Lil Uzi Vert Says New Album Will Feel Like His Old Music: "I’m Back On My Sh*t"
Lil Uzi Vert promises to bring the same energy from his older stuff to his new album.
Lil Uzi Vert may have just dropped two new albums earlier this year, but he's already prepping to release a third, and according to the rapper himself, it's going to feel like the mid-2010s again. Earlier this week, Uzi teased on Twitter that he's got a new album coming soon, just two months after dropping Eternal Atake as well as the deluxe version, LUV Vs. The World 2. A few days after making the exciting announcement, the ever-active tweeter also revealed that DJ Plugg, one of the producers from Uzi's 2015 breakout mixtape, Luv Is Rage, will be working on his untitled upcoming project. Now, Uzi is offering up some more details about his new album, including the type of "energy" we can expect from it.

Uzi reassured them that his new music would, in fact, be reminiscent of his early stuff, replying, "Yes I had 2 get my feet wet again if you here my new features I’m back on my shit."
Prior to this exchange, Uzi also interacted with a different fan who asked him, "how excited are you about your new album?" Uzi indicated that "I’m very thankful right now so I’m Excited..."

Sauce Walka Snaps After Young Thug Praises Maxo Kream
Sauce Walka goes off on Young Thug, again.
Young Thug‘s found himself engulfed in a few feuds over the past few months. His ongoing feud with French Montana picked up again last night after French commented on Thug and Chris Brown‘s B & Slime first week sales. But in the midst of all of that, Thugger and Sauce Walka’s feud was reignited.
This appears to stem from the recent squabble between Maxo Kream and Sauce Walka’s affiliate Rizzo Rizzo. Though both Maxo and Rizzo showed love to each other afterward for fighting with their hands instead of trying to shoot it out, Thugger chimed in with a slick remark. “The people’s champ don’t @ me,” Thug captioned the photo seemingly referencing the fight between Maxo and Rizzo.
In a recent series of videos posted to Instagram, Sauce Walka did not hold his tongue surrounding Thugger’s recent comments that he clearly made to gain a reaction. And that he did.
“I will beat up you and your security guard, Young Thug, you gatdamn bitch,” Sauce Walka said. Walka then alleged that Thug refused to square up backstage at Astroworld Festival but instead, had Trae The Truth mitigate the situation.
“Do I get in y’all business? No, I do not. Do I talk about how you mothafuckin’ scared of gatdamn YFN Lucci?… No I don’t,” Sauce Walka continued. “Do I get on the Internet and say Gunna is a god damn… snitch on the highest degree [on Crimestoppers]?… No I don’t. You a hoe. Duke a hoe. Gunna a hoe. Y’all are hoes! Y’all street representation is terrible.”

Summer Walker Announces New EP Is Coming Soon
Summer Walker prepares to release new heat for the summer.
R&B had such a major year in 2019 and one of the biggest stars to emerge was Summer Walker. Her album Over It was easily one of the best projects to drop last year out of any genre but unfortunately, she’s continuously threatened to never release music again. Despite that, she’s released covers and short snippets over the months with hints that a new project is along the way.

In late April, Summer teased a snippet of some new music on her Finsta story. Following that, she said that was the last bit of unreleased music she’ll be sharing until she drops a new EP. She didn’t explain when the project might come but it appears to be coming soon. Taking to IG, she shared a series of photos with the caption, “EP coming soon babies ft. @no1 no1.”
Along with snippets of new music that she’s previewed over the months, she’s also shared live covers of records like Drake‘s “Summer’s Over Interlude” as well as Don Toliver‘s “No Idea.”
The singer did reveal that she’s quitting music after 2020, though it’s unclear if she’s sticking to those plans. But, we are excited for whatever she has in store for the remainder of the year. Keep your eyes peeled for more news surrounding Summer Walker’s upcoming EP. Check out the post below.

21 Savage Reveals Why "Savage Mode 2" Is Taking So Long
21 Savage explains why his and Metro Boomin’s sequel to “Savage Mode” is taking so long.
At a time when everyone is being kept inside, 21 Savage and Metro Boomin have been laboring away at their highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s Savage Mode. Both parties have teased its release in the past few weeks specifically, though there hasn’t been an exact update of sorts on when we could expect the project to arrive.
Roy Rochlin/Getty Images
In a recent Instagram Live, 21 Savage revealed that the project was on the way but the reason that it’s delayed is that he’s perfecting it and tuning it to his liking. “Savage Mode 2 on the way, man. You know, I gotta perfect my shit. Shit takes time. I be putting a lot of hard work into my shit. I ain’t just about to drop anything,” he explained. “My shit gotta be hard so it’s gonna take me a little longer, you know what I’m sayin’?”
Despite the fans demand for the project, 21 Savage did make it clear that he’s only humans with as many hours as everyone else and that on top of music, there are other things that are on his plate, as well.
Shortly after the Live, Metro Boomin’ ultimately fielded a question regarding 21 Savage’s presence on Twitter. “He been working hard,” Metro Boomin said.
Keep your eyes and ears peeled for more music from 21 Savage and Metro Boomin. Check the clip below.
6ix9ine Accuses Billboard Of "Manipulating The Charts"
Tekashi 6ix9ine called out Billboard for seemingly manipulating the charts in favour of Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber going No. 1 instead of him.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was in disbelief after Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber's "Stuck With U" jumped ahead of his song, "Gooba," in a forecast of next week's Hot 100 chart, so he decided to send a public message to Billboard. “Imma make this real quick, ‘cause I’ll be real disappointed if Billboard gets paid for No. 1s [and] somehow manipulate the charts," he declared in an Instagram video. “I want the whole world to see this, because what I’m about to show you is a forecast of what every label in the world gets: Atlantic, Interscope, Republic, Columbia, Sony, Universal Music, every label gets this."
View this post on Instagram@billboard explain this to the millions of artist who never got #1 because you guys play favorites.
He proceeds to show said forecast that his label received on Thursday (May 15th), which shows Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj remaining at No. 1 with “Say So (Remix),” while “GOOBA” sits at No. 2. Below them are The Weeknd’s "Blinding Lights" (No. 3), Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé’s “Savage (Remix)” (No. 4), and Ari and Justin at No. 5. However, he indicates that “Stuck With U” submitted 60,000 units "out of nowhere” at the “last second” on Thursday night, which he claims is “completely illegal.” Now, a new forecast reads that “Stuck With U” has reached No. 1, “GOOBA” remains at No. 2, and “Say So (Remix)” is now at No. 3.

“They went from being fifth place to first place out of nowhere,” he says about Ari and Justin. The kicker for him, though, is that Billboard was promoting a signed CD bundle for Ari and Justin, which he believes helped to "manipulate the charts" and get "Stuck With U" to No. 1.
He points out that, considering “GOOBA” has garnered "200 million streams," which he claims is "double the streams" than any other song on the charts right now, he should be dominating by “a landslide." He also claims that Doja Cat’s label sent an audit to Billboard because they, too, are suspicious about the sudden chart position of her song after it dropped to No. 3.
“Literally, you’re manipulating the charts now," he concludes. "How can an artist that works hard get No. 1?" Prior to this rant, 6ix9ine previously sent out a similar warning to Billboard not to mess with the numbers. "The world is watching very closely," he wrote on a since-deleted Instagram post. "I will hate to believe that people pay for their spins on the radio and making manipulating bundles to manipulate the chart."
Charlamagne Reveals What He Thinks Will Happen To 6ix9ine
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been laying the antics on thick since coming out of jail.
Tekashi 6ix9ine is one of the most polarizing people in the music industry and a lot of it has to do with the fact that he is constantly getting into feuds with people, for seemingly no reason. He recently got released from jail after snitching on all of his associates and while many thought his career would be over, 6ix9ine has proven people wrong with a new song and all of the headlines in the world. In fact, 6ix9ine is even beefing with the likes of Snoop Dogg.
During a recent episode of “The Brilliant Idiots” with Andrew Schulz and Charlamagne Tha God, Charlamagne offered his perspective on the 6ix9ine drama and how it isn’t going to work out for anyone. Charlamagne even said that he won’t pay attention to 6ix9ine and that the artist will either end up dead or in jail.
“My prediction is the same predication as it was two years ago and I was right. You end up in jail or dead. And if you already went to jail and didn’t learn from that, what is next? Y’all think that’s funny, but I’m 41. That sh*t ain’t funny to me. I don’t like seeing self-destruction,” Charlamagne said.
Many others feel the same way as the Breakfast Club host although it truly remains to be seen what will happen to the rainbow-haired warrior. Only time will tell what’s in store.
French Montana Announces "Coke Boys 5" & Chinx Drugz Posthumous Project
French Montana has some new heat coming, and he says we can expect “Coke Boys 5” in a few weeks and Chinx Drugz’s posthumous project soon.
Aside from kicking up dust with Young Thug, French Montana recently spoke with Nick Cannon about new music. The Florida-based rapper has been stirring the pot with the YSL Records boss and even got into a brief back and forth with the Atlanta rapper earlier today (May 15). French took some time away from his trolling to speak with Cannon about the music plans he has lined up, including another Coke Boys project and a posthumous album from Chinx Drugz.
Maury Phillips / Stringer / Getty ImagesFrench Montana told Cannon that fans can look forward to his “That’s a Fact” remix along with Coke Boys 5. “Me and Durk, you know we got Lil Wayne on there,” he revealed. “A bunch of people on there man, so I’m looking forward to that. Max B. Chinx Drugz. I just finished up Chinx Drugz’s album. That’s a beautiful thing for me.”
Back in 2015, Chinx lost his life in a drive-by shooting. He was found riddled with bullets while sitting inside of a car in Queens, New York. He was only 31-years-old. Two men suspected of committing the crime have reportedly been taken into custody. “When people hear it, they’re gonna see how talented my boy was,” French said. “It’s sad for brothers like, like Pop Smoke…they casket closed when they door opened and it’s a sad situation.” Watch French Montana chop it up with Nick Cannon below.
6ix9ine Calls Out Snoop Dogg, Accuses Rap Icon Of Being A Snitch
Tekashi 6ix9ine is ready to expose the rap industry, and he claims that Snoop Dogg is a snitch.
Things are about to take a turn. Tekashi 6ix9ine has made a splash of a return to the music scene ever since he released his first post-prison single, “GOOBA.” If the public thought that the rainbow-haired entertainer was going to slink back into the rap game quietly, they were highly mistaken. Tekashi 6ix9ine and his vivacious personality have come out of the gate full swinging, and not everyone has been welcoming him with open arms. Rap legend Snoop Dogg has made it clear that he disapproves of 6ix9ine’s recent successes, continuously pointing out that “GOOBA” rapper is a federal informant who is a turncoat against his former gangster associates. 6ix9ine bit back today (May 15), accusing Snoop of sharing information with authorities, as well.
Over on his Instagram Story, 6ix9ine posed a question to his followers. “Should I just tell you guys what rappers snitched,” he wrote above the clickable options of “Yes” or “No.” He added, “Because they told me EVERYTHING When I Started.” The Shade Room took a screenshot of the message, and 6ix9ine returned to comment, “@snoopdogg hey sir let’s chat.”
That wasn’t all, he slipped in the outlet’s comment section once again and wrote, “If your in denial the paper work is online and suge knight speaks on it from prison but we choose to ignore who we want to call rats.” Snoop Dogg has yet to respond, but the former Death Row icon will certainly feel a certain type of way about this. Check it out below.
