On Tuesday night, the official Xbox social media accounts teased a special collaboration with Jordan Brand in the lead up to NBA All-Star Weekend. The teaser video, simply captioned "Get ready to redefine the game," featured both Xbox and Jumpman logos in red and black, along with the date '2.13.2020.'

Official release details have not yet been announced, but we have learned that Xbox designed a special edition game Jumpman console, complete with two matching controllers, to commemorate the launch of the "Red Cement" Air Jordan 3s.

When Russell Wilson and Ciara started dating, his mom had some words of wisdom for him about Ciara’s son from her previous relationship with Future. Ciara and Russell Wilson have been together for awhile now. The couple first started dating back in 2015, and by the following year, they had tied the knot in the summer of 2016. Their relationship has been the topic of conversation on many occasions, most notably due to Ciara’s previous relationship with ex-fiancé and notorious ladies man, Future. Ciara and Future were together from 2013-2015, and in that time, the couple welcomed their son, Future Zahir Wilburn. When Ciara had moved on to Russell, Future Jr. was just a baby, and Russell’s mother, Tammy Wilson, had some strong feelings about how Russell needed to treat the Ciara’s son.

Tammy appeared on Sonya and Dell Curry’s Raising Fame podcast this week, where she revealed her first thoughts about Ciara. “I was like, ‘Doesn’t she have a kid?'” Tammy told the hosts, noting that she can’t judge anyone for their circumstances. She then shared what she told Russell: “If you’re really serious about it, then you have to love that kid as if it were your own. Even if that means giving that kid your name.” She goes on to explain, “If you’re going to be with someone who has a kid, you can’t treat that kid any differently than if he were yours.”

It looks like Russell listened to his mama, as he and Ciara have been going strong for years. In 2017, Ciara and Russell welcomed their own child together, a daughter named Sienna Princess Wilson, and the couple also recently announced that they’re expecting their second child together. Mothers really do know best.

Steve Stoute was recently appointed by the New York Knicks as an ambassador who could change their public image and give them a bit of a rebrand. For a long time, Knicks owner James Dolan has looked bad in the media and Stoute is trying to make the Knicks cool again. Yesterday, the music mogul went on First Take where he made some interesting comments about the team's interim head coach, Mike Miller. In fact, Stoute implied that Miller would be fired and a new coach would come in next season.

In the aftermath of these comments, the Knicks issued a statement saying Stoute doesn't reflect the views of the front office. On First Take today, Stephen A. Smith addressed the controversy and defended Stoute. As Smith explains in the clip below, Stoute was brought on by the Knicks to change the perception that James Dolan was running all of the basketball operations. Smith thinks Stoute was successful at doing that but once Dolan got involved with a statement, he essentially undermined his new employee.

Amber Rose‘s new face tattoo that runs all across her forehead made its big debut last week. Rose wasn’t responsible for first revealing to the world that she had gotten her two sons’ names – Bash (Sebastian) and Slash – permanently written in fine calligraphy on her famously-bald head. This news was broken when a fan ran into Rose at a store, took a photo with her and uploaded it to Instagram. Once the pic started making its rounds on the Internet, many voiced their disappointment in Rose’s decision to taint her beautiful face with these onomatopoeic markings. 

Turns out, Amber frankly doesn’t give a f*ck what you think of her new face tat. She shared a message on Instagram for anyone hating and called out the shadiness of those who compliment her while simultaneously criticizing her decision. “For the people that are telling me I’m too pretty for a face tat are the same people that would tell me that I’m ‘too pretty’ even if they thought I was ugly and lie to me lol or they would just tell me I’m ugly,” she wrote. Rose then leaves us with an important message to take away from this whole scenario. “So either way the moral of the story is do whatever the fuck you want in life.” 

If someone is confident enough to commit to a massive forehead tattoo, then it should come as no surprise that online haters won’t be enough to tear them down. Do you, Amber! 

Without any legal representation for Juice WRLD’s estate, Yellowcard’s $15 million lawsuit against the late rapper has been placed on hold for the time being. We had a feeling this might happen after it was revealed that Juice WRLD’s estate had not yet appointed a representative to handle all legal affairs, leading to the dragging of a lawsuit brought forth by pop-punk band Yellowcard.

The premise of the lawsuit stems from Yellowcard’s belief that they should have gotten a piece of the pie from the Chicago rapper’s hit single “Lucid Dreams,” which uses a very similar melody to their song “Holly Wood Died.” The band is asking for $15 million in damages but, without anybody in charge of Juice WRLD’s estate at the moment, it is being reported that a Los Angeles judge ordered for the case to be paused until that situation is handled. As of now, the hold appears to be indefinite, allowing the late artist’s family time to appoint somebody appropriate to his legal affairs.

Juice WRLD’s family and his team at Grade A Productions have stated that the rapper has over 2,000 songs stashed away, ready to be released posthumously. While we’re sure not all of these will see the light of day, future bodies of work have been confirmed.

Early Wednesday morning The Miami Herald reported that UFC legend Nate Diaz had been hospitalized following a fight with Miami Police officers during an arrest in a domestic-violence case. Although a UFC fighter was involved in a dispute at the police station, the man in question was Michael Albert Nates, not Nate Diaz.

Diaz's representative Zach Rosenfield quickly shot down the report, explaining the 34-year old fighter has been in his hometown of Stockton, California since the Tuesday after Super Bowl LIV.

According to ESPN's Ariel Helwani, Rosenfield issued the following statement:

“This story is absolutely not accurate. Nate has been home from the Super Bowl for over a week. This is not him. This is story is completely wrong. Nate has been in Stockton since the Tuesday after the Super Bowl and at no point did he have any interactions with Miami law enforcement. Zero issues whatsoever. And he has never been attached to anything close to domestic violence in his life.”

Furthermore, Diaz's reps are demanding a public apology and have already begun exploring legal action. The Miami Herald has since changed their story, explaining that Diaz had nothing to do with the altercation. 

"In an initial version of this story, the Miami Herald incorrectly reported that mixed martial arts superstar Nate Diaz had been arrested in a domestic-violence case."

Lil Wayne and his daughter Reginae Carter understand the importance of a strong support system. Every time he drops new music, Reginae proudly reiterates her belief that Weezy is the GOAT in his field, a statement many would co-sign. Now, it’s Wayne’s turn to return the favor with some paternal support. As Reginae gears up for her big appearance on WTF!Ness, a special episode of MTV’s Ridiculousness, Wayne took to Instagram to show some love.

Ohio State Football players Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint have reportedly been arrested and charged with rape and kidnapping, stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred at their apartment earlier this month. 

Cam Newton has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL over the last decade although unfortunately, his last few seasons have been plagued by various injuries. After coming back from a shoulder injury last season, Newton hurt his foot and was sidelined for an entire season. Newton recently commented on his situation and assured Panthers fans that he would be back and better than ever.

In a recent interview with ESPN’s David Newton, Panthers owner David Tepper sang a completely different tune. As he explains, Newton hasn’t been healthy is quite some time and he won’t discuss Newton’s future until he knows for sure what’s going on. Based on the tone of his comments, Tepper seems frustrated and it could spell trouble for the Panthers in the future.

“Listen, I’m not a doctor,” Tepper said. “And I’ve said it a million times: ‘Is he healthy?’ He’s not a doctor. There’s a lot of different things that can happen. But first is, is he healthy? Tell me that, and then we can talk.”

Heading into the offseason, it will be interesting to see what becomes of Newton’s situation. There have been trade rumors surrounding the star and if he is, indeed moved, then we’re in for one peculiar news cycle.

LeBron James has proven himself to be way more than just an athlete. One of his biggest ventures is the “I Promise” school in Akron, Ohio. There is a network of schools with the “I Promise” philosophy and some of the juniors from one of the schools were given the shock of a lifetime. Nearly 200 students, 193 to be exact, were brought on a tour of Kent State University in Ohio. During the trip, the students sat down in the auditorium where they were addressed by some important figures at the school. They were then told to look under their seats and open up an envelope.

To everyone’s surprise, they were gifted with four years of free tuition to Kent State. For in-state students, tuition is roughly $11K a year which means for 193 students, that’s over $8 million in tuition. Even for LeBron’s standards, this is a massive gift that will certainly go a long way for these students.

These students still have a couple of more years before heading to college which means they’ll need to keep up their grades and keep attending class. If they don’t keep up with their studies, they will be at risk of losing their scholarship. Either way, this is a beautiful gift that LeBron should be commended for.
