Megan Thee Stallion has already scored a major win after filing a lawsuit against her record label, 1501 Entertainment. Over the weekend, she claimed that she's blocked from releasing music following a request to renegotiate her contract with Carl Crawford, the head honcho of 1501 Certified Entertainment. TMZ reports that a restraining order was granted towards Megan Thee Stallion against her record label that would allow her to release music as planned.
In the lawsuit, Megan Thee Stallion details some of the terms of their agreement including the payment methods. 1501 apparently gets 60% of her recording income while Meg's left with 40% which also has to go towards paying off engineers, featured artists, and other fees related to her career. Ultimately, she's making the majority of her money from touring which apparently is supposed to be paid straight to the label. Although 1501 said that they were going to give her proper accounting, Megan said that was never done and "purposefully and deceptively vague."
This story extends deep into the roots of Houston's hip-hop's scene since Meg also said Crawford's used his connection to J. Prince to strong-arm producers. "Prince is notorious in the industry for strong-armed intimidation tactics, and the comment was taken as a physical threat of harm," she said in the suit. She even suggested that Prince may have been behind an online smear campaign including the mugshot photo that surfaced.
"We are very happy the Court granted our [temporary restraining order] and thrilled that the world should be able to now hear Megan's new music on March 6," Richard Busche, Meg's attorney, said. "We will now proceed with the other claims set forth in the [lawsuit]."
Apparently, Meg only got a $10K advance on the deal when she signed it at 20-years-old. She's suing Crawford and the label for $1M in damages.
ZaZa’s Parents Call Out North West’s Yeezy Season 8 Performance
Five-year-old rapper ZaZa and her team weren’t happy to see that North West remixed her song “What I Do?” and performed it at the Yeezy Season 8 show without giving proper credit.
We’re sure nobody woke up today and expected to be witnessing a public beef between two toddlers, yet here we are! Following today’s surprise performance by pint-sized diva-in-the-making North West at the Yeezy Season 8 fashion show spearheaded by her dad Kanye West, the parents of five-year-old rapper ZaZa jumped on Instagram after feeling like Northie remixed “What I Do?” without giving proper credit to the original.

ZaZa’s viral hit “What I Do?” was released last summer and has garnered over 13 million views since then. North put a clever twist on the song for her performance — it still feels wild typing that! — sampling the infamous “What are those?!” line for her remixed version. ZaZa’s parents didn’t see the move as disrespectful exactly, but given the huge platform they seemed to be upset that Kanye or Kim Kardashian didn’t give any acknowledgement toward where or who North’s version was inspired by. “We admire Kanye west, and adore his journey,” one of ZaZa’s parents wrote for her on IG, continuing by adding, “However, we don’t wanna feel like our daughter’s journey in the world of entertainment is being STIFLED.” Many people agreed in the comments, including singer Tinashe who jokingly wrote, “North west wishes.”
Check out the Instagram post below, and let us know if you think this is all just an innocent misunderstanding or is North West and the Kardashian clan wrong for not giving credit where it’s rightfully due:

New mom Cassie hopped on Instagram to show off her beautiful family of three, including husband Alex Fine and baby girl Frankie Stone Fine.
Since giving birth to a beautiful baby girl last December, Cassie has been the poster child for what it means to be a happy new mom as well as newlywed alongside husband Alex Fine. If her latest set of IG flicks are any sign of the future, we’ll definitely be seeing her reveling in this happiness for a long time coming.

We’re sure the “Must Be Love” singer couldn’t have predicted she’d be a mom herself when attending VH1’s Dear Mama: A Love Letter To Moms event two years ago (seen above), but motherhood sure does fit her to a tee. Posing with her new family of three, Cassie made all 7 million of her Instagram followers let out a collective sigh for just how perfect they look together. Heart emojis and well wishes filled the comments on both pics she decided to share, and we’d have to agree that they sparked a serious feeling of love with these “glam fam” kodak moments. May they continue to flourish and live out their best lives as a young and beautiful new family.

Michael Jackson’s Son, Blanket, Buys $2.5 Million House In Calabasas
Michael Jackson’s youngest son just copped himself a multi-million dollar mansion in LA.
In celebration of his 18th birthday, Michael Jackson’s youngest kid, Blanket, decided to buy himself a multi-million dollar mansion in Calabasas. According to TheBlast, the King of Pop’s son, who changed his name to ‘Bigi’ a few years back, purchased a $2.6 million pad in a gated community near where his grandmother lives.
Built in 1990, the 6,400 sq. ft-home comes with six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, along with a three-car garage, small work out facility and three fireplaces. Meanwhile, his master bedroom comes loaded with “double spa-style baths, a steam shower, and a soaking tub.” It’s also guarded 24/7 by neighborhood security guards too of course.
As for how he can afford it, TheBlast reports that Michael Jackson’s children are the beneficiaries of his estate and the business of the King of Pop racked in over $1.5 billion in the last 10 years. Plus, the Jackson kids now have their own YouTube channel and show so they’re not hurting for cash.
With neighbors like John Travolta, Kendra Wilkinson, and Dr. Dre, Blanket Jackson is already living his best life at 18. Check out pictures of the crib right here if interested in seeing it.
Three 6 Mafia Hit With Copyright Infringement Lawsuit: Report
Three 6 Mafia is being sued over claims they ripped off a group of artists from Memphis.
Three 6 Mafia is facing a brand new lawsuit from a Memphis-based group who claimed Juicy J and DJ Paul have ripped them off over 150 times. According to TMZ, a group of artists based out of Memphis claim Three 6 Mafia committed “over 150 independent acts of copyright infringement from more than 100 individual sound recordings.”

The group of artists who’ve collectively come against DJ Paul and Juicy J said that they all came up around the same time that Three 6 Mafia was trying to establish themselves. Along the way, they’d all collaborate with this group of artists claiming they produced, recorded, and wrote for Three 6 Mafia but never received a check for their efforts. On top of that, they said Three 6 Mafia was one of the many groups under DJ Paul and Juicy J’s umbrella that they created to make money off of other people’s work. They said this is how they’ve been able to make millions of dollars off of their labor. “Tear Da Club Up” and “MEMPHIS” are two songs Three 6 is accused of ripping off.
Three 6 Mafia is being sued for copyright infringement, damages and an injunction blocking them from profiting off of their work with attorney Bradley Eiseman representing the group of artists.
This arrives just weeks after DJ Paul and Juicy J announced the Three 6 Mafia reunion tour which kicks off this Friday in Denver.
Yara Shahidi Channels ’90s Aaliyah For "Grown-ish" Spring Finale
Yara Shahidi dressed up in Aaliyah’s iconic Tommy Hilfiger look from the ’90s for the spring finale of her hit Freeform series “Grown-ish.”
Aaliyah is without a doubt still missed almost two decades after her tragic death in 2001, and Yara Shahidi proved that by honoring the Princess Of R&B in the upcoming spring finale of Freeform’s hit series grown-ish.

Most people are well aware that Baby Girl was one of the premiere brand ambassadors for Tommy Hilfiger in the 1990s, seen above with lead designer Andy Hilfiger at a Tommy Hilfiger American Tour event for the clothing label back in 1997. Yara decided to give the show’s lead character Zoey a full Tommy Girl makeover as the character celebrates her 21st birthday in the episode with a 90s-themed party. Many of the other characters don costumes from that influential era as well, including Trevor Jackson as Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction, Chloe Bailey as Janet Jackson in Poetic Justice and Ryan Destiny pairing up with Luka Sabbat as denim-rocking ex-power couple Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Looks like it’ll be a good one!
Check out Yara Shahidi’s Aaliyah tribute below, in addition to a clip from the grown-ish spring finale that inspired the Tommy Girl look, and let us know if you think the actress nailed it or should dust herself off and try again:
Lil Uzi Vert Confirms His Album Is Actually Coming In Two Weeks
Will Lil Uzi Vert's "Eternal Atake" drop on Friday the 13th?
Considering how many delays Eternal Atake has experienced, it's understandable if Lil Uzi Vert's fans have trust issues when it comes to him announcing release dates. However, we want to have faith that he will deliver on his promise. On Thursday (Feb. 28), Uzi was whipping around in one of his speedy cars when he went on Instagram Live to tease that his long-awaited sophomore album will be arriving in two weeks time.
A fan had doubts whether the Philly rapper was capping or not, but Uzi has doubled down on his commitment. In response to the fan who tweeted, "Eternal atake in 2 was a lie huh, Uzi wrote, "Nope real shit." Under ordinary circumstances, this would slate his album for release on Friday the 13th. Choosing this spooky date would definitely make sense given Uzi's track record of dark interests. However, he is also known for dropping stuff at unpredictable times. For example, his latest single, "That Way", arrived on streaming platforms yesterday - on a Sunday afternoon. Uzi is now excitedly prepping us for his next song, which appears to be centered on a new alter-ego, "Baby Pluto". "Baby PLUTO make every bitch that played HIM realize how they fucked up," he explained in a tweet.
Lil Pump Looks Microscopic Next To Luka Doncic
Lil Pump posed for pictures with Dallas Mavericks’ star Luka Doncic and the legendary Dirk Nowitzki, who absolutely tower over him.
A quick Google search will inform you that Miami rapper Lil Pump is approximately five feet and five inches tall, but when he’s standing next to basketball superstars Dirk Nowitzki and Luka Doncic, he seriously looks like an ant.
Taking in the Miami Heat home game against the Dallas Mavericks last week, Lil Pump got to watch his team celebrate a win against Luka Doncic and his teammates, but that wasn’t before he took some pictures with the team’s stars outside of their locker room. Receiving preferential treatment, Lil Pump was allowed to walk the backstage halls of the arena when he requested photos with Mavs’ legend Dirk Nowitzki and rising superstar Luka Doncic. The pictures show the rapper in his Canadian tuxedo, wearing double denim and looking seriously tiny next to the hoopers.

Standing over seven feet tall, Dirk Nowitzki towers over Lil Pump, who doesn’t even reach the man’s shoulders. Next to Luka Doncic, who stands 6 feet seven (shout to Lil Wayne), Jetski appears to be a little taller but still, the proportional difference is insane. As many commenters are pointing out, I guess this is why they call him Lil Pump.
The 19-year-old rapper has been quiet as of late, releasing “Coronao Now” with El Alfa several months ago and keeping his upcoming moves a secret.
Orlando Scandrick Already Forgot Who Draya Michele Is
Just when we thought the war of words between Orlando Scandrick and Draya Michele was over, the current free agent went and shaded his reality star ex on social media.
The back and forth between former lovers Orlando Scandrick and Draya Michele came to a head last week on social media, but many thought the beef wouldn’t spill over into a new month. However, it looks like the current NFL free agent just couldn’t resist throwing a slight bit of shade towards his reality star ex.

Things were all good just last summer, as seen in the pic above when the two attended the 2019 BET Awards looking, well, let’s just go with fashion forward. As we all know, their relationship came to an end before 2019 wrapped after Draya announced that she’d been single for all of December. The latest episode in this battle of the exes happened earlier today when a fan expressed upset that Orlando and Draya weren’t together anymore. “Man I hate that you are not with @drayamichele But I get it. Just keep going you and greats things will happen [sic],” the person wrote on Orlando’s latest Instagram pic, to which he simply replied, “who is that?” Whether this can be considered taking the high road or yet another reason for Draya to make clown jokes again, we have a feeling this won’t be the last stone thrown in their ongoing feud.
Peep the exchange below, and let us know if you think Orlando Scandrick’s “I don’t know her” jab towards Draya Michele was necessary:
Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low Release Date Revealed
Sneakerheads and hypebeasts have been waiting on these.
For the last few weeks, Nike and Supreme have been teasing their latest collab which comes in the form of a Nike Air Force 1 Low. This silhouette is one of the most popular of all-time and throughout the years, the triple-black and triple-white colorways have remained classic. With this latest collab, Nike and Supreme are looking to capitalize on the popularity of these two aforementioned colorways except this time around, they are adding Supreme branding in the form of a red tag on the side.
Don't fret, Supreme branding is also found on the insole and tongue. Despite this, some fans are still disappointed with how Supreme barely added much creativity to these kicks. Regardless, both brands are confident their collab will be a success. In fact, it is being reported by @j23app that this shoe will be restocked frequently to make sure everyone is able to get a pair. As for the actual release date, Thursday, March 5th appears to be the big day.
