Beyoncé is a pretty private person most of the time, often keeping to herself until it's time to drop a bomb on all of us and stop the world. Part of this mysterious and enigmatic existence is Beyoncé's tendency not to throw likes around on social media, often reserving her Internet activity for her own, often captionless posts and tossing the occasional thumbs up to a deserving user. That's why this recent move of hers shocked fans so much, they started coming up with possible explanations for it since it was so out of character.
The post above may seem like your average Kylie Jenner IG photo, but at one point, it possessed a like for Queen Bey herself. Considering Beyoncé doesn't follow Kylie (or anyone, for that matter) and isn't all that tight with the Kardashian-Jenner clan these days, liking Kylie's photo seemed strange, especially a pretty average post like this. The keen eye of the Internet took note of the shocking like, and Beyoncé (or, let's be honest, whoever runs her account) quickly removed it. However, the deed had been done, and the Internet was shook.
Theories began circulating on how exactly that like from Beyoncé's account ended up on Kylie's photo.
Some even thought Blue Ivy or the twins had been messing around on their mama's phone.
Whatever the explanation, the like has disappeared forever, and it's highly unlikely we'll ever get an explanation from Bey.
Beyoncé Shares First-Look At Ivy Park x Adidas Collection In IG Video
Are you excited about this collection?
The rollout has officially begun now that Beyoncé has announced the release date for her Ivy Park x Adidas collection. The superstar singer took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to share two pictures promoting the line, along with a video to add to the hype. “These barriers are not gonna stop me,” a woman says in the clip. The visual is filled with sneak peeks at what fans can expect from the coveted collection including sneakers, modified tracksuits, and face masks.
Beyoncé and her bevy of models are shown throughout, and it’s expected that the collection will sell out as soon as it’s available on January 18. Ivy Park’s Adidas partnership was announced in April 2019, so fans have been awaiting this collection for quite some time. The music mogul spoke with Elle about her forthcoming line back in December 2019.
“This new line is fun and lends itself to creativity, the ultimate power. I focused on designing a unisex collection of footwear and apparel because I saw so many men in Ivy Park,” she said. “The way they have embraced the brand is an unexpected gift. I appreciate the beauty of gender-neutral clothing and breaking the so-called fashion rules. I took a chance on myself when I bought my company back. We all have the confidence in us to take chances and bet on ourselves.” Check it out below.
Beyonce x Adidas UltraBoost Collab Coming Soon: New Details
Beyonce's Ivy Park collection scheduled to drop January 18.
Adidas and Beyonce officially announced their multi-layered partnership in April of last year, and the collaborative Ivy Park collection is finally set to release later this month.
The full range of sneakers and apparel have not yet been unveiled but rumors suggest that there are at least four different sneakers in the works, including two Adidas Nite Joggers, one Adidas UltraBoost and the Adidas Samba that Beyonce teased last month.
According to Sneaker News, the Ivy Park x Adidas UltraBoost and one of the Nite Joggers will feature a "Maroon/Maroon/Solar Orange" build. The color scheme of the other Nite Jogger is reportedly listed as "Ecru Tint/Grey/Solar Orange."
All of the sneakers are scheduled to debut on January 18, along with the rest of the Ivy Park apparel collection. With the release date just 10 days it shouldn't be long now before the official details are revealed. Stay tuned for updates.
Tiffany Haddish Proves Beyoncé’s Mom Gives The Best Bat Mitzvah Gifts
Uh, we're not too sure Ms. Tina knows exactly how this Jewish thing works.
After recently finding out that her dad is an Eritrean Jew, famed comedienne Tiffany Haddish took the liberty to completely embrace the religion of her patriarch as any newfound Jew would: have a Bat Mitzvah! She went a step further though and had herself a "Black Mitzvah," which she was more than happy to break down during her most recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday night (Jan 6).
View this post on InstagramWhile the entire night looked pretty lit to say the least by the looks of her Instagram post on the night of (seen above), there was one special moment that stood out for her, and of course it involves none other than Beyoncé — well, more like Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, but still. While speaking with Kimmel on the subject of gift-giving, Tiffany said, "Beyoncé’s mom gave me the most beautiful Bible. Ms. Tina gave me the most beautiful Bible with this cross on it and everything, and I was like, is she trying to say, ‘Hey! You know you black, right?’"
Of course, many of you might be wondering how a person who birthed the biggest pop star in the world at the moment could be so off in terms of the religions, but the Bible did come with a diamond-clad crucifix so we guess it just balances out overall. Tiffany did make light of the gift from Ms. Tina, joking stating, "I read from that and the Torah everyday. I read from both. They start out the same." If it works for you, it works for us, too!

Kate McKinnon Explains How She "Blew It" When Sitting Next To Beyonce At Golden Globes
She did fine.
Kate McKinnon was of course present at this past weekend’s Golden Globe Awards. The Ghostbusters actress attended the event with her sister, Emily Lynne Berthold, and the siblings were lucky enough to be seated at the same table as Beyonce and Jay-Z. The 36-year-old actress paid a visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show and explained how she messed up such a lovely situation.
Frazer Harrison/Getty Images“I mean the table that we were at — well you’re there and you are to me, everything,” Kate explained. “And then Portia [de Rossi], everything. And then we had Carol Burnett, you know, American legend. And then there was also Beyoncé and JAY-Z at the table, which, I mean, they’re the king and queen of America, they were unbelievably gracious.” Kate said she and her sister tried to plan topics to talk about but in the end, she “blew it.”
“So my sister went right over and had balls of steel and Beyoncé was so nice and I was just such a, I just pretended I had something on my pants,” she said. “So I blew it. I blew it.” We think it’s safe to say the situation wasn’t as bad as Kate thinks it is.
Beyoncé Catches Flack For Not Standing When Joaquin Phoenix Won His Golden Globe
Not impressed or obstructive dress?
Beyoncé arrived fashionably late to the 2020 Golden Globes last night, alongside her husband, Jay-Z. They skipped out on the red carpet and walked in once the ceremony had already begun. Their bodyguard escorted them to their seats as he held two bottles of Ace of Spades champagne so they wouldn't have to drink the Moët & Chandon being poured at the event. They were seen mingling with the other celebs at their table, but many people on Twitter believe that Bey was indifferent toward the whole ordeal. She was there to pick up her gold statue if The Lion King's "Spirit" happened to win for Best Original Song (it didn't), and that was all.
The fact that she didn't stand up when Joaquin Phoenix won his award fueled this suspicion. When Phoenix won for Best Actor In a Drama Motion Picture for his role in Joker, the whole room rose, but Bey was seen comfortably seated. Some got a laugh from her head peaking out behind Phoenix when the camera showed him going to accept his trophy, but many others called her out for being disrespectful. One Twitter user claimed that her refusal to stand was "thoroughly distasteful." On the other hand, many came to Bey's defense and suggested that her dress may have made standing a difficult task for her. She wore a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown with enormous metallic gold puffy sleeves that some argued could have been distracting or obstructive if she stood.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z Arrived Late To Golden Globes, Brought Own Ace Of Spades Bottles
The event was sponsored by Moët.
While the Golden Globes may be a big night for Hollywood, Beyoncé and Jay-Z were not stressing about it. The couple arrived late to the ceremony in Beverly Hills on Sunday night. A photograph shows them waiting to be seated as Kate McKinnon presented Ellen DeGeneres with the Carol Burnett Award for Achievement in Television.
LA Times writer, Amy Kaufman, tweeted the photo and also pointed out that Jay and Bey's bodyguard was standing nearby, gripping two bottles of Ace of Spaces behind his back. For those confused why the power couple would be under the impression that the Golden Globes is a BYOB event, the reasoning behind them bringing Ace is that Jay is a part owner of the champagne company and the evening was sponsored by Moët & Chandon. Remember on 4:44's "Family Feud" when Jay said "I'll be damned if I drink some Belvedere while Puff got Ciroc?" Well, he brought that same energy to the Golden Globes. The couple probably walked in late for similar reasons. The Hollywood Foreign Press has been notorious for its racial bias, so The Carters' tardiness could be interpreted as a shot at the institution and an acknowledging of their own worth.
Beyoncé was nominated in the Best Original Song category for "Spirit" from The Lion King, but lost to "I'm Gonna Love Me Again" from Rocketman.
Blue Ivy’s Looks Mocked By "Vanity Fair" & "Harper’s" Writers, Apologies Issued
The two were criticized for their remarks and quickly responded.
She may only be seven-years-old, but Blue Ivy's appearance has been the subject of internet conversations since she was born. The daughter of billionaire, music mogul couple Jay Z and Beyoncé is an unproblematic kid with seemingly unproblematic parents, but for years critics have spoken candidly about her looks.
Theo Wargo / Staff / Getty ImagesYears ago, a woman from New York launched a silly Change.org petition for Beyoncé to take better care of Blue's hair after the young girl was seen rocking her natural locks. Then, Karrueche Tran read off a joke about Blue Ivy while she was visiting 106 & Park. Speaking as Blue Ivy Karrueche said, " "I really did wake up like this, because my parents never comb my hair." Following the remark, the producer of 106 & Park was suspended.
On Wednesday, photos began to circulate of Jay and Bey's New Year's Eve party. The black and white stills showed a growing Blue, and a Vanity Fair film critic by the name of K. Austin Collins tweeted about how much the little girl resembled her father. "I have a feeling the jay z face genes are about to really hit Blue Ivy and I feel so sorry for her," Collins wrote. Then, Harper's Magazine editor Violet Lucca replied to the tweet by writing, "Or she'll just get plastic surgery at 16 a la Kylie Jenner and we'll all have to pretend that she always looked that way...I can't allow myself to feel too sorry for the incredibly rich!"
It didn't take long for both tweets to make their way through social media causing both Collins and Lucca to issue apologies. "I’m sorry about the Blue Ivy tweet — bad joke, and black girls in particular deserve better," he wrote. Lucca penned, "Sorry I was cleaning my apartment while this blew up...children of famous ought to be off limits, but time and again they haven’t been. So I said something petty and have been called ugly, old, and a racist."
Lucca added that she wasn't looking for sympathy. "I’m not playing the victim," she said. "Sorry that I insulted Beyoncé’s daughter by suggesting that she might get plastic surgery some day, like many children of famous people do." Check out the tweets below.
Megan Thee Stallion Celebrates With Beyoncé & Blue Ivy On New Year’s Eve
I don’t know who to be more jealous of.
Megan Thee Stallion has had quite the year, full of major ups and tragic downs. Though she sadly lost both her mother and grandmother in 2019, Meg has also achieved major success in her career, and from the looks of it, she celebrated all of her accomplishments this year with the best company by her side. Megan shared a post on Instagram on New Year’s Day featuring two black-and-white photos of herself joined by the goddesses themselves, Queen Bey and Mini Bey.
Beyoncé and Blue Ivy posed alongside the Hot Girl herself in the photo booth on NYE. Bey donned a festive paper hat, while Blue flashes a smile looking all grown up. Meg beams in both photos, throwing up a “rock on” sign in the first shot. The emoji in the caption references this hand gesture, as Meg tags Bey and wishes her a Happy 2020. The moment was likely a big deal for Meg, as she recently revealed that she watches video of her fellow Houston Hottie when she’s feeling down about herself to boost her confidence and self-esteem. “If Beyoncé can get through it, I can get through it,” she shared. Meg has also revealed that Beyoncé is definitely her dream collaborator. Hopefully they discussed this possibility during their New Year’s celebrations, and that a collab is on the horizon!
Beyoncé Shares "2019 Bey-Cap" IG Video Highlighting Public & Private Moments
The twins are so cute!
The Beyhive almost had a heart attack when just 10 minutes before the east coast rang in the new year, Beyoncé uploaded a blank, black screen to her Instagram page. It took less than thirty seconds for theorists to begin speculating as to what the Lemonade singer had in store. She's become known for her surprise album drops that break the internet, but this time around, it looks as if Bey just wanted to celebrate the new year with a video featuring the highlights of her decade.
Beyoncé, Jay Z, Childish Gambino, and Oumou Sangaré's "Mood 4 Eva" played as the soundtrack to the blinking photos from the last 10 years of Bey's life. There were images of the singer and her rapper husband at a slew of events including Roc Nation brunches, sitting courtside at basketball games, Blue Ivy's birthday, Tyler Perry's Studio opening, Valentine's Day, the Brit Awards, Oscar's afterparties, the GLAAD Awards, Diana Ross's birthday event, NAACP Awards, and appearing on red carpets...just to name a few.
Her acclaimed Coachella performance along with its accompanying Homecoming documentary was littered throughout, but a major highlight of the fast-moving clip is being able to see a tad more behind-the-scenes footage of the Knowles-Carters' family life. Check it out below.
