YG was arrested early Friday morning under what he and his team are framing as questionable pretence. Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies showed up to YG's doorstep with both a search warrant and arrest warrant related to a robbery case. After searching his San Fernando home, the Compton rapper was placed under arrest. "This arrest is one that caught YG completely off guard because there is no truth to them," said YG's lawyer, Joe Tacopina. "YG has no idea what investigators are talking about and we have not been provided with any details ... we are learning about this case through the media."
It has been reported that YG was released on bond on Friday evening, but it has not been revealed yet whether he will be permitted to participate in the Grammy's Nipsey Hussle tribute on Sunday night. Earlier this week, it was announced that YG would be taking the stage alongside John Legend, DJ Khaled, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch and Kirk Franklin to honour the departed rapper. Since YG's arraignment is only scheduled to occur on Tuesday, it remains unclear whether his arrest will interfere with his ability to perform.
The Game took to Twitter to express his suspicions that police intentionally targeted YG to sabotage the Grammy tribute. He wrote: "Funny how @YG gets arrested the weekend of the Grammy’s when he’s supposed to hit the stage in Nip’s honor. #LAPDtheBiggestGangHere." The Game also shared this theory with TMZ when they spoke to him outside LA's Derriere nightclub, where he was celebrating the release of Megan Thee Stallion's new single. “They know that YG was supposed to be on the Grammys,” he said. “The Grammys gave ni**as an opportunity to put on for Nip and of course the LAPD, they gon’ come through and hate. Wake a man up after he been through everything he been through at 4 a.m. in the morning taking him to jail when he excelling in life. That shit trash.”

Lil Reese Has Yet To Regain Voice More Than Two Months After Getting Shot In Neck
Reese's voice is still damaged following the November shooting.
A tragic shooting that took place in November that left rapper Lil Reese in critical condition continues to haunt him two-and-a-half months later. Reese was shot in the neck during the altercation, which took place in a Chicago suburb and left him without the ability to use his voice. Reese has been very open about how difficult the process has been as he hopes and prays everyday for his voice to return, but according to the rapper's recent tweet, he has yet to regain his vocal abilities.
After a fan tweeted, "I hope Lil Reese get his voice back , that n*gga be dropping hits," Reese replied in a quote-tweet by saying, "I pray my shit come back everyday I wake up God got me tho it be back.." While the strife of dealing with his damaged vocal chords would take a toll on him regardless, Reese was somewhat prepared to have to wait for his voice to return. In November, just over a week after he was shot, Reese revealed that that the doctors had told him it would take him at least 2 months to regain his voice. He also shared a photo of his gruesome neck wound from the violent altercation a few days prior.
However, he did not appreciate the backhanded shoutout from Uncle Murda on the infamous "Rap Up 2019." On the monstrous roast, Murda said, ""Lil Reese got shot in the neck, I'm happy he okay. He lost his voice, we ain't wanna hear his new shit anyway." Reese clapped back, telling Murda "suck my dick old ass bitch still tryna rap."

Belfort claims the film was funded with cash from 1Malaysia Development Berhad, whereas he was told it would be financed by “legitimate high-net-worth individuals and companies, including Goldman Sachs,” as described by The Hollywood Reporter.
Red Granite co-founder Riza Aziz has been accused of taking $700 million from 1MDB into his personal bank accounts. Aziz is facing jail-time in Malaysia.
Belfort’s lawyer told THR: “Red Granite and its principals did not disclose to Mr. Belfort that they were using funds obtained from engaging in racketeering and other criminal activity … Had Mr. Belfort known those facts, he would have never agreed to enter into this contract.”
Belfort is attempting to cancel his contract with Red Granite: “Belfort is significantly damaged by Red Granite’s tainting of his book/story rights, coupled with Red Granite’s inability and/or refusal to exploit and maximize the rights acquired from Belfort … due to the highly publicized scandal,” his lawyer explains.
Red Granite’s lawyer Matthew L. Schwartz of Boies Schiller Flexner has responded in a statement sent to The Hollywood Reporter that you can find here.

Kim Kardashian Gave Tour Of Fridges After People Accused Her Of "Starving" Her Kids
Glad we cleared that up.
After Kim Kardashian's shapewear line, SKIMS, shared a promotional shot of the reality star standing in her kitchen, plenty of folks were shocked to see how little Kim kept in her fridge. In the photo, Kim is shown reaching into her open fridge, but it appears that the mother of four only has milk and water in there, with not an ounce of actual food in sight.
Many were confused as to how their household could only survive off of liquids alone, considering the six mouths they have to feed. One user even replied, "I see nothing in that fridge that reflects a family with 4 kids haha! I just cant relate. Sorry."
While most responses were similar in tone to this reply, according to Kim herself, some took the situation very seriously, spewing accusations that Kim was straight up starving her children.
Kim revealed this absurd fact during a "Get Ready With Us" video (1:06) with her sister, Kylie Jenner, on Tuesday. After the uproar that Kim's Skims fridge photo caused, Kim decided to show everyone what was really going on in her kitchen, by giving her millions of IG followers a tour of her multiple fridges. The footage shows the fridge seen in the Skims shot, which Kim specifies is just her "beverage fridge." She shows us the other places where she stores her food, including a massive industrial sized fridge for all of her perishables. Kim addressed her decision to give video evidence of food in her house in the segment with Kylie, after a fan asked how she felt about so many people taking an interest in her fridge. "When they started to say that I was like...starving my kids," Kim noted, "that's when I was like, 'Oh, hell no. Let me show you my real fridge people.'" So, case closed? Kim's not literally starving her children? Good to know.

The film will now be released on March 5, 2021, a date that was previously held for Sony’s “Master of the Universe.” “Masters of the Universe” no longer has a release date scheduled.
Uncharted stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as his mentor Sully. The director spot is currently vacant.
Earlier this month, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Ruben Fleischer was the company’s first choice to take over behind the camera. He’s recently lent his talents to Venom and Zombieland 2. Travis Knight had to give up the job after a scheduling conflict.
Uncharted has seen six directors and faced numerous delays since it was announced in 2008. Wahlberg was originally set to star as Drake, but in the time since, he’s aged out of the character and has been moved into the Sully role.
The story is expected to take place prior to the events from the first installment of the PlayStation video game series created by Naughty Dog. The latest game in the series is 2017’s Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Naughty Dog’s newest game has also been delayed. The Last of Us Part II releases on May 29, 2020.

Fortnite Is Now A High School & College Sport
High schools and colleges, take note.
Fortnite is officially set to become a high school and collegiate sport, according to Tech Crunch.
LA-based startup PlayVS has partnered with Epic Games to start competitive league play within the collegiate and high school level. High schools will be able to pay $64 per player to enter into a league where they can compete with other local schools.
While the format is duos, schools can submit as many teams of two as they like. The top-performing team will be put into a playoff with a chance to play in a championship game in May: "A season is divided into a one-week long preseason, an eight-week long regular season, followed by the playoffs. A champion is crowned at the end of each season," reads PlayVS's website.
The site allows users to use "comprehensive Match Data & Statistics" to analyze performance and scout opposing teams.
"We provide a robust online platform that enables schools to easily build and manage teams, check schedules, and track stats, all with real-time support," the company says.
PlayVS was founded in April of 2018 by Delane Parnell with the mission of bringing competitive esports to the high school level. The company has raised $96 million since launch.
The season begins on March 2nd.
YG Released From Jail On Bond Following Robbery Arrest
YG was arrested Friday morning following a police home raid.
After he was arrested on suspicion of robbery charges early Friday morning, it has been reported that YG has been released from jail on bond. The rapper was taken into police custody after the Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies showed up to his doorstep with both a search warrant and arrest warrant related to a robbery case. The officers proceeded to conduct a raid on his San Fernando home, which resulted in his arrest. His bail was set at $250,000.
Police officials have yet to release any details relating to his charges. YG's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, has raised suspicions about the whole arrest. "This arrest is one that caught YG completely off guard because there is no truth to them. YG has no idea what investigators are talking about and we have not been provided with any details ... we are learning about this case through the media," he said. "Rest assured, my client will be cleared of all charges, if they even survive past the arraignment." YG's arraignment will take place on Tuesday; however, it has yet to be confirmed whether or not he will still be performing at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, as he was scheduled to partake in a tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle alongside Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, John Legend, Roddy Ricch, and Kirk Franklin.

It is for this reason, then, that the timing of the arrest also struck Tacopina as fairly coincidental. "YG has a performance scheduled at The Grammy's Sunday where he will honor Nipsey Hussle...so the timing is suspect, to put it mildly," Tacopina added. The Game agreed, as he took to Twitter to express similar sentiments. "Funny how @YG gets arrested the weekend of the Grammy’s when he’s supposed to hit the stage in Nip’s honor. #LAPDtheBiggestGangHere," he wrote.
