Following Conor McGregor's 40-second victory over Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in his return to the octagon at UFC 246, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith made some very critical comments about Cowboy that had fight fans seeing red. In short, Smith described how "disgusted" he was with Cowboy's "atrocious performance."
Joe Rogan, who was standing next to Smith when he made those remarks, expressed his displeasure on a recent episode of the “JRE MMA Show” podcast, stating that SAS's commentary was bad for the sport. Smith responded in a video posted on social media, and McGregor himself got involved, urging the boisterous host to apologize to both Rogan and Cerrone.
Now, Nate Diaz is getting involved.

In a tweet posted on Wednesday night, Diaz seemed to agree with Smith's assessment, claiming that "the fight was over before it started." He also encouraged Rogan and McGregor to "get off each other's nuts."
Those comments could set in motion the build to the highly anticipated Diaz-McGregor trilogy fight, which is something that McGregor has already expressed an interest in, but we'll just have to wait and see how the UFC books the two fighters moving forward.
UFC President Dana White already has his sights set on a Conor-Khabib rematch for the Lightweight Championship, assuming Khabib survives his clash with Tony Ferguson on April 18. White believes Conor-Khabib could set a UFC record for most pay-per-view buys, but the McGregor-Diaz trilogy would be nothing to scoff from both an entertainment and a business standpoint.
Lakers Owner Jeanie Buss Breaks Silence On Kobe Bryant’s Death
“My father loved you like a son, which makes us family” – Jeanie Buss
Like the rest of the world, Lakers owner Jeanie Buss is still mourning the loss of Kobe Bryant. Jeanie has known Kobe ever since her father (Jerry Buss) signed him as a rookie back in 1996 and they had remained extremely close ever since.
Following Vanessa Bryant’s tribute last night, Jeanie finally broke her silence today after having a few days to gather her thoughts. The Lakers owner took to Instagram to express her love and gratitude for Kobe, saying he was like “family” to her.
“Kobe, I don’t know how to express what you mean to me, my family and the Los Angeles Lakers,” Buss wrote … “My father loved you like a son, which makes us family.”
She continued, “Kobe, you brought Gianna with you to spend some time with me. You explained that you wanted to show her that women can be leaders in the NBA, just like the men. At first, it seemed like an action of a devoted father setting an example for his daughter. But in actuality — and I am positively sure you knew EXACTLY what you were doing — what you did was give me the inspiration and strength I was searching for. I reflect on that day often and it makes me smile and it makes me strong.”
After sharing her love for Vanessa and the girls, Jeanie then went on to pay respect to the other victims in the crash, saying the whole Laker family is mourning with them. “To the families that also lost loved ones on Sunday, the entire Laker family mourns with you. Laker Nation – we are one family grieving the loss of people we all loved dearly. We will mourn together, cry together but we will also heal together, love together and win TOGETHER. We love you.”

Lori Harvey Sizzles With More Sexy Snaps Following Future Engagement Rumours
Lori Harvey serving more looks.
Lori Harvey and Future are very much together and made their romance real to everyone when the rapper accompanied the 23-year-old to Jamaica for her birthday celebrations. Lori showed major love to her man when he “outdid” himself on making her birthday special for her and her family and friends in attendance. Once Lori headed back home to reality, she had to deal with some court issues from her October hit and run.

After securing the same lawyer who got Lindsay Lohan off for her DUI, Lori recently stirred up more attention her way since she shared images to Instagram that showcased rings on her engagement finger. While Lori and Future haven’t been dating for that long people were quick to assume that maybe they jumped to engagement since things are seemingly going so well. While the rumour mill keeps going on the matter, Lori’s still keeping up with her usual hot shares and her latest addition to her feed sees her posing in a brown leather get-up sans bra. The look is in collaboration with her PrettyLittleThing deal.
Lori and her new attorney are due in a Los Angeles court next month for a preliminary hearing on her hit and run case.
Kelis Claims Pharrell & Chad Hugo Never Paid Her For Her Neptunes-Produced Albums
Kelis is calling out the production duo for failing to pay her royalties.
Kelis has come forward about some shady business practices performed by production duo Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, aka The Neptunes. When The Neptunes produced Kelis’ first two albums,Kaleidoscope and Wanderland, she was told that the three of them would split the profits evenly, but apparently, that never happened. Kelis claims that she never saw the money for her work, but instead was “blatantly lied to and tricked” by “the Neptunes and their management and their lawyers.” She initially didn’t notice the missing profits, though, because she had finally started to make money from touring and “just the fact that I wasn’t poor felt like enough,” she indicated. However, when she did eventually confront Pharrell and Chad, they blew it off as a non-issue.

“Their argument is: ‘Well, you signed it,'” she explained, referring to her recording contract that she signed with them when she was 19 years old. “I’m like: ‘Yeah, I signed what I was told, and I was too young and too stupid to double-check it.’” Their ploy was especially hurtful, because Kelis, Pharrell, and Chad were all friends. This conflict lead Kelis to seek out other producers to work with instead, which The Neptunes were not pleased about. “I could tell they were really offended,” she said.

They had somewhat of a falling out, but Kelis reveals that she has run into Pharrell since. He nodded to her from the stage at an industry event to make “it seem[] like there’s mutual respect,” a gesture she returned somewhat begrudgingly. “I’m like, OK, I’m not going to yell back: ‘You stole all my publishing!’ So you end up nodding back and everyone thinks everything’s great. Like, whatever.” Yikes. Kelis will be releasing the 20-year reissue of Kaleidoscope on February 21st.
Lil Wayne Previews "Funeral" Song With Russell Westbrook Shoutout
“I feel just like Russell Westbrook.”
One of the most legendary figures in rap is ready to strike with a brand new album. A few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to receive a fresh body of work from Eminem but tonight, another GOAT contender readies his own entry into eventual Album of the Year conversations. Lil Wayne has been teasing the arrival of his upcoming album Funeral for years and in a number of hours, we’ll be hearing it in its entirety. Without much information about the project other than its cover artwork and a release date, Funeral’s content will be a surprise to most of us. He didn’t need to do this but, as if to hold us over for the next little bit, Lil Wayne just released a snippet for one of the album’s tracks, grabbing our attention and causing us to wait with even more impatience for tonight.

“Bitch I’m a baller, dunk on whoever/I feel just like Russell Westbrook,” raps Weezy F repeatedly in the preview for “Wild Dogs.” “Bitch I’m a dog, I turn to a werewolf,” he continues. Without a tracklist in place, we don’t know whether or not this will be a solo record or if it contains a featured guest. Still, it sounds like an absolute smash.
Who’s excited for Funeral to hit streaming services tonight?
Aaron Gordon To Participate In 2020 Dunk Contest: Relive His Best Performances
Just waiting on Zach LaVine now...
Basketball fans were bummed out when Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant turned down an invitation to the 2020 Dunk Contest, but the NBA's "Plan B" has us more excited than ever for All Star Saturday night. According to Shams Charania, Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon has agreed to participate in the Dunk Contest, joining Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard and Miami Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr.
Gordon, 24, last competed in the Dunk Contest in 2017, but it's his epic performance from 2016 that has fans eager to see what he pulls out the bag at the United Center on February 15th. The man who defeated him in 2016, Zach LaVine, has already been invited to go for this third Dunk Contest crown, but he has not yet announced whether or not he'll join the field.
LaVine has not competed in the Dunk Contest since 2016, when he narrowly beat out Gordon in an instant classic, double-overtime thriller. Fans had already been calling for the hometown favorite to lace 'em up again on All Star Saturday night, and that's only going to escalate further now that his rival has committed to the show.
Check out some of Gordon's greatest Dunk Contest performances in the video embedded below while we await LaVine's decision.
Jennifer Lopez & Her Abs Hit The Gym Days Before Super Bowl Halftime Performance
J-Lo’s abs just won’t quit.
Despite her widely-criticized Oscar snub for her critically acclaimed performance in “Hustlers,” Jennifer Lopez still has plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks (or, in this case, days). J-Lo has been working hard these past few months to prepare for her highly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show performance alongside Shakira. It seems like she’s been practically living at the gym to get as fit as can be for the occasion. Her most recent gym spotting was just two days ago, where she was joined by her husband and frequent workout buddy, Alex Rodriguez. J-Lo rocked a crop top and leggings, showing off her already incredible figure.

J-Lo’s performance prep isn’t all exercise, though. The superstar posted a video on Instagram last week from her halftime shown rehearsals. In the clip, J-Lo really gets into the spirit of the sport, as she imitates a football move over and over on the 25-yard line while she waits for her cue to begin rehearsals.
“Waiting for my cue like … Only ? days until #SuperBowlLIV! ✨? ✨ The countdown is on. Are you ready? #PepsiHalftime #SBLIV @guess @niyamasol,” she wrote in the caption. The NFL recently announced that a Super Bowl visual live album will be released featuring all of the artists performing at the event, including J-Lo and Shakira along with Demi Lovato singing the national anthem and Yolanda Adams accompanied by The Children’s Voice Chorus singing “America the Beautiful.” The Super Bowl LIV takes place this Sunday, February 2nd.
Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Reportedly Not Dating Despite Recent Romance Rumours
Someone had to shut these rumours down ASAP...
When Rihanna attended Yams Day 2020 a few weeks ago and was spotted having the time of her life with A$AP Rocky backstage, speculation began to circulate that the two of them were romantically involved. After all, they'd already been linked in the past after they were seen kissing off-screen while filming the music video for Rocky's “Fashion Killa." Though they both denied the rumours back then, a lot can change in 7 years. RiRi had also recently ended things with her Saudi billionaire boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, so all signs of a new Rocky romance pointed to yes.
These signs were loosely confirmed by The Sun on Wednesday, when the publication reported that sources had revealed that Rocky and RiRi "shared a hotel suite" after Yams Day. The source also claimed that, "they’re really enjoying each other’s company and taking things easy as it’s still early days. It’s really casual between them and she’s not thinking about whether there’s a future with Rocky. She’s a newly-single girl having fun." The news that the Bad Gal and Flacko were reportedly dating had the Internet going crazy, some over what a beautiful couple they make, and others over their disappointment in having even less of a chance with Rihanna.

However, more recent reports have shut down this talk of an "A$AP RiRi" relationship of any kind. A different source spoke to E! News about the alleged couple, declaring that, "Rihanna is single," and while she and Rocky are good friends, nothing more is going on. "She's hanging out with ASAP Rocky, but she is not dating him," the source confirmed. "They have a long history and she's just having fun." The insider elaborated on this, indicating, "she just got out of a long, intense relationship with Hassan. She wants to be single and isn't going to jump into something." Fair enough. Though Ri seems to be focused on living her best single life at the moment, there's always a possibility that she and Rocky could get together in the future. Never say never.
50 Cent Earns Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star, Snoop Dogg Shares How He’s Celebrating
50 Cent deserves his spot on the Walk Of Fame.
One of the most touristy things you can possibly do in Los Angeles is taking a stroll along the Walk of Fame, located on Hollywood Boulevard. While the area is avoidable at best for Angelenos, it’s a must for anybody visiting the city on a short-term trip. Pop culture junkies will notice all of their favorite actors, musicians, radio hosts, and entertainment staples immortalized as stars on the sidewalk and now, a popular rap icon and television executive has found his rightful place on the block.
Located in front of the W Hotel near the corner of Hollywood and Vine, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson officially has his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. He reacted to the news, hitting social media and saying, “They never seen nothing like me before.” Some of his closest friends, including T.I, Wiz Khalifa, Uncle Murda, Michael Blackson, and more commented on the post, congratulating the legend on his latest accomplishment. Snoop Dogg hilariously chimed in by reposting the same image of the star, revealing how he will christen it.
“Welcome to the walk of fame cuz @50cent,” typed the Doggfather, recalling his own recent induction. “I’m C walking on it soon as I get bacc to the crib.”
Congratulations, Fif. You deserve it!
JR Smith Approves Of Knicks Fans’ Raucous "Sell The Team" Chant
See how Knicks fans reacted to their latest blowout loss.
New York Knicks fans have been calling for team owner James Dolan to sell the team for years, decades even, to no avail. Despite the fact that the Knicks continue to be the laughing stock of the NBA, Dolan hasn't shown the slightest inclination that he intends to sell the team. But that hasn't stopped fans from loudly voicing their displeasure as another season wastes away.
In the closing seconds of Wednesday night's ugly blowout loss, fans who hadn't already exited Madison Square Garden fill the arena with a roaring "SELL THE TEAM" chant. As seen in the instagram screenshot embedded below, former Knick JR Smith was quick to give fans the "thumbs up" for their efforts.
As a result of the 127-106 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, the Knicks fell to 13-36 on the season which ranks among the bottom three in the NBA. That's good news as far as their chances of landing a Top 4 pick in the 2020 Draft are concerned, but it's just the same old story for the championship-starved fanbase.
Earning one of the top two or three picks in the upcoming draft might temporarily boost the spirits of the Knicks faithful, but as long as Dolan is running the show the circus will go on. And as long as the team continues to get embarrassed at MSG, Dolan can expect to be serenaded with more "SELL THE TEAM" chants.
