A lot of people may argue that Bad Boys II is better than the first film in the franchise. One of the leading stars Will Smith recently detailed how director Michael Bay purposely wanted the first movie to be more serious and directed him to "just stand there and be hard" as opposed to making comedic faces to Martin Lawrence's character's reactions.

The second film has a lot more jokes and clever punchlines and a lot of people were today-years-old when they found out that the Superbad actor Seth Rogen had something to do with that. The revelation was made on Twitter when one user made it clear that he thinks the second movie is way better, prompting Seth to reply: "I helped rewrite bad boys 2."
He added in another tweet: "Judd was rewriting it and me and Evan were broke so he gave us a bit of money to help. I don’t remember much but we all definitely wrote the joke where they don’t know the words to the song, and where Martin shoots the machine gun in the car by accident. And probably many more..."
So there you have it, Seth contributed to your laughs in the second film. Only time will tell how funny the third film is.
Pete Davidson Reportedly "Getting Some Help" Post Kaia Gerber Break-Up
Pete’s MIA right now.
Pete Davidson and Kaia Gerber had a short fling that lasted only a few weeks before things ended in what we would assume was an amicable way. Before the new year, we posted how Pete joked on Saturday Night Live that he was seeking some help around the same time things ended with the 18-year-old model. “I’m going on ‘vacation’ but insurance pays for some of it, and they take your phone and shoelaces, and it costs $100,000 but I still have roommates,” he said on air.

A source close to the situation now tells Page Six that the ‘vacation’ reports are true and Pete’s relationship ended as he has a tendency to get “very intense.”
“It looks like Pete and Kaia are over. It got very overwhelming for Kaia. Pete has a certain M.O. and he’s very intense to his girlfriends. Kaia is only 18 and it’s a lot to deal with,” the source detailed, adding, “I think it’s safe to say that Pete has been getting some help.” After Pete ended his engagement with Ariana Grande, he went on to date Margaret Qualley and Kate Beckinsale before his fling with Kaia. We can only hope Pete’s vacation gives him everything he’s looking for.
Deelishis & Raymond Santana Thank Kandi Burruss For Introducing Love Connection
You never know who might introduce you to your soulmate.
Wedding planning is in the works for former Flavor of Love reality star Chandra “Deelishis” Davis and Central Park Five survivor Raymond Santana. When the two began sharing selfies on social media, people were perplexed as to how the couple came together. They may have seemed like an unlikely matching to the masses, but they were happily in love, unconcerned with naysayers.
In early December 2019, Santana decided to make things official and dropped to one knee to propose to his love. The moment Santana slipped the massive ring on his future wife’s finger was captured by friends and shared online. Now, the social justice leader returns to his Instagram page to publicly thank Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kandi Burruss for first bringing him and his fiancé together.

Mary J. Blige Wants "No More Drama" With Ex-Landlord Who Says She Didn’t Pay Her Back Rent
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul refutes claims that she trashed her former throne and owes thousands in delinquent rent payments.
Mary J. Blige has been deemed a diva for the better part of her almost 30-year career, but the word was used more as a term of endearment as opposed to a “self-important person who is temperamental and difficult to please.” However, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul’s ex-landlord is saying that she’s definitely the latter based off the way she allegedly trashed her former rental mansion and refused to pay back over $60,000 in rent on a west Coast mansion.
Bossip is exclusively reporting that MJB is fighting those claims, claiming that her ex-landlord Golden Venus can’t legally come after her for the back rent case because they came to an agreement to cancel the rent contract altogether and ink a new deal. Also, Mary claims in court papers filed last week that she even paid Golden Venus a lump sum after leaving the Beverly Hills mansion, even though the settlement sum was less than the amount she actually owed.
Based off the original report from Bossip, the landlord sued both Blige and her ex-husband, Kendu Isaacs, for breach of contract under the name “Golden Venus LLC” back in September 2018. She claims they “reneged” on an agreement to pay the rent then went on to not only damaging the property but also leave with A/V equipment they had no rights to take. The damages added up to $16,000, and unfortunately for Venus the case went into legal limbo for over a year after finding it difficult to serve either Blige or Isaacs with the lawsuit papers.
Blige went on to claim that, if forced to pay the amount listed in the lawsuit, Venus would be “unjustly enriched.” A default judgment hearing was actually scheduled for yesterday (Jan. 14), but after Mary filed her court papers the judge canceled it. No more drama, indeed!
Read the full report over on Bossip, and let us know if you think the Queen should pay up or stick to her guns.
Boosie Badazz Talks Colorism: Darker Skin Causes "Fear," Lighter Skin Seen As "Weaker"
The rapper also shared that he wants his reparations.
Colorism was a heavy topic of discussion for Boosie Badazz and VladTV in the 27th part of their lengthy interview. They’ve discussed an array of topics ranging from the rapper’s infatuation with Rihanna to Kodak Black’s prison sentence, and in his latest clip, the Louisiana rapper was asked if he was bothered that “darker-skinned people are treated worse than lighter-skinned people.”

Although he agreed with Vlad, he said it’s not something bothers him because being from Louisiana, he’s been around racism all of his life. “I think the blacker the skin, the more fear we bring to people,” the rapper shared. “I really do feel that. That’s just apart of life.” Boosie said that black people, too, are guilty of colorism, “but it’s just how the world shaped itself.”
“The lighter the skin, sometimes people do look at you weaker,” he added. “That’s why a lot of light-skinned dudes be proving theyself because it’s different—it ain’t that much different, it’s kinda different. ‘Cause these days, everybody look the same. Everybody hair look the same. If you black these days most people, we really lookin’ black because we bring treated like that anyway.”
Vlad had a moment where he expressed his hope that what people use to divide will no longer be a practice that we follow in the future, but Boosie interrupted by saying he wanted his “reservations.” He was corrected because he meant “reparations” and he added, “I want my motherf*ckin’ reparations! I got some black ass people in my family!” Check out the conclusion to Boosie’s conversation with VladTV below.

Some of those names included The Doobie Brothers, Nine Inch Nails, the late Whitney Houston, and more. However, this year’s inductee list includes the name of a well-respected, legendary emcee within the culture, none other than the only Christopher we acknowledge, the Notorious B.I.G.

In an Instagram video that started off with a scream and Biggie’s “Juicy” playing in the background, the Bad Boy CEO excitedly says, “Whew! Ayo, I wanna share this special moment, special announcement with y’all. Biggie, you did it! You did it, motherf**ker! Yeah! The Notorious BIG is going to be inducted into the rock and roll motherf**king Hall of Fame. What the f**k! What the f**k! Love! We miss you, king. New York stand up! Brooklyn, yeah!”

While speaking with the publication, Wallace expressed her gratitude stating, “Today, I’m feeling great… As a mother, I’m extremely proud of his accomplishments. You know, I still see such a young man at a young age, and sadly, he’s not here to witness all this. But it’s an astute honor, and as a mother, I’m just elated for that.”
Ms. Wallace continued, “Many of (his songs) speak truth. It might be gritty, and maybe the language is so out there, but he was honest. There was nothing fake about what he was doing. I think for such a young man to resonate such honesty in his lyrics is awesome.”
She closed out the conversation saying, “This legacy was trusted to me, and I have to respect it. I couldn’t walk away from his legacy, so I have to care for it, I have to love it, and I have to respect it.”

Eddie Murphy Was Stealing Hubcaps & Close To Getting Fired His 1st Year With "SNL"
The comedian recounts so funny moments with the series who gave him his first real chance.
Ratings went through the roof when Eddie Murphy made his triumphant return to Saturday Night Live after 30 years away from the show. The series helped shape the comedian’s career into what it is today, and when he made his way back to the stage, Murphy revived some of his beloved SNL characters that have gone down in television history.

He also sat down with the producers for Stories From the Show: An SNL Series where he chatted one-on-one about his hilarious history with the long-running program. Murphy admitted that for the first year he was on SNL, he was still living at home. After his first appearance, he was so excited that he didn’t even take his makeup off while riding public transportation back to his house. He thought that everyone would recognize him. “No one knew,” he said with a smile. “I probably looked like a very strange young fellow.”
Murphy said that everyone wanted to be on SNL and during his audition, he was told to make the talent coordinator laugh. “I did Muhammad Ali and I did Bill Cosby,” but Murphy failed to bring in even a chuckle. “A couple weeks later, they called me.” Both his Ali and Cosby impressions would make it to the small screen.
Although he took flack for being a new face within the cast, Eddie said he was just a 19-year-old happy to be on TV. “I would still steal,” he admitted, sharing a story of how someone stole his hubcaps off of his car, so he just stole someone else’s hubcaps to replace them. As popular as the show was, critics still weren’t feeling the new members, so the show’s head writer at the time fired everyone except for Murphy and one other person. The only reason the comedian was able to keep his job was that the head writer thought Murphy ate real dog food on the show. Murphy’s not that crazy; it was only hash.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson’s Father, Rocky Johnson, Passes Away At 75
Rest in Power, Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson.
Earlier on Wednesday, Jan. 15, it was revealed that WWE Hall of Fame wrestler and father of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson, had passed away at the age of 75-years-old. According to TMZ, the cause of death for the famed athlete, born Wayde Douglas Bowles, has yet to be announced.
Bowles began his professional wrestling career in the mid-1960s as a member of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Despite the difficulties of being an African-American wrestler throughout the South in the ’60s and ’70s, he was able to earn the NWA Georgia Champion and the NWA Southern Heavyweight Memphis Championship belts for his performances.
In 1982, Rocky “Soul Man” Johnson joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) where and his tag-team partner, Tony Atlas, became the promotion’s first Black-American Tag Team Champions known as The Soul Patrol. In 1991, the Soul Man officially retired from in-ring action and took on a significant role training his son, Dwayne, for a pro-wrestling career.
With his son following in his footsteps and becoming one of wrestling’s most electrifying personalities and a world-renowned blockbuster movie star, Bowles set the example for Dwayne Johnson to become who he is today. With Johnson juggling so many projects and preparing for more on-screen endeavors in the near future, this has to be a numbing hardship for the Jumanji frontman to experience at the pinnacle of his career.
With that said, stick with HNHH as details unfold in regards to the death of Rocky Johnson and check out a recent post about the Soul Man posted by none other than his biggest fan and son below.
Jhonni Blaze Regrets Drake Hook Up Rumors: "He Unblocked Me" After Apology
The singer laid it all out on the line.
She’s made her way through a few reality shows throughout the years and some say she left a path of destruction along the way. Whether she was fighting her Love & Hip Hop New York castmates or arguing with Ms. Deb on Growing Up Hip Hop, Jhonni Blaze is a talent who is known for her temper more than her music.
The singer has also been caught up in a few headlines, as well, associated with some of our favorite rappers. Jhonni recently chatted with Supa Cindy from 99 Jamz radio station to talk about her controversial history and the spiritual growth she’s experienced over the years. While there, Supa Cindy couldn’t help but ask Jhonni about the famous men she’s been linked to including Empire‘s Bryshere Gray (who is just her friend), Fetty Wap (who she worked on a few records with), Rich Dollaz (who she was “talk-dating” at one point), and then Drake, who blocked her after she spread rumors about him.
“Never dated Drake,” Jhonni flat out admitted. She said when she was in her early twenties, she was “all about being into the brag and if something doesn’t go my way, I wanna go off on somebody and post their number.” When she learned that Drake was “talking to” her friends, she decided to air him out on social media. Years ago, she even sat down with VladTV and said that she and the rapper had a “five-some” without protection, a declaration she would later apologize about.
“It was just really bad, I’ve apologized,” Jhonni said. “He unblocked me, that’s a good thing... Everything’s cool. I feel like one day we’ll bump into each other and it’ll be I [apologize], he’s heard me say [it] millions of times. We all grow up and build and become better people so that was just something that I wish I was this age now. It would have went totally different.” She added that Drake is a “phenomenal artist” who is “so dope.”

Rocko Ordered To Pay $10K In Lawsuit Over Botched House Flip: Report
Rocko’s takes an L by default after his neighbor sued him over a renovation gone wrong.
Rocko has been dealing with a lawsuit regarding a property he purchased but a judge has now ordered him to cough up $10K to his neighbor. According to Bossip, a judge in Georgia handed down a default judgment to Rocko for $10K after he failed to respond to his neighbor Minnie Lindsay’s suit.

Rocko copped a house and began doing renovations on the property but eventually, he ended up bailing on the job, according to Lindsay’s. The botched renovations resulted in $15K worth of damages to Minnie’s place and she ended up filing a lawsuit against Rocky in May 2019. She explained that the rapper bought the neighboring house in 2017 and began with the renovations before abandoning the entire project a month later.
Minnie claimed that her brick retaining wall was taken down without her discretion. Since then, the fence that was supported by the brick wall has caved in, she said in court papers. Lindsey’s lawyer claims Rocko hired a contractor to fix the wall but later scrapped rebuilding it. She suggested there’s a possibility that he ran out of money. The site is now entirely abandoned, Minnie’s attorney said.
The rapper is now owing $6,741 for the damage, $2,500 in attorney fees and $391 in court costs. Minnie’s attorney said that she had to track the rapper down in Birmingham during a club appearance to serve him papers.
