Drake’s best friend. Preme doesn’t always resemble Tupac Shakur but, for some reason, he looks nearly identical to the late icon in this shot. A$AP Rocky made the connection in the comments.

Celebrating Preme’s birthday with a gracious post online, Drake sent his well wishes to Preme on his big day. “Happy MORE LIFE day to my brother who always has truth and belief on deck for me and fends everything I do because we have always had the same vision,” wrote one of the best-selling artists of the decade. Carnage echoed that message but A$AP Rocky felt like pointing out what we were all thinking. Homeboy seriously looks like Pac.

“At first glance my n***a looked like pac in 96,” typed Flacko in the comments, bringing up a good point. Preme would never be mistaken for a Tupac imposter on the regular but, in this shot, there is no denying the similarities.

Join us in wishing a Happy Birthday to Tupac Shakur Preme.

Drake Throws Back With Nicki Minaj As She’s About To Pass Him In Spotify Popularity

Young Money is the roster and a monster crew.

When he was putting together his Young Money roster years ago, Lil Wayne seriously didn't pull any punches. Keeping himself at the forefront of his "big three," Weezy F Baby recruited Nicki Minaj and Drake to fill out his superstar team of talent. At their height, Young Money Entertainment was a serious force to be reckoned with. The versatility that Drake presented mixed with the raw bars that Nicki and Weezy could spit earned them a bunch of hit records, shooting both Minaj and Drizzy to superstar levels of fame. The two have enjoyed sustained careers and, although Minaj is no longer releasing much new music, she remains one of the biggest musicians in the entire world. According to Spotify, she currently occupies the eighteenth spot on a list of their most-streamed artists, clocking in 43 million listeners on a monthly basis. Drake is only ahead of her by a mere million listeners and, at the rate Minaj's fanbase continues to grow on the platform, people believe she's about to surpass him. With both of them striving at this stage of their careers, Drake decided to bounce back to the glory days of Young Money, showing off a photo of them from years ago.

Updating his Instagram story today, Drake looked back on the memories he built with the Young Money roster -- specifically Nicki Minaj. A major throwback was uploaded from last decade, showing the Canadian star with a "deer in the headlights" look while Minaj stared down the camera, possibly channelling her alter-ego Roman Zolanski in the shot.

Take a trip down memory lane with Drake and Nicki Minaj. Peep the image below.

Drake & Future Continue Teasing New Collaboration "Life Is Good"

Drake said what he had to and did what he did.

For a while now, fans have been holding out hope for Drake and Future to drop What A Time To Be Alive 2. In all fairness, the hype hasn’t been entirely unfounded. Both parties have teased interest in making it happen, spanning as far back as May of 2019. Recently, Drake and Future have been ramping up the hype, making it official that a single called “Life Is Good” is indeed on the way. And it must be close — Future has taken to IG to share a snippet of the upcoming track, showing off some dazzling ice in the process.

“I can never tell the shit, it is what it is,” raps Drizzy, in the snippet. “Said what I had to and did what I did, never turned my back God forbid, Vergil got the Patek on my wrist doing front flips.” Insofar as vibe, “Life Is Good” seems relatively laid-back, with an atmospheric instrumental and up-tempo percussion. For the most part, it seems to encapsulate pure wealth; no surprise there, given what Future and Drake ultimately bring out of each other. Still, it’s always a monumental occurrence when the pair link up, and we can only hope “Life Is Good” represents the first of many collaborative bangers to come.

Should you be interested in catching a snippet, be sure to check out Future’s IG story while it’s still up. Are you looking forward to this one getting an official release?

Drake’s OVO x Air Jordan 14 "Kentucky" Sample Resurfaces: Photos

Drake’s OVO samples continue to dazzle sneakerheads.

Over the past few weeks, the internet has been flooded with new images of OVO Air Jordan samples. Earlier today, we gave you some images of the OVO Air Jordan 11 which is poised to become one of the most infamous shoes Drake has ever helped create. Back in 2019, an OVO Air Jordan 14 sample hit the internet that has many people excited. Of course, this sneaker was a blue and white Kentucky PE that had the OVO own on the tongue. Gold OVO branding was also found on the back heel.

Thanks to the Instagram sneaker account @zsneakerheadz, we now have a detailed in-depth look at the infamous Kentucky PE. As you can see, the shoe perfectly represents the team’s colors and would look perfect on the players’ feet during the March Madness tournament. Most Drake sneakers are known for being white and gold so seeing some blue is a welcome change of pace. Unfortunately, we will never see this shoe on the market. If you want to cop it, you’ll have to fork over thousands of dollars.

Let us know in the comments below what you think of these. Would these be worth the price tag or would you rather save your money?

Ravens Fans Lose It After Drake Gives Lamar Jackson A Co-Sign

Could the Drake curse be in full effect?

Lamar Jackson has been the best player in football this season and continues to dominate on the field for the Baltimore Ravens. Jackson is the frontrunner for the NFL MVP trophy and fans are excited to see him in the playoffs. The Ravens will be taking on the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Divisional Round this weekend and fans are expecting a big win.

Today, Jackson celebrated his birthday and the well wishes began pouring in. Even Drake joined in on the festivities as he took to his IG story with a personalized birthday wish for the Ravens QB.

Drake has been known to support a wide variety of athletes although the results aren't always fruitful. The Drake Curse has been known to claim the lives of various sports teams and athletes. Whenever Drake wears a new piece of sports merch, the team he's supporting immediately fails. Of course, this has Ravens fans a tad bit concerned as they took to Twitter to warn Drake of his fandom.
