Amanda Seales feels that there are more important things to worry about right now than whether or not she's had issues with her former co-hosts on The Real, but she'll address these rumours anyway just to get it out of the way. On Tuesday (June 2nd), Amanda announced that she had decided not to renew her contract for the daytime talk show, and explained that she didn't feel like she had been able to use her voice in the way she wanted.

"It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to," she noted. "I’m not at a space where as a full black woman, I can have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for black voices to be at the top too."

While the issue appeared to largely be with the higher-ups at the network, many began speculating that Amanda might have been having some problems with her fellow co-hosts, in particular Loni Love. Fans noticed that the Instagram account for The Real, as well as Loni's personal account, had supposedly unfollowed Amanda, and that she had unfollowed Loni back.
However, Amanda completely shut down these rumours, and called out everyone who was focused on imaginary drama between The Real ladies instead of on what's going on outside in the process.
“Do not try to create some false descension between me and the cohosts of ‘The Real,'" Amanda demanded. "Y’all so f*ckin’ corny. There is a whole pandemic and an uprising going on, and you still can’t find sh*t else to do? You try to create some conflict that doesn’t exist? I did not unfollow Loni Love. I haven't unfollowed anybody! Shout out to Jeannie, shout out to Tams, shout out to Loni Love, and shout out to Adrienne."
"What y'all don’t understand is grown women do grown women business, that’s what y’all don’t understand," she continued. "And what I do with my business ain’t got nothing to do with them sistas. Y’all need to have a good day and get your minds focused on what we need to do to make this a good world." Well there you have it. It looks like all Amanda wants is for everyone to redirect their energy towards doing something productive.
Amanda Seales Quits "The Real" & Explains Why
Amanda Seales says that she chose not to renew her contract at "The Real" because she cannot use her voice as she had hoped.
Amanda Seales signed on as a full-time host of The Real at the beginning of this year but, after her contract expired, she decided that she is no longer willing to be a contributor on the show, choosing not to renew her deal.
The media personality believed that her voice was being suppressed by the higher-ups on the set, choosing to leave this week. She spoke with Brandon Victor Dixon during a live-stream and explained her decision.

"My contract is up at The Real and I didn’t renew it, because it doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to," said Seales. "And where the people that are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled."
She went on to suggest that she believes her voice was being muffled.
"I’m not at a space where as a full black woman, I can have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for black voices to be at the top too," she added.
Congratulations to Amada Seales for staying true to herself. We'll keep track of what she has planned next.

Tiffany Haddish claims that she and Common are just friends, but fans aren’t buying it now that they see the pair under quarantine together.
Good friends Tiffany Haddish and Common continue to fuel the rumor mill. The pair have been hanging out quite a bit over the last few months, igniting rumors that they’re more than friends. The actress has been pegged with questions about her relationship status, especially after Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Lawson, commented on a photo of Tiffany and Common that they were a “beautiful couple.“

When her episode of The Real aired just two weeks ago, the hosts asked Tiffany about Common and she denied dating the rapper. “That’s my friend, he been my friend for a while,” Tiffany said. However, she also added that she’s completely open to hooking up with her friend. “But if he wants to date me, I will date him!” Adding more fuel to the fire, Tiffany was on Instagram Live with her fellow comedian buddy Cedric The Entertainer. While chatting with one of the Kings of Comedy, viewers noticed that Common was hanging out in the background.
Then, the rapper came on the Live for a few moments to speak with Cedric before making his exit. Fans are no longer buying their “friends only” status as it seems as if they’re quarantine and chilling the days away. Whatever is going on, good for them. Tiffany Haddish Talks Common Dating Rumors, Gets Advice From Jeannie Mai
Tiffany Haddish has seen Jeannie Mai and Jeezy living their best lives and wanted to know how to date a rapper.
There’s been a bit of speculation about what’s really going on between Tiffany Haddish and Common. The pair have been photographed together over the last few months, and the gossip train has continued to chug on by, spreading rumors about the pair’s secret relationship. Recently, Tiffany Haddish shared a photo of herself and Common after they visited a painting class, and Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles commented, “Beautiful couple” with a red heart. The message further fueled the gossip fire, but during her visit to The Real, Tiffany addressed the rumors.
“That’s my friend, he been my friend for a while,” Tiffany said. However, if the rapper wanted to change things, the actress is open to it. “But if he wants to date me, I will date him!” Tiffany puts Jeannie Mai, who’s dating Jeezy, on the spot and asked her help on snapping an emcee. “Give me some advice, how do you date a rapper?”
After the hoots and claps subsided, Jeannie told Tiffany that if she really wanted to go out with a rapper, she just has to make sure she’s selective. “Before you worry about what they gotta do, make sure you got your eyes on the right one,” Jeannie Mai said. “‘Cause it’s not just any of ’em.” Tiffany quipped that she sees that Jeannie and Jeezy “are on bikes and stuff” and “going to Jamaica.” It’s apparently a vast difference from the rappers Tiffany used to date because she claims they’re all in jail. Waka Flocka Thinks Rappers Need To Show Love To Their Romantic Partners
Waka Flocka discussed hip hop wanting rappers to be “rough” and “thuggish” instead of celebrating their relationships and being in love.
As they continue to promote their new reality series, Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera stopped by The Real. The hip hop couple have been staying busy lately, especially with their reality TV projects, and now they’ve returned with another show, Waka & Tammy: What The Flocka, on WEtv. During their visit, Waka talked about hip hop being the only genre of music where artists don’t celebrate their romantic partners.

“Why we gotta be so hard?” Waka asked. “Every other genre, they can be in love, they can even be older and still be an artist. For hip hop, you gotta stay single, rough, thuggish, mean-muggish.” The Real host Amanda Seales chimed in and added that that sort of thought process doesn’t get you anywhere. Waka admitted that it “gets a lotta people some places” but for him, he wants respect and love from the people in his life.
Elsewhere, Waka Flocka talked about his aspirations of becoming a psychologist. “A lotta kids come from like, where I come from they actually need it,” he said. “A lot of us don’t got that big brother, that dad, that coach. That’s why a lot of us rely on sports because them coaches become our fathers and our older brothers. A lot of people don’t understand that.” He said he was 33-years-old when God showed him his life path “and money ain’t the motive, because I had all the money.”

Loni Love Denies Getting Tamar Braxton Fired From "The Real"
Loni Love is denying Cookie Hull’s claims that she plotted to get Tamar Braxton fired from “The Real.”
Last month, comedian/writer Cookie Hull revealed that Loni Love concocted several emails that would ultimately lead to Tamar Braxton getting fired from The Real. While current hosts of the daytime talk show have feuded and made up with the Braxton sister on multiple occasions, the saga between Tamar and the cast consisting of Tamera Mowry, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon and The Real‘s newest addition Amanda Seales continues years after Braxton’s departure from the show. Now, Loni Love is clearing the air about the rumor that it was her that contributed to the singer/songwriter from getting dismissed from the television series.

According to Cookie Hull, who is an ex-friend and collaborator of Loni Love’s, the 48-year-old comedian turned television personality plotted against Tamar Braxton because she wanted to be the show’s only “ghetto” cast member and didn’t appreciate Braxton taking all of her shine. While Hull’s claims do sound fictitious and bizarre, some fans of the show and Braxton’s following believed the rumor to be true. This is why Love is coming forward and speaking her truth about the outrageous claim is nothing but a hoax.
In a recent interview with Madame Noire, Love denies that she even refers to herself in terms such as “ghetto” and would never refer to Tamar as such. The interview initially brings up the subject of Hull’s allegations, stating:
“I don’t know if you want to talk about this or not—but Cookie Hull recently did an interview with Comedy Hype and she made some claims that it was you who wrote an e-mail to get Tamar fired and you wanted to be the only ‘ghetto’ Black girl on the show. You addressed it a little bit on TheReal but didn’t say her name. So I wanted to know what you thought about that.”
Loni Love gracefully replied:
“I do have thoughts about that that I addressed in my book. But I will say this, anybody that knows me, knows that I will not describe myself as a ghetto girl. I wouldn’t describe Tamar Braxton as a ghetto girl. I might say that we believe in the power of being ourselves. But ghetto girl?! I would never do that. And also, there’s a lesson in this. When you try to help people, you have to watch who you help.”
Love continued:
“I’ve never been against any Black woman. My fans know that. That’s the reason why I wrote this book. When you read the book, you will see. I’ve been trying to get the truth out for years. But here, we dealing with this reality show type (mentality). I do address that in my book.”
Loni Love is currently promoting her new memoir, I Tried to Change So You Don’t Have To, while The Real continues to produce their Emmy-winning content for their fans. Check out a clip of Love judging the brand new competition talent show The Funny Dance Show in the Instagram post provided below.
Keyshia Cole Gives Update On Mom’s Sobriety Following "Slip-Up"
Keyshia Cole shared earlier this year that her mother, Frankie Lons, was headed to rehab. The singer gave an update about her mother while visiting “The Real.”
The family drama between Keyshia Cole and her loved ones has been played out, in detail, on reality television. The R&B singer has been featured in a number of unscripted series throughout the years, and she’s never been shy about sharing her reality with the world. Whether it be the good, bad, or downright ugly, Keyshia Cole has removed the veil from her life and lived her truth.
Keyshia and her mother, Frankie Lons, have had a fractured relationship throughout Keyshia’s life, but no matter what they’ve faced, they’ve reconciled with hope. Frankie has battled addiction issues for decades, but recently, Keyshia posted on Instagram that Frankie was headed to a rehabilitation center. While on The Real, Keyshia gave everyone an update on how Frankie is doing on her road to recovery.
“She checked herself into a rehab a month and a half ago,” Keyshia revealed. “She had one little slip-up but I brought her out and I wanted to give her a Valentine’s Day extravaganza, congratulations vibe. It didn’t work out, she was trying to find the alcohol.” Keyshia said the following week, Frankie called her to let her know that she wasn’t strong enough to leave the rehab facility. Frankie told her daughter not to pick her up for a while because she wanted to work more on her triggers.
Keyshia added that she’s learned some things about herself, as well, during this process with her mother. Not only did she realize how patient and loyal she could be through trying times, but she also shared that she didn’t understand addiction like she believed she did. According to Keyshia, this is the first time Frankie has wanted sobriety “for herself,” so “that is a turn in the addiction.” Check out clips of Keyshia Cole on The Real below.
Loni Love Had Her Boyfriend Sign A Non-Disclosure Agreement
Loni Love recently explained why she wanted her boyfriend of two years to sign an NDA & shared anyone “coming up” should have one with their partner.
It’s difficult to keep your business to yourself when you’re in a relationship. If you’re like Loni Love, you may go to the extremes and make your significant other sign an NDA to help keep your personal life under wraps. On a recent episode of The Real, the hosts talked about a man who wanted his girlfriend to sign a prenuptial agreement before they moved in together. During the segment, Loni Love revealed that she had her boyfriend of two years, James Welsch, sign on the dotted line of a non-disclosure agreement.

“I don’t care if you’re on television or not, if you know you coming up in the world and things are happening—’cause you notice how all of a sudden Jessica Simpson and all of them are writing these books and they’re telling their side of the story and everything, possibly if they had an NDA, they couldn’t do that,” Loni said. “‘Cause that can ruin your brand. Somebody making false…not saying what [Simpson] is saying is false, but in general. It can really hurt your brand, it can really hurt you as a person.”
“I have [an NDA],” Loni added. “I made James sign one… The NDA isn’t for him, it’s because the people around him.” Watch Loni Love explain her situation on The Real below and let us know if you’d ever ask your partner to sign an NDA.
Bow Wow Explains Why He Isn’t Ready To Settle Down
Bow Wow’s relationships have been played out in the media, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing him tied down to any one woman soon.
Last year, Bow Wow called himself a “playboy” on Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, and it doesn’t seem like he’s ready to put that lifestyle to rest. The 32-year-old rapper has recently embarked on the Millennium Tour 2 with Omarion, Ashanti, and a host of other super-talented artists. He recently stopped by The Real to chat with the ladies about his tour, dad life, and of course, his romantic relationships.

During her recent visit to The Real, Angela Simmons said that when it comes to a potential romance with Bow Wow, she wouldn’t rule things out. Bow Wow was pegged with the same question when he sat down with the hosts and gave a similar answer. “You never know,” he said with a smile. Then, the single dad was asked if he was ready to settle down.
“Now, see, I can answer that one,” he said. “I don’t know if I’m ready yet… You know what? I’ve been thinking about the idea of me walking down an aisle and all of that. I’m not saying it’s far out of reach, but it’s kinda weird seeing myself do that right now. As far as settling down, I’m just so focused with what’s going on in my career, this tour and everything I got going on so if I date somebody, I gotta be able to give her my all. All of my attention. And I’m not gon’ lie, I’m one of them dudes, I like my space.”
Bow wow elaborated that he likes to be able to do whatever he wants without having to answer to anyone else. “I like my me time,” he said. Watch Bow’s clip with The Real below.
