In two weeks, artists and musicians from various genres will come together at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for one of the most coveted award ceremonies in the entertainment industry. There are plenty of people, artists and non-artists alike, who believe that the pomp of events such as these is unnecessary and a dying breed, but winning a Grammy Award is still a feat that even accomplished creatives still hope to achieve.

Ja Rule Argues If Celebrities Left Social Media, Platforms Would Fail
Then he battled it out with trolls on Twitter.
No charges were filed against him and he was cleared of any wrongdoing, but Ja Rule can't seem to escape the Fyre Festival criticisms. While his former partner Billy McFarland sits behind bars, Ja has expressed interest in revamping the Fyre Festival; only this time, it would be a real concert with booked acts and edible food.

That isn't the only business move that the rapper has been working on, because on Tuesday he shared that he has an accounting company that helps people clean up their credit, build their credit, and complete their taxes. While this is something that he's reportedly had going on for years, Ja couldn't help but find himself the target of social media trolls.
In response, the rapper stated in a since-deleted tweet, "Social media is for clowns... if all the celebs left social media there would be no more social media!!!" Accomplished actress Jackée Harry replied, "If all celebs left social media who would promote fraudulent music festivals?" She wasn't the only one to poke fun at the rapper and soon Ja found himself going back and forth with the public.
"Everyone gets on social media to follow celebs to get a glimpse of the lives you so desperately want but will probably NEVER live... ?" he said, adding that "Black ppl would be so f*cking strong if we stuck together support one another sh*t sad..." Ja also stated that all of the heat is free promo while also mentioning that he's been hated on "since 03... I ain’t stop getting money yet lol I’m good!!!" Of course, he threw in a few clown gifs for good measure. Check out a few of his tweets below.
John Cena Looks Forward To Celebrating Valentine’s Day With Girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh
They’re still going strong.
Just days after John Cena’s ex Nikki Bella revealed that she and her boyfriend Artem Chigvintsev have been engaged since November, the WWE star has opened up about his relationship with his Canadian engineer girlfriend, Shay Shariatzadeh. The duo hit the red carpet this past weekend for the Dolittle premiere and wasn’t shy about packing on any PDA.

Chatting with Extra on the red carpet, the 42-year-old detailed how he’s looking forward to Valentine’s Day to simply enjoy time with someone he loves. “It’s just a reminder to care about who you care about. The takeaway from Valentine’s Day is to remind you to love what you love,” he said.
Previous to their weekend outing, John shed a little light on this companionship with Shay. “If I have a connection with someone, I believe we’re defined by our actions, and how you treat them is a reflection on how you will treat them in the future,” he said.
“I think when anyone was a connection with someone, and someone says like, ‘Hey, there’s something here, and by the way, I appreciate who you are, I appreciate who you want to be, I appreciate how you live your life.’ I don’t think that’s gender-specific. I think that’s something we all want to hear.”

Zaytoven Speaks On Gucci Mane’s "Tupac-Like" Work Ethic & Clone Rumors
It’s all about his growth.
Before he became one of the most celebrated producers to come out of the South, Zaytoven was a young man in barber college making beats out of his basement. He was just making music for the love of making music, but soon his talents would grab the attention of local artists including the likes of Gucci Mane.

Zaytoven sat down with People’s Party with Talib Kweli to chat about his history in the hip hop game and a major component of his rise was his collaborations with Gucci. He described Guwop’s work ethic as being “Tupac-like,” adding, “Me and him work alike.” Zaytoven said, “We create songs in twenty minutes. I’ll make the beat, five, ten minutes. He gon’ either freestyle or write the song. We on to the next. That’s how we do. That’s how I am today.”
Talib and Zaytoven also spoke about the conspiracy theory rumors that Gucci is some sort of clone because he’s changed so much since his prison release. “Underneath, Gucci’s always been the guy that he is right now,” Zaytoven said of the rapper’s growth. “He was super smart in school, very intelligent. He ain’t no dummy, by far. Super intelligent. I guess that time of him going away, he really sat down and thought about some things. And we gettin’ older! He really thought about it.” Zaytoven added that Gucci knew if he was going to go away for three or four years, he couldn’t return to the scene the same person he once was. “That don’t make sense.”
There are many gems in this interview, so check out Zaytoven’s chat with People’s Party below.

Run DMC & Aerosmith Will Perform Together At The Grammys
The legendary duo of Run-DMC and Aerosmith will reunite on the Grammy stage this year.
With the 2020 Grammy nominations revealed, Alicia Keys set to host the biggest night in music once again, and Prince set to be honored by the Recording Academy, it’s only right that more information about this year’s Grammys leak before the show takes place later this month. According to Variety magazine, Aerosmith and Run-DMC will reunite on stage to perform their greatest collaborative hits.
The legendary, Boston-bred rock collective was announced as a part of this year’s Grammy performers, but it was never revealed that they would be joined by the hip-hop pioneering group, Run-DMC. This revelation exposes the fact that the “Dream On” performers will be performing a full medley of their greatest hits for attendees and viewers to enjoy, reminisce, and reflect on.
Run DMC and Aerosmith were both featured headliners on their 2002 Girls of Summer Tour. Since then, it has been a rare occurrence for the genre-crossing groups to meet on stage. Allen Iverson’s Reebok Question Returns In Two Crispy Colorways
A look ahead at some upcoming Reebok Question releases.
Allen Iverson’s first Reebok signature sneaker, the Reebok Question, will be returning to retailers in the near future in a couple of pristine colorways. Both upcoming Reebok Question Mids are highlighted by their white, tumbled leather uppers – one featuring an icy blue outsole, and the other equipped with black and gold detailing.
These white-based designs are more in line with the original Reebok Questions that debuted in the late ’90s, rather than recent retros like the red “Heart Over Hype” colorway or the hairy, grey suede “Year of the Rat” joint. In addition to the plethora of Question Mids, Reebok also has plans to bring back the “Oatmeal” Question Low from 1999 (shown at the bottom of this post).
Specific release details for the upcoming run of Reebok Questions have not yet been announced, but the arrival of these official images leads us to believe that the kicks will be available on Reebok.com any day now. Continue scrolling for the official photos.

Snoop Dogg Gets His Own Dunkin Donuts Sandwich With Fitting Name
Snoop Dogg has done it all.
Is there honestly anything Snoop Dogg can’t do? The man has simply done it all, whether it be co-starring with Matthew McConaughey in Harmony Korrine’s The Beach Bum or chopping it up with Martha Stewart. He’s made gospel albums, reggae albums, and classic hip-hop albums. He’s been a gangsta and a role model, an uncle to the masses at large. And now, he’s gone and earned himself an officially licensed Dunkin Donuts sandwich, albeit for a limited time only.

The Doggfather took to Instagram to make the announcement, confirming that his “Beyond D-O-Double-G” sandwich would be available in participating Dunkin Donuts for a week-long run. The sandwich itself screams of decadence, with a Beyond Meat sausage patty, egg, and cheese stuffed between a glazed donut. Snoop took to Instagram to show off his latest creation, leaving us wondering how much marijuana was consumed during the initial brainstorming process.
XXL has shared a press release from Dunkin, detailing Snoop’s involvement in the process; while he originally linked up with the company back in November, the Beyond D-O-Double G marks his first original creation. “When I got the chance to work at Dunkin’ for the Beyond Sausage Sandwich launch, I got to thinking about what other Beyond Meat sandwiches we could create,” he explained. “Being around my favorite glazed donuts got me inspired, so today we are dropping The Beyond D-O-Double G Sandwich at Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide.” Try it for yourself until January 19th.
