Though 6ix9ine managed to dodge a bullet when he was sentenced to two years with time served earlier this year, it appears that COVID-19 might actually mean that he's out as early as this evening. According to Inner City Press, the U.S. District Attorney has filed documents saying that there aren't any objections to releasing the rapper early due to the potential threat of the COVID-19 outbreak.

"In light of the analysis under Section 3553(a) detailed during the defendant's sentencing and the Court's March 25 Order, in the event the court finds 'extraordinary and compelling reasons' presented by the defendant's medical condition, placing him at high risk during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Government does not oppose the defendant's motion for compassionate release," U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman wrote in a document filed to court.
The Bureau Of Prisons denied the rapper's initial request for an early release due to the risk of COVID-19. However, a new update from earlier today revealed that because he's not in their custody, they wouldn't be able to grant him a compassionate release. With that decision being placed in the hands of the government, it appears that 6ix9ine might very well be a free man later this evening. We're currently waiting on the judge's the final decision.
6ix9ine initially argued that because he suffers from asthma, he should be released earlier from prison. Though it's possible he's released on house arrest, there's a good chance that he won't be back on social media until his sentence is actually completed.
6ix9ine Co-Defendant Kooda B Granted Temporary Release Due To COVID-19 High Risk
Kooda B asked the judge to be released due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and the judge has granted the request.
The other day, we reported on how, like many people locked up right now, Kooda B was asking the judge to grant his release from prison. Kooda B is a co-defendant in Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s trial, he plead guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering when the charges first started to rain down on 6ix9ine in summer of 2019.
In a letter to Judge Engelmayer, Kooda B’s lawyer, Lisa Scolari, asked that her client be released on the same $300,000 bond that he posted last year, because he suffers from asthma which puts him in a precarious position with COVID-19. Scolari explained to the judge that Kooda B requires an inhaler for his shortness of breath, and is considered “high risk” for the Coronavirus. “He has needed to use the inhaler at least once in the last month,” she wrote, going on to explain: “They are overcrowded, making it impossible to enforce the social distancing necessary to prevent spread of the virus. Inmates live in close quarters, share facilities such as sinks and showers. The MCC also has shortages of soap and disinfectants.”
Initially, we reported on how this request was opposed– but it looks like the judge actually proved amenable to the request in the end, and Kooda B has been granted a temporary release.
As confirmed yesterday afternoon, the Judge reportedly said that there are at least four other inmates in the same facility as Kooda who have contracted the disease, and because of Kooda’s asthma, the MCC has agreed with the “high risk” label.
Tekashi 6ix9ine May Be Released From Prison Today
Tekashi 6ix9ine may be released from prison later today as the Judge is "inclined" to grant him compassionate relief.
It's looking likely that Tekashi 6ix9ine could be released from prison later today, as Judge Paul Engelmayer has officially stated that he is "inclined" to offer compassionate relief to the Brooklyn rapper.
In a wild turn of events, the Judge presiding over Tekashi 6ix9ine's case appears to be willing to grant his release from prison later today. In a series of tweets by Inner City Press, who has been providing live courtroom updates on the matter for months, it was revealed that after the Bureau of Prisons denied 6ix9ine's release this week, a second appeal was filed and the Court intends to grant it.
False reports have started to circulate regarding the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine and, although that may happen later today, it would not become official before 5 PM.
"The Court directs that the Government respond by 5 pm. The parties are advised that, provided the Court has authority to grant the relief requested by defense counsel, the Court intends to do so," reports Inner City Press. Unless the Judge is pulling an epic April Fool's Day prank, it looks like 69 will actually be getting out.
The rapper's first appeal was reportedly turned down because he had not consulted with the Bureau of Prisons but, after being denied by the BOP, the Judge is now inclined to release 6ix9ine pending the US Attorney's official opposition of the order.
We will continue to keep you updated on 6ix9ine's possible release from prison throughout the day.
Juice WRLD’s Feelings About 6ix9ine Beef Revealed Via Adam22
Juice WRLD wasn’t very into the social media antics, but he laughed after seeing Tekashi 6ix9ine’s parody of “Lucid Dreams.”
Tekashi 6ix9ine tried to start beef with anybody that threatened his position on the charts, including Juice WRLD. Although their spat was short-lived and very one-sided, Juice WRLD’s feelings over their disagreement have been revealed in a new interview by Adam22 of No Jumper.
During his life, Juice WRLD developed a friendship with Adam22 and in a new sit-down chat with VladTV, the podcast host explains how the late Chicago star really felt about his brief feud with the rainbow-haired Brooklyn rapper.
Attempting to kick off a feud with Juice WRLD, Tekashi 6ix9ine filmed a video parody with “Lucid Dreams” as a base. He pretended to be the hitmaker after finding out that his girlfriend was cheating on him, sitting in the corner of a room and writing lyrics. Apparently, Juice WRLD found the video funny, telling Adam22 that he had a laugh at the clip.
“His whole brand was just being the nicest kid in the world,” said Adam22 about the late 21-year-old. “Nobody ever really had anything against him. I remember 6ix9ine trying to beef with him… he thought it was funny. He thought it was hilarious. To be fair, the video that 6ix9ine made where he goes into the corner of the room and he starts playing the Juice WRLD song fake crying, that 6ix9ine video is one of the funniest diss Instagram clips ever done about another rapper ever. I’m not at all surprised that Juice WRLD was able to find that so funny.”
Juice WRLD passed away last year after an accidental drug overdose. Watch the video interview from Adam22 below.
6ix9ine Associate Kooda B Asks To Be Released From Jail Over COVID-19 Scare
Kooda B from Tekashi 6ix9ine’s federal case requested to be released on bond because his asthma puts him in high-risk of contracting Coronavirus.
Kooda B, an associate of 6ix9ine that was arrested in connection to the Nine Trey case, is asking the judge to allow him to post bond so he can be released from jail due to the rising concern of Coronavirus. According to Complex, his attorney Lisa Scolari has asked that her client be released on the same $300K bond that he posted last year because he’s suffering from asthma, putting him in a higher risk of contracting the virus.
Scolari told the judge that he was provided with a albuterol inhaler upon his entry into the prison facilities “to address incidents of shortness of breath.” She added, “He has needed to use the inhaler at least once in the last month.” Pointing to the “inherently unsafe” prison conditions at this point, she argued, “They are overcrowded, making it impossible to enforce the social distancing necessary to prevent spread of the virus. Inmates live in close quarters, share facilities such as sinks and showers. The MCC also has shortages of soap and disinfectants.”
Unfortunately, the government has opposed this request. They said Kooda B’s “reliance on the current health crisis to secure his release—post-conviction and less than three months from sentencing—is unfounded and should be denied.” They also downplayed his severity of his health conditions, claiming he “has a minor form of asthma.”
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Request For Early Release Amid Coronavirus Denied
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s request to be released early from prison and serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest amid coronavirus has been denied.
Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s plea to the court to serve the remainder of his prison sentence under house arrest to reduce his chances of contracting coronavirus has been denied by the judge, but there may be another way that the rapper can be released early. On Monday, we reported that 6ix9ine was fearing for his life behind bars, as the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 continues to rise within the New York prison system. According to his lawyer, Lance Lazarro, the rapper possesses a higher risk of contracting the virus, as he has multiple pre-existing conditions that render him more vulnerable to becoming infected. Last Halloween, 6ix9ine was diagnosed with bronchitis and sinusitis, which ultimately led him to be hospitalized.

Because of his client’s medical conditions, Lazarro implored Judge Paul Engelmeyer that 6ix9ine, who is set to be released in August, be granted early release from prison under the condition that he serve the remainder of his sentence under house request. In the letter sent to Judge Engelmeyer, Lazarro also noted that 6ix9ine has been experiencing shortness of breath—one of the primary symptoms of coronavirus—and that the prison facility’s doctor had recommended he be treated at a hospital, only for the warden to deny him that freedom.

Despite Lazarro’s efforts, though, Judge Engelmeyer has denied the request. According to legal documents, the court actually lacks the legal authority to grant the request in the first place. However, while Judge Engelmeyer may not be able to do 6ix9ine any favours, he suggested that Lazarro instead file the request with the Bureau of Prisons. Engelmeyer insisted that, at the time of sentencing, he would have directed that 6ix9ine’s final four months be served in home confinement had he known back then that a global pandemic would ensue to which 6ix9ine’s medical conditions would make him particularly vulnerable. According to TMZ, Lazarro believes that Judge Engelmeyer’s sympathetic response “is a strong recommendation to the Bureau of Prisons to release him immediately,” and thus plans to file the request with the BOP promptly. We’ll keep you updated on the BOP’s decision.
Tekashi 6ix9ine Fears For Life Amid Coronavirus Scare
In light of the coronavirus hitting the New York prison system, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s team is once again moving for an early release.
While Tekashi 6ix9ine is set to be released on August 2nd, having served a twenty-four-month prison service, his team is looking to expedite the process in light of the coronavirus pandemic. While many are operating under a strict state self-isolation —though others have chosen to neglect the practice altogether– several cases have already been confirmed within the New York prison system. In light of that, 6ix9ine’s lawyer Lance Lazarro has implored the judge to allow 6ix9ine leniency in serving his remaining sentence under house arrest.
Bob Levey/Getty Images
A letter received by NBC New York reveals the reasoning behind Lazarro’s request, citing a preexisting medical condition that would leave the young rapper susceptible to the virus. On October 31s,t 2019, 6ix9ine was diagnosed with bronchitis and sinusitis, which ultimately led to his hospitalization. To make the situation more complicated, Lazarro reveals that 6ix9ine has been experiencing shortness of breath –one of the main symptoms of coronavirus–only for the warden to dismiss his concerns.
“Mr. Hernandez has been complaining to prison officials this week of shortness of breath, but apparently the warden of his facility will not allow Mr. Hernandez to go to the hospital despite the recommendation of the facility’s medical director that Mr. Hernandez be treated by a doctor at a hospital,” writes Lazarro, in the legal letter to Judge Paul Engelmeyer.
Given that there have already been thirty-nine confirmed cases at Riker’s Island, as well as Harvey Weinstein’s diagnosis at Wende Correctional Facility, it’s clear the virus runs a risk of rampaging through the prison system. What isn’t clear, however, is whether the Judge will indeed show leniency to the rainbow-haired young rapper — even if he does run a higher risk of succumbing to the virus, should he find himself infected. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the latest developments as they occur.
Tekashi 6ix9ine Hit With $150M Lawsuit Over 2018 Shooting: Report
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s facing yet another lawsuit after a lady claims she was hit in the foot with a stray bullet in a 2018 shooting.
Tekashi 6ix9ine might be months away from being released from prison but he’ll be welcomed home to a gang of lawsuits. Days after Fashion Nova filed a suit against the incarcerated rapper, a woman filed a lawsuit against Tekashi 6ix9ine for $150M on claims that she was struck during a revenge attack that he ordered.

TMZ reports Jane Doe claims the rapper completely ruined her life goals of becoming a police officer after she was struck with a stray bullet that hit her foot in a 2018 shooting. She said she was in front of the Smurf Village apartment buildings in Brooklyn as alleged members of the Nine Trey Bloods responsible for the rapper’s kidnappers were hanging out and shooting a music video. She accuses 6ix9ine of a calling a hit on the individuals when he found out their location.
Doe said as the shooting happened, she was struck in the foot and hurt her knee simultaneously as she fell to the ground. In the lawsuit, she said she needed physical and mental treatment as well as having to undergo surgery. She added that she was forced to quit her job at Century 21 and the injury has plagued her dreams of attending the police academy.
The lawsuit documents mention the 6ix9ine’s offer to pay for her medical bills and his public apology but she’s demanding that she coughs up $150M.
“It’s suspicious that the plaintiff only sued Daniel Hernandez who was never identified as the shooter in her case. The plaintiff did not sue the persons involved in her shooting. To be clear, Daniel did not shoot her,” said Dawn Florio, 6ix9ine’s lawyer.
Krayzie Bone Calls 6ix9ine The Most "Overrated" Rapper
Krayzie Bone offers his take on the game’s most “overrated” rapper, setting his sights on the rainbow wonder himself, Tekashi 6ix9ine.
If you ever come across somebody unwilling to recognize that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are among the most influential hip-hop groups of all time, don’t be mad at them — it is your responsibility to enlighten, not to judge. It goes without saying that the Cleveland based collective has earned their place in the pantheon of greats, having laced countless classic records and all but invented some of today’s most ubiquitous melodic flows. Suffice it to say, they’ve earned their rights to speak as authorities, and Krayzie Bone recently laid down his take on Tekashi 6ix9ine on The Domenick Nati Show.

When asked about the game’s most “overrated” rapper of the moment, Krayzie wasted little time in naming the Rainbow Wonder. “I never really had nothing against him, but I really didn’t get it,” explains Krayzie. “There are a lot of artists out there like him that I really don’t get. What’s the purpose? For one, there’s a lot of artists that come out today, I have no idea who they are, where they came from. I’m in the music business, I listen to everything. I even listen to the younger generation that’s coming up. But some dudes they throw at us, we never seen this dude in our life and they talking about — what do you feel about such and such getting arrested– and I’m like who the hell are these people?”
“There’s a lot of that in hip-hop going on,” he continues. “That’s how they introducing these cats to people. Such and such was arrested. Look in the comments when they post this stuff. Look in the comments, everyone else be saying who?! But I guess that’s how they breaking artists these days. By telling you, oh this dude got arrested. He’s got a felony charge. It’s crazy.” When asked whether 6ix9ine’s release will help him blow out, Krayzie appears relatively cynical. “Man, these days you can do anything in the media besides have a sexual assault case, and blow up. No lie.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine Sued By Ex-Friend After Allegedly Ordering Execution
Tekashi 6ix9ine is being sued by Shane Hardy who claims that the rapper had two of his gang affiliates shoot him. He survived injuries to his head and neck.
Twenty-four hours after news surfaced that Tekashi 6ix9ine was facing a $2.25 million lawsuit from Fashion Nova, more legal troubles are said to await the disgraced rapper. As Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s alleged August release date approaches, it looks like people are coming for their coins. The rapper is currently in federal custody serving out his two-year sentence after turning State’s agent against his former accomplices. The future of his career hangs in the balance, but as his unwavering fans anticipate his freedom, 6ix9ine’s ex-friend has filed a lawsuit against him.
TMZ reports that a man named Shane Hardy has made accusations that Tekashi 6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, once ordered a hit on his life. Shane reportedly says that he and Hernandez had a disagreement way years ago about the “GUMMO” rapper’s connection with the Nine Trey Bloods. During his trial, Hardy claims his former friend admitted that “he directed Aaron ‘Bat’ Young and Jamel ‘Mel Murda’ Jones to shoot Hardy.”
In January 2018, Hardy was in Brooklyn when Young and Jones allegedly found him and shot at him multiple times. Amazingly, Hardy survived being shot in both the neck and back of the head. He’s suing Hernandez, Young, and Jones for unspecified damages. While Hernandez received a two-year sentence, Young and Jones’s sentences weren’t as short. Young received 20 years behind bars while Jones got 11. Both ended up pleading guilty.
In 2018, Hardy, whose nickname is “Snow Billy,” reportedly conducted an interview with the BBN Network and detailed being shot. You can check that out below.
