Jay Electronica's debut album A Written Testament finally arrived after over a decade of waiting last Friday. It was generally met with pretty good praise from most people, although his inclusion of Louis Farrakhan and bars about the "Synagogue of Satan" rubbed a few people the wrong way. Nonetheless, the project, which was essentially a joint effort with Jay-Z, was praised by those who waited over a decade for the album but it wasn't immune to criticism from those same individuals.

Joe Budden shared his thoughts on Jay's new project and claimed that Jay-Z washed Jay Electronica. That evolved into a little back-and-forth between the two rappers with Jay Elec saying he's never heard a Joe Budden album before and then wishing the Joe Budden Podcast host a successful career as a journalist. However, it seems like Jay might not have been speaking the truth entirely. 

A video surfaced of Jay Electronica and Joe Budden posted up backstage at a concert with the former singing praises of the latter. "I always knew who Joe Budden was, but the first time I ever met him was with Santos. He had good energy but I fucks with him as an MC because he's not on no pretend shit," Jay Elec told Angela Yee. "He a real n***a and he don't give a f*ck so I like that.

Many have called Tom Brady one of the best quarterbacks in the league and he has the credentials to back that. Since joining the Patriots in 2001, he's helped the team earn six Super Bowl rings. Unfortunately, he announced that his time with the team is over on social media today. However, it didn't take long for rumors to start floating around about who he'd be signing to next.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington, Brady is heading to Tampa Bay. Apparently, he's expected to land a spot as a quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though no official signing or announcement date has been made official just yet. Apparently, he has made an agreement in principle to become a Bucc with many sources claiming that the deal is worth $30M a year. However, there isn't any indication how long this would last. 

Brady hit the 'Gram with two separate posts announcing his departure to the dismay of Patriots fans. However, he expressed that he's forever grateful to MA for embracing "this California kid like your own."

"Although my football journey will take place elsewhere, I appreciate everything that we have achieved and am grateful for our incredible TEAM accomplishments," he wrote in the statement.

This coronavirus outbreak is getting real, people! 

Following the recent report that Kevin Durant was one of the Brooklyn Nets players that contracted COVID-19, another superstar name has now been thrown on the list of possible people at risk of catching it next, and it's probably one of the biggest ones so far.

It looks like hip-hop's golden boy Drake — yes, "DRAKE?!" — might have been exposed to coronavirus directly after he was seen hanging with Durant just a few days ago in Los Angeles. The last photo Drake posted on Instagram alongside Kevin Durant (seen above) pretty much proves that to be a fact, and with that another name has been thrown in for added drama as well: LeBron James. Drizzy just so happened to be hanging out court side with LeBron at his son Bronny James' Sierra Canyon game against Harvard-Westlake, and as you can imagine this opens up a whole new level to the outbreak. If the 6 God actually did contract the virus, this could be the case that sees everything getting way more out of hand than it already has. We can't say this enough, but please stay healthy out there by taking the social distancing movement seriously!

Gunna has everyone anticipating his forthcoming project which is called, WUNNA. The rapper has had fans anticipating the release of his upcoming project and he recently kicked the campaign off with, "SKYBOX." This hopefully means that his new project is on the way, although there have apparently been several mainstream releases put on hold in wake of Coronavirus. It's unclear if the pandemic will have any effect on Gunna's forthcoming release since he hasn't actually shared a release date. The campaign for WUNNA, though, appears to still be underway.

No tracklist or cover art has been shared but Gunna has actually broken down the meaning behind his new alias. "WUNNA- Wealthy Unapologetic N***a Naturally Authentic," he wrote on Twitter. Of course, this only led to many individuals in his fanbase to start pleading for the album's release. Others, however, used this as a prime opportunity to get some jokes off. "'Naturally Authentic' is just European for 'drippy'," one user wrote. Another replied, "Buddy hit the blunt one time and said 'this what wunna finna stand for'."

In the lead up to his new album, Gunna has continued to kill every verse he's touched in recent times. On the day he released "SKYBOX," he also teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion on "Stop Playing" off of Suga. He also lent Jamaican reggae star Koffee on her single, "W" last year that was a surprising departure from his typical trap sounds, proving that he has much more to offer in the future. 

Meek Mill has been a vocal advocate for prison reform and criminal justice reform in the last few years. Following his high profile incarceration for a probation violation, fans and supporters rallied together in his support. In return, he's using his platform these days to push the message. Such is the case when he shared a viral video of a Jefferson Parrish police officer appearing to plant drugs on a suspect. After those filming told the officers that they caught him on camera, he put the bag down and went after them.

Gisele Bundchen joined many of the public figures across the world sending out well wishes in the midst of the current coronavirus pandemic, with the supermodel writing a touching Instagram note filled with positivity. However, Gisele’s location at the time her message was sent might not be the best place for a quarantine.

Granted, the Costa Rica beach Gisele was spotted frolicking at with her young kids seemed to be isolated for the most part, but this virus is spreading just too quickly to take any chances. The Instagram note was quite nice though, posted both in English and her native Portuguese language, and came accompanied by a beautiful photo of the sunset that looks absolutely peaceful from afar.

Here’s what Gisele wrote in response to the worldwide coronavirus epidemic her Instagram:

“What is happening in the world is the ultimate reminder that we are all connected to each other and what we choose to do it going to affect us all. For this moment of crisis, we need to understand the importance of physical distancing. We need to protect each other so we don’t get sick and can all stay well together.

Even if you are young and healthy, we all need to follow the recommended protocols and precautions because in doing so we can end up saving someone’s life – particularly the elderly and those who are sick and immunocompromised.

We need community thinking. Think about it – it could be your father, mother, grandmother or someone you know that is most at risk. It is important that we act in solidarity and that we act in the best interest of our common society.

We cannot let fear and anxiety consume our minds. These feelings generate stress and stress lowers our immune system and our ability to fight infections and viruses.

We must instead take care of ourselves and also try our best to help those who are most at risk by supporting them and their basic needs.

We have to try and remain calm, positive and continue to support each other. 

I would also like to thank all the healthcare workers who have been working tirelessly to help all of us.

We’re all in this together.”

She ended her note with a heart emoji, and we can definitely respect the sentiment even though being on a beach right now doesn’t seem like the best idea.

In the latest tally of sales projections, Lil Uzi Vert looks to have no legitimate competition as he is eyeing a second week at the pole position of the charts. With an estimated 255,000 equivalent album units moved on the deluxe, Baby Pluto will have the strongest debut of the week for a second straight campaign.

Following him up directly is Lil Baby, who is still experiencing a surge from his My Turn album. The Atlanta star will move an additional 90,000 copies of the project.

As for the full-fledged debuts on this week’s sales projection report, Don Toliver and Jay Electronica find themselves lower on the list. Houston-bred Don Toliver is set to debut at approximately the seventh position on the charts, enjoying a whopping 47,000 equivalent album units moved. Jay Electronica’s first-ever studio album, a collaboration with Jay-Z, arrives at the sixteenth spot with 28,000 sales.

Elsewhere on the list, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Post Malone, and others are still performing well from their recent releases.

Philip Rivers will forever be considered a legend in the state of California. While he never won the Chargers franchise a Super Bowl, he is still considered to be one of the best quarterbacks they have ever had. A few weeks ago, Rivers announced that he would be moving on from the Chargers and would be looking to continue his career elsewhere. He still has plenty of gas in the tank and while he may be on the decline, he can still help out a team in need.

After some rumors early in the day, it was announced that Rivers would be signing with the Indianapolis Colts. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the deal is worth $25 million and will only last for one season. This gives Rivers a nice trial period with the team and if things don't go well, both sides can move on as if nothing happened.

Even though coronavirus is spreading like wildfire throughout the NBA, with recent reports now saying multiple Brooklyn Nets players contracted the virus, that hasn’t stopped Boosie BadAzz from wanting a Players’ Tribune-style smoke session with any willing NBA players currently on lockdown. Oh, and Meek Mill wants in on the weed cypher too!

Boosie posted a message on Instagram yesterday as a call-out any and all basketball players in the Atlanta area who’d be down to spark a few while telling stories of their time on the court. “I WANNA SMOKE SOME EXOTIC WEEK WITH SOME NBA PLAYERS N HERE ABOUT THEY BEST GAMES N TOUGHEST MATCH UPS,” BadAzz wrote, even adding the hashtag #notestugood in reference to not having to worry about league-mandated drug tests because, in his words, “U ON BREAK ANYWAY.” Meek jumped in his comments to co-sign with a series of laughing emojis and also writing, “I’m coming too.” Exotic or not, sharing blunts right now seems to be one of the quickest ways to transmit COVID-19, especially with random NBA players at that. Let’s just hope we don’t have to report two more positive tests in the near future.

According to Kuz, the bottled germ killers that everybody has been rushing to purchase during the coronavirus pandemic are nothing more than a scam to make even more money for companies such Gojo Industries, which manufactures Purell.

Kuzma’s controversial IG story featured a bottle of Purell hand sanitizer along with the following message for his 4.7 million followers, “Now y’all finally finding out companies been taking money from us for years. This don’t work."
