The onset of self-isolation has brought out some of the best in celebrities, such as Rihanna's $5 million donation to coronavirus relief efforts, and some of the worst in celebrities, such as the highly criticized, tone-deaf "Imagine" cover posted by Gal Gadot. Comedian Zack Fox has now released a celebrity-filled parody of the celebrity-filled cover, as noted by HipHopDX.
View this post on InstagramThe original cover features Gal Gadot, Zöe Kravitz, Will Farrell, Kristin Wiig, Sarah Silverman, Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Maya Rudolph and Mark Ruffalo and more singing parts of John Lennon's "Imagine" to form a whole song. The video was immediately met with backlash from social media and subsequently went viral.
While the economy withers to the ground, unemployment rises to new levels, and thousands die, we've been gifted a cute video of celebrities singing along in the comfort of their million-dollar homes to save us.
Zack Fox posted a video on Instagram, Friday, saying "There’s a song from my childhood that would always help me out when I would feel that way, and I wanna share it with y’all, and hopefully just help out a little bit. It goes a little something like this.” Fox then precedes to comedically sing Three 6 Mafia’s classic “Slob On My Nob.” Eric Andre, Thundercat, Quinta Brunson, Guapdad 4000, Cool Kids’ Chuck Inglish, Langston Kerman, Jak Knight, Sam Jay, 6lack, Teddy Ray and TisaKorean all join in.

Eric Andre & Tiffany Haddish Star In "Bad Trip" Trailer
Eric Andre, Tiffany Haddish, and Lil Rel Howery star in the trailer for the “Jackass”-esque hidden-camera prank film, “Bad Trip.”
Eric Andre, Tiffany Haddish, and Get Out star Lil Rel Howery can be seen practically giving people heart attacks across the nation in the trailer for the prank movie, Bad Trip. In the hidden-camera narrative film, the first to hit theaters since the Jackass franchise’s Bad Grandpa in 2013, Andre and Howery hit the road to embark on an action-filled adventure, duping their unknowing audience into believing that their staged pranks are for real. Haddish poses as Lil Rel’s sister, who pretends to break out of prison and track down her “brother” and his friend after they stole her car. Many of the staged mishaps are rather violent, such as Andre sticking his hand in a blender and spraying [fake] blood over the walls at a smoothie joint.

The film is stacked with experts in the field of practical jokery. Not only is Jackass: The Movie director, Jeff Tremaine, on board as a producer, but Andre himself is essentially fluent in pulling weird sh*t in front of an audience due to his years on his late-night, low budget talk show parody series, The Eric Andre Show. Despite the expertise behind the premise of the film, Howery revealed that he was pretty close to quitting the project after the first day of shooting. “Those are real reactions from people and you don’t know how they’re going to react to things,” he told Collider. “It’s fun and it’s also frightening.” Bad Trip is set to be released in theaters on April 17th. It was initially supposed to have its premiere at SXSW this year, but was forced to move its release date up a week in light of the festival’s cancellation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The high-energy comedian discussed Tiffany Haddish’s participation in the upcoming film before making an impromptu coronavirus joke, stating:
“I’m actually Patient Zero. I gave the coronavirus to the entire country. And Zika and H1N1. Let’s not forget about all the great diseases!”
The Lion King voice actor also revealed that during the filming of the movie a knife was pulled on him and Lil Rel Howery. At about the 2:55 second mark, Andre details how an Atlanta barber brandished a knife on him and the Chicago-bred comedian after they entered his barbershop attached at the genitals a Chinese finger trap. Fortunately, both parties were able to escape the scene without being harmed.
At the seven-minute mark, Kimmel debuted the prank segment featuring Eric Andre dressed as Beyoncé, where he provided himself with the moniker “BeAndre.” The sequence entitled Beyoncé or BeAndré? featured multiple fans of the Grammy Award-winning songstress delivering heartfelt messages to her in a backstage production room. What they didn’t know was that they were going to be surprised by a disguised Eric Andre who concealed his identity only using his hands, dressed in a gown and lace front wig.
Eric’s prank was able to bring some of the unsuspecting fans to tears as they thought they were really meeting their idol. Unfortunately, while they were ultimately disappointed that he wasn’t Beyoncé, Andre provided the fans with some must-watch entertainment, smashing a vase to smithereens and dropping a box of “bees.”
