The PS Plus October 2024 games could be a pretty big month for the service if a likely addition ends up being added to coincide with a big update. After a solid Summer, this could be the start of a really exciting end-of-year season for PS Plus.

Below, you can read up on when the PS Plus announcement for the month will happen, what we know so far, and our predictions for the month’s games – one of which will likely happen.

PS Plus October 2024 games

The PS Plus October 2024 games will be announced for the Essential tier on September 25, 2024, and made available on October 1, 2024. The Extra and Premium games will be revealed on October 9, 2024, and available from October 15, 2024.

While we don’t have any confirmed games yet, here are our predictions for the Essential games.

Concord – PS5

It’s safe to say Concord hasn’t got off to a good start. A low playerbase, lack of interest, and middling reviews have meant this PvP shooter has strugged to get off the ground. Season 1 will be launching in October and we wouldn’t be surprised if the game also comes to PS Plus at the same time.

Hopefully this will see the game get a good player boost to keep the online modes going for a while.

The Lord of the Rings: Return To Moira – PS5

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria follows the Dwarves as they embark on a new adventure to reclaim their legendary home of Moria beneath the Misty Mountains. Players will join forces to survive, craft, build, and explore the iconic, sprawling mines. Courageous expeditioners will need to be vigilant as mysterious dangers await.

Summoned to the Misty Mountains by Lord Gimli Lockbearer, players take control of a company of Dwarves tasked to reclaim the lost spoils from the Dwarven homeland of Moria – known as Khazad-dûm or Dwarrowdelf – in the depths below their very feet. Their quest will require fortitude, delving deep into the Mines of Moria to recover its treasures.

New Tales from the Borderlands – PS5, PS4

Take a stand against ruthless corporate overlords in this narrative-driven adventure! Within the perpetually war-torn metropolis of Promethea, you’ll control Anu, Octavio, and Fran on the worst day of their lives. Help these three lovable losers as they endeavour to change the world (and maybe even save it)! Face down a planetary invasion, vicious vault monster, and cold-hearted capitalist in this cinematic thrill ride where what happens next is up to you!

Meet a motley cast full of misfits, assassin bots, and talking guns in this race to the top! It’s time to fight back against exploitation and corporate greed. It’s time to make Mayhem your business.
